A beautiful scene where water cascades down the uneven mountain grooves and stones and where plantlife flourishes down the steep slopes. One can climb to the very top, but it's dangerous if one were to lose their footing.
@Myungsoo The girl shivered as the early morning cold winds blew in pot the hut through the many bullet holes, coming from the nearby ocean of course. She opened her eyes, wondering how much time had passed, and just what all had happened. Scared again, she looked around, relieved she was in her hut, but worried because Myungsoo looked like a mess. She saw the wrapped shoulder wound and the dark circles underneath the man's eyes from not sleeping at all throughout the night. "Myungsoo.... Everything is okay now right? We got them right? Otherwise they'd still have me.... Please rest okay? Just for a little bit, I'll wake you up if there's anything wrong don't worry..." She said softly, having about a million things to worry about at the moment. Gently she hugged him, being carefully mindful of his shoulder so she wouldn't hurt him. Then she let go of him and ruffled his hair,"Thank you for not letting them take me though..." Minzy whispered and leaned in to give Myungsoo a peck on the cheek along with a soft smile before laying back down where she had been on the other side of the hut and curled up with a blanket so she wouldn't be so cold.
@Minzy "Aish..." Myungsoo murmured, sighing lightly as he wiped a bit of blood off his lip and considered what to do. Overall Minzy seemed alright, but he wasn't planning on leaving the girl alone any time soon, especially not with the man who had tried to kidnap her again. Sparing one glance over to the man, Myungsoo merely hoisted the unconscious girl over his shoulder, heading to the hut to lay her down. Then he went out to grab the man, also setting him in the hut, taking a moment to scavenge around and find something to tie him up. Letting out a sigh, the boy then focused on the wounds. The man was still bleeding, the bullet in his shoulder. He was lucky he was unconscious as Myungsoo got to work, taking out the bullet and then bandaging up the wound with whatever he could find. Then, his eyes fell on his shoulder, which was still bleeding sluggishly and he groaned, wrapping up his own wound as he leaned back, exhausted. And yet he couldn't fall asleep. Instead his mind whirled with questions and worries. So, he merely kept his eyes barely open, hand on his gun as he maintained watchful eye over the hut.
@Myungsoo When Minzy had fallen to the ground, she was weakened. There was no more strength, energy, or courage left in her, completely drained by the returning fear. Her heartbeat intensely from all the shock and pain going on in her mind but it soon shut down as she went from breathing heavily to breathing softly. The last thing she heard was a gunshot in the distance. In her current state she couldn't really think straight so she wondered if she had died. Minzy saw Myungsoo coming towards her just before she fainted and lay limp in the sand. Other than a bitten lip and bruise on her neck which would probably give her a bad sore throat later, the girl was all around fine. She'd pulled through again, survived another run in with the first men to hurt her and bring her life down to shambles.
@Minzy "High up..." Myungsoo mused lightly at the man's words, eyes suddenly narrowed as thoughts rushed through his head. Then he pushed those thoughts away and cocked his gun. "Try me." He was betting on the fact that the man would be slower than him or that he would take the bluff. He didn't want to hurt Minzy, but that was the risk he had to take to make sure she came out unharmed.
Myungsoo was surprised when Minzy hurt the man, and from the look of it, the man was surprised too. Myungsoo's eyes mechanically tracked the man as he ran, his gun arm moving fluidly through the air before he shot. The bullet went through the man's arm and Myungsoo watched as he fell forward. In moments, Myungsoo was holding the man by his collar, one hand glowing with the flames as a small ball of fire formed and he considered what to do next. It was his biggest wish to kill this man, for all the crimes that he had committed. But there were too many questions at hand as no answers. Myungsoo needed answers. So the boy merely let out a soft sigh before hitting the man hard on the head, watching as he went unconscious before he let the guy to limp. Setting the man down, Myungsoo immediately looked over at Minzy. He was a mess, probably a terrible sight, and Myungsoo hesitated to help the girl, now sure how she would react. For all he knew she was now terrified of him and they had ruined their friendship forever.
@Myungsoo Minzy bit her bottom lip so hard that she tasted her own blood as she watched the hut become full of holes, but was relieved when Myungsoo came out alive, even though he was hurt a bit. She tried to wiggle free but then gasped desperately for air as now she was being choked by the arm that held her close. The man did his best to hide his head behind her,"You won't shoot, if you do then you'll hurt her. Find a new girl, she's to high up for your kind anyway..." The man said. Normally, Minzy would've been confused and curious as to what the man meant, but she was too busy focusing on the low amount of oxygen getting into her system. For a moment, she pulled herself away from her fears and her past to use all her strength into biting her attacker's arm hard. He let go of her neck at least but still she couldn't get free yet as his arm only moved to holding her close by the waist. She took a deep breath and spat in the sand because she'd drawn blood from biting the man. Minzy's eyes still were streaming tears, she elbowed the male in the stomach with the last of her strength, then fell forward onto the sand as her attacker pushed her down then ran away as fast as he could.
@Minzy Myungsoo was too slow to prevent the man from bursting into the room and grabbing Minzy. Slowly, the boy raised his hands, watching the man carefully as he moved backwards, out of the hut. The first shot caught him off cm guard and he winced as it glanced by his shoulder, creating a long cut through his jacket. Face carefully composed, the boy moved towards the door, heading out into the beach, incinerating bullets with the casual sweep of his hand. While he seemed to be calm, inside Myungsoo was boiling with both anger and questions. Eyes still in Minzy's captor, the boy moved fast, quickly knocking out the captor's buddy with brisk moves. The men had caught him by surprise, but he was faster and stronger than them physically. Heading towards Minzy's captor, Myungsoo slowly raised his gun, his lip bleeding a little from his fight before, ignoring the pain in his shoulder as he growled.
"Let her go or I shoot."
@Myungsoo "Pfft well fine~ I'll be his friend even though he doesn't want it" she says with a nod and giggles a bit. "Aw~ The boy is kinda cute when he smiles, he should do it more often~" she said softly, teasing him a bit and giving his cheek a light poke when she saw that small smile flicker across Myungsoo's face. Then she blinked several times as everything went so suddenly silent, so serious. Minzy paused when the male stopped midway in his sentence, wondering if she'd been a bit too touchy so she let go of him and pulled herself back a bit slowly.
Then she heard it too though, the faint out-of-place sounds of people. She'd been in this area long enough to know and identify each sound perfectly, even with the soft crashing sound of the waves, she knew when something unnatural entered the environment. She tensed up instantly like a frightened cat and bit down on her lip, absolutely silent. Minzy was scared, but a little less than if she would've been alone. Her eyes travelled to Myungsoo's gun as she saw how his face turned stone cold and he reached for it. The girl still didn't know what the device did, so she was still uneasy. Inside she was panicking a bit. What could she do? Could she run? Or would that make it worse? She felt cornered again and found it hard to breath but she managed and trued her hardest not to make a single sound. Maybe they would just go away if she was quiet. Tensions arose as the strange sounds were becoming louder, drawing ever closer to the hut.
In what seemed like a quick flash of a second, a giant of a man came through the door of the hut that was made of fabric. He had a gun just like Myungsoo's and instantly grabbed Minzy, pulling her in front of him like a shield while pointing his gun at Myungsoo's head. "Get a new girlfriend, this one's mine..." The man mused and aimed the gun at the girl's head as he dragged her out. "It's them! It's them!" Minzy screamed, tears streaming down her cheeks fast as she struggled a bit in the man's grip but the shock was too much for her. She recognized the man along with the other one that had been waiting outside, the memory of her house burning to the ground with her parents trapped inside paralyzed her with fear, the man was gripping her tightly by the neck anyway so she couldn't scream again. It wasn't enough to kill her though. When she struggled for air, choking on tears, he eased up slightly but still used her like a shield as he backed away, watching the hut as he dragged her. She watched as his buddy started shooting holes in the hut,"Myungsoo!" She called out when she could, but then choked again as she was gripped firmly once more. "Shut up!" The man snapped at her and she was obedient.
@Minzy At first, Myungsoo froze lightly, not used to such physical contact. It had been a while since he'd actually talked to someone as in depth as he talked with Minzy, so he wasn't quite used to such contact. But then he relaxed lightly, a small smile flickering on his face as he let out a small chuckle. "I don't think the boy wants friends now." he replied, slightly amused. "He just wants to master his powers." The next question caused him to tilt his head back, thinking "I suppose they do." he murmured "But I don't know, I've never been back." he never would go back until he had fully mastered his powers. "After all I--"
Then Myungsoo fell silent. There was something off about this place. The soft peaceful atmosphere had changed. It was all the time spent alone that Myungsoo had sharpened his other senses. If he couldn't use his powers here he was thoroughly outmatched. So, it was up to him to get better in other aspects. The physical and the mental. He had to be better than these people at other things, not using his power as a life jacket. As Myungsoo listened lightly he froze at the sound of steps and voices. And slowly, very slowly, his hand moved to his gun and his face became like stone again.
@Myungsoo Honestly, she had already been just a little scared of him because of how he looks when he's mad, but she wasn't that scared of his story once she soon remembered that he wasn't always like this. In fact, the majority of their time spent together has been nice so far. She watched as he leaned back and saw the way the memories pained him as he spoke. Very slowly so that she wouldn't startle the other, she moved closer to him and wrapped her arms around him to hug him gently. "See? I'm not scared at all, because I know that boy isn't a monster. He's just been through very tough times, and needs a good friend to be kind to him again is all~" she said softly, not really sure if her words really were as comforting to him as she wanted them to be. "Myungsoo, don't your parents miss you being gone?...." She asked, hoping that question wasn't too out of line.
@Minzy Myungsoo merely nodded, biting his lip "The boy always loved the flames. It was like a part of him that he didn't know about. It was like him. But one day the flames went out of control." his voice was trembling now, and the boy leaned back, closing his eyes as he struggled to stay calm. "They were messing with him. These people. And the boy got angry. And the boy snapped and the fire went out of control." Myungsoo could still remember the screams of terror as they ran, but they couldn't run fast enough. Myungsoo had been angry then, he'd tried to hurt them. "The boy ended up killing three people." his words were broken nod, and his hand was clenched tight around Minzy's. "So the boy decided it was time to go." the words were hard to force out of Myungsoo's mouth. His past, though it was so long ago, was still something that hurt to talk about. The guilt of killing was still there after so long. "So the boy left his home to travel to where he truly belonged. Through a portal to this world. He vowed he would never use his powers again for harm." Myungsoo's voice was soft as he finished, and he leaned back, tired from telling his past but finally feeling a little bit more relieved to have shared something like that. It was a burden, to keep that alone. But now, there was one more people in the world who knew.
@Myungsoo Minzy looked at their hands as Myungsoo spoke, letting him play with her fingers. She listented curiously and attentively, wondering what it was that Myungsoo was missing. If he had such a loving family and many friends, what more was there to want? Maybe he had wanted a lover too? She shrugged slightly at her own thoughts, being her overly curious self. She wouldn't ask questions until Myungsoo finished telling his story though. The girl smile slightly and laced their fingers so she could give the male's hand a comforting squeeze,"I would like to know what happened to him.... And don't worry, nothing you could say would scare me. Words are just words as the past is the past..." She said softly with a nod, looking at him now as she waited for him to continue on.
@Minzy "Alright." the boy smiled lightly, patting the girl gently on the head as he leaned back, smiling fading a little as he tried to remember exactly the story he wanted to tell. "Well," he began slowly, thinking as he spoke "There once was a boy." he smiled dryly at how generic the beginning of his story sounded. "He was a normal boy, no, he was a human boy." He supposed people of this place would find humans weird. "He lived with a loving, caring family and had many many friends. But he always felt as if something was missing from him, a part of him." Myungsoo leaned back, sighing as he played with Minzy's fingers, his shell cracking a little to show the compassionate boy hidden away for so long. "He loved the flames, they were fascinating to him." He paused before he spoke again, this time hesitant "Would you like me to tell you what happened to this boy? After all, the ending is not so happy and just a little bit frightening."
@Myungsoo "Hmmm.... A real one, but as for mood/tone, surprise me... I don't mind, well, I kinda want the topic to you too, I wanna know about Myungsoo~" she said curiously and unconsciously took his hand in hers, giving it a comforting squeeze when she realized it, and a gentle smile showed on her face,"Only if you wanna tell me though... You don't have to if it hurts, I never force anyone to do anything. Er, unless they are mean people and hurting me or someone else, then I try to make them stop..." She mumbled the last part with a small nod. Minzy laid there peacefully resting her eyes as she waited for the other to gather up a story to tell her. She had so many curious questions about Myungsoo, but so many that she figured it only annoy or anger him so she held them away safely in her brain, it was best if she just let him tell her. That way she wouldn't end up being scared of him again because he was upset. Her small fingers played a bit with his much larger hand, but tiredly as she was growing weary from the slow decent into night.
@Minzy "Would you like a happy story or a sad one?" Myungsoo asked, a little cautiously. He was quite sure the girl would say happy, but hey, it was possible she would want something sad. Not that it was very likely, but it was polite to ask. "Also," Myungsoo paused "Would you like a made up one or real one?" He would enjoy sharing a story of his childhood if she asked for it. Though some days it hurt to remember, often he remembered with nostalgia. He liked to remember his mother's warm smile and the sound of his brother's laughter.
Fairy tales weren't out of Myungsoo's reach either though. As a kid he did enjoy exploring far away lands with knights and dragons, delving into books and lore as he explored a world that did not exist. Well he supposed in a sense it did, after all he was here, the land of fairy tale creatures. Oh if he could only head back home, then he'd truly have a story to share. No one had to believe him, Myungsoo knew that no one would probably believe him. He would end up weaving his life here into a fairy tale, one that would satisfy children for centuries to come. If only he could go back.
@Myungsoo The girl gave a small nod at Myungsoo's words as she was reassured of her safety. Minzy closed her eyes and smiled softly, calmed quickly by his gentle touch as his fingers kept running through her hair. She yawned softly and slightly uncurled from her little ball formation, but folded her arms across her chest, holding/hugging herself slightly.
Just as she actually had been about to drift off to sleep, she heard the other blurt out and she opened her eyes. Minzy turned slowly to face the male and looked at him curiously,"Sure, I'd love to hear a story of any kind~"she replied, growing more and more curious by the second, as always. "I'll fall asleep to it ne?" she said since he had just said that she should go to sleep. So, she closed her eyes once more and listened closely to whatever story Myungsoo had in mind to tell.
@Minzy "They won't find you." Myungsoo murmured firmly, leaning back against the wall as he continued to gently Minzy's hair. "Don't worry." He couldn't be certain that they wouldn't find Minzy, but he was fairly sure that they were long gone. Besides, there was probably no reason for them to come back, after all, why would they? They had probably taken everything they'd wanted the first time, leaving what they didn't want behind. Myungsoo was quite certain that Minzy was safe, now. Besides, he was here right?
"You should sleep." the boy commented softly, sighing as his eye drifted around the simple yet quaint hut. "You must be tired." He was sure he had pushed the girl a little too hard when he had questioned her about her past and he also felt a little guilty about not telling her anything about his past. "Do you want to hear a story?" the boy blurted out before the thoughts had even registered. He hoped to make the girl forget her upsetting thoughts and just sleep, along with pay her back for remembering some terrible thoughts. It was the least he could do.
@Myungsoo The girl tensed a bit when Myungsoo completely surprised her by stroking her hair so gently, but she calmed down quickly since she began to trust him. Her worries faded with a soft sigh and she blushed lightly, but smiled softly at his action and curled up into the comfortable fetal position. She too was suddenly startled a bit by the sound of his voice thrown about in the midst of the sounds of soothing waves. "I guess they are both kinda equal in beauty.... I just thought you should listen to the sound... And er, honestly i wanted you to be close while I slept because I trust you wont do anything bad to me, and talking about all those mean men again made me scared, i know it's just silly thinking they'd find me again though..." She said, her voice very soft and quiet.
Minzy knew she probably shouldn't trust him because she barely knew him and she really should ought to know better after all her experiences, but she couldn't help but be a bit ignorant. She was just one of those innocent souls, so knew to the outside world that they barely knew how to interact with it. Besides, he really didn't seem all too bad when he was giving her a mean look or using his scary tone and he was stroking her hair so calmingly, she liked it, no one has done this before. Or maybe they had long ago? Had her mother once done the same? She couldn't remember, oh her mother.... She didn't want to think about those things, somehow she ended up curling into a ball to hide her embarrassed face as well as to prevent herself from crying again. Ugh, why am I such an emotional wreck? She thought to herself and just let her mind drift off to the sound of the waves again.
@Minzy Instead of laying down, Myungsoo instead took a seated position near the girl, moving his hand to gently her hair. It was awkward for him, yes, because it was the first time he'd acted this way, but it was supposed to be a gentle calming motion. Closing his eyes, the boy began to listen the the waves, body moving slowly in a sort of soothing motion. His breaths began to slow, matching the sound of the waves, and the silence was bliss. So, when his own voice echoed through the room, it even startled himself a little. "Is the scene of the waves not as beautiful as the sound? Because I happen to like both."
As time had passed, Myungsoo's guard had slipped lower and lower, allowing him to show his heart in a way that he hadn't expressed much after the accident. He had seen this place as rotten and corrupt, not bothering to associate with any of the people here. Now, he wasn't so sure. Maybe there were innocent kind people out there. It was just that Myungsoo had bad luck with those people. Well, now he supposed, that one meeting had changed his whole perspective of this place that he detested to call home.
"I-It's okay Myunggiesoo~" she said softly with a shy little smile to him. The girl rose slowly when he said she could go sleep now. Minzy looked over at Myungsoo and saw him staring so intensely at the water. Was that how she looked when she was upset and trying to calm down? "Uh, a little, but it's really okay... I'm okay..." She said, noticing that guilty smile of his. The girl hated seeing others looking upset, it was just a natural dislike she had no matter who it was. After watching him just sit there for a bit, she was a little worried, wondering how long he'd stay like that.
Minzy walked over to the male and bent down, taking a hold of his arm and gently tugging on it to get him to stand up. "If you keep staring, the sight will swallow you and you'll never look away from such enchantment... You should listen instead, it's more soothing..." She suggested and gently pulled him away by linking their arms. The younger took him to her single room hut and then let go of him, flopping down on the ground which was covered with a thick blanket. She rolled over to make room for him and laid on her side, gesturing for him to lay down and do the same, listening closely to the sounds of the crashing waves with her eyes closed.
@Minzy "Sorry..." the boy mumbled, suddenly feeling a little guilty for making Minzy relive all her terrible memories. "Y-yeah, you can go to sleep now." Myungsoo nodded, lips turned up in a small guilty smile as he settled on the ground by the base of a tree, staring out into the open sea in front of him. "I probably pushed you a little didn't I?" the boy's voice was wistful, sorry. "I didn't mean to pry."
Slowly, his eyes drifted to the sea in front of him, and the calmness of the water soothed him. He supposed he could have understood why this was Minzy's home. It was a pretty good place to live. It was calm and serene, plus an added bonus for him is that he would never hurt anyone here. But, the city had always been his home. And leaving it would be unthinkable for Myungsoo. Besides, he couldn't run away from his problems. Because they would probably end up finding him anyways.
@Myungsoo "No, you're not like that Myunggiesoo.. I like you, you're nice so far...." she said softly as she played with the water. "I guess there could be good things there, it is really pretty on the outside, but I don't want to go back there. I don't want to risk seeing those people again, even if I find someone to go with me... I like it here, this is my home, I'm safe here, no one can hurt me here...." A few tears slipping down her cheeks but she quickly made them evaporate so that they couldn't be seen. The girl nervously bit her lower lip a little, but slowly tried to calm herself. She didn't want worry, she didn't want people to know her true emotions, she wanted everyone to be happy and think that she was happy too.
Minzy tried her best and just put on a mainly apathetic expression,"The big bad men set the house on fire while my parents were still inside, they chased me since I'd gotten out in time. I guess they didn't make it out because they didn't come looking for me." She mumbled her response and then shook her head at his next question,"I had only just started school, so I had no friends yet, and no men came to talk to me, I stayed hidden in the forest and whenever I saw someone I ran because I was scared..." Minzy pouted slightly and got up,"My heart hurts.... It's making me tired... C-Can I go sleep Myungsoo?" she asked and yawned softly. Really she just wanted to stop talking about her past before she ended up crying her eyes out.
@Minzy Myungsoo inwardly flinched as Minzy described her experience with people and immediately felt a rush of sympathy for the girl. She had been through a lot, and yet, though she tried, she still wasn't able to see the good in humanity. Not that Myungsoo was able to either but at least he could stand to be around people and cherish the good moments. "Not all people are like that." Myungsoo murmured "I'm not like that right?" He asked te girl, tilting his head before shrugging and leaning back against the tree "You really shouldn't go into the city alone. It's dangerous there if you go alone. But, the city also holds some beautiful things, hidden, but seen if you can look closely." The city here was like every other big city Myungsoo had been to. He had lived in a big city, grown up in a big city, and learned to love the city. He supposed that's why he lived where he lived now. He wanted something to remind him of the past. And the city just happened to be the strongest reminder.
"Your parents didn't even bother to look?" Myungsoo's eyes narrowed as he let out a soft huff of dispproval then paused "Speaking of parents..." He hesitated, unable to go on, not wanting to hit another nerve. "Well," Myungsoo changed his question hastily "Didn't you have any friends who bothered to look? Or weren't there any men who came and asked you after what had happened?" Myungsoo wasn't quite sure if there was a police force here, but there had to be some way to keep this society organized, right?
@Myungsoo Minzy nodded in agreement,"I really don't like people like that, they should just get together and shoot at each other instead..." She mumbled and chuckled a little at the thought. Then she looked over at Myungsoo curiously, not entirely sure if his question was a serious one or not. "Eh? Of course i don't think I'm invincible, otherwise I wouldn't be so afraid of so many things... And I'm not stupid, I've felt pain before..." She answered, lightly letting her fingertips touch the burn mark on the palm of her free hand.
The girl blinked and looked down at their hands when she felt the male give hers a gentle squeeze. She realized how tightly she was gripping his hand and relaxed that grip so he would think she was okay now. Then her eyes widened slightly at his suggestions. Her curious mind did wish to explore and know what it was like to be a normal person again, but she just couldn't bring herself to do it. Minzy shook her head,"N-No.... People are too scary..." She mumbled and stepped closer to him like a little kid hiding behind their mother on the first day of school. "I-I stumbled into the city once and it was so scary there.... There were people everywhere and if i didn't keep moving then i would get pushed to the ground by someone and when i found quiet places where there weren't many people, the people that were there kept confusing me. They tried to get me to go places with them nicely but when i got there they wanted me to drink awful drinks that made me dizzy and made everything dark for a while. And just.... It was a painful time... I learned the importance of never letting anyone touch me.... But I guess i kinda am stupid because I already let you do so..." She mumbled quietly, slowly withdrawing her hand as she remembered the brief experience in the city. Minzy ran towards the ocean and quickly sat down in the sand, the tide coming close enough just to get her feet wet as she hugged her knees. "I don't think anyone found the big bad men.... No one went looking because no one but me knows about them... And no one is looking for me..." She said softly and lightly played with the water, making little bubbles float up and then popping them. Minzy sighed softly, trying to calm herself.
@Minzy "Hmph." Myungsoo seemed to snort, examining his fingers, muttering lightly to himself "Yes the people here sometimes aren't the smartest. They aim at whatever they see. But," Myungsoo tilted his head thoughtfully "I suppose everyone is like that at times. They let their skill get to their head. People here seemed to sometimes think that they are invincible." he eyed Minzy mock suspiciously "You aren't like that are you?"
It wasn't hard for Myungsoo to tell that he had struck a nerve. The smile on Minzy's face was one that he could see through easily. It was stiff, and while the girl's tone stayed light as she explained her story, her grip on Myungsoo's hand was iron. Gently, the boy gave her hand a reassuring squeeze before he spoke, hesitant and gentle "I think you've done very well on your own. But, did you ever think of going back into civilization? Meeting new people?" It was a weird thing to say, considered how Myungsoo himself had hidden himself from civilization too. But it was the best thing he could say now. "Oh and did anyone ever find those big bad men?" he added as an afterthought, hoping to find something that could ease Minzy out of her bad memories.
@Myungsoo The girl nodded slightly about this place being so dangerous, only half agreeing with him," Oh i hope no children live in or get lost in these woods... I know people go hunting quite often, I've been nearly killed on accident by them a few times when i first started exploring the place.... I was so lucky~" she said softly, biting her lip slightly at the thought of an innocent child getting shot at by idiot hunters. The girl pushed those thoughts away though as the ocean view filled her mind and she started admiring how outspoken Myungsoo was with her now, was this what real friendship was like? She liked it anyway.
Snapping out of it quickly with a small shake of her head, she practically slapped a smile on her face. Minzy smiled softly, it was always her defense mechanism. Whenever anything sad would come up, she would smile so that people wouldn't think it was really all that bad. She nodded,"I know this place very well, I live here, my home is over there, yet I'm always out and about during the daytime..." She answered softly, pointed to small, but sturdy hut she'd put together herself. Then she blinked twice when he asked her about being attacked, thinking briefly about it, but kept that light and positive attitude as always, pushing her true feelings down deep inside her. "Ne, big and scary men tried to kidnap me, maybe even try to kidnap me.... They said something about selling me, I dunno quite what their plans were but my powers kicked in before I could get too majorly hurt. I was fighting so much that they did try to knock me out... Eventually, smacked them hard in the face with a wall of water and ran off. Since I had no where to go, I kept running, and running until i met a dead end here. It wasn't a dead end though, it was the beginning of a new life, one where i'm all alone, but it's still an okay life, I somehow manage to survive everyday still." She told him quite, unconciously having taken a hold of his hand as she explained, gripping it a little tightly as if things really bothered her, but her tone and attitude still stayed light and bubbly.
@Minzy "That's the problem with this place." Myungsoo murmured nearly to himself as he continued to walk. Gradually, he had begun to relax and speak out much more than he usually did. Maybe it was because of this girl's attitude, but she seemed very different from the other people in this world. She seemed much calmer, quieter, someone Myungsoo could relate to. She also seemed to carry a burden in this world just like he did. Maybe in a different form though. "It's too...free." he grumbled softly "Someone could seriously get injured here." as the crossing between the forest and the beach were reached, Myungsoo unconsciously found his eyes were drawn to Minzy who seemed to have a peculiar expression on her face. "You know this place well?" he asked gently, tilting his head "Good memories?"
"Ah," Myungsoo let out a small embarrassed chuckle. "I suppose that's one of my weaknesses. Underestimating people I mean." The small chuckle that Myungsoo let out seemed to make him seem just a bit younger, his eyes twinkling a bit with youthful light. It was not something that came over Myungsoo often. Often he was a serious, quiet person. "Me? Strong? Well I guess you can call me that." Myungsoo tipped his head back, thinking "I trained for a very long time just so I could stand up to people who had an advantage, powerwise, over me so I suppose that helped. Mastering my power would make me stronger though." At Minzy's words, Myungsoo looked at her, brows furrowed in confusion "You were attacked?" as soon as the words escaped his mouth, the boy immediately snapped his mouth shut, looking the other direction, slightly ashamed. It wasn't polite to ask that question and considering the look on Minzy's face, it was quite a touchy subject. "You don't have to tell me if you don't want to." Myungsoo quickly followed up. It was just a way of telling her that he was sorry for prying, and that if it was something she didn't want to remember, she didn't have to.
OTL T^T I got carried away when making him a vampire hunter and everything and forgot you weren't allowing vampires right now. I'll take off the part vampire thing then and make him completely human although it would've been awesome for him to be part vampire/vampire hunter. Sorry for forgetting and causing trouble. >.< Sorry again.
