Market

@Kyungri (B) It hurt. Her words hurt and hit him right in his heart.
She was doing it before he did it to her? Had he treated her so badly that she thought he would do this to her? He bit his lip and tried to hide the disappointment and sadness in his eyes.
"Did I really make you feel like I am this kind of a person?" he whispered and closed his eyes for a long moment, taking a shaky breath inside. He hadnt expected her to think like this of him and it really hurt. They were friends and friends would never abandon each other, would they? But here they were and Kyungri was throwing him away.

"But you are saving yourself from something that wont ever happen," Hyungseok whispered. "And while doing so you are throwing me away. You were about to run away and never see me again. That is throwing me away."
He took a shaky breath.
"I would never toss you aside or... or hand you in." Why would he? There was no reason. "I'd rather die than handing you in. After all you are my friend." He looked down and tried to keep himself under control.
He had been stupid. There was no one that would keep him for a longer time, at some point they would all leave him but here he was, hoping for the best. How idiotic of him.

@Park Hyungseok (P) Just the way that Hyungseok looked at her made her feel guilty to her stomach, sick because she was doubting herself and the course she'd taken that purposefully drove away from the one he would be on. Her lips trembled for the slightest of moments and someone might have even noticed if they'd been paying her attention, her orbs cast to the side as she composed herself for the time being and then brought her gaze back to the only many she'd ever known beyond the walls she still had nightmares about. What was she meant to tell the man? That an irrational fear had overwhelmed her of how he'd just leave her behind because she couldn't offer him anything? Perhaps it wasn't so irrational to her mind when she was faced with odds she couldn't dream of matching up to.

"I'm doing it before you do it to me, Hyungseok. If I've learned anything in the short time I've lived on this land, its that you can only trust someone as far as you'd be able to throw them. I... I can't stand it, waiting for the day you toss me aside or hand me in or whatever best suits you at the time. You're so kind that I'd break the day you did do it to me... I swear." The words were hushed and rushed as the priestess had moved closer to the man so he could hear what she'd say, her eyes flitting to his neck to see if she could spot the necklace she'd handed him so quickly before. Kyungri lifted her head then and the morning sun that continued to rise in the sky lit up her features as the world was once more reminded why such a pure looking soul was chosen for something so crooked and cryptic as the religion she'd been forced into.

"I'm not throwing you away, i'm saving myself because no one else is going to do it for me..."

@Kyungri (B) A bit breathless Hyungseok got closer, stopping when Kyungri seemed to step back. What was going on, why was she like this? He bit his lip and looked at his friend. Had he done something bad? In fact he somehow was even surprised that the other stopped and looked at him, asking him what he wanted.
Yeah, what exactly did he want? Say goodbye? Talk? Have an explanation? He wasnt sure. He felt sad, Kyungri seemed to not want to talk to him at all, to not want to see him at all and that hurt. He took a shaky breath and closed his eyes for a long moment.

Finding the right words were hard and he wasnt sure which to choose? Had it been something he had said yesterday? But he had just told her he knew someone that would help her and that he had someone he wanted to see. Still needed to but he had wanted to introduce Kyungri or something like this. After all they were friends, werent they? They had experienced quite a bit together and now she was just abandoning him and running away like this?
It wasnt fair at all.
"Why are you leaving me behind? Why are you throwing me away like this?" As if he wasn't worth more.

@Park Hyungseok (P) Having been about to step out to make her move for the mare she'd chosen, Kyungri was brought back by the itching sensation of a presence she had become close to, the sound of the nickname only one person had for the young woman making her turn her head and sure enough, see her old partner there. This was exactly what she /didn't/ want and she couldn't see a way of backing out of it any time soon, a sigh leaving her plump lips as she wondered briefly if she could pretend she hadn't heard or seen the man, though some part of her knew it was too late for that now, the other part knew that wouldn't be fair of her. She owed Hyungseok at least that much.

Retreating from the horses for now, the woman made her way over to the man, keeping her distance so he couldn't reach out and touch her, nor could he see her face she kept hidden in the confines of her hood. The sound of the market starting up for the morning could be heard and it was as if life was playing some cruel joke on Kyungri, for they were so close to the place she'd left the man last time, just yesterday, not even twenty four hours ago.
"What do you want?" whispering under her breath, the priestess wanted to get out of the dire situation as fast as possible though she had an idea Hyungseok would be planning something else entirely. Or, perhaps he was here just to finally say goodbye as well, she wasn't sure which one would break her heart more, that, or him being unkind to her.
Park Hyungseok (P) [A] 8 years ago
@Kyungri (B) Hyungseok had been up early, running through the town like a mad one. He had to find Kyungri but especially in Venria it was hard. And hard to fit in as well. He couldnt keep his hood over his face for too long as people got easily suspicious - no one in Venria would do such a thing. Luckily Misses Kwon had given him fresh clothes, clothes that did not scream "catch me there is a bounty for me" and clothes in which he could easily hide his daggers.
He hadnt really slept much and eating this morning was hadd. He wanted at least a proper goodbye. A real one and not such a thing thst left him with the feeling of getting abandoned.

Rushig through the crowd and towards the docks he stopped were many horses were. He blinked and then looked up, having the feeling he had seen a familiar face. He then looked around and, there! There she was.
He rushed over but then stopp, frowning what she was about to do. She wasnt going to steal a horse, was she?
"Kyu?" He called but not loud enough for the people to get too distracted.

@Park Hyungseok (P) The night had been full of doubts, both of herself and for the road that lay ahead for the young woman. The world was dangerous enough, add on the fact you're a woman, bandit and on the run from an old life didn't exactly leave you with the best odds in the world. Sighing softly to herself, she had rolled over on the rickety bed and had been about to speak to Hyungseok when she was met with nothing but the sound of her own disappointment, her heart aching as she felt the loneliness she'd felt all those times before begin to sink into her now. But this was Kyungri's decision and if anything, she'd learned to be strong enough to stick by them no matter how badly they had turned out to be. With the sounds of drunkards downstairs, fights outsides and the smell of wood burning in fires the young woman drifted to sleep, nightmares plaguing her sensitive mind as her mild telepathic abilities seemed to be flaring up most recently, as if warning her of an oncoming onslaught that there would be no escape from.

Come morning, Kyungri was already at the docks. Her hood up as she watched the boats and heard the men working on them talking about destinations, frustration building in the priestess as she heard most of them going back to places she had just come from and had no intention of returning to in her life. Stalking away from the boats she had her last option, if she was not to travel by see then she'd do it by land. Horses. She needed a horse. Moving to the largest stables in the city she hung around the area, listening to the workers there, trying to decide what horse would be best for her and which would cause least damage to those she took from whilst also doing her some good.
"Hyungseok-" Again she spoke the man's name, though he was not there when she looked to her side of course, a pain coursing through her chest as she felt such a loss from parting ways with him. Turning her attention back to the horses, the woman thought she'd go for the auburn mare, the animal strong and reliable looking enough, she just needed a moment to thieve it away.

@Kyungri (B) Hyungseok had expected everything but not this.
Surely he had known that their journey wouldnt keep on for forever but he had hoped that they would at least find someone else he could trust and let Kyungri continue her journey with. But now here she was, saying goodbye to him and even giving him her precious necklace.
"Kyungri, wait," he was able to call but then she already left and the next thing he saw was children, rushing at him and even though he was sure it wasnt there intent make him fall. He frowned and rubbed his head but only when Kyungri was already gone the children let him alone.

"Was that really necessary?" he whispered and frowned, giving the children the potatoes he had wanted to share with Kyungri. Weren't they friends? Why had she done this? The ex pirate bit his lip. It made him sad. They had experienced quite a bit but now she just left like everyone else, leaving him behind and it saddened him. A frown appeared on his face.
"This really isnt fair," he mumbled and tried to shut everything out, grabbing his things and making his way to the bookshop where the old lady Kwon was working in - he hadn't seen her in a while and of course he really had missed her. She sometimes was like a mother to him.

Of course she easily took him in, she also had quite some work for him as well but he didn't mind at all. Actually he was glad - he had wished Kyungri had been able to meet her as well, she had liked the old woman for sure.
Maybe tomorrow. Maybe tomorrow he could find her again.

@Park Hyungseok (P) Kyungri picked at the bread left in her hands, her appetite suddenly lost but not with the man's words, instead with a simple gesture of his, one he couldn't control and one that told her it was over. The journey she had set out on with him had come to its untimely ending and she was about to put a stop to it before any more of this could go on. Months, months she'd spent with Hyungseok and he'd been the only person she'd known out of the gates of Hayde who hadn't pointed steel and fire her way, he was the only person whom had taken the time to bother to know her a little more though she was now grateful she'd kept more of herself concealed. Seeing a passing small boy of the street, filthy and in rags the woman stopped him gently with a hand to his shoulder, holding out the sizeable share left of her bread she'd wanted but now had no appetite for.

Watching the youth hesitate before taking the item, the female had a moment to whisper something in the boy's ear before he ran off, Kyungri wondered perhaps if that was to be one of her last kind deeds, turning away as she adjusted the hood on her cloak, only the woman's nose-downwards visible to Hyungseok as she spoke.
"Good luck on the rest of your journey. Keep safe, Hyungseok..." the woman's voice did not waver, she'd had years of practice in the prison of the temple to learn to hide her emotions, her hands shaking though in just the slightest manner as she took the necklace from around her nape and placed it around the man's own, latching it into place before her fingers pressed against the cool metal one last time. Turning in that moment, a group of boys just like the one from before with the incident of the bread swarmed around the man, keeping him back as the priestess took her leave.

Steps she'd learned to fasten in her time gone, Kyungri was out of sight in a matter of moments, looking for somewhere she could hide for the night, take refuge before she could leave this island as well. Gazing into a hearth she passed on the street, the female remembered the blush that had crept onto Hyungseok's cheeks, a frown forming as she felt so upset by the simple motion, like the floor had been yanked out from beneath her very feet. Climbing a staircase to a nearby residency the woman took refuge in the old building, using the very last of her coin to pay for just one night in the place. From then on she knew she was on her own, to find somewhere to go, to leave another life behind as quickly as she could and that meant Hyungseok too.

@Kyungri (B) Hyungseok had finally found time to relax, slowly eating the food they had bought. A really nice lady he had helped to carry a few things earlier had given them some hot potatoes as well and he was very thankful.
Hot potatoes were a specialty in this part of the kingdom and he hadnt tasted it for a while now, he was glad being back now.
"Mh? Maybe work some?" he wondered and wiggled his head. At least they had clean clothes and the water was well enough for them to wash themselves properly. After all many people smelled like here but at least they were none of them.

"I know someone here I really need to see," Hyungseok then added and blushed a bit.
"But I also know someone that will help us." He smiled warmly. "I am sure she will give us a place to sleep as long as I help her a bit," he added and wiggled his head.
He looked happily at her and ate his food, humming softly. "Fresh bread in Venria is really nice." He wasnt entirely sure whatthey should do now and what was going on in Kyungri's head but they would surely find a way.
Kyungri 8 years ago
@Park Hyungseok (P) Having sailed for some time with Hyungseok, the two had managed to find themselves some brief relief on a ship, one stocked with cargo and lucky enough to have not been stopped for its holdings along the way. The journey had been long and arduous to say the least but the two of them had not gotten off until they had reached the land of Venria, a place where no one was looking for Kyungri, yet. As they had gotten off of the ship it seemed the two of them had walked right into the city's market, the dirty streets filled with people and their goods being sold, the smell of fresh bread coming from somewhere and for a moment, just a moment, Kyungri was distracted.

With just a glance, the two exchanged the agreement to find themselves food with the last bit of coin they had from their journey, the coin Kyungri had stolen from the priests on her escape that felt so long ago, but not far enough as a distant memory yet. Acquiring some fresh fruit and some of that bread (the bandit was not going to be appeased unless she had gained just a little bit) the two of them had found a spot by one of the alleys, standing in each other's presence as they at finally.
"What shall we do now...?" The woman had been having the same question go round her skull for the past month or so they'd been travelling. What was she to do now? What was he to do? She wasn't the only one who ran and she knew that yet... there was nothing to keep the two of them together. After all, Kyungri was nothing more than an ex-priestess, she had nothing more in the way to offer Hyungseok. She was not as trained as others in terms of combat or thieving, instead she was struggling to merely find her place in this world now that she'd run from her pre-planned one.

He'd throw here away. All she could do now was...

Wait.

@Tomia (B) Jeonghan smirked. “Only at times am I a cruel liar. Only when I need to be!” He responded to her questions in all honesty. He had never promised to be good nor bad, he was truly both depending the situation. However his thoughts were quickly shoved aside as she had managed to get him to the ground, climbing up on top of him and caressing his cheek. He simply glared and kept his arms around her, holding her in place as best as he could. They were far enough that no one would really realize what was happening.

His eyes quickly opened wide as her wig fell away and her thick raven colored locks fell on either side of his head, creating a sort of veil obscuring his face. Her finger moving to lift his head and the prince simply allowing it as he watched her. Without the wig, she looked so much more beautiful and in all sincerity he was in awe. Of course, it didn’t last long as he scowled and pushed his weight up, causing her to lose balance before rolling her over and now being on top of her. His eyes staring down intently into her face and the mess of black now on the ground. “I could very well have you hanged for all you have done.” He said in a low tone, leaning down much like she had earlier, his face on her neck, his breath tickling her skin before he moved to speak into her ear. “Little boy? I might look like a woman but i’m still a man underneath it all.”

He smirked and did not pull away quickly, simply speaking a bit longer. “And you are in quite the predicament” With that, he bit her ear to distract her, his hands roaming her body but only to find the jewels and snatch them from her. Once he could feel them, he tugged and scrambled away, smirking. “You’re right though. I prefer a woman. Not a child like you.” He held the jewelry up as if to show his prize and taunt her.

@Tomia (B) He heard out what Tomia was speaking about, smirking ever so slightly. “What? Of course I wasn’t one hundred percent sure! You wore a damn bow over your neck. Obviously not an ameature.” He smirked and looked around, trying to see ways on how to corner her as he spoke. “And of course, had I known I might have allowed you to keep the rubies, for a price.” He said smirking her way. Her words about kindness. “You never lied about being anything, however I also never said I was kind.” He said as he took a step forward with every step she took back.

“I also never swore I was honest” He said before narrowing his perfect eyebrows at her. Was she mocking him? Oh she would pay dearly for that, or so he thought as he straightened. “It’s sad, that the woman dressed as a man, would speak ill of women.” He rolled his wrist. “I am also against hitting women, unless it’s to bend them over my knee and give them a good slap” And with that, he had taken the satchel he carried and threw it at her for diversion before lunging forward to grab her, aiming to press her close to him and subdue.

(Ok, so he jumped her, but it’s up to you if he does grab her or not. xD )
Yoon Jeonghan (R) [A] 8 years ago
@Tomia (B) He could already tell the woman was cringing at his words. If only he could see her neck, he would be sure that “he” was actually a “she”. If there was one thing Jeonghan knew, it was crossdressing. He was about to take his rubies, when something the woman said caught him off guard. “So you could tel--Hey!” He watched as the woman snatched the rubies, a bit stunned at her actions as she pulled off the ribbon and he saw that she was indeed a female. His smirk spread over his lips as he saw her placing the goods well, with her /goods/. “I never hid I was a man...I simply do as I--” He trailed off as she took off. Sure he was angry that she stole the rubies, but he was mostly angry that she left without letting him finish. HOW ING RUDE!

Before the clerk could yell out thief, Jeonghan dashed out the door and ran with his heels, a talent he was quite proud of. He wasn’t overly strong but he sure as hell was smart and /fast/. He quickly made his way through the street, following her trail and smirking as he saw her going towards a street that interjected with another one he knew well. He simply took a detour and headed that way, soon enough catching up to her and coming out of nowhere in front of the street where she was headed. If he wasn’t so busy with this chase and trying to keep his breath leveled, he would have patted himself on the back. “STOP THIEF! THOSE ARE MY JEWELS!” He said in an angry tone. “I knew you were a woman from the start….Because of that I would have allowed you to keep them, but to lie and then steal them!? Don’t lie, they aren’t for your mother, you just wish to pawn them so fork them over before I have you arrested and locked for life!” He hissed, taking a step towards her.

@Tomia (B) Jeonghan watched the young “man” smirking as he saw faint features that resembled that of a womans. He tried to look at the young mans throat, to be able to see if he had an adams apple...But the damn bow hid whatever lay underneath. However his curiosity was placed on a halt as the young man began to speak, his eyebrows raising. “So you’re one of those /men/?” He asked quietly, not really caring if the ‘man’ was gay. He himself had found men attractive before but never enough to actually sleep with any of them. He always found them sweaty and loud. He then turned back to the counter eyeing the rubies and wondering about the man’s mother before simply adding. “I don’t know how you can deal with a sweaty man, really. Although you look like a woman.” He said without a care.

He then turned to her and smirked. “Very womanly…..” He moved a finger to the young “man” and lifted his chin. “So I guess I can see where a man would want to press you down and make you a pillow bitter.” He said before retrieving his hand. “Unlike you, I’d rather the sweet scent of a woman under me….Her taste on my tongue. It’s like eating flowers or sweet fruit.” He smirked. “You can’t do that with a man. It’s not the same.” He flipped his hair and turned back to the counter. “I’m sorry about your mother” He said, uncaring and not even feigning a smile. He waved down the clerk and smiled at them. “I’d like to buy these, please wrap them up and hand them to me.” He said before looking at the man. “But she won’t be getting the rubies.” He looked around. “Those opals look nice, go look at those little /boy/” He then turned back to the clerk, waiting for them to wrap them up so he could give them a bag filled with gold.
Yoon Jeonghan (R) [A] 8 years ago
@Tomia (B) Venria, the trading capital of Silvatica. Now, what would the prince of Hesna be doing here you might ask? Well, simple….He wanted to travel and spend his gold. This was Venria after all and he always came here when he wanted strange or odd pieces. The moment he had arrived, he took to the castle, greeting the royals, bring them gifts and of course speaking about politics. It bored him out of his mind and on his third day, he took to the streets, dressed in his female attire and looking around the marketplace as he walked.

Most stores had your regular run of the mill dresses and jewelry and although he was rather pleased with most of it, he decided to continue walking, heading towards a certain store he liked to visit. On the way, he could feel men leering at him and he simply jutted his chin up and continued to walk gracefully. He however took the occasional glance to the women around him, keeping his gaze on some a bit longer than expected. Some were ugly, others ordinary but Venria had a keen selection of beautiful women no matter what. He idly wondered if he would end up bedding one today or if he would rather not. A shrug of the shoulders told him he might not end up doing it. It had been a long while before a woman made him take true interest.

By the time he reached the store and stepped inside, he could tell there were a bit of women crowding the outside of the store and looking inside. He idly wondered what their eyes were centered on when he saw “Him”. Jeonghan took notice of a beautiful young man near the counters and part of him was amazed and actually attracted to him, while the other wrinkled his nose and scoffed. He was better looking in boy clothes! A hand moved to flip his hair as he made his way to the counters, not wasting time and asserting his dominance by stepping next to the young “Man” and looking into the counter. He had wanted to say something witty as an introduction but stopped himself as he noticed the ruby set and his eyes opened wide. “Waaah….Beautiful.” He whispered finger pressed on the glass counter before giving the man a sideways glance and then returning to the set. “Are you planning to purchase this for your sweetheart?” He said, wanting to know if the other had wanted it and was set to deter him to get it so he could buy it himself. “What a lucky girl.” He spoke in his androgynous soft tone, turning back to the rubies. GOD he wanted them all.
Park Hyungseok (P) [A] 9 years ago
@Jung Hoseok (B) (60 hours per week? Holy ig . I hope it wont exhaust you too much! And it is totally rine, your reply was still awesome!)

Hyungseok hummed quietly and kept watching Hoseok. He looked handsome, he had nice features and a really well shaped body. He looked muscular - maybe too kuscular for a simple commoner or traveller. But who knew? Hyungseok himself looked too skinny for a pirate, too tiny. Probably even too innocenr. People usually didnt think he could fight and protect himself, no, they thought they could get their way with him, make him do things he didnt want. But if Hyungseok had learned one thing while being a pirate for so many years it was how to protect himself from the bad men mothers always warned their children of.

"They are," he said and nodded. "Pirates and bandits are equally harmful and make huge messes. But I mean in Ferric. The pirates have been a threat in Ferric for years but the bandits are currently increasing and getting more and more dangerous. But you are right. They are equally horrible and terrifying." He sighed slightly and made a worried face but it was fake. But he was a good actor, thankfully.
"Ferric is turning into a quite dangerous place." He frowned. He didnt like Ferric, he didnt like returning anywhere near his old home - but his biggest fear could be everywhere he went. It was always in danger.

"I have heard of a few Robin Hood bandits. When I was a child I always looked up to them," he said and it was the truth. He still did. Hyungseok often wished he could be such a bandit, stealing for the poor and weak, but all he was able to was save children from the soldiers, making sure they didnt get harmed. He often spent his time running around and bringing children home - the soldiers didnt back off if it came to children. No matter if it had only stolen an apple or was simply a child of a pirate - soldiers didnt care. The government didnt care.
"The world needs more of them."

He then chuckled slightly, looking at Hoseok. "I travel a lot and I am very social." Ho. Nope he wasnt, not even slightly. But the travelling was true. "And I like good stories so... yeah. But yes, I am from Ferric. And you?"
He rubbed his head slightly - it looked real but it felt so wrong. He kept walking and hummed. "Spicy food should be no problem," he added then while he opened the door of a restaurant. "This one here is really good and favourable. Come in."
Park Hyungseok (P) [A] 9 years ago
@Jung Hoseok (B) Hyungseok sighed and looked at Hoseok. “I know, many people think I am underaged,” he mumbled. Well, even if, many did not really care – why should they? He was just a kid they wanted to get their way with, they didn't care much about age. But yes, the other was probably right, only kids had to proof they were adults. But he didnt know much about it.
“Mh?” he said and shrugged slightly. “It is just a name.” A name he was okay with, his mother had chosen it so it was a good thing, something he quite liked sometimes when he got a bit sentimental.
He nodded and quietly repeated the name of the other. He had noticed the tiny hesitation – maybe the other had thought of giving him a nickname instead of this name but Hoseok was a nice name.
“Okay, Hoseok. Nice to meet you,” he hummed and watched the other keeping an eye on the chainmail.

He nodded slightly and tilted his head a bit. Hoseok was a smart guy, obviously, and he knew the right reasons why Ferric's weapons were so easy and why Venria's were so expensive.
“Yeah. Besides that Venria is much corrupter than Ferric is and that alone makes 10% of the price.” He shrugged and sighed. He tilted his head when he heard Hoseok speaking about the pirates and shrugged.
“Pirates often take the weapons from the ships close to Ferric. The bandits are the greater problem, their number is increasing.” He was from Ferric and while the pirates still was a huge problem the bandits was what was really worrying the people. “But well, we are in Venria and that means we are quite safe, mh?” He showed him a slight smile and watched him buy the chainmail. Something was off, maybe it was the way the man spoke, maybe the way he moved but there was something off but Hyungseok couldn't quite tell what it was – and then again he didnt care enough to pay too much attention.

Hyungseok looked surprised at Hoseok when he heard the other's words. Cute and a market genius? Well, he took that as a compliment.
“I am just passing by, travelling around you could say,” he said and shrugged. “Today it's Venria. And you? Besides being handsome and so cheery?” He kept showing him a soft smile, the other was somewhat friendly and Hyungseok wasn't really used to friendliness. It was nice.
He blinked and nodded then. “Uh, sure. Do you want to eat something special or is any restaurant okay?” he wanted to know and looked at the other. Thankfully he knew many towns and especially Venria was one of his expertise. “Are you sure you want to pay for my meal too?” They were in Venria and everything in Venria was extremely expensive, even the cheap restaurants Hyungseok knew. But if the handsome man offered it so easily like this he would gladly accept. He hadn't been offered something like this for quite a while now. “Follow me, okay?”

(yes, this was more than alright! x3 it was very good <3 and of course I wait :3 )
Park Hyungseok (P) [A] 9 years ago
@Jung Hoseok (B) (Take your time and dont feel stressed! I'll be on for a while and even if you wont make it in time, it is no problem! =) And I am glad you like it! I like yours a lot too x3)

Hyungseok tilted his head slightly. He had noticed a slight movement but maybe he was only imagining things. He was tired and just wanted to sleep but he probably wouldnt get some for a while. Maybe he should try and eat something but if he was honest he was scared of puking again. He was really done with this . Being a pirate was nothing for him, even after nine years, and especially now that the old captain had died and his reason of being a pirate was gone he surely would find a good time to leave the ship. But he couldnt tell anyone, leaving the crew like he was going to do was betrayal and he was too young to die.

He hummed and shrugged slightly.
"You are welcome," he said and looked at the other. "You should go to Ferric if you plan to buy armor. They sell it for less than it is worth." He had been everywhere, after nine years there was barely a place he hadn't been. He looked at him and slowly walked to another stall. "I am not a kid," he then said and frowned. He knew he looked young, skinny and fragile but he was stronger than most of his enemies thought and he was good in fighting with daggers and a genius in archery. Oh. And fast. He was damn ing fast. His height was just lacking but that mostly was advantageous. Still, he really disliked being called a kid - sure, many people did not see him as an adult but being seen as a kid was not really what he wanted. Besides that after living nine years on the goddamn sea and on his own he had probably matured more than many people thought. His crew respected him - but how should this man know? Exactly, he couldnt.

"My name is Hyungseok," he added and looked at the other male. "What is yours?" He then found the right stall he was looking for, nodding towards the chainmail.
"This one is better and the material isn't as ty as the other."
Park Hyungseok (P) [A] 9 years ago
@Song Victoria (C) It was hot and sticky and even though this was normal for this time of the year, especially in Venria, it made Hyungseok so tired and exhausted. He hadn't been sleeping for the past few days, at least not more than a few hours. The temperatures from the coast mixed up with the quite cold wind of the sea which caused quite many storms and that had ended up with Hyungseok not being able to keep his food in for the past few days as well – and also no sleep. He was easily seasick, which was probably hilarious as he was a pirate, had been a pirate for the last 9 years – and he still couldnt survive for quite long on a pirate ship. Usually he stayed a few days on land when they reached a city but right now a lot had happened and he couldnt just stay here, especially not in Venria.
He had bought a few herbals while a handful of his men were selling some of the treasures they had stolen – Hyungseok had decided not to join them this time. He wasn't in the mood for it and he trusted them enough to go alone.

He was just checking out some daggers when a man talked to him, bright smile and handsome face.
“Young man... Could you tell me what this chainmail is worth?” For a moment he looked confused at him – was he thinking he was working here?
For a moment he thought of telling him off but he was not in the mood to be rude and unfriendly, plus this man looked nice, the bright smile cheered him up.
“I am not working here but they sell it for far more than it is worth. Give them ten to twenty silver coins – they want fifty and this is way too much. The material is not the best here. Even bandits and pirates dont steal so much from you like these people here try to get from you,” he said and tilted his head. He was surprised that the young man was looking for some armor. He was skinny and tall, handsome – he didn't look like a soldier or a fighter in general. He looked more like a smart guy, someone that knew many strategies and not someone who fought in wars.

“I have seen some better armor over there, I can show you, if you'd like to?” he then offered. He still had some time to spend and he had nothing else to do besides wasting some time or going back to the ship. And he would rather drown himself than going back on board right now. He needed some time on this precious ground and he was glad he had the opportunity doing so.

@Jung Taekwoon (R) Ryeowook nodded. "You're very welcome. Let someone call out for me if you should have any troubles, okay?" he said softly and good up. "Please rest well." He bowed towards the servant, then he gathered everything and picked his bag up, leaving the room again.

@Kim Ryeowook (C) The servant nodded. "I'll find another servant to bother, to bring them in here to entertain me." He smiled softly. "Thank you, Doctor. I would like to rest, right now. If you don't mind.. I would be much appreciative. Again, thank you so much for all that you've done."

@Jung Taekwoon (R) "Maybe you could tell someone to give him a massage? If he's really busy it might help hm relax," Ryeowook said with a soft smile. "I'm sorry to hear you're bored. Try to keep someone nearby, maybe that'll help against your boredom. I just don't know if there'll be enough people off at the same time.

@Kim Ryeowook (C) The servant sighed softly. "I guess your right.. Maybe I'll do that. But, the prince is awful busy lately. I don't know if I'll be able to see him today or not. But thank you for your advice." He gave Ryeowook a soft smile. "I'll take it into consideration and I might use it. Thank you." He sighed and shifted in the bed to look up at the ceiling. "I've counted every ceiling tile at least a dozen times."

@Jung Taekwoon (R) Ryeowook thought about it for a moment. "You could talk to your prince. Maybe you could tell him a story or ask him to tell you something that upsets him a lot lately. Maybe you could also help him sort a few papers or read through them." He shrugged softly. "But take it this way - right now you're the one giving orders," he said and winked, meaning it in a positive, joking way.

@Kim Ryeowook (C) The servant nodded softly. He let out a soft sigh. "This .. I don't know what to do with myself. I've never been out for more than a day. It feels weird to lay here and do nothing. It , if I'm being quite honest. What am I supposed to do?"

@Jung Taekwoon (R) Ryeowook laughed softly. "Of course you're going to live, don't worry~ Yes, there probably will be a scar, but it won't be bad.The pain should be gone throughout the day already. It'll take us a few more days to get through with everything but definitely no more than a week."

@Kim Ryeowook (C) "So," the servant said after he had been checked over. "How does it look?" He looked up at Ryeowook. "Do you think that I'm going to live? Am i going to have a scar?" He sighed and looked up at the ceiling. "And how long before the pain goes away?"

@Jung Taekwoon (R) Ryeowook looked at the bag questioningly for a moment, then he nodded. "Thank you," he said with a warm smile and took the bag from the young woman, then he went further to the hurt slave to tend to his wounds again. While he was sitting with the servant, he was talking to him about small nothings.

@Kim Ryeowook (C) Another servant opened the door and let Ryeowook in. She led the male up to the servant's quarters so he could check on her fallen coworker. Once they got to the door, she held out a bag of coins. "This is your payment from before."

@Jung Taekwoon (R) (Alright.)

The next day, Ryeowook went back to the castle after having eaten breakfast. He stretched a little and hummed, approaching it. Once he was there, he knocked and waited to be let in so he could tend to the wounds of the hurt servant.
