Rocky Mountain - The Rocky Mountain pack wasn't always known as the Rocky Mountain pack. Originally they were part of a much larger pack that covered all aspects of the element earth. They have always lived on the mountain, their other half branching off into the old forest. They were relatively friendly with everyone they came across, being more a pack to defend than to attack. However the peace in which they lived was ruined. A pack they had once had an alliance with them and attacked them, leading the pack to be split, scattered, and greatly reduced. The pack now is mainly made up of those with the rock and ground side of their element, with only an occasional wolf with powers of the plant kind. But with a rebuilt pack they are trying to continue on with their lives, though they will never forget what happened to them. They don't trust as easily now. And they know that somewhere out there the rest of their pack could still be around.

Mountain Forest - The Mountain Forest pack, just like their element, moved around a lot before finally settling on the mountain and in result gaining their name. Once they had found their new home, though, trouble stirred. A few of the elders and older male wolves of the pack started to fight for the power that the Alpha possessed. Each and every one of them had a different idea of how the pack should be ran and what the future should hold for them. None of their ideas agreed with those of the other's and thus, just like the element they control, a few of the wolves became unpredictable and dangerous. Small groups began to form and rebellions became more and more common, each group striving to make their 'leader' the Alpha. Uprisings became a common occurrence for the pack and peace was now a far off dream. Their first Alpha, the one who had led them to a place of safety, was killed and soon the pack saw frequent changes of leadership; various wolves fighting up the ranks. Eventually though, after generations of turmoil, the hot-blooded fight within them began to dwindle, the winds within them settling until finally they achieved peace. Life is usually calm for them now, though just like the air, it is easy for them to be stirred up once again.

Inner City - Originally the Inner City pack lived out in the desert with their brother pack, until their alpha decided he wanted something more for them, something better. So he took them to where the humans were. Unable to resign inside the city immediately, he took them underground. Beneath the pounding feet of the humans, the now known as Inner City pack thrived. However a problem arose when the sewer system that they called home was overrun by water, a serious flood had struck and it forced them to flee up above ground and into the city. Their numbers were dwindled, wolves having lost their lives in the flood, and in a panic they sought out somewhere new to settle. They came upon the territory of another pack, those now known as the Outer City pack, and the electric Alpha decided that he wanted the territory for his own pack. So a plan was made. They sought out the other pack, begging for aid and a place to stay for the night, which was happily granted. However, during the night the electric Alpha struck and killed the other Alpha, claiming his dominance and right over the land. The other pack, being leaderless and afraid were forced to flee or risk being slaughtered completely. And thus the Inner City pack found their place and their name. Over time and generations the wolves have changed some what, mellowing out and becoming more friendly to others. However they now contain a deep rooted fear of losing their home, and an intense hatred for the pack they tried to wipe out once before.

Dense Forest - Once a pack of rogue wolves, the Dense Forest pack used to wreak havoc leaving destruction in their wake wherever they roamed. Rarely caring for other wolves and packs, they continued to do as they pleased until the fateful day when the volcano that they lived upon erupted forcing them to flee to the densest part of the forest. Moving into a larger area helped to lessen the fights between pack members, the greater space between them being just the thing they needed. However it led to other fights occurring, these ones with other packs, especially their closest neighbours, the Forest Clearing Pack. The other pack was a friendly and peaceful pack, yet they possessed powers opposite to their own. And being a pack who doesn't take defeat easily, they tried countless times to take over the lands that Forest Clearing had claimed. They were unsuccessful every time, always being over powered by the water that the other pack wielded. This caused a deep rooted rivalry to build up between the packs, a rivalry that lasted generations. Now, however, that rivalry has all but vanished, their current Alpha having formed an alliance with the other pack. Though their ways and attitude has changed under the rule of their new and current Alpha, a lot of their traditions and their way of life is still the same as it was before.

Forest Clearing - The oldest pack out of them all, Forest Clearing has been around since long before any of the other packs joined the areas. They are well respected and are often seen as the heart of the wolf packs. If ever there is a multiple pack meeting called, it is usually held within the middle of the Forest Clearing territory, it being a safe place for all. They are peace keepers, they do not attack unless on the defence. They have been targeted many a time in the past by rogues and vicious packs wanting to up-heave and wipe out the pack with the noblest history of all the wolves. Though their history has been fraught with danger, they are still strong and still surviving. Nothing has managed to even dislodge them yet, not even the Dense Forest pack who are known to be fierce fighters. However there is some worry now concerning the Mountain Peak pack... if the other pack chose to attack them, they might not be able to hold them off as they did all the other packs before them. But until that time comes they will continue on living in peace and helping out all those in need that they come across.

Mountain Peak - One of the newer packs to the area, the Mountain Peak pack used to live on a higher mountain that was completely covered in snow. They lived there happily until they were hit by an avalanche. It devastated them, nearly wiping them out completely. The few survivors managed to find their way to a new area, a new mountain and set up home there instead. They are a ruthless pack, their survival being of utmost importance. Uncaring of any other pack and how their own actions might affect them. They do however seem to have an unspoken alliance with the Rocky Mountain pack. Due to the circumstances they live under they are a hard wearing pack, unafraid to lend a hand if strength is needed, but only to those they are friendly with. All others need to be wary of them for you never know what an ice wolf might do. Especially under the rule of their current Alpha, who rules with the pack's survival in mind. Never stray onto the mountain peak alone... for they do not take to trespassers well.

Outer City - The Outer City pack is an old pack, spanning generations upon generations of wolves. They used to live in the City until another pack tricked them, killing their alpha and forcing them to flee to the outskirts of the city. They have been in hiding ever since until this day, living in the shadows away from prying eyes. In their early years they were attacked frequently by hunters, sustaining heavy blows that nearly wiped them out. They took to the darkness for their survival, shrouding themselves so as to live peacefully and grow into the strong pack they are today. They have only started revealing themselves now because of an Alpha change. Illness was beginning to strike them but stubbornness kept them from seeking the aid outside of their pack. This resulted in the loss of their stubborn Alpha, his son taking up the position and leading the pack with the phrase 'We will not make the same mistakes as our ancestors'. There is one thing they won't budge on though, and that is their deep-rooted hatred for the Inner City pack.

Old Forest - The Old Forest pack is the other half of the Rocky Mountain pack. They are the ones with nature based earth powers. They were the half that was run off when the earth pack was attacked. Feeling like they were abandoned and left to fend for themselves by the other earth pack, they lived in great fear for a long time. They desperately searched for their pack members, trying to regroup and rise back up to strength. Once the new alpha felt that the pack was strong enough, they set out on a journey to return to their old homelands, to take back what is theirs and maybe demand some answers. They will not trust easily, caution and fear guiding their every move. They may have healed physically from the wounds inflicted upon them, but emotionally they are still scarred. Their hearts are split in two, there is anger and resentment for their other half for not coming to find them and help them, but they also long to be reunited again.

Sandy Desert - The Sandy Desert pack is the brother pack to the Inner City pack. Long ago, the two packs were one, being led by two brothers. One in charge of the electric half and the other by the metal half. They lived out in the desert, in extreme harsh conditions. They survived though, and everything was peaceful. That was until one of the brothers decided that he wanted something more for his pack, something better. He wanted them to live in comfort, to have everything they could possibly want at their immediate disposal. He wanted to live amongst the humans, in the city. This resulted in the two brothers fighting and ultimately the two halves of the pack splitting up. The Sandy Desert pack stayed where they were, living in the desert where the environment toughened them and made them strong enough to survive anything that might get thrown their way. They are hardy wolves and should never be underestimated.
