The River

@Mir [FC] Hyeri slept for only so long. She wasn't much of a sleeper anymore, and if she was it was on weekends, not week days. She awoke at 5 ish, getting up and turning on the stove to make herself some coffee. Yep, human coffee she got right from the Inner City pack's City! Seeatles best was really, truly, the best coffee she had even tasted. Much better than starbucks. It was warm, thicker, but yet just right with creamer. Not fake like starbucks. Though some days she didn't mind it, if she was in town at least.

FiIlling the room with the scent of brewing coffee beans, she became very excited about today. Today was the day she would go on a picnic with Mir, the mysterious but uniquely beautiful wolf she had met by the River. Her plan for the day was after some coffee, she would get changed and go out for a little run, then she would take a shower, have maybe a little breakfast, and then prepare welly for the picnic. She didn't know what he would bring, or if he would bring as much stuff as she was gonna, but either way, it would be more for them to eat! After she would probably paint, or go take some more pictures, say hi to her brother, whatever she could. It still seemed like an average day, just with a special meeting woven in.

A date. A special one because she would make a new friend. The coffee brewer beeped at her, in signal that it was ready, and she grabbed a mug out of the cupboard and poured herself some haven. "Mmmm" she said, even before rasing it to for tasting. She knew this day was just gonna be awesome.

@Mir [FC] Jia narrowed her eyes as Mir said he would be more careful next time making her slap his arm softly. He was five years older than her but acted like a kid and she couldn't resist being a mother to him even though anyone else would find it slightly odd. That was Mir's and Jia's relationship.

"There won't be a next time Mir!" she said "This is dangerous and you're in no position to get hurt!" she went on scolding softly again frowning.

"And of course I'd take care of you! You're like my son!" Jia shrieked "Probably going to force you to call my future kid brother or sister as well!" she went on smiling as she took another apple out for herself. "I'm starting to believe you do it on purpose so I can baby you!" she chuckled shaking her head softly.

@Mir [FC] She watched the door with seriousness, as if she even dared to blink something would pop out and she would miss it. Or it was like paranoia of a ghost coming out of the room, or a demon, and yes, it had it's demons that she didn't want to face.

She sat herself on the couch, which made her bob a little because of her weight on the rickody metal springs, creating little squeaking noises in the silence, but never did she once take her eyes off that forsaken door. She adjusted herself, as she watched the door, and wrapped the blanket around herself. She took her eyes off it to move her canves, but within seconds her stare was right back on it.

After a couple minutes of contemplating she chuckled at her childness, and ran a hand through her hair. She just took a couple breaths to calm her nerves, and then she closed her eyes and tried to think happy thoughts. She hummed a lullaby to herself and to the angels in the sky as she just let her voice flow through the emptiness of the cabin.

After a couple minutes, she hummed and laid down, and within the hour of night, she was put under her tiredness, and went off to a space of peace.

@Mir [FC] Hyeri took her thin brush and started outlining her sun with different rays and shades of warm colors, adding to the happy tingle it gave her to watch her work come to life. She had to back it big and beautiful, and she put all her effort into her swirling . She was a perfectionist.

She painted for 2 hours straight before seeing that it was getting later, and she put her paint brush down, her arms and hands covered by the rainbow. She got up off the couch, needing to walk and stretch. She yawned and walked to the kitchen, washing off her arms back to the milky silky color it was originally.

She then pulled her arm muscles, and walked to her bedroom. She stopped at the door, realizing she was half asleep and almost walked into the bedroom. The bedroom full of pain and memories. She took a step back, not wanting to get closer to it. She stared at it for a while before walking to the closet and grabbing herself a blanket

@Mir [FC] Hyeri sighed and nearly skipped all the way back to her little cabin near the FC dens. She grinned and hoped up past the first front step to the door before opening it and closing it. She was so proud of herself! She had made a friend! But he was so dreamy and unique. She felt almost embarrassed when she realized she was fangirling. Her cheeks flushed pink as she plopped herself down onto the couch.

She squealed a little and put a pillow in her face, so happy. Maybe she wasn't alone after all. I mean, her brother was wonderful company, but he had things to do to, and other than that she only had small interactions with other people, causing her to feel a little isolated.

She smiled and then stopped, scooting her canvas towards her and rolling up her sleeves before happily continuing on her sunrise painting.

@Mir [FC] Hyeri smiled and nodded. "O-okay..." she said and nodded, trying to hide her blush. "Okay...see you then!" she waved goodbye before running off into the trees, ready to head back to her house

@Mir [FC] Oh no, did he not know what a picnic was? Curse her and her human studies sometimes. I mean, for peters sake she did live in a cabin near the dens, but not the dens! She was going to explain, but it seemed like he would be happy to do it anyway.

Hyeri smiled and nodded, not wanting to make him feel embarrassed, because his cheeks told her that. She didn't go on any further. "Awesome, so, I will see you tommaorw then?" she said as she started heading out, very slowly backing up.

@Mir [FC] Hyeri smiled and nodded, thinking about what time would be good. "Hmm...do you wanna met at noon? I can prepare a picnic for us and we can have lunch." she smiled up at the other as he seemed very at ease with everything, making her feel more at ease

@Mir [FC] Hyeri nodded. soothed by his gently words. "Alright, cool" she said and let out a little laugh from her tension she had built on herself. "Awesome, so...when should we meet?" she said and played with her hands behind her back and she smiled up at him.

@Mir [FC] Hyeri smiled up at him, getting lost in his eyes that sparkled in the moons reflection in the river. She almost blushed because for a good couple minutes, they kept there pinkys and thumbs linked.

She almost flustered but gently pulled her hand back, breaking the breath taking contact from them. "So...it's getting late I guess." she didn't wanna leave him, she had only just met him! But she knew nights would be nights, only sometimes ment to be roamed. "Would you... like to meet back here and do something tomorrow?" she asked and tucked some hair behind her ear before somewhat shyly looking up at him.

Hyeri watched him, almost wanting to giggle at his funniness, but also the peace he gave her. She really hadn't met anyone like him, and she really, really liked him. His smile, the way he talked about life...it was amazing what mother nature can come up with.

She grinned and nodded. "I promise, cross my heart and hope to die, stick a needle in my eye, with a cake and whip cream and cherry on top, I promise." she burst into soft giggles at her childness.

Hyeri smiled and nodded vigorously. "That's all I want in return, you to be yourself." She looked into his eyes, catching his smug smile, but liking all his features.

Hyeri smiled and gently took his hand as there pinkys interwind. She put her other hand over his own that was linking her to him. "Then you go like...this." she gently took his thumb into her smooth pearl hand in the moonlight, putting it up and pushing it to meet with her thumb."Perfect." she said and smiled up at him.

@Mir [FC] Hyeri tilted her head to the right side, puzzlment on her face at first, as his cherry eyes told her another story, and maybe the way he looked at the ground like he was a younger boy being scolded. But she listened and then couldn't help but break into a smile. She giggled a light, gently giggle to him, just a sweet fairy kind of way, but not anoying at all. Like a soft light bell.

"There's no need for you to be nervous of that, or embarrassed by that, it's just me." She grinned and ruffled his soft hair. She wanted to ruffling it longer, tempted to run her pale soft fingers through it, as she wondered was it as soft as his eyes when he looked at her with thoughs beautiful hues. "And besides, I'm always gonna be here for you, always, 24/7, I promise." she smiled and held up her pinky to him. "Okay?"

She chuckled and shook her head. "Don't be sorry silly goose! It's okay to be you, and I'm very very greatful that you trust me like that. I promise, i won't let that trust be turned to waist." she grinned and nodded, but her last line was serious, as she really ment it. She couldn't wait for this friendship they had made to bloom.

@Mir [FC] Hyeri watched him softly as he tried to be strong. It almost made her giggle, but she just smiled at him, like a little kid with a secret. She brought him back gently into another hug, sighing gently into his warm body. "don't ever apologize for expressing what was needing to be expressed, okay?" she said with a happy smile on her face. She looked up at the moon and thanked it quickly for the day, closing her eyes against it's light, as if to soak it up.

She breathed him in a bit, liking his scent on her tongue and through her nose. It was quiet and soothing like the tree's in a evergreen forest, but it also held a strong scent or sense of the wind that carried her whenever she needed it. She also liked the gently dampness of water, making the scent weigh a little more but she enjoyed that. she loved the water after all.

She pulled back once again after a little bit, and grinned up at him."You seriously did amazingly. Don't be ashamed." She grinned and nodded her head at him.

@Mir [FC] Hyeri had felt him shift under her, slowly calming down. She smiled and hummed into his hair a bit more as she knew he was calming down. She rubbed his back and then gently pulled back, only to gently lift Mir's face to look at hers as she smiled gently to him, holding his face and wiping his remaining tears. She looked into his brown bear's fur for eyes, making her wanna wrap herself up in him again.

She bushed back his tears with her fingers, gently letting the salty water that seemed like it might've come from the sea slip down her elegant fingers, onto her hands gently, blending into her skin in no time."Is that a little better?" she asked gently and leaned forward, gently wipping his runny nose with her shirt again, like a mother and her child, but this was much more special, or at least that's what it seemed like for Hyeri.


"You did great, trust me." she said and smiled showing a little teeth with it, trying to get him to smile to.

@Mir [FC] Hyeri felt him shake harder, and slowly the noises came from his mouth, but it made her smile. It wasn't in a sickening way, it was just that she knew that he had bottled his feelings for who knows how long and now, he was giving all of it to Hyeri, just letting it go. She was glad that he could trust her, and she thought that there was a hope for her to trust him. She felt like this was all she needed. She had completed most of her life's goals, but she wasn't ready to die yet.

Hyeri didn't mind how late it was getting, though they were missing what she wanted to show him, she knew this is what he really needed, and she could show him another time. She hummed sweet nothings into his hair gently, to sooth him and make him feel comforte and love.

Soon the sun had passed it's day, and it's sister rose, only showing part of herself, as she now lite up the night. Her friends hung in the sky, and even though they were far, they were still her friends that surrounded her, and kept her company. Hyeri smiled and wanted ot reach up and hold a star in her hand, to just hold that ray of light. She smiled at the thought of what would happen. She liked the lights of the galaxy, as they lite her home every night, and comferted her during the hours when she couldn't sleep. Sometime she had wished she was the moon, so she could have friends like that. but she was quiet...lonly, though she would never say such a thing to the people she knows. That would be pathetic of her.

She just held this moment like she wanted ot hold a star, and she was going to hold it for as long as she could, in hope that it would someday shine again, and she hoped she could make that happen.

@Mir [FC] Hyeri felt the drops like hard rain that poured in slow motion onto her t-shirt's shoulder, soaking through a little. It was cool but so much was held behind it, as it was almost like mini weights on her shoudlers, but she didn't mind caring that weight for him. She held him as he was quiet, and kept rubbing his back. "That's it," she encouraged gently to him, talking softly into his hair.

They both stood there in the moist grass, and she held him as the sky seemed to slowly get dimmer as the afternoon was very, very slowly closing. The sky blushed at them, the sky's cheeks rosy pink, and Hyeri smiled up at it.

She closed her eyes and just let the wonderful moment happen, as the world around them went at least for a little at peace. She liked that and the thoughts of catching another star in her hand.

@Mir [FC] Hyeri watched and waited as the other seemed to be slightly pondering. His face shadowed as the breeze went through his sunset hair, making her smile gently at him, as the moment was so perfect. She wanted to take a picture, but how creepy would that be? Very, and she knew.

She watched his head go down as his hand trembled, like a rattle snakes end. She took it gently, feeling the soft smooth skins mix. She smiled and gently lead him step by step, off the stones that were holding them up from the waters smooth, elegant touch. She liked the feeling of holding hands with someone again. She didn't realize that that simple connection, right there, was something she had been longing for. Her face shadowed for a second as she thought about who had held her hand last, but she recovered it and took the other to the other side of the river.

She turned to him, still seeing how he was trembling. She smiled, as she had regonized the tough guy body gesture. She had seen it with her brother before. She smiled and gently walked to him, wrapping her arms around his tall frame. "It's okay try cry, remeber? That's an emotion every shares, and it shouldn't be held back when there's passion to it, which there is every time." she smiled, never talking in a way like that, but with him, she felt like she was in a whole new world, or they just teleported somewhere magical, like in a dream, and it was just the two of them, holding together. Gosh she could wait to paint when she got home.

She held him for a bit, wanting to be his support, offering her shoudler and everything for him. She rubbed his back gently in soothing circles.

@Mir [FC] The breeze gently blew across then, making the grass bend in waves and Hyeri's short hair blow all to one side. She looked up at Mir, seeing he still had anger, but at least it was less than before.

Hyeri didn't like Mir's words, they're negativity that they held so close to them. No, that was on top of them, like the grease of a meal, boiling from the bottom to the top. "No, don't say that.' she said, shaking her head. She completed the stepping stone walk, all the way till they were separated by one stone, that being that they just weren't on each others stone.

"Living and dieing for your pack is an honnerable thing. It means you give your life to something, a family, maybe not your first, and maybe it's hard to get used to, but trust me Mir, it's worth it."

"No...maybe it can't erase everyone's memories, but Mir..it's already here. You just have to come and see it. Here," she held out her hand to him. "I'll show you." she said gently, seeing if in his trust he would take it.

@Mir [FC] Hyeri immediately realized when his facial expression suddenly went from something calm, to a raging tornado. Her eyes widen, as she thought a vien or two was gonna pop out of his neck.

His words spit at her like venom, and she almost flinched but the pain of it, of just watching him get into such a mode she was now witnessing.

She waited for him to calm himself before answering very gently. "For the reason you just stated...anger, hurt, pain, loss. As living things we have emotions, just as the sky does, just as the earth does. All living things are born with emotions, weither it be calm and steady or a raging fire that engulfs everything. Emotions deside our everything. They deside our actions, our movements, and everyone ranges differently. It's sickening, sure, but it's how the world was made I guess." she said and looked down, rubbing her arm. This was a touchy subject, on both sides on the river it seemed.

They're was a pause where it was just quiet and Hyeri pushed her lips to one side, trying to figure out in her brain what to do now. "The world...can hurt, but...it also brings light, and happiness. We need to spread that." she wanted to say more, but she kept her lips sealed, as too much was too much. She shifted on her feet uneasily, and tried to calm herself down.

Hyeri saw him lean. "Wow! Don't do that!" she called out to him, almost having the nerve to go out there, and smack his head up like a scolding mother. She even gave a 'really?' look when he came up right once again.

Hyeri even questioned his question, not understanding. She shook her head gently and looked at him with slightly squinted eyes. "I don't understand what you mean." she said and watched him, now really thinking about the possibilities in her head.

Hearing his logic she understood where he came from, and yet frowned at the same time towards it. "How can you say that?" she had almost realized she said it out loud. "Oh, excuse me, but how can you be so quick to judge? Yes, packs are very important, and are very good to trust, but does that really mean to you that every other pack is not to be trusted, that they've got dirty suprises and secrets up there sleeves." her face was twisted up a little, as if she was smelling something she didn't wanna smell, and stinch that wasn't gonna go away for a bit. But she didn't stop there. "were all wolves, we all come from the same base of blood, just because they look different, speak different, or act different, doesn't mean they are cruel. And even if they are, like I said, it still doesn't give us a right to judge them based on such small factors. It's just a label, a name, not their story."

Hyeri shook her head. "Not everyone...Maybe it's something we want and long for, but does that make it easy? No, not for some people. Some people are too hurt or scared to make a commitment like that." she said as she watched him. He was taller up close, and she could almost reach him. She took a couple steps back to give him some space if he was gonna complete his crossing.

Hyeri flinched as she watched him step on the first stone. She wanted to reach out and grab him, but she was too far from him, though she did hold her arms out. "be careful!" she called out to him, getting a nervous over protective feeling rush through her.

Hyeri watched him, still werry of him slipping and hurting himself. Hyeri shook her head in response. "No. It's maybe that we don't trust others very well, that's how were made, unless your very lucky, then somehow you learn, at least one point in your life." she answered to him and nodded, watching his caution as he crossed. She wined a little everytime he jumped and tried to balance.

Hyeri listened to his words. This was especially intriguing to her. The way he said things, how poetic and unique he truly was. She watched him, almost in awe. No one ever spoke such the way he did, and it was like he was her new idol, a legend in a male form. 'Well it doesn't sometimes...' she thought, a little upset by the negativity she was having at the thought.

"We'll...I guess it's a little saddening, as everyone is doing there job, there a bit busy to...socialize. They're too tight up and some are tough, or play it that way to hide there pain, but no matter how people try, they don't get a good chance to bloom there hearts." she said, thinking about the truth, but how sad it was. "We should but...most people don't" she said and rubbed her arm a little, looking down before remebering about him and becoming panicked again. "Please, don't hurt yourself!" she called, bitting her lower a lip at the nerves of this guy.

Hyeri felt like she was also being studied under his gaze, and she decided to get lost in his features. His soft looking lips, the way his hair seemed fluffly to just the touch, like a tree from one of those book by Dr. Suss, a fluffla tree? she wasn't sure, but she thought it was a beautiful shade, kind of like the sunset. He was calm and cool, and she betted that if he was with other girls, they would be on him in seconds.

Hyeri was a bit curious and become cautious about the other male getting closer and closer to the bank. What was he doing? she wondered.

Hyeri didn't know how to react to his question. "I actually don't know...maybe because we're both new to each other?" she wasn't tottaly sure either, though she didn't know what it would be like to get close to him, to get a wiff of his scent. She watched him as he seemed like he was trying to get to her...why though?

Hyeri smile rose as the she caught the others body actions relaxing, his tight muscles un tensing. She was happy that she could reassure him that everything really was okay. She leaned against a tree and watched the other watching her.

She grinned happily at the compliment. "Thank you so much. Mir." she tried the cute but soothing name on her tounge. "Mir, that's a really nice name to." she smiled and nodded, getting used to that name with her, and she looked at his face, she knew she wasn't gonna forget it. She couldn't with that dreamy face. Wait...dreamy? No, she was not going there, though it wasn't a lie.

She turned her head a little, catching also is eyes narrowing to her and then the bank. "Is everything okay?" she asked and looked back at him, worriedly

Hyeri's chest gave out as she realized she was kind of, sort of holding her breath for the answer the other had givin her. She wouldn't know what to do if he was form another pack. She didn't like fighting, and the other was quite intimidating, she had to imdite to herself.

Hyeri's face lifted as she was more reassured now. That explained why the others pocket was wet. She smiled a little at how sweet and cute that was, to admire such a beautiful thing like the water like that, as to hold it. She loved the water to, and she was greatful now for having someone who might possibly understand how she felt about life.

"My names Hyeri, and yours?" she smiled and tilted her head gently to the right, keeping her hands relaxed behind her back as she watched him and his coolness.

@Mir [FC] Hyeri was suprised by the others skill and diffidently streaght as her eyes followed the pebble all the way to her and the bottom of the flowing river. She looked back up at him and nodded, smiling gently.

"And you?" she called over to him, tilting her head, noticing one of his pockets was wet. She watched him, studying him a little. IF he was...he had to be guardian right? Or did he take over Suho's place? or Xiumin's? They had had a lot of pack member leaving and that had saddend her slightly.

@Mir [FC] Hyeri was thinking about her brother, hoping he was safe, when she heard a voice, and her ears imidiatly percked up, ignoreing another passing fish. She nearly jumped as she spotted a tall, strong looking male on the other side of the river. She sighed in relif that she wasn't caught unwanted by another wolf, or maybe by a differnt pack, because she couldn't tell time when she was walking.

"Hi!" she waved and smiled at the other. 'Oh wait, was that a mistake? What if he is from another pack?' she looked around. She was 90% sure she was still in her packs territory, but the other seemed...intimidating. She desided she was safe across the lake and turned back to the male.

@Mir [FC] Hyeri was walking along the River, following the way it flowed, almost as if it was taking her to where ever it wanted to go, and she let it willingly. She smiled and just watched the water, the fish every once in a while, and she also made she she wouldn't step on anything that could make her slip and fall. She smiled and gently hummed, lost in her own thoughts as she didn't notice another wolf on the other side of the river.

look, I really have to go. I said I would meet a friend at her house in a couple hours. Thank you so much for your help. *hugs you*
