@Yoon Jeonghan (R) Hyosung raised an eyebrow, weirded out by his expression. Being bumped into wasn't anything to be surprised about, but to each their own. "Other than almost getting run over by a horse when he bumped into me, I'm over it, so it's not that bad." Shrugging, she stepping away from him a little. Her intuition was telling her to be wary of this man, so she won't go against it. Following her instincts have always saved her from trouble and whatever was with this man will reveal its self soon enough. When the man grabbed her hand she noticed how soft his hand was and didn't buy his story for a second. Scoffing to his offer, she pulled her hand from his and stepped further back from him, hand on her machete handle encase she had to use it.
"Alright /Jeonghan/, if that's truly your name. I don't know what game you're playing at lying to me, but I suggest you tell me the truth or walk away now and we both live to see another day." His hands were too soft to be those of a travelers, even if he was a traveling greenie. Besides, no common man's hands were that soft. A few years of hard labor should have made his hand rough or at least given him a few scars if he came from humble beginnings. At most he's probably a rich brat thinking he'll get his way if he runs away from home to spite his parents. Either way, he won't live long if he doesn't fuss up now and go about his business.
@Jeon Hyosung (T) Jeonghan watched her, internally smirking as she pulled away and offered him a thank you. This would be a piece of cake! Or at least he thought until she began to speak about an she met earlier. Jeonghan had to do everything in his power to keep his worried expression on and not snap and yell at the . He was sure the ‘’ was himself and GOD how he just wanted to put her on her place. This whole ordeal had been her fault! “A-?” He asked in mock surprise, frowning. “Did they not apologize? How horrible.” He ran fingers through his hair and shook his head as he tried to seem sympathetic. However the actions made him want to throw up.
“Well….” He forced a youthful and inviting smile on his lips. “How about if I accompany you through the festival?” He quickly shot up his hands, pretending to be a bit embarrassed for being too quick to suggest a thing like that. “I mean...You don’t have to. I’m just alone and you seem like you’re alone.” He chuckled. “I could pretend to be a shield in case someone else bumps into you?” He smiled. “How about it miss….Oh wait! I don’t even know your name…” He thought before going through the motions to take her hand. He debated if he should kiss it and internally made a HELL NO ring out. Instead he shook her hand in earnest. “My name is Jeonghan...I’m a traveler returning from Hayde…” He said in a warm tone, noticing the skin of her hands were a mix of soft and rough. He didn’t know why he felt like he...Enjoyed that. “What’s yours?”
@Yoon Jeonghan (R) Hyosung expected the girl to say something to her or have men chase her, but when she was far enough in the crowd she knew that wasn't going to happen. The last thing she needed was some prissy princess hounding her over a horse. In retrospect she should have just walked away, instead of arguing with a child, but her mouths get the best of her sometimes. Now it was in the past and time for her to move on. The further she walked down the street the thicker the crowd. In the heart of the city were the main events and most of the people here were interested in whatever acts they had going on.
Unfortunately for Hyosung the brothel is on the other side of the city closer to the road leading to Pyrope. The madam said something about getting more business when it's closer to traveling soldiers. The crowd was so thick she couldn't move from her spot for a few minutes with getting elbows and pushed around. Such a bad day to comeback home. At one point someone tried to open her bag, but she felt them. Turning, she swung her bag to her front and placed her hand on her machete handle, threatening the little boy attempting to steal from her. Her glare and threatening posture made the kid run away, moving faster than she could since he could go between adults' legs.
Frustrated with the stop and go, she decided she'd take a different root to her destination. But she'll have to go back the way she came and take the side roads around Hesna, which meant going out of her way and more traveling. The region was big and the side roads were far, dangerous, and filled with bandits. She didn't have the energy to deal with criminals or walk that far, but she didn't have a choice if she wanted to get to the brothel by night fall. Resigned to being so close yet so far, she turned around, pushing her way through the crowd. By the time it waned down, she was a few stores from where she almost got ran over.
Glad to have her own space and breathing easy, she turned around to look back at the crowd. It was further down now, but still too crowded to go through. She was getting too old for this . Pulled from her musings when someone bumped into her, she was caught with strong hands, a man apologized to her. She looked at his face, irked that this happened for the second time today. He was pretty. Really pretty, but it reminded her of the princess she had it out with earlier. But he's a commoner if his clothes were anything to go by. They couldn't be related. Probably just favored. "Thank you." She said as she pulled from his arms. "At least you have the decency to help me after knocking me over. This earlier, though, not so much."
@Jeon Hyosung (T) A disgusted sound left Jeonghan’s lips as the woman began interrogating him, throwing out questions about age and bleeding. He wondered if she was a looney that escaped a recent facility. However, he squared his shoulders and fixed a sharp gaze on the woman. “First of all, my attributes or lack thereof are none of your business. Unlike you who might have some s under those garments but lack brain and the etiquette of a proper tongue. I’m surprised your family has yet to rip it from your mouth with how you talk and address to people.” He was still being insulting, but in a much cleaner way, due to being watched. God if he could he would smack her.
Jeonghan began to part his lips again to continue when her next words caused him to redden not out of embarrassment but anger. She still tried to pin this on his help instead of her own clumsiness. “What! You are nothing but a brat in this festival! You should have been looking at your surroundings instead of being lost in thought!” He huffed, about to rant some more when her following words caused him to choke on them. Did she really just call him /gaudy/? His nose wrinkled at the fact that she pretty much admitted to not bathing every day, but also because as he wanted to shriek at her, his attendant, an old man he had known since birth grabbed his hand and gave him a pleading look. Jeonghan could do nothing but bite his tongue for him.
It was then that the beautiful yet crude woman spoke again, about not needing to apologize for anything and smacking into his shoulder as she continued walking. Jeonghan did nothing but clutch his dress and wanted to rip her a new one. So much so that his blush intensified. He allowed her to leave, to wander off as he cooled down before smirking. He would get back at her some way or another. He just wasn’t sure how. “Heenam” He spoke to his attendant. “I have a plan.” There was a devil glint in his eye as he breathed in and then simply stalked off towards the nearest store. Oh how he would make her pay.
Inside the store, he looked for clothes appropriate for the occasion. “I need something that looks good enough for the festival, but that does not scream that I am a noble...I need to look like, a well off peasant” He could hear Heenam grumbling at his side but he simply waggled a slender finger. “Oh no, no grumbling. I can’t do what I want if I look like a noble and she’s seen me with make-up.” He looked towards the woman helping him, as she brought him clothes fit for the festival. He purchased it and nodded before inquiring to use a room to change, she obliged and not long after he stepped out, holding a bag for Heenam to take with his things and dressed like a man. His face was clean of make-up and his hair was pulled back into a messy pony-tail. “Thank you. Heenam, please give her extra for her service.” He said before heading out.
Once out, he began to search for the young woman, all the while enjoying the spectacles. Little people could recognize him without his royal attire and with the way he allowed his hair to be messy. However, he quickly found the girl, spotting her and smirking to himself as he headed towards her, bumping into her and quickly shooting out his hands to steady her. “Oh oh! I’m sorry…” He said quickly, his tone more manly now as he smiled at her.
@Jeonghan (R) A derisive unladylike snort left when he called her a little girl. As if she had room to talk. Hyosung had at least ten years on the girl. Nothing little about her other than her height. "Little girl? Ha. That's the funniest thing I've heard all day. What are you sixteen? Twelve? Have you even bleed yet? And you're quite," Her eyes drifted down to her or lack there of. She's seen flat chested, but the girl wasn't packing anything but pebbles. Maybe not even that much. "Small for a girl your age. Undeveloped perhaps. Why don't you stop going through mommy's makeup to look older and act your age. Oh wait you are.Immature and spoiled." The crowd around them was building and watching them as the girl made a spectacle out of herself. Definitely wouldn't look good for her reputation. Hyosung, however, didn't have one to maintain.
"And if you must know I don't know the drunk that bumped into me and I would have caught myself if the bag wasn't in my way. Just like I would have rolled out the way of /your/ horse before it trampled me. If you and your people were smart someone would have had their hands on the reigns. Anyone with a brain knows not to leave a horse unattended when in a heavy crowd, especially when it's loud and anything can spook it." Hyosung shrugged when she commented on her appearance. Wouldn't be the first person to say something about her manish garb and she won't be the last. She liked the way she looks and it's more convenient to move around with being heavily weighed down by pounds and pounds of skirts and ruffles. "In fact no one told me there was a festival today. Not like it would matter. Baths don't come often when on traveling on the road. But a pampered princess in tacky, gaudy, dresses, and so much makeup your face outweighs your clothes, wouldn't know anything about that, would she?"
Even with all the crap on her face Hyosung can tell the girl is beautiful without it. Why she felt it necessary to cover it up is beyond her. She's been a woman all her life and no matter how many women she's talked to no one could give her a good enough reason to wear it other than to make them prettier. As if they need it. Any man that can't see a woman's worth without it isn't worth s and pennies. When one of the princess's men apologized to her, she smiled at him and nodded, accepting his apology. Well at least someone has the brains to know they're wrong. "Good, because there's nothing for me to apologize for. I mean you didn't almost die, because of my negligence, right? Enjoy your day, little princess." She did an exaggerated curtsy, before pushing passed her, hoping some of her dirt came off on the dress, and pushing her way through the crowd to get away from them. She'd be lucky never to see her again. Then again what are the chances of meeting royal twice when once is rare enough.
@Jeon Hyosung (T) Jeonghan’s eyes widened as the woman got in his face and began talking, taking a moment from her rant to kick a bag and blame her clumsiness on some drunken fool. He parted his lips to speak, to tell her to save her excuses when she had the audacity to suggest /he/ owed her any sort of apology! As if he was responsible for the carriage or the firecrackers. “Look here, little girl…How /dare/ you place the blame on my horse?” He asked in a somewhat incredulous tone. His eyes narrowing and his heel tapping. “I cannot be blamed for the sound of firecrackers or the horse getting understandingly spooked!” He scoffed and shook his head. “You however have complete control of your body and if you weren’t hanging around with the riff raff over there, you wouldn’t have tripped!” He finished with a hiss.
However his rant was interrupted as his men asked him if everything was alright and he remembered where he currently was, moving a hand to pinch the bridge of his nose. Great! Now the guards were on alert because of some dumb clumsy bimbo. “No, everything is fine….Just get the horse and carriage out. I’ll return to the castle later” He huffed and turned back to the woman. “Ungrateful! I should have let the horse make you mince meat.” He said, smoothing his skirts, taking a moment to actually look at the rude woman and noticing she was actually very good looking, yet her manliness rubbed him the wrong way. “What’s up with you anyway? You’re dressed in a manish manner and look dirty and sweaty. Didn’t anyone tell you there was a festival today?” He smirked, taunting the woman because hell, he wasn’t going to apologize.
However as he taunted, his rider stepped towards them and apologized to the young woman and Jeonghan could do nothing but glare. “She deserves none of it!” He huffed as the spoiled prince he was before noting the man motioning around them and Jeonghan realizing his surroundings once again. Most people knew he was at the very least a noble not only by his clothes but with his carriage and attendants. His eyes closed and his jaw set as he tried to calm down, opening them only to look at the woman. “..........Look, I care not for your apology. Keep it.” He placed his hands on his hips. “You’re alive and that’s what matters. How about you scra--....Leave peacefully and enjoy the festival so I can do the same.” He lifted his hand and made a small shooing motion. “Ok?” He could hear the disappointed sound of his attendant, but really he could give a rats right now.
@Jeonghan (R) For the past eight months Hyosung has been on the road going from small town to small town, city to city, and ship to ship. Between the bar fights, vulgar merchants, ty food, and the crappy inns she was ready to settle down for the next few months to get her bearings and earn some money by working odd jobs. And what better place to live than her home region, Hesna. She hasn't been here in a year or so. The last time she was she nearly ran into trouble with some pirates. Another won bar fight to add under her belt. Pirates have a good memory of the people who them over, so she needed to give them awhile to calm down and forget she exist.
By now she was sure they forgot her and if not what were the chances she would run into them? Other than people that live in all the places she's been and visited she rarely runs into nomads again. Whether they be pirates, bandits, or fellow travelers. With not a worry in the world, she walked down the road leading into Hesna. The street was lively. Music, dancing, chattering tourists and residents filled the street. Colored fabric and decorations hung from above over the street. She was just in time for the festival. Hyosung loved the crowd and ambiance. Lots of men to get drunk with while telling tales of adventure and splendor. The only problem she'll have is finding a place that isn't completely booked. Her back-up plan would have to be the house. The madam owed her a favor.
While she was musing about her temporary living situation, she didn't see a man stumbling down the street until he bumped into her. Normally her balance was good if she was sober like she is now, but someone's bag was in the way of her foot, so she couldn't get her footing causing her to trip on it and land in the street. The moment she hit the ground firecrackers went off overhead and the sound of a horse and rolling wheels wasn't far behind. Looking up, she saw a horse coming toward her and a girl in a fancy dress running after it.
Cursing, she was prepared to roll out of the way when the girl stopped it short of her, then yanked her up with anger. Instead of asking if she was okay like a normal person, she yelled at her instead and acted like she did her a service. And perhaps she did, but whatever thanks she was going to give her died on her tongue. "You don't have to be stupid to trip. I could have died, but I didn't. If people kept their ," She kicked the bag she tripped over. "Out of the road and didn't drink before noon," Referring to the man that pushed her. "Then we wouldn't be having this conversation." Getting in the girl's face, she glowered up at her. The girl was considerably taller. It was probably the heels. "And if you kept better control of your horse, then it wouldn't have nearly run me over. I think you owe me an apology."
@Jeon Hyosung (T) There was a festival today, one that the young prince of Hesna would not miss. He donned on his dress and did up his hair, making sure he looked not only presentable but also prettier than most of the girls there. He did honor to his mother's trademark look as he placed a long silk scarf over his neck, this helped with hiding his adam's apple. “Well? Hurry up, I don’t have all day to wait and I’d like to look at the pretty girls and of course dancing.” He said as he hiked up his skirt and climbed into the carriage, letting the attendant close the door for him.
The ride into town was a bit dull as it wasn’t quick to show the decorations for the festivities. However as he neared town his eyes opened wide and he smiled, he noted how the town was littered with flowers and maypoles and other vendors trying to sell their goods. Music and food filled the streets and he looked around with a smile on his lips, admiring it all. His fingers curled over the hem of his skirt as he waited with anticipation. His carriage soon came to a stop as he ordered them out to the main square and he had his attendant open the door for him. He quickly stepped out and looked around, smiling. Yes, he was pleased with the outcome this year.
He had begun to hike up his skirt to walk off, when he noticed a young girl walking not that far off from where he stepped off and trip before falling to the ground. His nose wrinkled slightly at the clumsiness and he almost muttered something rude when out of nowhere firecrackers could be heard, spooking his horse and sending it and the carriage towards the young woman, before the attendant could stop it. It took barely no time for Jeonghan to sprint into action, the sound of clacking heels on cobblestone being masked over the galloping sound of hoofbeats. He was nimble and quickly reached the reigns, just in time to jump up and pull on them, causing the horse to skid to a halt, all the while he yelled at the woman to jump out of the way. “BE CAREFUL!” He said, dust coming up from the ground and engulfing them all.
Once the dust cleared, it was revealed that the horse had barely stopped in time, only two to three feet before the woman. Some people clapped, others exclaimed their worry. Jeonghan...Well, he threw the reigns at one of his men and despite the soreness on his heels, he walked gracefully towards the woman, fixing his dress and hair as he fixed her a glare. “.......ARE YOU STUPID!?” He said, pulling her up and giving her a horrified look. “You could have died! Do you not watch where you’re going?” He could feel people staring and huffed as he took out a hand fan and began to fan himself, the attendant calming the spooked horse while apologizing to Jeonghan, or how he called him. “His highness”. “Well!? Aren’t you going to say anything?”
@Luvian Lee (C) Ever since that day on the beach, that day he met her. He had fallen madly in love with her even if she didn't believe him, he had truly fallen for this woman and he wanted to be with her. Shocking isn't it? This man who had killed for money, for power, for just to be feared by many; this man knew what it felt like to love and in his own way he proved that, he proved that to the woman by basically humiliating himself by kneeling to her. By begging her to come with him, he thought that would prove to her that he truly wanted to be with her and only her. Never had he stated he had waited, held himself back, held his urges back because the only woman he wanted to release those urges to was the beautiful woman he kneeled before.
It was there he heard the woman speak to him, speaking the words he knew she would say since it seemed it was the same words she always said to him. She was rejecting him once again, she didn't want him to say the words he spoke, he knew this but he was persistent man, he wanted what he wanted and he would get it one way or another. The sad part was, this woman didn't know that this man's patience was wearing thin and that her rejecting him for the millionth time had finally hit a nerve. Of course something he wouldn't show but deep down he had had enough waiting, enough of her telling him that he was asking for something she couldn't give him because she could. How hard was it to just say yes? How hard was it to pack her things and come with him? It couldn't be that hard. She was choosing not to go. She was choosing to stay and that made him think, there is someone else... There has to be someone she wants to stay there for and that caused a spark of jealousy to brew inside his heart, but this man held his emotions back as he slowly got to his feet. " I also know that I love you Luvian... I know that also..." He mumbled softly as he placed one hand beside her thigh as he cupped her cheek after placing his hat on the counter. " I also know that I have missed you greatly... I know that most of all..." He whispered closer to her lips as he held her cheek gently as if she could break if he touched her with anymore force. " and yet you still seem to have men knocking on your door, begging to have you every time I return." He joked as he captured the woman's lips in his as he closed his eyes. Sen missed this, he missed her and he was going to enjoy this moment they were having but deep down he knew that this beautiful woman that desired his affection, he knew she would feel malice toward him once it was time to return to his ship, he knew this because it was not leaving empty handed again, he refused to. But still he would ignore his urge to just take her away now, he ignored it because just as she spoke of needing him, he needed her as well.
@Sen Mitsuji (P) A year. A long long year. A year of men passing by for a single night, just enough to sate her once or twice a month. Contrary to popular belief Luvian was not some kind of a , sleeping around mindlessly with random men in bars. Of course she couldn't find love, but she searched for something more than just... well, a . She didn't care that people talked - she was a woman in her peak, a healthy female creature, and had her needs, which she wasn't shy to sate when they became unbearable. All men wanted her, that was of no doubt, and it had something to do with her siren blood - she had a special charm over sailors especially, so she had learned not to believe any man who told her he loved her - she knew that it was only the result of her enchantment over them and it'd be gone once they were away.
But this man... This pirate captain... One, who should be even more independent than the petty sailors, marines and pirates... One, who should be able to brush her off when he left her shop... He kept on coming back every year... He was like obsessed with her... And it scared her. She didn't know her power was so strong, because she was sure that it wasn't love. It couldn't be. She thought that as he touched her, embraced her, picked her up like she was his treasure and she yelped, wrapping arms and legs around him, locking him only for her. It wasn't love, she repeated to herself, as he talked sweetly to her, caressing her face, his eyes so deep and dark like the sea. It was a very strong and unhealthy infatuation and she didn't know how to stop it. "Sen..." she started but he interrupted her.
And it felt so good. It felt so good to have someone be so gentle to you and yet so rough, because she infuriated him to no end, but he still came back.
It wasn't love, she clenched her teeth as he dropped to his knee and she had to look down from where he had perched her on the counter. What a disappointment, she thought she was in for a ride on the counter and here he was kneeling a begging. Again. She was so tired of begging. "Sen. Get up." she murmured in low voice "I am no royal for you to bow before. And enough begging, you know how much I hate begging. Everybody begs. Everybody begs me for something. Most want the same - for me to be all theirs, they think they love me. Everything begs. I'm so tired of begging" she sighed and reached her arm out to find his and hopefully guide him up "Get up and be with me, unlike them who want only me to be WITH them and FOR them like some kind of accessory. Be with me, because I've missed you too badly to let go now..." she whispered, her eyes looking for his "And stop it. Stop begging. Stop begging for something that you know I can't give you. You don't want me there. Your crew will hate me, they'll think I'm your gilded and won't count me for a human. My place is not on your ship, Sen. My place is here." she laughed bitterly and shook her head "How can you say such words when you don't even know me... I am not even from Hesna, so don't call me that. You don't know the first thing about me... but one thing you know and it is how I need you. I need you right now, Sen..." she spoke in a firm, slightly purring voice, hoping to get his mind of the begging with the incentive of another heated exchange...
@Luvian Lee (C) It was obvious the foolish men in front of him weren't going to move so with a shrug he pointed his freshly fired gun at one of the men. "I'll be a gentleman, which one of you want your brains painted on the walls first? Hm?" He asked before suddenly hearing that beautiful angelic voice that seemed to only appear in his dreams. But this time he was hearing it, finally hearing it after a year of almost forgetting that that beautiful sound was. He didn't even realise he had lowered his gun until he heard the woman's words. As if it was an order more than just a statement. This was probably the only woman no the only person that could control Sen or at least the only person he would actually listen to. He would do anything this woman asked and that seemed to be his weakness, if she said jump he would ask how high, if she said run he would asked how far. This woman had the power over him ever since he laid eyes on her that faithful day seven years ago when he was just twenty and she was eighteen. She still looked the same to him, the same beauty that captured his heart in the first place but also the same beauty that seemed to break it each time he asked her to come with him, to leave land with him. She made him feel such a mixture of emotions and that was harder for the captain to understand how she had the ability to make him feel what he felt.
Hearing her order the men to leave the shop, Sen couldn't help but wave as they left. " maybe next time gentlemen." He said in an antagonising tone as he smiled before hearing her threaten the other man before seeing her glancing at his pistol. With a faint chuckle Sen couldn't help but laugh as the man only nodded before of course fleeing as well.
One they were alone Sen slowly put his gun away in its holster and didn't hesitate to lean in and kiss the woman's cheek as he pulled her in and embraced her by the waist. "It's rather heart breaking, not even a welcome back kiss, all I get is scolded..." He mumbled as he buried his face against her neck before lifting her up and carrying her to the counter before sitting her down. It was there he got a better look at her as he slowly tucked a lock of her long black hair behind her ear before cupping her cheek as he caressed it with his thumb. "But I suppose I still can only have eyes for one woman, even if she scolds me." He chuckled as the captain admired the woman, getting lost in every inch of her as his thumb slowly moved and brushed over the beauty mark over her lip as he smiled a bit softer as he looked up and looked into her eyes. " I truly did miss you greatly Luvian... I thought I was going mad at sea without you... It would appear each year seems to get longer and longer which is why I'm going to ask this once again like I've done for the past seven years... " he sighed and continued to caress her fair skin as he tilted his head before removing his hat. Slowly placing it against his heart he slowly released her cheek and got down on one knee as if bowing to a princess or even a queen. " Luvian Lee of Hesna will you please come with me... Please don't make me get back on my ship without you accompanying me... Please Luvian..." He said softly as most would probably be shocked to see the captain of the aurora kneeling down to anyone let alone a common woman. But he was, the man that was once threatening to shoot anyone would remained in his way, was now looking less threatening than he had moments ago. He was kneeling before the woman because of one reason, he loved her. He would do anything for her, he would even kill his best friend if she asked him to he was that in love with this woman. This woman who seems to break his heart every time he pleaded with her to leave Hesna and come with him. To sail with him, to visit lands you only hear about in stories. He wanted that life, a free life with her by his side, to give her anything and everything she desired but still she broke his heart and rejected him. In a sense Sen was like a lost puppy always come back only to be cast away later on. The sad part of this all was he still asked even though he knew the answer, he knew she would reject him and he knew that she would send him off to sea once again without her only to wait another year to see her and that killed him.
She rushed from behind the counter and through the men, pushing their blades down "No one is getting killed today." she stated in a solid voice, looking at Sen right in the eyes "Nor any day for that matter, not in this shop. This is a peaceful place. If you search for trouble, Hesna is not your place of choice, captain." she spoke calmly, nearing the man until they were in arm's reach. For a long moment she gazed into his eyes silently, before turning to the side to the men "Shop is closed for the day. Whatever you need, you can find uptown or tomorrow. Filter out." she demanded and the men looked around for a second, confused and discouraged, but started leaving one by one, leaving items here and there. She followed them out and extended her arm to the canvas guy "You. Take the canvas and bring me 5 kilos of cocoa beans and 6 kilos of coffee beans tomorrow. But if you don't..." she looked down to the still smoking mouth of Sen's gun "... then i guess you won't be needing your nose to smell them." she stated before sending everyone away. [part 2 of 2]
@Sen Mitsuji (P) Swift fingers thread through stacks of fabric and strings, until Luvian manages to pull a roll of that special canvas her customer asked for. Its ivory color is exactly the hue of her skin and she can feel the man's eyes burning a trail up her arms and across her chest, where her not-so-modest corsage is not doing a good work at hiding her soft skin. She doesn't care, already used to it. She is aware that half of the success of her shop is due to her siren-blood charm, but until it's a success, she couldn't care less. The young girl, albeit only 25, knows how to trade, knows what the marines need, and how to black market the pirates, knows what to offer the sailors, along with an alluring smile and an unspoken promise she never has the intent to fulfill.
Unrolling the canvas on the table, she guides the attention of the man back to the good at hand "Will this do for your sails?" she asks, knowing more than well that this is the finest sail material and he will not be able to say no. Behind her back, the other customers are roaming, picking stuff up from the shelves - she is not afraid of thievery - the most precious goods are behind the counter and in the back of the shop, where only she has access. Last year she began thinking of actually hiring a boy or a girl to help her around, because the shop seemed to be growing fast, but there was no one she could trust yet. Plus, bandits stealing from other bandits? Not happening. Even if they stole from her, they'd never be able to come back here, since she'd remember them, and one day they'd surely need something from her shop. It wasn't worth the risk. "The Siren's Dream" was buzzing, but calm as she cut two large pieces of the canvas for the man, measuring them in front of himself - she'd never cheat her loyal customers. "What do you have for me?" she asked, while folding the canvas neatly, striking the man with a look, that took no bull "Or you want to pay in cash?" he shook hies head, most men didn't even have currency, and took out a small bag from his pocket, Luvian's nose twitched. "Coffee beans" he said "And cocoa beans in here" he showed her two small bags, containing not more than 200 grams each. Cocoa was expensive, but not that much. "You surely don't want me to sell you two sails worth of fabric for a cup of hot cocoa and a latte, right?" she raised an eyebrow and the man shook his head fast "No, no, I have more on the ship, I couldn't bring the whole sack inside" he explained and she squinted her eyes. "Come with me to the counter, let's weigh this and we'll decide how much of each you'll give me." she said, noticing that there were some customers waiting for her at the counter to pay for some tackle and what else. The fishermen surprisingly paid in cash, while the pirates tried to sleek off with some ancient coins from an old treasure chest, but she took nothing less than pure silver. After some bargaining, and with a pocket full of dangling silver and gold coins, she returned to the canvas guy, who was rubbing the fabric fondly. A slight commotion outside had gained his attention and he was looking, probably at his own ship in a a worry, as another one coasted next to it. From her position Luvian couldn't see more, nor did she cared - she'd see the newcomers soon enough.
She was just about to put it on the scales and start negotiating, when a sharp bang pierced the air and startled her clientele. The young woman waved the smoke from her face and squinted her eyes at the man in the middle of the shop. The golden glint of his gun was the first thing she saw and her breath died on her lips as her eyes followed down to the familiar face, posture, attitude - Sen hadn't changed one bit for this year they'd been apart.
Looking sideways, Luvian noticed that the men were ready to guard her and themselves, already pointing their blades to the offender - this brought a little smirk to her lips, her lips that had oh so sweetly murmured 'no...' when asked to leave with him, and sealed that no with a kiss. She was a free and independent soul, she wasn't going to be some accessory doll to a famous pirate captain, completely depending on his will. No matter how much Sen begged, her decision was final 'I'm yours on land, but once you leave, our paths are no longer crossed.' she had stated the terms of the deal and right now was actually surprised he had decided to return after what she did to him, rejected and refused him.
Sen moved and acted with such cockiness, such attitude that it made Luvian clench her jaw as she heard the men whisper his name and watched him move swords out of his way as if they were toys. And that smile. Luvian did not like that smile when it graced his lips.
@Luvian Lee (C) His words echoing him his mind as if he had said them only seconds ago. ' come with me Luvian... Come with me and explore places you've only been able to dream of... Come with me please...' Those words left a bitter taste in his mouth when she rejected his offer and that taste had returned just remembering it and that was harder to handle as he walked closer and closer before pulling out his gold engraved colonial pistol and aimed it up in the air before pulling back the hammer of the pistol. This was how Sen solved problems like this, this is how you make a crowd disband and make way for yourself. It was there he pulled the trigger and a long bang filled his ears as did a cloud of smoke as he saw a few of the men run off as others stood still in confusion as they waited for the smoke to clear to see who the man was. Once the smoke finally cleared Sen looked at the men that had been foolish enough to stay and saw at a few had draw Their swords and where pointing them at the man. " it would appear you men are blocking my way." He stated calmly as he blew the remaining smoke that seeped out of the barrel of the gun. Within moments a few of the men realised who Sen was, a few of the men had actually crossed paths with Sen and his crew before and Sen realised this when one whispered to one of the others. " it's the captain of the aurora... " slowly putting his gun away, Sen walked closer to the swords that were pointing right at him as he pushed one away with his index finger. " I don't wish to kill anyone today... But if you don't move... You'll leave me no choice gentlemen." He stated in a rather calm but frightening tone as a smile creeped on his lips. [part two of two]
@Luvian Lee (C) With the fresh sea air caressing his rather tannish skin, Sen couldn't help but close his eyes and inhale a long deep breath. That was the smell, the smell of Hesna. But this free spirited man was only excited for one thing this beautiful place had to offer, and that was the even more beautiful creature that inhabited this glorious place. That creatures name was Luvian. Her beauty was something Angel would envy, that even God himself would desire. Sometimes the man even questioned if she was really human with how enchanting she truly was. Just thinking of her made the man feel warmth in his heart, it made him wish he could be with her right then and there, he wanted to embrace her in his arms, to kiss her, to all the things he desired to do everyday for the past year he had been away. A year it's been since that morning he last saw her, yet it felt like ten years to the man. Sleeping, only being able to see her when he drifted off into his realm of slumber but most nights he stayed up just thinking of all the men that were probably trying to convince the woman to do God knows what: that was the thought that haunted his dreams, that enraged him, that brought nothing but anger to fill his very core. " captain!" Suddenly that filled his ears and broke his train of thought as he heard one of his men call out from the bottom deck. " We are approaching Hesna!" With that Sen slowly opened his eyes and saw it, the port of the home of beautiful woman that he had been awaiting to see for so long. " just a few more hours... Just a few more..." He whispered to himself as they docked at the port. As his ship, The Aurora docked, Sen slowly walked closer and closer to the nose of the ship until he was right over the wooden dock, people glancing up and children pointing and tugging on their parents coats as they walk by. "Mommy look at that man up there!" A little boy called out as Sen smirked a bit to himself as some stared in awe and others in fear. Sen even though he was a rather simple, carefree man. He was something most people feared, he was a pirate. This man had killed men for just looking at him sideways, he had stolen from other pirates and even the ship he was now proudly owned was once owned by a Royal ship from Pyrope. Of course renamed by Sen but other than that, it looked pretty much the same as it did when he stole it many years ago.
Slowly taking one more step forward he basically jumped off the nose of the boat and landed right on the balls of his feet. Citizens flinching and gasping as the man ran his fingers through his jet black hair and glanced around that the shocked looks that he was getting from managing such a high fall or rather high leap. Seconds later catching his hat that had flew off his head after he jumped of his ship. Slowly placing the black hat back on his head, Sen couldn't help but look back at his ship.
Within moments his crew had also found their way off the boat after setting anchor and tying the sails down. " go on." Was all he uttered as the men and woman of his crew basically wandered off to do as they pleased as Sen headed down the path going toward the small it'll supply shop. Although it was small Sen already knew it would be surrounded with sailors, Pirates and other men alike trying to at least get a glance of the beautiful owner of the shop. And sure enough Sen lifted his hate ever so slightly and saw it. Ten, no twenty men crowding around and inside the shop. Most being pirates but their were some sailors as well. It made him stand there for a moment and tilt his head as he remembered the last time he was at this shop [part one of two]
@Min Hyorin (B) Hyungseok looked around warily before he nodded, slowly making his way through the hallway. It was dark and lonely, no one around. He was kind of surprised but ever since the former captain had died everything was a mess, the supposed to be guards were probably drinking right now.
He nodded towards Hyorin as everything seemed to be clear so she knew to follow him.
@Min Hyorin (B) Hyungseok shrugged and looked at Hyorin.
"Usually... with this crew there is none. Well, as long as they dont get you. Because if they do they get ovrly cruel. So better get out of here without them seeing us escape."
He his lips. "The shop is pretty big but I know the way." Thankfully he did.
@Min Hyorin (B) Hyungseok nodded and looked at her.
"Yes," he said and his lips. "The lock is rusty, you can easily break out of the cells. This should not be a problem." He looked around, thinking about what to do. "They barely watch the cells at night too."
@Min Hyorin (B) Hyungseok nodded and looked at her, a frown on his face. Oh yes he knew them, some of them af least and he hated them.
"Yes, I do," he nodded and his lips. He then whispered quietly: "You still have your weapons too?" He was not good in killing people and he wouldnt but he could injure them, he knew how to make them defenseless.
@Min Hyorin (B) Hyungseok frowned and looked at the other. He wasnt sure if he should tell her his name, it didnt feel right.
"Now I am your friend," he mumbled because they now had the same target. How had he been so stupid and tried to save this s life? Never would he do such a mistake again. He frowned and noticed that his hands were free. Not tied neither handcuffed. He even had his daggers with him. Oh those stupid idiots.
@Min Hyorin (B) Hyungseok didnt answer this time. He could see the captain stair at him and he saw his disgusting smirk - he would definitely not let him go like this. Gosh, he was so goddamn angry. Did this man really think he'd get rid of him like this? Well sorry, he wouldnt..
He walked with them at let those men put him into a cell on the lower parts of the ship. He could see a few frowning - they knew that he hadnt done anything but they wouldnt disagree with the captain.
@Min Hyorin (B) "Because this is my ing captain," Hyungseok hissed and regretted helping the man. Goddamnit, this only got him into trouble and now he was so annoyed. He helped this man only to get arrested and later probably tortured. He would definitely help that woman escape so she could finish her mission. This man, this reckless captain, wouldnt get away with it. No.
Hyungseok frowned.
"Why do you ask me? I am not your partner or anything!" Hyungseok eyes widened when the men grabbed them to capture them. This was a goddamn joke! He made sure this was safe and he wanted to torture him? Gosh, what was wrong with this goddamn life? He frowned and let them take him with them. This was not okay. He would find a way to escape, definitely.
If she hadnt lifted her goddamn dress! Hyungseok could hve made up a storry and get her out but now it was too late. He looked around confused because the weapons were pointed at him too.
He bit his lip - , what were they supposed to do now? He looked at the captain, saying something like "I knew there was something going on" - but Hyungseok didnt really listen. He frowned -of course the captain would take an opportunity to get rid of him. He hated him but had never found a way to get rid of him if it wasnt Hyungseoks fault. He hissed - .
It took a few moments until Hyungseok realized what her target was - it even took him so long to notice that she had a target, that she was looking for someone. His eyes widened while he followed her - if he was good in something then it was hiding and following people without getting noticed.
When he noticeda movement that clearly showed him she was about to do something very obvious he reached over and held her arm, looking up at her.
"If I were you, I wouldnt do that," he said and looked at her, his eyes quite determined.
@Min Hyorin (B) Hyungseok was quite surprised when the young woman with the beautiful dressed stopped quite close to him. He could hear the people talk and he noticed that she was listening to them, the smirk was noticable. Hyungseok took another sip from the wine and leaned back, watching the people. He could recognize many of them - he was good in remembering faces and information to them but a few of them he couldn't name. Just like the woman in front of him.
He frowned when a broad man walked to something that looked like a small stage and coughed, making sure everyone was listening. Ah, yeah, right, there was always such a boring monolgue on such events. Hyungseok sighed and saw his captain and a few crew members leaving the room and going to another one, probably a calmed one. No surprised, no one would listen to this bull if they didnt have to.
@Min Hyorin (B) It was surprisingly crowded and loud as Hyungseok made his way to the buffet, getting a few snacks. One of the wealthier people had invited a few members of his crew - a while ago they had helped this man and they found it a good reward to invite them to this exaggerated event of people with ugly personalities showing their oh-so-pretty faces. Hyungseok wasn't quite sure why he was here but he remembered the captain telling him he had to go because otherwise it would be extremely unfriendly - he also mentioned the possibility of stealing some nice jewelry. Not that the pricy chain around his neck wasn't enough worth. Hyungseok snorted.
He wouldn't steal a thing, no. He would eat, drink, maybe even get a bit drunk and then leave. If anyone would let him drink, that was. He had already been asked three times if he was even legal.
Hyungseok made sure the mask over his eyes was still where it should be before he made grabbed a few more snacks and looked for a place to stay.
The people around him were wearing some fancy and beautiful dresses and that was something that cheered Hyungseok up. Beautiful clothes always made him happy even though that was pretty weird. He saw a young woman with a beautiful, short red dress - it suited her well and made her look good. He tilted his head slightly - something of her presence confused her. He couldn't tell what exactly it was but there was something, his intuition told him to keep watching her. But maybe he was just blinded by her presence. Maybe he already had had too many drinks. Yep. Definitely.
