Frozen Lake

Minah wandered up the mountain, not really looking for anyone, but hey, if she ran into her mate, yay for her. But no, she was just wandering around and taking in the sights. She eventually came across the frozen lake and sat down in the snow, pulling her jacket tighter around her. She looked out to the ice and sighed quietly, her mind going back to a conversation she had with Eunhyuk about her parents. She never really knew why they had left, yet she clung on to the hope that it was for a good reason and were out there looking for her. The seer pulled her hood up to keep her ears warmer, just barely being able to detect another presence nearby, but not thinking much of it.

@CL [MP] "And you said it won't happen again." Dara huffed again, "And now I have a fall for each year of my life." she jokes, brushing her blonde hair behind her ear. Taking her friend's outstretched hand, she pulls herself with the help of the ice wolf. "Maybe we could make a cushion and extra protection for me." she comments, brushing the ice from now-sore bottom. "Don't worry, my buttocks aren't frozen just yet."

Stretched out her arms, she side glances her friend. "So any tips for the impaired girl over here?" she demonstrates a weak glide, sliding on her right foot before nearly colliding with CL in the process. Grabbing the other's shoulders for support, she steadies herself until she was upright again. "Whew, that was close." she pretends to wipe sweat with her gloved hands, wiggling her frozen fingers as she did. "Hey, now thinking about it, did you happen to bring hot chocolate with you or?"

@CL [MP] "Mhm, you're lucky you're on good terms with me." She jokes, knowing how the other didn't have many friends within her pack. With her push generating more energy for her to move, Dara stumbles forward her skates sliding against the smooth ice. "Gee, thanks for your encouragement." She nods lightly, "But let's hope that won't happen."

"Twenty-five?" Dara huffed, readjusted her red scarf around her neck. "Dang, if I get a dollar for each time I fall, I could be rich." She sighs, stretching out her sore muscles. Trying again, with more optimistism, she slides on her skates only managing to successfully make three glides before making another tumble, landing flat on her .

@CL [MP] "Jeez, this /is/ really harder than it looks." the blonde-haired female commented, nearly slipping for the nth time during their skating expedition. At this point, Dara was only surprised she hadn't fallen flat on her face, considering her lack of sense of balance and terrible timing of clumsiness, it was a miracle she hadn't injured anything yet. Suddenly her skates crossed again, letting the clumsy wolf slip to her knees, only barely managing to bring up her gloved hands to stop from her face colliding into the ice.

"Please remind me again why I even allowed you to bring me out here?" she sighed, brushing the crushed ice from her knees and mittens, slowing getting to her feet with the help of her friend. "You know that my klutz nature comes at the most unnecessary times, and of course, my timing is impeccable." she pauses, reconsidering her word choice before changing her mind, "But if I fall on my face or injure anything, it's on you, k?" she points a gloved finger in her direction, sticking out her tongue in the process.

"So~" she dusts off her winter jacket, puffing out her chest in a failed attempt to look 'manly.' "How many times have I fallen so far?"

@CL [MP] Dara pouts lightly, "Awww, now I feel gulity for stealing you away from your own pack, shouldn't you hang around them more than with me?" Dara grins, suddenly enlightened with the idea of bugging her little brother. Not that she wanted to annoy him, but she was really curious to know how her brother was doing. "Then we shall!" she giggles lightly, tucking a strand of blonde hair behind her ear as she swings her arm around her friend's shoulders.

"But it might be hard to find him. He might be playing a game of hide-and-seek with us, so keep your eyes peeled."

@CL [MP] " Alright." She silently accepts CL's explanation for the lack of her participation with her pack with a short nod. She chuckles with realization, "You know, I think you hang out with me more than you do with your own pack!" She hops up to her feet suddenly, feeling recharged with energy as she popped her neck to the side. "Hey, how bout we go check on that lol rascal right now? Or do you just want to continue with practice?"

@CL [MP] Dara's eyes widened in surprise, "I-I didn't know t-that..." she stuttered, struggling to find words to form some sort of coherent sentence, "How can I melt water?" she seemed to question herself, looking down at her palms to search for some kind of answer. "M-maybe since Cheondung can control ice and I can control water and a little bit in between." she glances back at the ice-entrapped wolf and flushes, "Oh sorry about that." she waves off her hand, the movement causing the water to melt once again and retreat back.

"Talking about my baby," Dara continues, trying to change the topic as quickly as possible, "How's Thunder?"

@CL [MP] "That's right." Dara agrees instantly, a light chuckle escaping from her lips. "You'll be my reality check, and I'll make sure to keep your boat afloat." she grins at her own comment, her eyes crinkling in its natural eye smile. "And speaking of boats, maybe we should find another analogy instead." she chuckles yet again, tucking a loose strand of hair behind her ears.

"Yes!" she punches her fist in the air with victory, maybe this was actually a sign of her successfully breaking into the other's cold shell that she always kept up. "Mhm," she nods, the ends of her hair with a semi-blank look on her face. "Maybe we can try practicing our precognitive skills together then." she suggested softly, "So we can improve together?" she shrugs again, her fingers now tracing the icy clump that was left on the ground previously by the courtesy of her ice friend. She twirls her fingers once in the air, which finally successfully melted the icy substance, and with another sweeping gesture, the now liquid water draws looping arcs around the ice wolf. "Whoa." Dara stifled a soft gasp, as she just realized a new trick that she was capable of.

@CL [MP] "Still..." an almost inaudible sign escapes as she leans back, hugging her legs with her arms. As her gaze flicks back to CL, her eyes widen, "Omo, you're actually smiling?" she gasped in fake shock, "The world is ending!" she flailed her arms, ducking as if the worst thing could of possibly happened. It sure was rare to see a smile on the female's stoic features, in comparison to the happy-go-lucky girl that Sandara always was. "Nah, it's okay." Dara grins cheekily, "I suppose sometimes it's good to have someone to keep me on the ground, ya know?" she tilts her head to wink lightly at the other, "And if you don't keep me grounded, sure enough I'll be floating off with my extravagant thoughts."

"I feel ya." Dara answers, bobbing her head to agree with the other's statement of having not-so-clear visions. "It's practically the same with me and Luna. And despite our age gap, she has visions almost as easily as breathing while I'm over here struggling." Being one of the newer seers, it was of course natural for her to be the novice. But at least, her strength in her element powers were much stronger, at least, that was enough to boost her confidence. A slight pout painted over her smile as the liquid fell in a frozen heap on the ground. Dara wasn't at all fazed by the other's motives, but with the sweep of her hand, she melted the liquid -or at least tried to- before letting her wandering fingers rest in her lap. Another frown tugged her lips downwards, hearing the female's comment on nicknames. "Yeesh Rin, and you call me Dara all the time anyways." she gives a light shrug, this time her fingers playing with a small ringlet of hair. "I'm sure that a friend is better than no friend at all." she continues, pretending to look distracted by a non-existent knot within her blonde hair.

@CL [MP] Tossing a side glance at the female lying on the ground, she let out a light chuckle. To be honest, she was grateful, glad even, to receive a somewhat positive answer from the other. So hey, maybe a bit of sunshine was finally shining down on her newfound friend. "Oh, I see you're looking on the optimistic side of things now." she held up a thumb, grinning playfully, "But you're right, life is life. But you didn't have to put it so bluntly." she pouted slightly, faking a tear, gesturing with a finger as the imaginary tear rolled down her cheek.

"So anyways," she continues, putting her bright smile back on, "How's your visions going, Rin?" she felt it somewhat necessary to include her new nickname that she had just recently given to the other. As she waited for an answer, she swirled her finger in the air, a smile tugging up on her lips as the familiar liquid trailed after her hand, tracing the circular movements she had just drawn. It was an odd habit of hers, whenever she was bored she loved to play around with her ability, but with CL, the end result usually consisted of Rin cutting her off in mid-circle and the now frozen liquid to fall in an icy clump to the ground. The usual CL reaction.

@CL [MP] "So... how's life?" Dara mustered up enough courage to speak up, breaking the cold silence that surrounded the two isolated figures on the empty terrain. The blond-haired female took in a deep breath, filling her lungs with the crisp, frozen air in order to regain her energy. Brushing her bangs to the side, she flashes a quick smile in her friend's direction, "We've been at it for a good hour now, can we take a quick break?" she offered, rolling out her tired wrists as she popped her knuckles.

Regardless of their awkward frenemies status, Dara was confident enough to befriend the lone ice wolf, deciding that creating an enemy relationship with a mountain peak wolf won't be a smart idea if she would be frequently visiting the area for her brother's sake. And in the end, she had managed to gain just a sliver of the girl's trust. Without a second thought, she reached out to hug the other's shoulders, giving a quick side hug before sitting down on the tree stump nearby. "Mhm? You didn't answer my question yet."
