@Jonghyun [DF] Juliane really felt bad for the male; it seemed as if he had come all the way to the city for nothing. She pursed her lips, trying to think of someone who fit the background description of who he described. "Sorry... I don't really know anyone like that," she said sympathetically. She was nodding in understanding until he mentioned about something going on between the two city packs. She froze and glanced at her son worriedly. "Um--" she said, trying to catch the male before he walked off. "I'm really sorry if I'm going to bother you, but is it okay if you.. walk me to the complex where I live? I would be fine, but you know..." she trailed off, glancing toward the stroller. "I'm really sorry to bother you, and if you're busy, I can get home myself," she said, shaking her head, and turning to just go home herself instead, thinking that she was bothering the other wolf with her troubles.
@Jonghyun [DF] Juliane relaxed very slightly when the wolf moved back, but still kept her guard up. She blinked when he asked about his brother and thought about it. "No, not that I know of.." she said, shaking her head. "Sorry.. but then again, I've barely been out of the apartment, so I'm not completely sure... who's your family? I could ask him or her to see if they know," she suggested.
@Jonghyun [DF] Wanting to get out of the apartment for some fresh air, Juliane had decided to take Kitae to the library. It was risky, since he could start crying at any moment, but she figured she could handle it. She was browsing through one of her favorite books while her son napped in his stroller when she caught the scent of a foreign wolf. She froze and looked around as inconspicuously as possible. The healer located the wolf and kept glancing over at him, unsure of what he was going to do. She wheeled Kitae around so he wasn't facing the stranger, but jumped slightly when she heard his voice. Juliane bit her lip and turned a little. "What do you want?" She asked in hushed tones, her guard up.
@Rome [IC] The healer blinked at him for a moment before she thought about how she wanted the pictures. Once he asked if she just wanted him to bring them to her. "That would be nice, yeah," Juliane said with a smile. "I think it makes it slightly easier for both of us, yeah?"
@Rome [IC] Juliane blinked when he said he had taken some of her and grinned. "Sure~" she said, nodding. "I didn't catch those when I was looking through your pictures, so that will be cool to see." She appreciated really good photography, and she knew that Rome was exceptionally good with a camera, so she was more than willing to day yes to have some of his pictures.
@Rome [IC] Juliane smiled warmly at his thanks and scrolled through a couple more pictures. But she glanced up at him and noticed how nervous he was that she had his camera. She guessed it was natural; after all, what if she accidentally deleted his pictures? She took him biting his fist as her cue and handed the camera back to him. "They're amazing," she told him again with another warm smile.
@Rome [IC] Juliane smiled and nodded in reply that she meant it. She was really understanding of her pack mates and knew how much Rome loved to take pictures. She gently took the camera and looked it over a minute. "Yeah, I know how it works," she said, turning it on and pressing the button to see the pictures. She clicked through a few, a look of awe coming over her face. "Wow, these are really good~" she exclaimed softly, looking up at him.
@Rome [IC] Juliane nodded, just barely understanding what he meant. So she racked her brain to think of something else to talk about. "How is the picture taking going?" She asked gently, taking care not to sound like she was scolding or teasing him. "Can I see a couple of pictures? She added, gesturing to the camera he had.
@Rome [IC] Juliane nodded with a soft smile. "As a matter of fact, yeah.. Leo oppa and I decided on Joah if it's a girl and Kitae if it's a boy," she said almost proudly before finally picking up on his discomfort. "Are you okay? I'm not making you feel to weird with all the talk about me and the baby, right?" She asked, frowning slightly. The last thing she wanted to do was make hee pack mates feel uncomfortable around her.
@Rome [IC] Juliane nodded before thinking for a moment. "I wouldn't say I'm scared, per say.. I think I'm more worried about the labor and the aspect that I'll be taking care of another human being soon.." She gave a nod of confirmation after she said her answer, satisfied with it. "But I think the excitement of having a baby sort of overshadows the anxiety," she added thoughtfully, a hand placed upon her belly.
@Rome [IC] "You're doing fine," Juliane assured him, smiling warmly. "Don't stress too much about it." She closed the book and set it down next to her. "I'm due early January," she told him, looking down at her belly. "To be honest, I'm really excited," she added with another grin.
@Rome [IC] Juliane smiled when he held up the camera. She turned her head so she could keep looking at him while he moved and nodded. "Yeah, but it's a classic and I still like it," she said with a shrug. At his question though, she tilted her head in confusion. "What do you mean 'not being there'? And if you're talking about the alpha, beta, and delta, I highly doubt it," she told him softly, smiling gently. "I'll speak for Leo when I say he's not the type to get mad very easily without good reason.."
@Rome [IC] Juliane had sensed another wolf walk in somewhere, but didn't think anything of it. She had stopped reading the passage out loud and sort of tuned everything out when she heard the voice by her. She started a little, looking back behind her shoulder. "Oh, hey~" she said with a small smile. "To Kill A Mockingbird," she added in response to his question. "What are you up to? Wait, let me guess, taking pictures?" The healer grinned up at her pack mate and motioned to the camera he was holding.
Juliane was curled up in a window seat with a book propped up against the windowsill. She had used to be an avid reader, but she had just gotten too busy with life to visit the library. But since she knew her life was about to get even more hectic with a baby on the way, she figured that now was a good time as any to go back to the library and read. She smiled gently at a passage and started reading it out loud softly, so her unborn child could hear her voice and hopefully gain a love of reading from her as well.
@CL [MP] "Oh- good." Due to living in a forest for her entire life, knowledge on anything related to technology left her dumbfounded. "F-flames? Oh, I better not touch the computer then." she scoots her chair closer to the other, but a bit further from the library computer, leaning away almost as if the device was about ready to combust at any moment. "Really?" she peers over CL's shoulder, squinting to make out the small text on the screen.
Reading the jumbled mix of letters and numbers together she frowns, "Okay, I'm just going to go with what you say... Since I don't even understand what that even stands for..." she stands to read the nearby text on the bookshelf. "Non-fiction." she glances back at CL, "Do we need to go to the NF section, or the fiction section?"
@CL [MP] Dara's mouth formed an 'o', "Oh, right." she rubs the back of her neck sheepishly, "I'm totally not experienced with this technology." She moves over to allow the other to work her magic on the computer, "For a second there I thought that I had broken the computer or something~" she tugs over the seat from the computer seat beside her, sitting down beside Chaerin. "So could you research up a few books we could look for then?"
(( i apologize for the short reply, lacking in inspirational lately... ))
@CL [MP] "Sounds like a plan," Dara mumbles back, her fixed gaze on the seemingly endless line of bookshelves still in awe by the number of books it contained. Sparing a glance back at her friend's perfectly colored golden hair, she lets out another sigh. "How will we ever find it though? With my height, of the book happens to be on the top shelf, our chances of getting it will be avsoulte zero." Her lips jut out in a pout, scanning the library until she spots a computer nearby. "Want to try that?" She points out the device with the jerk of her thumb, walking over to the computer as she did. Grabbing the mouse she attempts to maneuver through the web browser's screen, only for an ad to pop up randomly on the monitor, making her jump back in fear. "Omo, what did I do?"
"Argh," Dara steps into the library, after the two had decided to go for new hairstyles and switching their hair color. But the end results were far from Dara had expected, her original golden blonde was now reduced to a white shade, making her seem more as an old haggard than her usual bright hairstyle. Dara pouts, scanning the oversized book shelves with a heavy sigh, she didn't expect the results to be so drastic, possibly accenting her real age with the strange choice of hair color. "Maybe we should just go to a hair salon instead," she suggests to her friend, gesturing vaguely at the endless row of books. "I don't think we'll be able to find the book we want within a day..."
I used to be here in the past (got kicked out due to inactivity) and it used to be one of the most active roleplays in RPR if I recall correctly.. It saddens to see that you're having difficult at the moment. I will keep you in mind if and when I come up with a new character, but for the time being I just want to wish you guys good luck in reviving the place! I remember having a lot of fun here in the past :)
