@Donghae (Ace Specialist) Kyuhyun nodded and proceeded to examine the injury as the question from Donghae kept echoing in his mind. 'How did you ever become a special?' That question always happened to be asked one way or another and the answer he gave just sounded like a recorder replaying whatever he said so many times before. "Like all the other specials the guidance scientist chooses the pretties. All I can say is I have everything that is the same in all the others except for a few differences." He bent down to the first aid kit and took out a pair of tweezers and laid out a piece of paper towel on the nearby table. "This might hurt a bit." Holding Donghae's hand with a strong grip, Kyuhyun removed one of the embedded pieces carefully and placed it on the paper towel. This went on for quite a while until there was none left.

He let go of the other's arm to get a fresh piece of gauze and some rubbing alcohol. It was definitely going to sting, but it's the most effective way to make sure nothing gets infected. "This is going to sting, but it's so that your wound wouldn't get infected to so please bare with it. Let me know if the pain is too much." Kyuhyun started to wipe the dried blood with the gauze that had a bit of alcohol soaked into it. He made sure he didn't touch the wounds yet and after he took a fresh piece and slowly and carefully dapped and wiped at the small gashes. Hisses of pain could be heard from Donghae, but the other would let him know if it was over the top.

Whatever Kyuhyun did, he was careful about it and especially treating wounds like these. How many of them hand he had to deal with on himself. As painful a memory they were, that he swore his body had scars, even though most had pretty much healed to show nothing but a faint red line if one looked closely enough, but he had learned to bandage simple injuries and first aid in general. Finishing off wiping all the blood and putting some healing ointment on to reduce swelling, Kyuhyun picked up the roll of bandages and started to wrap up the hand. He made sure to make sure the fingers were movable, but each finger and a thin layer of bandage on them. "Okay, this should do it. Just remember to change the bandage twice a day or three times if the blood soaks it up." Kyuhyun explained clearly as he started to clean up everything. Looking down at his blood covered hands made him grimace, but he shrugged and went to place the first aid kit back in the washroom and to wash his hands of the dried blood.

Now that Kyuhyun was alone in the washroom, he took a moment to dwell on the question once again. In truth, he had thought that maybe he was a mistake that the guidance scientist made. Though he never envied the other specials, cause he knew that his own appearance made it much easier to do his job, but he never felt he fit. Just a misfit trapped in a lions den. Family, friends, they meant nothing to Kyuhyun, not after having one back stab him. Now he wanted to just ask the guidance scientist why he made him with feelings deeper than the others, no matter what, Kyuhyun was not ashamed for being different. Snapping himself out of his depressing thoughts, he dried his hands and walked out with his poker face, picked up his laptop and strolled into the kitchen for another cup of coffee. He really needed it. Why he helped the ace specialist, it was something beyond him. Perhaps the other was his superior that is much stronger and more powerful. Kyuhyun sipped his caffeinated drink as he stared blankly at the laptop screen.

@Kyuhyun (Special) Donghae’s eyes narrowed and his lips pressed into a thin line as he stared hard at Kyuhyun. He knew that specials were considered a family, and they looked down on others that were not like themselves, but to show any emotion such as caring for another wasn’t something that was new to him, especially when it was from another special. He pulled his hand closer to himself, not quite sure how to react. “Um…” He hummed, at a loss for words since he wasn’t sure exactly how to respond.

“How did you ever become a special?” Donghae muttered, picking out the largest pieces of glass that were visible to him, and placing them on the chair beside him. He was rather curious looking, the other special that is. His voice was soothing and less demanding then the others, and he didn’t seem to have any animalistic characteristics that most had. Was he even a special? ‘must be a new prototype.’ Donghae thought to himself as looked at his still bloody hand and sighed.

After watching the other clean up his mess that he probably would have ordered some maid to attend to, Donghae came to the conclusion that he mind as well let the other clean it for him since he seemed trusting. But if the other so much as pushed something deeper or made the wrong move, he would tear the other’s head off in a split second. “ok, if you think you can do better, go for it.” Donghae muttered, lowering his hand towards Kyuhyun while watching his every movement like a cat eyeing a fish before capturing it and eating it alive.

He leaned backwards, biting his bottom lip and gnawing on it in pure anxiety to get it over with. “If you can’t get everything out, Don’t worry about it, I’m sure the guidance scientist will be happy to fix it along with experimenting on me all the more.” Donghae said in an annoyed tone. He wasn’t too thrilled about that to be in fact. As much as he loved the committee and all, they sure seemed to like trying new things; more than he was comfortable with anyways. But Donghae wasn’t going to question it. With a loud sighed, he opened his hand, facing it palm up while unknowingly holding in his breath, more anxious than every to have his hand back all to himself.

@Donghae (Ace Specialist) Kyuhyun calmly watched the other in slight amusement, and easily dodged the broken web cam that was thrown at him. True, he was suppose to go supervise the pretties, but really, it was his free time right now and he didn't have work for another three hours. Of course, most of that time was used for sleep, but it might be a wise decision to help with Donghae's injury. Holograms really can get on people's nerves as he had first hand experience with one and they just kept shutting down his laptop when he almost beat the final boss to get to the next level. Now, how frustrating was that?

Seeing as the Ace Specialist made no movement to fix the injury, Kyuhyun placed down his cup half-filled with coffee and made his way to the washroom to grab the first aid kit. Even if they are specials, they are still human and injuries like these still has a chance of getting infections. Kyuhyun made his way calmly to his fellow special and pulled a chair to sit in front Donghae and put the first aid kit by his feet. Taking out what he needed, he studied the injury on the other's hand and winced inwardly. The wound was definitely going to leave a few scars.

"Can you let me see your hand? I'll help you bandage it. It'll be hard to do it yourself with only one hand." Kyuhyun spoke up as he lifted his head to look at the other with all seriousness. Usually, he would try to avoid contact and even communication with the other specials that were around because from what he had heard with his own ears, they didn't like him. Why get himself into trouble when he knows he won't be accepted and end up getting bullied by them.

Kyuhyun waited patiently for Donghae to answer him as he relaxed into his chair. It wasn't like he didn't have time and as much as he was addicted to games, Kyuhyun plays more than enough overnight. Looking down, he noticed the pool of blood that was dripping from the other's hand. He got up to grab a cloth and came back to soak up as much of the blood as possible.

@Kyuhyun (Special) Donghae practically strangled the webcam with both his hands; growing quiet as he turned towards the other that was in the room. His eyes darkened considerably at the sight of another special. A few minutes earlier, it was so quiet Donghae could have swore on his life that he was the only one in the room. In fact, he knew for certain that if the other had dropped a pen in the other room, it would have captured Donghae’s attention immediately. But that was the beauty of being a special, wasn’t it? To be flawless in everything they did. To come in and do their tasks efficiently and quietly without ever letting another soul realize they were even present, and Donghae wasn’t sure whether this pissed him off more then the damned hologram at that exact moment.

“YOU THINK THIS IS MY FAULT?” He growled while ripping the web cam from its cords, exposing the bare wires as they sparkled and cracked with electricity; throwing it at the other special in his little fit of rage. “WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE? DON’T YOU HAVE PRETTIES TO GO WATCH. GET OUT” He commanded, ripping the computer’s keyboard from it’s plugs as well as he threw it violently across the room. “I WAS MINDING MY OWN BUSINESS…. AND THEY JUST…. UGH.”

Donghae closed his eyes and gritted his teeth while inhaling deeply. He probably would have chunked another thing at the special, but for the other’s luck, the computer was built into the wall, and the task of pulling it out would have been close to impossible. Hearing the same laughter echo throughout the entire room once more and making the lights fixture spark and flicker before returning to normal, Donghae nearly lost all traces of his sanity. “That’s it.” Donghae exhaled sharply as he sat down on the computer chair and stared at Kyuhyun with a blank expression, his hands held up to both sides of him, forming a stop motion.

“I’m going crazy. I can’t remember anything.” He spoke more to himself then to Kyuhyun, staring intensely at a random button on the other’s shirt. “What did I ever do to a hologram. I never even used technology before they started giving my ____. Does this one know me or something?” Donghae’s eyes softened as he bit his bottom lip and looked down at his hand that started to throb in pain. It was indeed covered in blood at this point and dripping onto the white carpet. As much as he hated admitting it, the other special was right, he probably should take care of it soon.

@Donghae (Ace Specialist) Kyuhyun stood at the pantry in the Special's Common area to make a cup of coffee and some food for a snack. He had just woke up from a nap and hadn't woken up until now and he had missed breakfast and lunch. Why and how did he sleep so long? It was simply due to a computer game - Starcraft - he couldn't get enough of and ended up pulling an all-nighter to gain levels and trying to defeat a big boss. Kyuhyun had developed this addiction for games and namely the one he played all night. It's probably not the best way to stay healthy, but he's surrounded by games day and night because his job is working at a gaming shop where they sell electronic gadgets: phones, tablets, game consoles, games, etc. He's actually pretty good at repairing damaged electronics.

Now, back to where he was at the pantry, sitting at the table and quietly sipping his coffee before he heard someone cursing and slammed the table. 'Well, someone seems to be angry. Must be the works of those holograms again.' Kyuhyun sighed and took one of the strawberries from the plate and popped them into his mouth while he started to resume his game of Starcraft before he had to go to work later.

A few minutes into his game, a loud smash resounded from the outside of the pantry followed by the yelling of the enraged person from before, Kyuhyun assumed. He was probably not going to be able to concentrate so he decided to see what happened and maybe he could somehow resolve it without being discriminated which usually led to a fight to protect his own pride. Not a pretty sight at all.

Kyuhyun walked out of the pantry with his laptop to the sight of the Ace Specialist screaming profanities at a web cam. It would have been a comedic scene if the other's hand wasn't dripping blood everywhere with some parts of the shattered computer screen embedded in his skin. "You should probably fix your hand first before you continue yelling. It looks quite painful." Kyuhyun voiced out nonchalantly in his baritone voice while leaning back against the wall sipping coffee. He did not want to provoke the angered man more and end up in the hospital again, so best to keep a distance for personal safety.

@Kyuhyun (Special) Donghae sat at one of the computers in the Special’s Common area simply because a certain hologram was having fun screwing up and causing his personally one at his apartment to start malfunctioning and shut off numerous amount of times during the day. He sat in utter silence; the only thing that could be heard was the clicking of the key board and the occasionally sound of a pop up box advertising something that he was uninterested it.

Why he was being targeted by holograms all of the sudden, was beyond his knowledge. He continued opening various pages, reading up on their programming and familiarizing himself with their habits. As soon as he typed in ‘How to deactivate a hologram’ His screen started to go fuzzy before turning multiple colors and then completely shutting down.

“____ THIS.” Donghae said in rage as he abruptly stood up and slammed his fists down on the table top, causing the desk to creak in disapproval. He eyed the computer with immediate hatred as he pushed the ‘on’ button and waited for the computer to start up. As soon as the screen lit up and Donghae entered his password to access his account once more, the screen blurred then shut off automatically, a slight chuckle could be heard fading from the computer speakers. “WHAT THE HELL?” He growled, slamming his fist into the computer screen and shattering it, not paying any attention to his bloodied hand as he grabbed the web cam and started yelling at it. “DO YOU THINK THAT’S FUNNY? HUH? YEAH, LAUGH YOUR ___ OFF ALL YOU WANT, BECAUSE ONCE I’M DONE, ALL YOU FILTHY LITTLE CREATURES WILL BE TERMINATED.”
