@Sen Mitsuji (P) Jeonghan had continued walking in silence with the meatheaded man, before the other simply spoke. His eyebrow raised and his jaw set. So the captain was judging him based on his attitude? “I believe my attitude was well deserved” He said, jutting his chin up as they walked. His mind wandering as they came upon a small shop that sold parasols. “Right in here.” He pointed inside and walked in with him, looking at the parasols, yet never losing sight of Sen.

“As for your name, I truly believed you would have a cut-throat name. One such like blackbeard or something of the sort.” He began looking, holding some and weighing them in his hand, while doing so he debated if he should tell meathead that he was a man indeed. “You know, thinking that women cannot have attitudes and comparing them to men is rather ist.” He said, pointing at Sen with one of the parasols. “Women are beautiful creatures. So much so that I compare them to roses. But just like roses, they have thorns that will leave you blind if they get close enough.” He continued to look, grinning at an almost identical parasol to the one that was broken. “Ah! Captain Sen, I want this one.” Looks to him. “And I’ll pardon your life.” Looks around a bit more. “And if you buy me another one…..I’ll make it worth your while” Smirks despite not really planning on following through with his offer.

@Yoon Jeonghan (R) To just run off and ditch this woman, that temptation was so high at the moment. Never in his life had a woman decided to boss him around, well except for his mother who he of course would never be able to see again. 'To leave or not to leave that is the question...' He thought to himself as he felt a rather annoyed expression paint over his face. Sen really didn't enjoy being around difficult women, but it seemed he had a woman who also enjoyed being difficult so say that he didn't care for difficult women would be untrue in that sense. The difference between these two though seemed to be miles difference, it was annoying since he would have rather been spending his evening with her, wooing her and trying to convince her once more to join him on his adventure to explore new worlds, places and of course so he could be with her more but he knew that wasn't going to be happening, well not for a few hours at least.
It was there he suddenly heard the woman ask for his name before of course mocking his crew causing the man roll his eyes but keep a rather annoyed smile on his lips as he spoke, " Sen... The name of this captain of misfits is Sen. I would ask your name Madame but it would appear I honestly do not care to know it." He shrugged, " maybe I'm over stepping my boundaries Madame but I do not care to know women who have the attitude of a man. " he stated as he twirled her broke parasol in his fingers as he glanced over at her. " do forgive my rudeness if it does come off that way, but I speak only what I see."

@Sen Mitsuji (P) Jeonghan looked unimpressed as the man began to spout about not being able to live with women but also not being able to kill them. The young royal was unsure of what to make of that before simply walking off and keeping the young man in tow. His strides were graceful and his hair swished from side to side. His eyes were planted forward into the streets. His eyes turned to the man as he asked about the parasol and Jeonghan could only scoff lightly. “Yes, a parasol. Get with the times, captain.” He continued walking, paying little mind to the man for a bit before piping up and speaking again.

“Don’t worry, I know of a place where they can fix it or even sell us a new one.” He said as they traveled the busy streets and towards a small shop that sold parasols. Once there, he paused and shot a look to the mongrel captain. “What’s your name, cap?” He asked, flipping his hair. “If only to know who leads the crew of misfits and who will keep his word to make up for their misdeeds and replace my damaged umbrella.” He gave him an expectant look, anyone else would have been frightened of the man and his actions, but Jeonghan held little fear of anything, mostly through trials he had been through not long ago.

@Jeonghan (R) Within seconds Sen felt as thought those woman might have desired the slap she had gotten with the attitude she was giving him after he basically called his dogs off her. After catching the parasol in his free hand, he slowly put his pistol away and looked at it. Ungrateful much? He thought to himself as he looked at this woman carefully. Not even a thank you? Nothing, just attitude and guiding his manhood didn't make this any better as raised a brow to the woman. " you're welcome." He stated calmly, " no need to thank me i understand i helped you but no no don't thank me really I know already how grateful you are Madame." He said as if he was trying to get her to stop thanking him with the thank yous she wasn't giving him. "Women... You can't live with em..." He paused as he walked over to the woman and stood beside her as he walked to face toward the market area. Slowly turning his head he looked down at the shorter woman and spoke, " and you can't kill em." He uttered before walking ahead of her with her parasol in hand as he looked up at the sky as he walked. Ridiculous absolutely ridiculous was what he looked right now. This woman was already annoying him with how she was speaking to him as if she was his captain, as if she were a queen or royalty of some sort. That was annoying enough but to then try and tell him what a 'real' man would do annoyed him even more. Was he really going to buy her a new one, well yes of course since he was a /real/ man but the temptation to ditch her was so high too. Sadly he could not and would not do that since if it were a certain woman he was thinking of right now, he would have carried her in his free arm and the parasol in the other, no questions asked. But this woman was not her, he was just trying to pretend like it was so he could at least not feel the urge to just shoot himself since now he had a splitting headache and it had only been two? Maybe four minutes of speaking with this woman and she already had him wanting to drown himself or drink sea water. " lead the way Madame. I don't have the slightest idea on where to buy one of these... Parasols?" He said as if questioning if that was what it was called. Sad but true Sen spend most of his time at sea so he really wasn't up to date on all these pointless objects women possessed

@Sen Mitsuji (P) Jeonghan was about to get smacked again when the sound of a shot being fired made him jump and open his eyes wide. The man he had seen approaching them had shot into the air and the men attacking him turned to call him captain, practically pissing their pants. Jeonghan didn’t know if to laugh or yell at them all, so instead he turned to his dress, fixing it and then moving to his hair before taking out his small pocket mirror to see his cheek, it was red and he almost snarled. That had marked him and he deserved the weight of the law over him! HE WANTED HIS HEAD ON A DAMN PIKE! His poor cheek, he thought as he rubbed it and tried dabbing more makeup on it, pausing only to look up as the captain threw the man to the ground and kicked him, telling him to get out of his sight.

Jeonghan gave the man running away a smirk before looking to the captain, his eyes narrowing. “Forgive him?” He asked in his androgynous tone. “How can I forgive him? He slapped me, grabbed my and look!” He threw his parasol at the captain to catch. “He broke my favorite parasol. If you ask me, that bullet should have gone through his head!” He huffed before being quiet and realizing the man had been too close. “Then again, my dress would have been ruined by the spray of blood. Good thing you didn’t shoot him.” He flipped his hair over his shoulder. “So, captain? How will you make up for what your men did to me?” He debated if he should tell the captain he was a man, but then again...It probably wouldn’t get him a new parasol. “I suggest you take me into town with your baby bearded face and pay for my parasol. Get it fixed or buy me a new one, I don’t care….But a /real/ man would make up for the lack of morality of his crew.” He hiked up his skirts. “Well?” He gave the captain an expectant look, waiting for an answer.

@Jeonghan (R) With the sight of the aurora in front of him, Sen could help but admire his own shop. Well not his ship but kind of his ship. He stole it so in a sense it was his, illegally his but his nonetheless. It was beautiful, owning his own ship, having his own crew and of course the power he had was all the more wonderful as well. He loved it all, surprisingly he enjoyed it when people feared him, a leader would prefer both. To be loved and feared but sadly those two emotions don't go together so at the end of the day a leader would rather be feared if he can not be bother feared and loved. It was strange but that was how it was. Fear meant you had power over people and that meant they would listen to you. " captain it seems a couple of your boys are bothering one of the women..." His right hand man mumbled to him as he signalled over to the little brawl that was going on.
" that in the hell..." He mumbled as he glanced over and saw the woman actually kicking their asses causing him to feel a bit embarrassed that those were his men, but it was then he saw one of them slap the 'woman' and that caused the man's once disappointed look to change to an enraged one. Seeing all this, seeing one of his men hit a woman of all the citizens around the port, and in front of the captain was a foolish action, it was foolish and now was going down. Slowly he placed one foot in front of the other as he heard the faint thud each time he took a step. Pulling out his gold engraved colonial pistol, Sen pointed the gun up in the air and shot it causing the near by people to scream and of course caused his men to freeze as they saw the smoke cloud slowly disappear and the displeased captain standing there as he blew the smoke away from the barrel of his gun. " Its funny... You boys decided to behave when someone waves a gun around..."He stated as he tapped his chin with the gun as he walked closer to the man and 'woman'. " I'm a fair man I think... I don't ask for much.. Just order... Structure... Discipline... Manners..." He stated as he grabbed the back of the man's head and yanked it back so he would be looking at the captain. "C-captain..." The man stuttered in fear as he looked at him, "I-I d-" it was there Sen stopped him and threw him to the ground and placed his foot over the man's chest. " I didn't know you were looking captain... I didn't see you... Does that make this okay? Does that make this behaviour acceptable?" He asked curiously before kicking the man in the ribs before stated coldly. " get the out of my sight before I use you as the anchor..." Within seconds the man managed to scramble to his feet and rush away from the captain as the other crew members looked at their captain as he then looked at the 'woman' " please forgive him, he doesn't know how to treat women properly... I assure you this won't happen again." Sen uttered calmly as he lifted his hat to look at the woman.

@Sen Mitsuji (P) Jeonghan walked along the port of Hesna, his eyes not only on the lovely visiting ships but also on the lovely visiting women. He held a parasol to cover himself from the sun and a bonnet to keep his hair in place. To everyone around him, he was nothing but a young woman taking a stroll and that had been his first mistake today. You see, as he walked around the port, some men began to follow him, whistling and throwing compliments….Disgusting compliments his way. He had to however grind his teeth to keep his silver bladed tongue to stab them through the heart.

It didn’t take long for him to snap out of his composure as one of the men in the group approached the prince and cornered him towards a post. Jeonghan’s eyes narrowed and he almost hissed as the man tried to gather him into his arms. His alcohol ridden breath causing him to choke back vomit as his fist shot out and punched the man in the gut. “You /ing/ mongrel! Who the /hell/ do you think you are!?” He hissed out as the man stumbled back holding his gut, his friends stopped laughing and some gave Jeonghan a curious look while the others simply scowled. Jeonghan closed his parasol and twirled it, smirking at them. “What? Didn’t think I could defend myself?” He heard one of them call him a and his nose flared. Who the did he think he was. “!? OH HO HO!” He pushed his dress sleeve up and readied his parasol, because he was shoving it where the sun didn’t shine for one of them and opening it. No one called him a and got away with it.

As one of them lunged towards him, intentions to grab him, Jeonghan smacked them across the face with his parasol before tripping them into the water. He then noticed the parasol snapped and hissed, so much for his up and opening it plan. “This was my favorite parasol! A gift from the empress.” He muttered in a sad but angry tone before yelping as another ran after him and he managed to shove him off the pier, however this caused another to grab onto him and slap him, a white flash of pain over his cheek. “Ack! HEY!” He yelled holding his cheek and looking back at him and the others helping the rest back up from the water. He really should stop going out without an , so would stop getting real. However the sight of a man in the background caught his attention and he frowned. “Damn it...Another one? Do you all just pop out of the woodwork!?”
[H] Kim Woobin (S) 9 years ago
@Kim Taeyeon (P) Woobin's mouth was open, teeth ready to sink in an apple when a dagger hit the red fruit in a sharp cut that threw it off his hand. The shot, worth a circus performance, had small cold sweat drops forming on his forehead just under his scalp. He gathered his spirit with a slow and painful gulp of his saliva for the risk he just exposed himself to. Living off like a bandit often rose the price of his snacks higher than his own life but it had been a while since Woobin had felt this threatened. But when he turned to face the dagger shooter, the ex-bandit couldn't help a moment of utter surprise, eyes round. Female pirate were rare, but the surprise was that he didn't even see her in the kitchen, he didn't /feel/ her presence; he, the womanizer.

"I'm letting go that snack I guess." The apple was on the floor anyway, keeping the dagger away for him to get closer to the woman. "I woke up in one of the cells and I can't even remember how I got there. All I know is: I have a job to attend to in the morning and I'll run faster if I eat something."
He tried his charming smile, and stood just on the other side of the table, looking at the woman.
"May I ask why a pretty hotshot like you is up in the dark on a ship?"
Kim Taeyeon (P) 9 years ago
@Kim Woobin (S) Taeyeon was sat down in one of the wood chairs of the kitchen, her body resting lazily on it and her legs, on top of one of the tables in front of her. She had nothing better to do than to sharpen one of her knives, a careless attitude though she was paying attention to everything around her indeed. She didn't like to do the night guard for two reasons: 1. She loved to sleep at night, it was one of her hobbies. 2. It was boring as hell; nothing interesting happened at those hours of night, just a few drunk men as much. But it looked like that night it would be different.
With her eyebrows raised, she saw how a guy she had never saw before - probably he was one of the new guys - entered the kitchen and approached one of the fruits basket. Before the guy could do any more movement, one of her knives flew and digged on the piece of fruit he was handing, stabbing to the table.
"What do you think you are doing?" She asked with a cold voice, still sitting on the same position
[H] Kim Woobin (S) 9 years ago
@Kim Taeyeon The floor was rocking and his head hurt like he should be dead already. Woobin easily remembered trying a few tricks at the port, losing like a beginner and getting smacked for it, then it was a black hole. The soldier struggled up, his head spinning: he had to get out of this boat before it would leave the coast, little did he know he was missing hours and the boat was nowhere near the land.
He stumbled against one heavy door on his way, which lead him to paradise, also referred as kitchen to those who didn't miss over three meals. Woobin forgot everything else and threw himself onto the fruits in the basket decorating one of the tables. He just needed some strength to think straight, and maybe if he wasn't running so low on vitamins, the soldier would have been a little more discreet and a little less humming in delight to the new found food.
[H] Kim Woobin (S) 9 years ago
@Lee Jongsuk (S) Jongsuk legitimately ordered one of his soldier to not steal and truthfully, it was a serious matter, soldiers got killed for mediocre thefts withing the order. Still, Woobin's eyes widened in complete awe: his ears captured the order as voiced and his brain translated it to a challenge to steal again and bear the punishment. All he wondered was what would the punishment be. Would he have to act like it hurts or like it bothers him while he's just indifferent or would it hurt and bother him so much he'd have to grit his teeth and show nothing? He was looking forward to locating the Commander's things.
He was very childish when it came to daring and and getting some attention for no reason at all -or so he told himself-, but he still felt older than the rest of the squad, Commander included. He didn't mean his words to be this soft and yet all he sounded like was as if he was worried about Jongsuk. He hated it as much as it troubled him. But at least the compliment wasn't received with an obvious joy, instead Jongsuk looked unused to worries. Maybe at some point he'd catch a sight of patronizingly cute -although absurd to his senses- Jongsuk: that would definitely make him laugh. No one took care of his since he was 12 and only using people who thought themselves superior to him in any possible way. From Woobin's perspective, it would only be funny to see the young Prince taking care of him, trying that is for if Woobin was in deep , anyone by his side was most-likely falling as well and the reconverted soldier just couldn't empathize enough to give warnings.

He watched Jongsuk, wondering if that juvenile pretty face with playful snatchy answers to his indecency somewhat changed the game with his title collection. And just as simple as that, Jongsuk extended his life expectancy. Opening up wasn't that bad and although he wouldn't do so often, Woobin considered they didn't owe each other anymore, his act in Hesna paying for the Ferric avoidance. For really, one for all and all for one in Ferric only meant everyone in his squad would die for Woobin. Those twisted boat rats might as well kill the whole squad but Woobin make him feel guilt and that sick plan could even work. He looked up at the mention of what Pirates might do to him, with his underwear and Woobin winced, frowning a little. Really Jongsuk was in between endlessly cute and hardcore trash, the mix of both screamt for Woobin to avoid at all cost: he was certainly an unleashed beast in the covers and a crazy of you ever brushed him the wrong way, an unleashed beast in everyday life. He kept teasing and Woobin wondered how long it would take before he'd shamelessly expect a Jongsuk in his blankets and a few disagreements to bury deep in secretive humps, his palm sealing the younger's plump lips neatly. He didn't even know what he'd gain back from this, with nothing blatantly expensive to get here in the wild. The soldier shivered, shaking the dirty thoughts away: a run back to Hesna would definitely freshen his ideas.

"Sir, yes sir." He said, meaning to reinstall the hierarchy now that they were to part. Was it how they would be: frankly speaking on confined spaces and distant im front of the rest of the squad? If so he had one reason to keep his real identity a secret from the soldiers.

(the end? :3)
Lee Jongsuk (S) [A] 9 years ago
@Kim Woobin (S) Jongsuk looked at Woobin and nodded then, tilting his head. “If I can trust you, I will. Just dont steal my things again.” And the moment he spoke it out loud he was way too sure that one of his things would be missing quite soon. He kept his eyes on the handsome, young man and hummed quietly. He didnt plan to die in vain or die at all – he had things to do, places to go, people to love. He wouldnt die like this, he wouldnt give up like this. He blinked surprised as Woobin said he was young too and that he did deserve a chance. He hadnt thought the other would say something like this but somehow it touched him. It felt awkward but warm.
“I do, but you too,” he said and hummed, stretching a bit to get rid of the awkward feeling. Usually only his family would say things like this to him. Most of the people here in this army were rough and had no empathy so the last time he had heard something like this had been quite a while ago. Being a commander meant he had a huge responsibility on his shoulders, he had to care for people, help them find their way, keep them safe but over all this he had completely forgotten that he, himself, was still not that old either, a young adult, barely grown up. He might be mature, yes, but he still liked pranks and fooling around. He still wasnt entirely grown up either. But that was something no one else needed to know.

Slowly Jongsuk nodded when he heard the other's words about Ferric. He was surprised he spoke but that was good, he welcomed it. He his lips and tilted his head – oh yes, bandits and pirates never got along too well so it was no surprise.
“We don't plan to go to Ferric anytime soon,” he said and hummed slightly. “Guess you had some fun there, mh? Fun and trouble. But I will make sure to keep you out of trouble for now. So, no Ferric for you.” He nodded to the other and hoped that there would be no reason to go to Ferric because he didnt want Woobin to lose his head for any price possible. He might had been a bandit but right now he was one of his soldiers, part of his squad and Jongsuk would make sure he was safe. Even if that would end up costing his life – but as he had said, he wouldnt die like that. So Woobin better stayed out of trouble.
“it might be that they wouldnt touch the squad but the squad would touch them. First of all they are pirates – and besides that you are part of this squad. We fight for each other, if you remember?” It had been one of the first lessons they had been taught. They were a team.
Jongsuk chuckled amused when Woobin mentioned the angry lovers. “Oh, keep away from them, they might put some stuff in your underwear.” He winked and laughed then, shaking his head amused.

Clearly Jongsuk could see that Woobin didnt expect his offer but he meant it like this. He was the youngest prince of Pyrope, yes, but besides that he had the freedom to do whatever he wanted. He didnt need to marry anyone, he could just be free and do whatever he wanted as long as it didnt damage the reputation of the castle. Jongsuk knew that his parents werent too happy to learn about his biuality but as long as he didnt everyone in this town they would be okay with it. Not happy but okay. Jongsuk was probably a lucky child.
He hummed and grinned slightly, showing his perfect teeth.
“Do so. You know where you can find me,” he said and got ready to leave. He knew that the other had something in mind, would go somewhere Jongsuk shouldnt follow him – wouldnt follow him. Hesna seemed to be a town Woobin knew where to go, a town in which Woobin seemed to be quite safe so he would let the other go and do whatever he wanted. It wasnt that Jongsuk was his babysitter – his commander, yes, but not his babysitter.
“Be back before everyone sleeps and the food is all gone. And make sure you dont end up in trouble.” He then nodded towards Woobin. “Oh, by the way: We sleep in the same tent.” With that he left the tent they had been in before and made his way to get some food. It was time to relax some now.
[H] Kim Woobin (S) 9 years ago
@Lee Jongsuk (S) He watched Jongsuk talk, giving away his honorable reasons and Woobin still couldn't tell if he was all big talks and no maturity in acts or just stupidly selfless. Either way he seemed like he was on the right way to die if he ever got ambushed again. Woobin knew that once the squad would be separated, it would be a game of cats and mouses and mouses would be on the menu for the next meal, Imperial army mouses, with the head of the Prince on top. Jongsuk made that choice of side so difficult after his suicide note: because obviously the bandits would not just ask for a ransom, they'd use each of the soldiers' execution as a statement and make the Prince their in those tunnels the army had no control over.
"I will stick with the mouses too. But the side I stay with doesn't die in vain, so if we ever get ambushed because of that prince among peasants just lend me your pin, I'll make the deals." If he hadn't stolen the pin beforehand to simply annoy the Commander. "You too are young. You too deserve a chance." There, payback for the /good job buddy/ was now served and the soldier felt somewhat better.

Woobin raised a brow and thought of those important information the Commander might wish he would know about him. He did have some, but looking up at his face, it felt just weird to speak of his weaknesses to that kid, to that noble blood when he swindled so many people with that same noble blood.
Soon enough Jongsuk was bound to find out anyway and it might help him survive if the Commander knows why he joined the army at all, how there's no going back to bandit life for him. "In Ferric, my head has a price. Turns out Pirates are a little more possessive than they seem with their land mermaids and with the wealth those ladies are supposed to guard." He had a small smirk at the souvenir. At least the noble women or men he swindled from didn't held grudge or simply appreciated the game, hos scams never made a fuss big enough to chase him out of town but the Pirates united. If the army looked like a clever choice at that time, Woobin feared he would be able to be muxh protected. It was a squad of young soldiers with a young Commander and they wouldn't make one pirate shake.
"I don't think the squad would be in danger though. It's just me they want." Or more precisely it was their treasures they wanted back. But he was to get thrown to the wolves if he was recognized, unlike Jongsuk who would just give himself up for the greater good.
"And maybe some angry lovers..." Definitely a bunch of slaps from angry lovers. He had the habit of disappearing when he was bored and some people were allergic to his volatility.

The Commander's reaction was the last he expected. Woobin raised a brow once again, realizing Jongsuk was serious. On his terms, he would legitimately give head and once Woobin had the mental image it was impossible to part from it or ignore it. If he did know how playful royals could be Jongsuk seemed different, he was certainly trying to make a difference in the army, incognito and yet valueing the lives of his soldiers. Turns out the Prince was both playful and concerned with public matters. Woobin didn't fool around if he wasn't getting something expensive or taking something expensive in return. Jongsuk, just here, had nothing he really wanted. But for a few minutes he caressed the idea of a blow, with that daring mouth of his and got down from the table.
"I'll keep that in mind."
He commented, looking closely at the Prince's face for a few seconds before moving on.
"I will grab a bite later." Woobin said, determined to disappear and get to one of his bandit friend. No matter how he'd pay him, he had to get information as to what the bandits knew of the Prince in the army.
Lee Jongsuk (S) [A] 9 years ago
@Kim Woobin (S) Jongsuk knew that there was more than just a simple 'Woobin had been or probably still was a bandit'. There was more. A story, a past, a life. Kim Woobin's life and Jongsuk knew that the other surely hadn't had it easy. Bandits never had it easy but this was the past and right now they were in the present and he was done with questioning the other anyways. He wouldnt blackmail him anyways – if Woobin was a or at least had been a bandit he obviously was one of the smart ones. Usually bandits were recognized quite fast when they tried to get into the army and if not they somehow showed themselves quite fast but that wasnt how Woobin was. The other was clever and Jongsuk was sure he already had a plan if anyone would blackmail him with whatever detail. Besides – he knew Woobin was a bandit but Woobin also knew he was a prince. So if he revealed him Woobin would reveal his secret and if Jongsuk was honest he didnt want anyone to know about his origin.

“Just... I need to know those information, you know? This time it worked pretty well, your plan.” Whatever Woobin had told them, Jongsuk still didnt want to know. Probably something about money or getting what they wanted in a different way – no, he really didnt really want to know. “But next time it might go wrong, horribly wrong. And I might be a snobby prince in the castle but here I am the Commander of a squad and it is my job to keep them safe. If you hadn't come up with your plan I would have gone with them. It's like being the captain of a ship – everyone gets out safe but you sink with your ship. I would have made sure my men got out safely while I would have gone with them. It's as easy as this.” He knew how dangerous bandits could be, he knew that they were not to play with but if that meant his squad got out safely and uninjured he would have gone with those bandits without hesitation. This might be reckless but Jongsuk knew his priorities. Keeping his squad alive, that was it. “That was no nice plan, I know. But rather that than getting those young soldiers killed. Some of them are barely eighteen, they have a lot to learn. They need a chance.” There would be enough opportunities to die but Jongsuk wouldnt give them one just because some idiots wanted ransom for his pretty head.

“And you are right. What matters is on what side you are now. So... are you on this side or are you just playing around?” This was important. What if Woobin simply wanted to get information. But then again he probably already had what he needed. He had been in the army for a while now and Jongsuk knew that many people trusted Woobin as he was clever and a fast thinker. He knew how to handle situations and even Jongsuk knew that he was lucky to have Woobin with him because otherwhise I would be with those s now. Thanks to Woobin he was safe.

A soft laugh left his lips and tilted his head amused.
“So you would like me to your balls?” He grinned and shook his head. Yes, he found Woobin amusing, he was fun to speak to even know but Jongsuk was sure sooner or later he would with his nerves. Because Woobin was stubborn and rebellious and liked to lie and that was something Jongsuk wasn't best in dealing with. But for now he could just relax, right?
“Well, I might. After you have a good bath and shave yourself. Nobody likes a mouth full of hair, right?” He winked, teasing him a bit. Jongsuk didn't really care if the one he was getting it on with was a girl or boy. He had always had a sweet spot for girls but boys were interesting and fascinating too so whoever got his attention, Jongsuk didnt chose my gender.
Right now he even meant his words. He might go on his knees for that stubborn idiot in front of him. He was handsome, smart and fun – if they werent on a mission that is. So maybe, if they had time and felt like fooling around and if Woobin was up for it – so why not? But right now not.
He reached forward and took his pin from Woobin.
“This is mine, handsome.” He winked and put the pin back on. “So, you hungry? I am sure they prepared some food. And I need to get something in my stomach.”
[H] Kim Woobin (S) 9 years ago
@Lee Jongsuk (S) Jongsuk was cute and Woobin didn't hold back a snicker when the

Commander promised to get on his knees to thank him. This was not

what Woobin implied but having him get on his knees but he wouldn't

comment further just yet: what kind of prince was so inclined to

considering peasants? But maybe did he Jongsuk as too emotional too

soon. The young Prince didn't just believe whatever he was saying

and belittled him to just being the bandits' friend. He led most of

those guys back in the days; he made the current leaders, but those

details he was not so eager to shake in the other's face.
He had a silent snicker and just looked away, deciding he'd agree

on that very incomplete version of what he was, as long as it

didn't make him too involved into spying missions he'd be just fine

after all.

Woobin's eyes went to the hands stretched out to him than back to

Jongsuk's face, his teasing face. It was one he hadn't seen yet. It was a dangerous game to be teasing a bandit and Woobin was sure Jongsuk knew that; his nerve wasn't especially blatant but the Prince looked a lot more playful to him now. His eyes widened shortly at Jongsuk's request to trust him, as if he worried to be revealed. He was quite the good fighter and slowly but surely, he had his intel about each soldier of the squad, means to blackmail if it was ever needed, means to break them. It was not part of a plan, but it was part of him: Woobin just had to know those little fact, he didn't know how to get to know someone or trust them without holding something on them. Really there wasn't much he feared from the rest of the squad finding out. They'd eventually know and it wouldn't be so bad for his reputation. Now Jongsuk was still a mystery and the Royalty card seemed pretty weak to use just yet.

"You all are bound to hear of what I was anyway, there's not much I can hide or I'd have to kill a bunch of people throught cities. All matters is what side I'm on right now." He offered a reassuring smile, tilting his head to the side. Soon enough his smile turned in a small grin, watching the Commander get back up on his feet. Finally his mocking didn't leave Woobin much choice, he couldn't spare him a word about his innocence. "Be careful when you accept getting on your knees so easily, out of your palace, if you're on your knees it's not just to talk."
He produced the Commander pin for obviously, responsibilities was the least he seeked.
"Instead of keeping my identity secret, why would you expose yourself so easily in the army? Really, if I didn't jump in, what would have been his Majesty's plan?"
Really he almost needed the explanation;as much as he needed this squad to be heading somewhere, led by someone who deserved the title of Commander and noit just some whimsical kid looking for action.
Lee Jongsuk (S) [A] 9 years ago
@Kim Woobin (S) “I will kneel in front of you and thank you for saving all our asses but first I want answers,” Jongsuk said and looked at the other one, frowning. He meant what he said, he would kneel down and thank him but first he needed answers. Woobin was hiding things and something... something made Jongsuk itchy, as if there was something he should remember. Something important. “Because this royal tooshie is your damn Commander so speak.” He crossed the arms in front of his chest. He didnt like being degraded to his royalty – yes, he was a prince but here he was a Commander. He was a commander not because he had got it due to his status but because he had worked for it. Hard, for years. This was what he had achieved on his own. He might have a pretty face and was quite tall but he was not here for looking handsome, he was a soldier of Pyrope – one of the best. Oh yes, the pride the pride. He really was a proud man.

He frowned when he heard Woobin speak and then, finally, he remembered where he had seen him. It had been a few years, a while ago, and it had been quite dark – it was a surprised that Jongsuk didnt remember him earlier. How could he forget such a person, such a face? He snorted when he heard the other's story.
“Oh come on, don't tell me goodnight stories,” he said and looked at the other, tilting his head. “You sure I believe like this?” He shook his head – somehow he found it hilarious. Woobin trying to his way through this, trying to make it out without telling the truth. And if Jongsuk was a bit more stupid he'd believe him but he was smart enough to know that Woobin was lying when he opened his lips.

“You took my pin because you heard rumors of them trying to kidnap a prince and getting money – because you are – or well, hopefully were – a bandit yourself. That is why,” he said and smirked, leaning back a bit. “You surely know them all, they are either your friends or your enemies. But to tell from the expression on your face beforehand... you knew them. Pretty many of them.”
He tilted his head and looked up at Woobin, hoping to get a good reaction from the boy. He tilted his head, remembering how he had met Woobin when he had fooled around with one of his older sisters. Jongsuk had always been a curious kid but he hadn't noticed Woobin right before he had left the castle, taking some expensive gold statue with him. Jongsuk hadnt even tried stopping him. The castle was full of expensive stuff they did not need at all. So even though that man was stealing Jongsuk didnt mind it. He probably needed it more than his family did. Besides that he had made his sisters laugh and most of them werent laughing a lot – not because they werent happy, they had a good life. But they wanted to look mature and well-behaved around everyone.

He tilted his head and his lips, looking at the slightly taller guy. “Guess I had enough to say, mh?” he said and this time he was the teasing one.
He held his hand out again, waiting for Woobin to give him the pin back.
“Guess we both have our secrets, huh? You are a bandit and I am a prince,” he kept his eyes on the other. “Just that they wont kill me for being a prince but they might kick your pretty bad for being a bandit.” But he wouldnt tattletale. No matter what, he wouldnt. Woobin was a squad member of his, he saved his life, the lives of his squad members – he was a good man. He wouldnt go and tell.

For a few moments he stayed quiet before he looked at Woobin again.
“I wont tell, you are safe with me.” He had his answers even though Woobin hadnt personally answered any of them – well, somehow he had, he had just not used words. Jongsuk didnt think long and then simply knelt down in front of him and bowed – he had told Woobin he'd do this when he had his answers.
“Thank you for saving my soldiers and my life,” he said and looked up at Woobin. “It was smart, you are fast in reacting and even though you have a bad past, it helped us.” He wondered what Woobin had told them but then again he didnt really wanted to know. It probably had something to do with him and he didnt want to be angry for no reason. He had saved him anyways no matter what they had told the bandits.
“Good job, buddy,” he then said in a mocking way and getting up. Woobin might think he was a prince but here he was a soldier, a commander and his family was only a family and not what made him. He somehow found Woobin interesting, fascinating. He would keep an eye on him.

(Ohhhh I liked your reply a lot x3 and it isnt short, it was quiet a lot x3)

@Lee Jongsuk (S) Woobin was pulled out of his thoughts by the inquiries of the Commander. His lips curled faintly and for once he realized he wasn't even eager to parade with his past. He barely considered the hand stretched out to him and when he had no plan of stealing the pin, Woobin decided he'd hold onto it some more. He had at least deserved it. They reached the camp and he could only raise a brow at how grateful Jongsuk was to the rest of the soldiers. His blank stare went from the Commander to the group of soldiers and back to the Commander: was it all? After the act he had pulled he wouldn't get praised at all? That was far from right and suddenly the pin belonged just fine in his pocket. He held his hands in his back and walked along as he was urged into a tent with the Commander. He was usually the cheerful party, almost tpo cheerful in serious situations. He nagged everyone for no reasons and curiously he respected the Commander enough to wait for them to be isolated before he spoke up.

"I don't think I really need to speak right now. But if you're bowing for the men's exemplary behavior, you should get on your knees for me: I saved the men, your Royal tooshie, and a lot of money owned by your family." He smirked and propped himself on a table, watching the Commander boldly. He wouldn't go so far normally but he felt like he stuck his neck out for nearly nothing but questions. Truth was he stuck the Prince's neck out without him know which seemed pretty miraculous as long as the interested didn't know but that trick would backfire someday and Woobin just hoped he wouldn't be close by to face it. Empathy was not his strongest asset and Woobin just couldn't feel sorry for consequences. The important part was that he saved the day, period.

Also, he could watch Jongsuk as long as he could, he was sure he saw him more than once and he remembered the man distinctly. Maybe he had lied about his being the only handsome man for truly he had found him pretty enough to remember his face. Why was it not reciprocal? He was just slightly hurt in his pride of a bachelor for keeping in mind a pretty face and being totally ignored and forgotten.

"I know about you, because I see things. Sometimes I..." he inhaled deeply and looked down to the carpet for his act, once again, had to be on point. "I see things that were, that are... And sometimes even things that have not happened yet." He had done all kinds of jobs to swindle and earn a living and he loved this one by far. He used to go from region to region, barechest, a huge turban tied on his head and walked barefoot, reading the lines of the hands, playing cards and reaching for interpretations. Weirdly when the clients slept with him, their future got a little brighter in the crystal ball and his talent was reknown under one of his aliases.
"I saw your future when I stumbled against you and so I took your pin and spared you quite the humiliation. If you just knew how much you owe me right now."

His grin got wider, his confidence blew in his nostrils so freshly he could feel his own own lungs from the inside, he could as well be hovering over the ground. Nothing felt more good than a little fake story and he hoped Jongsuk wouldn't have a good proof to throw his spirit to the ground. Not that he didn't have another story to cover up if it didn't work out.
"As to what I whispered..." he bent forward, suddenly very serious, "into their sinful ears," he chuckled shortly, "Well I know stuff about them. I was in this town once. I know them all."
This could jeopardize his little implication in the army, evolving from a random soldier to the rank of a spy, giving up Intel about bandits hideouts and such but it was obvious he knew most of them already. How tenacious would the Commander be to him?

He pulled the pin out of his pocked and started playing with it, sitting back on the table.
"So don't /you/ have something to say to me now?"
Yes, he was addressing a Prince, but in this whole camp, who else knew their true identities? And maybe Woobin just wanted to bug the young man he had seen many times and never talked to, maybe was he finally able to a little, test him and get to know the true will behind his choices of life.

(( it's short, I'm sorry, I hope it's okay. Also Woobin is being a little bold, testing him..))
Lee Jongsuk (S) [A] 9 years ago
@Kim Woobin (S) Jongsuk had almost gripped Woobin's shirt to hold him back – what was this idiot doing? But he had decided to trust him so he just stood there, his body tense and he almost held his breath. He his dry lips while he listened to the other male's words, frowning upon some. He seemed to know them but right now it was a good thing because the man obviously saved their asses. He snorted inaudibly when Woobin mentioned that he was the only handsome person. Really? Did he have to do this? Like, for real! He only looked average – or that was what Jongsuk wanted to tell himself. Broken pride and such.
They followed Woobin and he let one of the soldiers from Hesna take the lead to show them where to go while he walked slow so he ended up at the end up the squad.
How had they gotten away so easily? He had noticed that Woobin said something to the leader of the bandits and he would surely get to know what Woobin ing said.

His eyes wandered to the man before he held his hand out, asking for his pin.
“I think you have something that belongs to me.” He was still surprised – how did Woobin know he was the prince? Usually only a few, well-picked people knew his real origin but for the others he was simply a Commander, a good soldier, a great addition to the Army. He spoke low and quiet but he made sure Woobin heard his voice: “How did you know?” He was almost sure that most of the other soldiers still didnt get it, still couldnt tell that he was the prince but a few surely did. He chewed on his bottom lip while he walked slowly, looking back from time to time but the bandits obviously had decided to let them go. Even though Woobin had saved his there were things he needed to know. Things that he had to take in consideration if Woobin wanted to stay in the Army – which he probably wanted.
They reached the camp before Woobin was able to reply or give him his pin back and he nodded to his squad. “Just rest some time. You did a great job,” he said and even bowed – usually they bowed to him but they had reacted perfectly so he was the one showing them some respect. Jongsuk knew his manners. He then took Woobin by his shoulder and dragged him to one of the tents, closing the fabric door behind them.
“I think you need to tell me some things, don't you?”

Jongsuk was quite torn right now. Woobin had saved them, yes, but he had also kept some important information away from them. Whoever was joining the army had to tell what sins they had done, had to tell them about their past. But Jongsuk, who was supposed to know everything about his squad, didnt know a thing. And besides that Woobin had stolen his pin – which meant he had known something. He frowned and looked at Woobin, tilting his head.
“Wanna speak?”
Afterwards he would definitely thank Woobin because he deserved it. He had not only saved his life but also the lives of the other soldiers and to Jongsuk they were more important than his own life. To others he might seem like an arrogant prince that valued his life more than someone else's but he didnt. He would die for his squad and the citizens he served for. And he was very very grateful to Woobin for saving their asses – but right now he needed to hear what Woobin had to tell him. Which was probably not much considering Woobin's usual behavior. Jongsuk would still try it, everyone was worth a try.

(thank you but yours was better x3)
[H] Kim Woobin (S) 9 years ago
@Lee Jongsuk (S) Woobin felt the nudge back and just as easy, he felt a little more comfortable. He was maybe going to get scolded at some point but he saved the Commander from a pretty uneasy situation there. Now it was all up to him. He didn't give the bandits what they wanted right away, his fingers wordking on the pin. Well there was two way possible to hande the situation. Woobin could just hide the pin and step forward to destroy the bandits' hope to see any Prince nearby, just because his word used to have value to those guys he nearly raised or beated up whenever he had to prove he was the best. But of course that was too mainstream. If the army took him to his place, he had to be a royalty, all over again.

Woobin walked forward, wearing the commander's pin with almost too much confidence and putting on a show worthy of the best ranks of the army.
"Did someone ask for my royal head?"
His face was stoke with a thin content smile as he looked at each of the bandit, one by one, recognizing them all. Most of them nearly smiled, welcoming his cowardish all so easily. Well he didn't have to charm them much anymore. A few others, those he'd count as endless rivals or partners looked rather unimpressed by his total change of suit. Maybe had he played too many roles, maybe they actually believed he could swindle his way into the army to get to big money, also known as the wanted Royal family member.
"I'm the Commander and I know you all think of me as a royalty in here, but was this huge trap really necessary?" He chuckled. "You kids never learn. For your information, the royals don't like it in Hesna: too poor, too filthy and really, you guys don't raise the level. And admit it: in this troop, only I look handome, tall, charming, like Royal material." This was just an easy dart to the rightful owner of the Commander pin, but if he had the control, he'd enjoy it.
He had walked very casually around the rest of the soldiers, greeting a few bandits he knew and eventually untensing muscles, relaxing jaws, making a few snort, mission accomplished.

He came really close to the leader of the bandits and whispered to his ear very close, in his usual flirty way, for he knew his weaknesses just like he knew many things in Hesna: "I know where is my family, when the time comes we'll need 4 times more men and we'll take that noble blood prisoner to get paid. Stay on your guard." On this Woobin turned back to the soldiers in position and made a faint headsign before walking right through the bandits who, somexwhat discomposed and taken aback by his appearance didn't even try to argue. The leader of the bandit watched Woobin walk away with an unreadable expression on his face while the soldiers passed him.

What seemed like a roleplay for the soldiers actually challenged Woobin and really, he was almost surprised it worked so well. But he'd soon had to give count for his promise or he's life would be in danger throughout the kingdom. He lead them off the dangerous streets and slowed down so as to let the soldiers head to the next camp he didn't know. He walked at the end of the troup, looking back to the family he had left a few times, thoughtful and not really thinking of the rules he bent since the morning: stealing, betraying or lying.

((it was perfect, love!))
Lee Jongsuk (S) [A] 9 years ago
@Kim Woobin (S) It had been a long way to Hesna. They had been working for a few days, sleeping outside and even though they were trained for it it still made them exhausted. Jongsuk was used to such trips, had visited all big towns in Silvatica before – not by horse or by horse-drawn carriage but by foot. Of course he had had some guards with them, his parents wouldnt have let him go alone – as the youngest prince of Pyrope he was constantly in danger. Even though now he was in the army he was still in danger which was the exact reason why barely anyone knew about his origin. He might be a prince but right now he was a soldier, a well serving commander of the army and this was what really mattered. He had spent most of his time in the army, visiting home on his days off or listening to the citizens' problems and worries. That was what he liked to do: simply listening to them because he might be a prince but with his position he had the ability to make sure the people's wishes were considered. He had wanted to do the same in Hesna, listen to the people while carrying out their mission and training his squad but something had definitely gone wrong.

Jongsuk had noticed that something was going on, that something was wrong in this city but he had noticed too late what exactly it was. And now they were surrounded by bandits, well armed bandits with dangerous weapons and they were clearly outnumbered. His back was slightly touching the other male behind him – young and tall, Kim Woobin. He was one of the good ones in his squad. He was fast to react and a good fighter – Jongsuk was almost sure that this man had been fighting a lot before, he probably had a past Jongsuk couldnt grasp yet but it wasn't his turn to judge and besides that he had no time to judge now anyways.
Looking around he ended up frowning anyways. He had so many young soldiers in his squad, rebellious ones and he was worried that one of them wouldnt follow the instructions. He was about to voice something out when he felt the nudge and looked down, seeing his pin in the other's hand. His eyes widened for a moment and he checked where it usually was – of course it was gone. Jongsuk had honestly expected everything but this was something he hadn't considered. He made a mental note – Kim Woobin: smart – and even though this probably saved his life and spared them lots of trouble he still had to talk to this man. Later.
He nodded but wasn't sure if the other saw it so he slightly nudged him back as a sign that he had understood and wouldn't say a word.

Usually Jongsuk wouldn't agree to something like this. He was the commander, he had to take responsibility but right now these bandits were looking for a prince and speaking up would bring attention to his face and if even one of them ever saw his face before they would recognize him. And that wouldnt only be dangerous for him but for every other soldier. He was just glad that no normal citizens were too close around, he didn't need anyone else to be harmed.
He frowned and looked at Woobin out of the corner of his eyes. And now? Did the other have a plan or were they ed? He took a shaky breath and closed his eyes again, hearing one of the bandits demand to turn the prince in. Most of the soldiers were confused but they all stayed quiet, not wanting to cause any trouble – up to now Jongsuk really had to reward them. Even though his squad was usually rebellious and stubborn they behaved really well right now. Well, he would reward them if they were to make it out alive.

Frowning he bit his lip, thinking of a plan. In extreme situations his brain usually worked so well but right now – now that he was the target they were looking for – he felt like his brain was empty, a blank space. He could only rely on the other right behind him. He wouldnt just take the pin for fun, right? He must have known about this before so maybe he had a plan. Maybe he knew a way out. Jongsuk just really hoped he didnt assess him wrongly because then this would be the death of them all. He needed to concentrate and believe in this man. Yes, he needed to rely on Kim Woobin.

(I hope it is okay like this. My brain is a bit dead but I wanted to reply >3< <3)
[H] Kim Woobin (S) 9 years ago
@Lee Jongsuk (S) Maybe he should have spoken up earlier, as in earlier when they chose this very route through the market place of downtown Hesna.

Woobin pressed his lips together and lightly shrugged to himself: now it was just too late. The garrison was surrounded by bandits Woobin easily recognized as a rare team up between different factions of thieves. Thieves were by definition egoistic and if gangs of thieves were only shortly viable, teams up between rival gangs were spectacularly rare. They had to be after a big fish and Woobin could easily guess who could be targeted, -although rather slim fish to his opinion-, for smelling like money, old and big money. Although each soldier had a few weapons, they were outnumbered and certainly outguned.

The thieves were still moving all around, taking their spot in the ambush made just for the imperial army while they took a defensive position, forming two circles, one standing, aiming for higher threats and the exterior defense line squatting  and aiming for the bandits in the street. This was a regular formation and from this, no one could know who was the highest rank, if it wasn't for the Commander's medal. And fortunately, Woobin prove himself a good thief by counting that very medal as one of his little tokens of the day. He had watched Jongsuk walk his merry and innocent way into his city earlier and it made his snort internally as much as it annoyed him: he felt a little second hand embarrassment to enter his city with those young and -to his opinion again- inexperienced soldiers, the pin was just a payback to his hurt feelings and anyway, Jongsuk way going to bring attention to himself as a commander and that was the least they needed. Woobin had clumsily stumbled over the younger man and had offered a large grin when he met the other's eyes for once, swiftly removing the medal, as easy as a kid's game. The issue was not Jongsuk being the Commander of the garrison, this barely interested anyone in Hesna; but the rumor of a crowned head within the ranks of the army slowly but surely turned indifferent bandits into interested greedy risk takers and the highest rank of a garrison made an ideal hiding title for a noble.

Woobin was squatting on the front line, face down so as to not get recognized just yet and before the leaders of the bandits were close enough, he nudged one of the feet of the man standing behind him who happened to be the Commander and freed on hand from his sword  which he opened, revealing the pin he detained wothout a single glance. From this, he hoped Jongsuk would know his fear and would just act as if he was no Commander of the imperial army, avoiding the extra attention which could help bandits believe he could be an actual Prince, just walking freely in their town.
