@Jaejoong Sang Gong winced inwardly sensing the cold tone in Jaejoong's voice, but shrugged at his question. "I'm not sure. Just, I feel like I can...'trust' you in a way almost." He answered simply rubbing the back of his neck. Normally he was cautious and careful around people he had just met, but for some reason Jaejoong felt like a guy he could open up to around and not hide who he was. "It's been a long time since I've encountered someone like you." A light grin managed to spread over his face.
@✹ Sang Gong ✹ "Okay... But I don't have any paper or pen on me." the shifter said with a shrug. "Yeah, I don't need anyone's money." he added coldly. Besides he didn't even need to pay in the first place, because the building was his after all, even though he wasn't going to tell him that. "Ah, really?" he asked half-jokingly hearing the boy's statement. "Different?" he mused a little, eyes roaming mindlessly over the people around. "Maybe." Perhaps it was true, and he didn't think that just because he was a half-breed panther. "Why do you think so?"
@Jaejoong "That'd be great if you could." Sang Gong said with a nod, blinking after he paid for his drinks. "Are you sure about that? ...Well if you say so." Jaejoong's question struck him though. Why did he sit beside him tonight? That was somewhat out of character for Sang Gong, who was always cautious and leery around those he had just met...but Jaejoong seemed 'different' unlike the other felines. "You know I'm still trying to figure that out," He responded simply after standing up from the bar stool. "You just seem 'different' compared to most people I've met. I have no idea otherwise." It seemed like that was going to be a question that didn't really have any answers to.
@✹ Sang Gong ✹ Jaejoong may have seemed far away to the other as he was not looking at the boy when he was speaking, seemingly not hearing his words, but he was listening nonetheless. He kind of wished trouble would find him too from time to time. "It finds you, huh? Nice." He responded, thinking if he should go home as well soon. Then, hearing the boy's question, he pondered if he should help him. They were potential enemies after all. But eventually he said why not and shrugged. "Yeah, there is one around here. Do you want me to write down the address for you?" the shifter asked, looking the other in the eye this time. "Pay for mine?" he scoffed. "No, boy, thanks, keep your money." this boy seemed too generous, and Jaejoong found it strange. Or maybe the feline was just suspicious of him. "Why did you come to sit here though? Knowing I am what I am. It seems to me that trouble has a reason for finding you." Jaejoong quirked an eyebrow in the werewolf's direction.
@Jaejoong Sang Gong shook his head pursing his lips a bit. "No I guess not...It's not that I go out looking for it, I suppose trouble just seems to find me." He chuckled sheepishly, rubbing the back of his neck unsure of where Jaejoong was going at with that. The bar was beginning to grow silent as people were starting to leave and Sang Gong figured perhaps he should be leaving as well, though he wasn't sure where to stay the night at. "Say do you know any hotels around here I could rent for the night? I'm not quite familiar with this city as I have said before." But before he was about to leave, the bartender glared at him demanding the other pay first. "O-Oh...Right almost forgot." He took his wallet out and looked over at Jaejoong. "Do you want me to pay for yours?"
@✹ Sang Gong ✹ Jaejoong inferred that the boy hadn't really drunk before. A half-hearted, barely visible smile adorned his lips just for a brief moment before disappearing as he remembered about how he was when he first reached the city. It wasn't melancholy or anything, only slight amusement. The shifter's eyes fell once again on the scar on the other's face for a little while, without a word. He gulped down the remaining drink in his glass, not responding to the question immediately. He wasn't hurrying and if the boy was... well, he didn't really care. "I live here." he eventually replied. "So, wandering around, you found this city, this club and this spot besides me." he added quietly. "After you had a fight with another feline. You didn't have enough trouble?" The man raised an eyebrow at him, even though he didn't necessarily mean to give him more trouble.
@Jaejoong Sang Gong had to chuckle at his remark about him being more polite instead of rude or hostile. He took another sip of the alcohol beverage, wincing a little as he felt it burn down his throat clearing it. "Whoa. That one was a bit strong compared to the last one ha ha...anyway: I got in a little scrap with some of your kind on my way here. Not a pleasent one mind you." He scowled remembering the one who gave him that scar, hoping to 'return' the favor next time if he ever came across them again. "So what brings you to this city? Are you a wanderer like me?" Sang Gong had little, to no memories of his human life so that's why he travelled on his own to hopefully try and get some answers as to how he became like this.
@✹ Sang Gong ✹ Jaejoong didn't really think much of it when the other took a seat right next to him. It didn't seem like the wolf meant any harm, but of course, he could never be sure of that, so he kept his guard up, even though maybe that wasn't really visible in his attitude. Jaejoong turned his head to look at the other creature, not taken aback by the question. "Yeah, I am a feline." he replied on a calm tone. The shifter raised an eyebrow at the apology that followed, and a half-hearted chuckle escaped him. "Hostile? That's what you call hostile? And I thought you were being polite, boy." he smiled a little, amused at the other's words. "Yeah, our kinds don't seem to be getting along. I know from my own experience." Jaejoong noticed the scar on the boy's face, inferring that it may have bee caused by other felines.
@Jaejoong Sang Gong simply nodded his head, placing himself next to Jaejoong on an empty bar stool beside him ordering himself another vodka. It was kind of 'awkward' you could say at first, due to some bad encounters he had with felines before but Jaejoong seemed 'different' compared to the others. Humming thoughtfully when his drink was finally prepared, he took a quick swig of it his lips before turning around to face the other. "...You're a feline aren't you?" Sang Gong said softly. "I apologize if I came across as hostile towards you, I've had some rather 'interesting' encounters let's say with your kind." There was a scar going across his left eye from a little fight he got into some weeks ago as he grinned sheepishly at the other.
@✹ Sang Gong ✹ The shifter turned his attention back on the lights dancing in his glass for the time being, not bothering to return the smile the unknown boy showed him. His eyes fell on the other again as he heard the question. Jaejoong remained silent for a few moments, head propped on his hand and look shifting to the empty spot beside him, staying there just for a little while before he responded. "Do as you wish." he shrugged, not looking at the boy, as if he already forgot about his presence there. He didn't though, and as he drank a bit from his beverage, he inspected him carefully.
@Jaejoong "Hmmm I thought so," Sang Gong muttered thoughtfully. Jaejoong really didn't appear to be like most feline's he had encountered on his travels. Noticing an empty spot beside him, feeling somewhat relaxed now and at ease he managed to muster up a smile over his face. "Mind if I join you? Or if not, I can just leave if you'd prefer." Sang Gong still kept his guard up of course, you could never be too careful these days. Not knowing when someone could turn on you in a matter of seconds. Sang Gong learned that the hard way multiple times unfortunately.
@✹ Sang Gong ✹ Jaejoong felt a pair of eyes watching him before that familiar scent became a tad clearer as the other walked closer to him. He turned his head in the respective person's direction as he heard a voice that seemed to be directed to him, and his eyes fell on the boy that had just spoken. He quirked his eyebrow as he scanned him quickly, and the corner of his mouth curled up in amusement for a second at the question asked before the serious expression from before took its place. "I highly doubt it, stranger." He highly doubted that someone who had seen him once would forgive him too easily, not necessarily because of his ego - even though it might have been boasted up slightly over the last years without him realizing - but before it usually happened like this. But the question coming from the other was obviously voiced out as a simple pretext for a further conversation, even though Jaejoong didn't know what a werewolf would possibly want from him.
@Jaejoong Sang Gong seemed to have sensed another as well, as he picked up what he assumed was the scent of a feline? His lips curled up in a light snarl before he looked around trying to figure out whom it could be as the nightclub was extremely packed tonight. Downing his glass of vodka, hissing at the burning sensation in his throat he carried on with trying to look for whoever it was. Just as he was about to head outside to look: His gaze landed upon an older male, arching an eyebrow as he got a closer look at the other male. "Excuse me," He began, walking closer to him. "Have we met each other before?" Just to start a conversation to get the other to say what he really was.
@✹ Sang Gong ✹ As he could be found most of the time when he was in the club and he was not singing on the stage, Jaejoong was, of course, at the bar, sipping on his drink, partially oblivious to the world around him. Putting the glass down, he watched how the multicolored lights danced playfully in rhythm with the music, reflected on the translucent surface and on the beverage he was savoring a few seconds ago. It was all something so different from the world he was born in, and the man wondered how he actually got used to it, to the city. He shrugged the thought off pretty quickly though; it was just normal, since he had been living there for a while. Taking another sip from his drink and putting the glass down once again, he realized that there was something different in the air, a scent that was not there previously. The smell wasn't unknown to him. He sniffed a little, just to be sure, and there was no doubt about what it was. With so many people around though, he couldn't realize which one the werewolf scent was coming from yet. But he was curious; he had met wolves before on the other side of the portal - and they weren't really friendly to him, maybe because he's a feline? - but he had never met one here, in the city.
Sang Gong had no idea how he stumbled in a place like this to be honest. One minute, he was wandering about in the forests of the Earth Kingdom and the next he found himself standing outside the entrance of a nightclub. Having never been to one of these before and after turning into his human form, the young human wandered in the area his curiosity getting the best of him. The music blared into his ears, making him cringe inwardly since he was a little sensitive to loud music, squeezing his way in between the dancing bodies towards the bar area. "Well," He muttered, trying not to step on anyone's feet as he made it to his destination. "Now I know what a club's like. Wonder what kind of drink I should get though?" There were many alcoholic beverages to choose from, so he settled on a strawberry vodka waiting for it to be prepared, he looked around curiously.
@Chen Jaejoong ignored the little insult coming from the other guy and continued to walk. He didn't think much of it when he heard the rumbling from up above, but he turned towards the other male confused when he heard his words. Without a words, he watched Chen taking the form of a giant bird and flew off, the noises hrting his ears. "I guess the fun ends here." He said to himself, turning his back from the brid that was further and further from him and walking by himself, not having made his mind where he would go now.
@Jaejoong Chen rolled his eyes as the other was talking, he wasn't really complaining when he had used the nickname earlier, though the situation was a bit different back then. Things felt strange now, and it was like the magic from before.. the way his fingers seemed to have gravitated towards the shifter was decreasing and he wasn't getting as distracted by him. As he other put his shades on he let out a loud snort.
"You kind of look like a douche like that." He commented, humor in his voice. He almost tripped on himself as the other started taking off, probably going towards the cafe they had talked about. That's when he heard a loud sound, coming rumbling from the dark clouds up above and as the first lighting struck he felt free. "Sorry sugarpuff, can't waste this opportunity. Take care." He said, the electricity going haywire inside his veins and he gave in to the feeling and he took off, turning in to bird mid-step before he flew up to join the clouds, his giant wings making ear-splitting noises and he felt that perhaps this was why he would never truly want to live as a human.. being a thunderbird was his true self after all. He didn't give the mysterious shifter another thought as he flew away, he figured that if fate wanted them to meet again.. they would.
@Chen "Yeah, let's go there." Jaejoong muttered as he turned to Chen, facing him again. "No, sugarpuff doesn't suit my taste, thank you very much." He bitterly retorted, frowning at Chen's grin. "Jaejoong's my name. Now you don't have any escuse to call me stupid names." Jaejoong put his shades back on despite the fact that it was almost pitch dark on the alley, except of a few street lights. Without a worning, he began to walk towards the cafe, and pretty fast, without looking back at Chen and, of crouse, without bothering to wait for him.
@Jaejoong Chen let himself sway a little on his feet, filling his cheeks with air and letting it out a second later. He had taken to staring at a sign no too far from where they were standing, easily reading the words on it despite it being very far away.
"So.. should we go there then?" He asked casually, he figured he could tone down his jokester personality just a bit, though he wasn't letting his guard down anymore. It had been kind of a reality check for the few moment that he had done so previously, he really couldn't trust anyone. Hell he hadn't even gotten around to ask the guy for his name, which was odd because he kept referring to him as sugarpuff when needed. "Hey.. uh.. what's your name? I figured you don't want me to call you sugarpuff? Or well.. if that suits your taste I don't mind." He said with a cheeky grin.
@Chen "Lame." Jaejoong muttered under his breath at the supposed joke the other told. He had stopped in the meantime, his back now turned to Chen and his hands tucked into his pocket. Why was he still sticking with him? Sure, he was entertaining, but he was also annoying as , and Jaejoong prefers getting bored than being pissed off. But he still couldn't stop his curiosity towards him. Who was he really? That prankster facade couldn't be all there is to him. He felt that thwy were similar in a way. Maybe that added to his curiosity. For a second there, Jaejoong fancied hacing him as a companion... then he scowled and shook his head quickly, almost imperceptibly. What the hell is he thinking?
"Yeah, there is once pretty close to my place, so I know it well." He responded, tucking away the thoughts from a few moment earlier.
@Jaejoong Chen raised an eyebrow and then dramatically crinkled his nose.
"Ew who would even drink coffee with sugar in it?" He said and chuckled a little afterwards, he was always the one who found his own jokes to be the most amusing. He noticed that other stepping away from him, right.. Chen was standing in his personal space after all. He made a duck face while he thought about it.
"There should be some coffee shop around here somewhere I guess. I don't really know though." He said shrugged, he decided that he didn't know this person well enough to invite him home, nor was he sure he could trust him.. no matter how much he wanted to. After all he had protected himself from feelings for too long to stop now, he was just curious about the other.. nothing more, at least that was what he constantly told himself.
@Chen Jaejoong didn't fail to notice the little change in the other guy caused by who knows what kind of thoughts he had. It was impossible for him ti find out why though, so he kept his cutiosity for himself.
The man snorted at his assumption - despite the fact that it was true - and nodded healfheartedly. "I'm not cold, don't worry. And I'm up to it as long as it doesn't have any sugar in it." Jaejoong ignored the teasing smile and turned away from him lightly, making a few slow steps just to not stand in front of that prankster anymore, meanwhile his tail disappearing. "Where shall we go then?"
@Jaejoong Chen pursed his lips a bit, he really wasn't sure if asking the guy out would be weird. Now of course he didn't mean asking out in the traditional sense, more like.. let's have a cup of coffee so I can figure out why I'm behaving like this. He did hesitate a bit, because that would mean going somewhere else, and he wasn't sure where he would take him. Home? or.. that other place. He paled a little that the thought had even entered his mind and he desperately tried to push the image away from him. As fast as it came it also disappeared and he was able to keep the panic attack from happening and he glanced at the other again.
"I drink coffee too." He said with a grin. "It must be pretty cold for you so.. you up for grabbing a cup?" He asked, the teasing smile ever so present on his lips, though it was a bit of a struggle but never the less he didn't let that show.
@Chen "Many wouldn't mind eating e, so it's not unusual." He retorted seeing the mischievousness residing in Chen's eyes. Jaejoong followed the other's movement with his look, mien devoid of any reaction to his touch. He just let him continue playing. The man was oblivious to the guy's unusual urge to be close to him and to touch him, only thinking of his endeavours as one of his jokes.
Seeing him relazed like that seemed to fit Chen in some way, but the ordinary words coming out of his mouth didn't fit the guy. He was much beyond ordinary.
Droplets of water were ouring down from their hair and clothes, and it was just now that Jaejoong felt a little cold. He didn't let it be seen by the other though. "I prefer alcohol, but yeah, I drink coffee too."
@Jaejoong Chen snorted, the other was really lame but in a rather amusing way.
"Mh, I'm glad, though I wouldn't mind eating you." He said jokingly, a mischievous glint in his eye as he eyed the spot he had previously bit the shifter. He let his fingers brush over where the mark would have been if the other was just a human. He let a tiny spark land on the spot and he watched in amusement as it danced lightly across the others pale skin. He looked up at him again, a relaxed smile on his lips. He knew that he wanted to stick around the other though, he didn't have the usual urge to run away and he just wanted to know what it was that made him feel that way. If it was the same reason why his fingers seemed to gravitate towards his skin. Or if he was just losing grip of himself. He would stick around to find out, because even if the other was just a shifter he was somewhat mysterious and fun to joke around with. The rain had now stopped completely and Chen was soaked to the bone. "Do you drink coffee?"
@Chen "Of course not. You probably would taste funny anyway, so I wouldn't eat you." It seemed like both of them put up their fronts once again, hiding between words that hadn't much of a meaning to either of them, just jokes and teasings.
Between all these, the man hoped that his new acquaintance wouldn't stop there and would try to figure him out completely. Because it was interesting after all and intriguing. Chen was still intriguing even after Jaejoong found out what kind of creature he was. He kind of seemed like him - just wearing a facade all the time and not trusting anyone - but Jaejoong couldn't know for sure, it could be just an impression. He had no way to know so soon after all.
Jaejoong stared him down, trying to guess what he would do next. Will he leave him? Will he stay and try to find out what was behind the lie?
@Jaejoong Chen rolled his eyes, the empty threats felt like kind of a front and he wasn't sure if he would ever get past it.
"Forgot I know how to fly?" He asked and raised his eyebrows, a taunting smile displayed on his lips, he was returning to his playful persona.. putting his guard up again since he really wasn't sure he could trust this guy. It was easier to deal with the disappointment if he didn't think about it so it was better for him to just laugh it off. He didn't back away however because he could tell the other wasn't really threatening him. He gazed at him again, he really wanted to know what he was hiding yet he just couldn't ask.. since that would mean he would let the other know he didn't believe him. And if this guy wanted Chen to believe he was just a shifter then Chen would let him. He didn't know what he was expecting after all. This was just some guy he met at a bar with a rad singing voice and an attractive face, maybe there wasn't really more to that and Chen should stop trying to figure him out.
@Chen Jaejoong could see the doubt in the other's gesture of narrowing his eyes. He was kind of unfair here, since Chen most likely told him everything regarding what he was. Watching him intently, he noticed how his head dropped, probably wanting to hide his thoughts from Jaejoong.
He chuckled halfheartedly and smirked a little. "Not lame. You'd be the lame one when all that remains of you are your feathers supposedly you met me in my panther form." He said, his tail coiling around Chen's legs slowly. He was obviously not speaking seriously. He had no reason to harm him.
@Jaejoong Chen narrowed his eyes as the other spoke, he sincerely doubted that the other was telling the truth. There was no way he would be this drawn to a shifter.. it had to be something the other was hiding. Which kind of hit him a bit, because he had revealed himself completely to the other. He let his gaze drop a bit, wanting to conceal any kind of expression his face could be showing. But if he wanted to lie then Chen was just going to let him, after all the other hadn't forced him into revealing what he was, he had done that willingly and he really had no right to think that the other would lie about his true identity. Even if he really couldn't really believe him. He raised his head up again, having controlled his expression now.
"Alright, well that's lame." He joked and playfully shoved the other a bit.
OTL T^T I got carried away when making him a vampire hunter and everything and forgot you weren't allowing vampires right now. I'll take off the part vampire thing then and make him completely human although it would've been awesome for him to be part vampire/vampire hunter. Sorry for forgetting and causing trouble. >.< Sorry again.
