this is not a yakuza only roleplay, it is more like city au but darker​​. city surrounding crimes involving yakuza and their business​​​​​. remember every yakuza/ex-yakuza has to have at least one tattoo so be sure to include it in your bio.

you can be a citizen, it wouldn't be as fun with yakuza only, would it be? and don't look down at citizens too much, they can be from innocent flower shop owners to owners of a nightclub where yakuza's would gather, you can be business man involved with yakuza's twisted ways, not all citizens are innocent but yes it gives you more choices who to be, it is city au, suit your muse.

you can be a policeman, from an officer to a detective and even more. yes, most likely it would be nice to have some good guys here, fighting for justice, yakuza doesn't always win, do they. there is a law for a reason but yes compared to the position they do have a way of using money to get away, you can be policeman bribed by them and leaking information but yes you can also be a detective collecting evidence for certain crimes or person, you can be dedicated police officer or even chef as far your muse goes.

and yes finally more about yakuza, there are three groups more about them bellow. you can be assassin, pet, hitman, guard, loan shark, you can even be a cook that makes meals for all the members and if you can think of anything more you can be (my brain just stopped working).

and yes each one of three groups has a head and 2nd in line. what is head? it is like head leader or one to become if you get to snatch that spot you can decide yourself if you want to be soon to be the head and your father is in charge etc. or maybe he died and you took his place. 2nd in line is the one who could take the head position after 1st one dies or it is given away, it can be brother, step-brother or a loyal yakuza who served the head the most. once you apply for that pm the head and decide on the plot idea you two should follow on that.
