@moon gayoung "Makes sense though I never did either. The whole yellow eyes and wings thing kinda makes people question things." He said.
He didn't mind helping his friend out he had for this long why would he stop now.? It was what he did they were basically like family so there was no problem from his end in fact he liked helping her. It meant he could be all kinds of helpful.
"I just got a salad with some streak in it." He said xhuckling as the scavenger inside not taking anything to chance. "I wasn't sure what you wanted so I grabbed a selection."
@hakyeon "It's not like I'm ashamed," she responded almost automatically, "I just don't like answering questions."
It'd become somewhat of a greeting between them and Gayoung felt bad that she was making him worry so often. She stopped twiddling her thumbs. When would she learn to stop relying on her best friend, she wondered. As much as she knew Hakyeon didn't mind, it still bothered her to remember all of the times he stood up for her and she couldn't do anything for him.
"What has the great chef made today?" she smiled, resting her chin between her two propped hands.
@moon gayoung "You need to stop wearing that windbreaker, it's not your fault you know." he said to the girl as she got to him. He couldn't really talk really considering the fact he wore contact lenses to hide his eyes and hoodies to hide his wings. But there was nothing wrong with her. It wasn't her fault that her counterpart is a whale. They have known each other since they were kids and they have been sticking up for each other the entire time. To the point where Hakyeon was hospitalized for defending her, that was only once and one of his wings were broken, something he had nothing to do with. "Come on I got you lunch." he said nodding his head.
@hakyeon Hands shoved into the pockets of her windbreaker, Gayoung padded into the nearly full cafeteria. Her eyes were shifty, darting from corner to corner in a fierce anxiety to find her friend. She didn't do well in crowds and she wished for a second that she had Hakyeon's sharp eyes. As if he'd heard her internally call his name, her avian friend popped his head up from the mess of bodies. Gayoung relaxed instantly. A smile stretched her lips as she made her way to the male, squeezing past a particularly noisy group of foxes.
As if sensing his disapproval regarding her heavy jacket, she grew pink as fiddled with the ties at the hood, mumbling something about,'it's cold nowadays'.
@jackson Yubin saw Jackson cringe a bit, and she decided it must've been from him remembering his past date. She didn't rush him in answering, and she didn't have to. After a few seconds of silence, the male spoke again. It was difficult for Yubin not to get lost in his voice, as it was so damn enticing, she could listen to him say anything and never get bored. However, she knew it would be a bit rude to sit there and stare at him instead of cooperating in the conversation. "I know exactly what you mean. I don't prefer people who act exactly like everyone else." She didn't commit much to going off on her own banter about how much she hated when people followed a crowd, because as soon as she stopped to take a sip of her water, he was talking again. Of course, the senior didn't mind this. In fact, she liked it, a lot. Someone who also talked a lot was perfect for her, and she knew she would never be bored with him. When he said he would stop talking, Yubin waved a hand dismissively setting her glass down on the table top. "Please don't, I prefer you to talk a lot. It keeps the conversation alive. Besides, I want to know more about you." She interlaced her fingers and rested her chin gently on them so she could look over at him. "Like, your animal DNA, and what you're studying. What are your dreams? What's your favorite color? After all, the whole point of a date is to get to know each other, right?" She let a toothy grin play on her glossed lips as she traced the lip of the glass in front of her with her fingertip.
"It's funny, because I was just thinking the same thing, Jackson." Yubin insisted when he'd mentioned hanging out with her more. "I do have to say that you are probably the most lively date I've ever met. I really like it. I feel like I don't have to watch what I say or pretend to be someone else around you." She gave a little nod towards him. "You're definitely the most talkative. It's nice."
Yubin noticed his reaction to the mention of steak immediately, and she also noted how similar they seemed. If she was offered such a delectable treat, she would've been foaming at the mouth. His eyes got brighter and he almost seemed to sit up straighter in his seat. Yubin couldn't help but giggle a bit to herself at how cute it was, as there was something childlike and sweet about Jackson. It was a pleasant surprise from the other guys she'd met in the past- complete sleazebags, every one of them. Saying she could eat however much she wanted practically sealed the deal for her. She flashed him a bright white smile and nodded. "Oh, of course I will!" She hummed, then looked at him with a glint of playful deviousness in her eyes. "Oh, are you going to order for me? How gentlemanly of you!"
@yubin Jackson cringed at the memory, he wasn't saying that he didn't like to brag if he was good at something. Well if people do have a talent in anything, they should illustrate it or at least that's what he think and does. "Uh, wouldn't you find it a bit annoying if people are focused on their make rather than in the conversation that you date might be trying to indulge in or like you said before pretend that they don't eat real food. I like people who aren't afraid to show their true selves, isn't that what makes each individual unique? "He answered with a shrug of his shoulders, he kept abusing his lower lip while taking a breath only to continue speaking again. Yes, he liked talking a lot. You can't blame him for that. "And I am enjoying your company a lot, so don't worry about it. And I am going to stop now because i am talking way too much. "He chuckled loudly as he decided to scan the surroundings thinking that his date might find him weird if he continued to stare.
The blonde found himself feeling flattered by the girl's complement, his grin growing wider and he wondered if his facial muscles are going to go stiff because of smiling too much. "I should start hanging around you a lot." He joked even though he meant everything he said. The Chinese loved associating with people who didn't judge him for how he was and Yubin was exactly that. Maybe this date would turn out better than excepted, he hoped it would.
That faint blush decorating the senior's cheeks didn't go unnoticed by the male but he shrugged it off thinking it might be because the room was warm. His ears twitched at the mention of steak and his face brightened up like a child getting his Christmas presents and immediately nodding at the suggestion. "Steak sounds goods. Eat as much as you want, ok? "He reassured with a soft smile, he set the menu down drumming his fingers against the smooth surface as he sat up straight ready to place the order.
@jackson The senior watched the male's reactions and listened to his voice, which was nice on the ears. Her name seemed to slip off his tongue perfectly, leaving her a bit shy as her face reddened slightly at the sound, something rather unusual for her. She was usually not so easily tossed into a blushing mushy mess, how did she come to be one now? She couldn't help but giggle a bit as he started to speak again as her large, amber eyes scanned him over and traced his movements. "Oh, is that so? I don't mean to be nosy, but what exactly happened that could've scarred you so badly?" Yubin leaned a bit closer, smiling softly, "And I'm not sure about you, but I'm really happy you didn't say no to this."
She laughed softly once more, this time setting the menu down folded in front of her. She was a little surprised when he said that girls who eat a lot were attractive to him, but she found it attractive in him that he could admit what he likes so easily. Titling her head slightly, Yubin rested her cheek against her palm. "I don't think it makes you weird," she hummed, looking up at him, "I just think you're honest. And on top of that, you're not afraid to be honest about something like that. Most guys wouldn't say that. Most guys would just agree with whatever the girl says regardless of their own opinions." She batted her long, thick eyelashes a few times before adding, "It's good to see you're not like other guys, Jackson."
His stare was so inviting, his smile so charming; Yubin felt her heart skip a beat as their eyes met, and she was instantly lost in his, unable to break the contact even if she wanted to. "Me? I think I'll just have the steak, rare. Well, whatever their "safe alternative" is to steak here. What were you going to have?" She glanced around the venue at the other patrons enjoying their meal as she her lips, her nose twitching slightly as she was able to smell the aromas of some of the dishes, "I hope they're speedy in the kitchen. I'm starving."
@yubin Jackson simply chuckled in response deciding not to reply about the comment which he found quite funny. He mirrored the girl's action and reached out to hold the menu in his hand, reading the menu carefully with his tongue poking out. "Ah, Yubin, that's nice. "He replied politely looking up from the menu briefly to have a glance at her. So he was right, Yubin was her name. He laughed at the question before shaking his head. "No, not after the last blind date. Let's just say the previous date left quite an impression on me so I was still debating on whether to agree on this date or not. "The male laughed while combing his fingers through his hair, leaning back on the chair to meet her eyes once again.
The blonde male found himself enjoying the company of this young beautiful woman even though it had only been a few minutes with her. She was different from all the girls he had dated before. It was quite refreshing to met someone different. "Of course not. You can order whatever you wish to eat. Believe me, I am not one to judge on their appearance or appetite since I have a large appetite myself. "He answered while trying to stifle the laughter that threatened to escape his lips. "Besides I find girls who eat a lot quite attractive, maybe it's just me that thinks so. I guess I am weird one. "He added while shrugging his shoulders.
"So what would you like to eat? "He propped his elbows on the table while lacing his fingers together leaning against the table, a teasing smile tugging the corners of his lips as he stared at Yubin.
@jackson "Oh, good!" Yubin smiled up at him as he rose from his seat. Hearing that she'd hadn't been as late as she'd originally thought gave her mind a bit of relief. She was sure she was running late, but even if he had been waiting for long, would he really have told her? He seemed way too polite already, she wasn't sure if he would have. When he pulled out the chair for her, Yubin felt her grin widen even more, "Wow, and here I was convinced chivalry was dead." She tucked the sandy waves behind one ear as she looked up at her date. "I'm Yubin, by the way. I'm not sure if you knew that yet." The lioness chuckled lightly to herself, "It's been a while since my last blind date like this, do you do this kind of thing often?"
She placed her elbows on the table top and interlaced her fingers to rest her chin on them as she admired his features. He was quite attractive, moreso up close than he had even been from afar, if such a thing was possible. His hair was the lightest shade of blonde she'd ever seen, and his features reminded her of only one noun: he was, to put it simply, an Adonis, a beautiful male specimen that seemed to be almost perfect. She couldn't help the fact that her wide grin danced on her lips as long as it did, he had a certain aura around him that was pretty much addictive.
Yubin glanced down at the table and picked up the menu in front of her, opening it up and beginning to read, trailing a slender digit along the words as she read them in her head, she continued the chat with her date, "I'm so glad we're here. I'm starving! Ooh, I could really go for a nice, juicy steak. Rare, tender..." She her lips, relishing the thought of such a delectable meal, before she realized what she was doing and laughed softly looking up at him with a playful smirk. "I guess I should be ordering a salad or something small and healthy. That's what girls are supposed to do on dates, isn't it? Make their date think they never eat real food?"
@yubin The Chinese blonde had been sitting on the cafe for quite sometime, he furrowed his brows while checking his reflection on his phone. He had trimmed his hair a bit, his previous golden blonde now dyed a lighter shade much close to a platinum blonde. He looked good, he thought while running his fingers through his hair. He had opted to go with black button down shirt with black skinny jeans with black classic converse. He kept fidgeting in his seat trying to make himself more comfortable in his seat.
"I shouldn't have come here this early. "The male grumbled to himself, he wasn't angry at whoever his friends had managed to score a date with he was just annoyed at himself. He wasnt a fan of blind dates after what happened before, lets jist sayinf the memory of that one blind date still makes him shudder. He wasnt sure why he agreed to this date on the first place. Maybe his friends were playing a prank on him again. Just as he was about to call his friends in hopes of cancelling the date a feminine voice called out his name.
Jackson gulped visibly slowly lifting up his head to meet a pair of lovely eyes which made him sigh in relief. So she doesn't look that bad and sounds nice. In fact she was really pretty. He stood up from his seat to pull out a chair for the girl to sit. Yubin, was it? He wondered smiling warmly at here after nodding his head. "Yes, I am Jackson. It's a pleasure to meet you and no, you didn't make me wait that long. " He chuckled soundlessly settling back on his seat after she occupied the seat he had pulled out. She did appear as a nice person, they could be friends if not more he thought.
Yubin found her hands shaking the tiniest bit as she made her way to the front doors of the cafe. Not because she was nervous, but because she was excited. Her friends never set her up on blind dates, so when they'd told her that they knew a guy that would be perfect for her, she was eager to meet him and get to know him. In general, Yubin didn't go on many dates, anyways. She much preferred to get to know someone in a more relaxed setting, where everything didn't feel as tense as it always did on a first date. She'd noticed that first impressions could be a little nerve-wracking, so adding an extremely tense environment to that could make the encounter a bit awkward. Although she herself had never felt awkward, she didn't exactly want her date to feel awkward, either.Clad in a lilac halter top and a white skater skirt with sneakers, she opened the doors and walked inside. The immediate aroma of meat cooking was the first thing she noticed, her fluffy, rounded sand-colored ears perking up a bit. She knew, of course, that it wasn't real meat, but it still sparked a somewhat instinctive animal mentality in her just to smell it. Her long tail flicked back and forth behind her as she glanced around the place, amber eyes scanning the tables full of people as she searched for someone that could possibly be her date for the evening. Her eyes fell on a male figure, sitting at an otherwise empty table, and she immediately smiled, somehow just knowing that this was the right guy. He was a lot more handsome than she'd been expecting, and she felt her heart skip a beat as she approached him. She tilted her head and let some of her blonde locks fall over her shoulder, a wide and apologetic smile on her face. "Hi there! Are you Jackson? I hope I didn't keep you waiting for too long."
[ sorry if it's a bit short ;; i did the whole thing on a sticky note on my laptop while i was doing other stuff /sobs ]
@chris [ Sorry for the late response bb!! was literally sick all day xP ]
Hyuna couldn't help but giggle at how cute the male was as they walked together to the cafe, reaching her hand out to ruffle his hair gently and playfully, making sure not to entirely mess it up seeing how perfect it looked. "I'm pretty hungry myself," she admitted as she walked inside with him, her ears twitching towards the sounds of the conversation around them and her bushy tail whisking from side to side behind her. A smile graced her red lips as she briefly glanced at him, happy that he was becoming more of himself around her and not the shy student he was in class. Hyuna loved bringing people out of their shells, especially if it meant a new friend.
She approached the line with him, her eyes scanning over the selection of meat as her tail moved a little faster in anticipation. The female hadn't even realized how hungry she was because she had been so absorbed in her own dance as well as Chris'. She was glad he suggested this idea though, seeing that the meat before her was nearly making her drool.
*Among the seats, I scatter a mass of bland flyers printed with the most unflattering photos of Eunbi. *On the bottom of the sheets in fine print reads "Is this really going to be the face of your next secretary"*
@yerim Sojin stopped. "W-what?" She turned around, but Yerim was already gone. Sojin sighed, kicking a tree with her foot. She needed some time to think.
About 40 minutes later after consouling herself, she went up to Yerim's door and knocked. "Yerim? It's Sojin Unni"
@sojin "What's wrong with you?! We're just friends and plus he's gay. He's just using me to make his crush jealous..if you don't believe me, fine by me!" Yerim shouted before running to her dorm
@yerim "Stop, go back to your boyfriend!" Sojin yelled behind her. Seeing her would not help her and her weird emotions. 'Yerim has someone, Yerim has someone, she doesn't want you like that' Sojin thought it over and over, turning a street corner.
@yerim Sojin's eyes widened. "Oh...wow, Yerim, I didn't know that" now what?
Well this was acward. Sojin's braveness disappeared. "Oh ok...well I texted, I guess you didn't get it" she chuckled, standing up. She paused, thinking about saying goodbye and then not. Something churned inside her, a feeling she hadn't felt before and she didn't know why she was feeling it...no way...Jelousy? Ugh Sojin was such a idiot for wanting love from anyone these days...Did she really think about that for Yerim? To be that person? She just meet her...she was too perfect. Sojin was losing her mind.
She quickly grabbed her bag and ran out the door, down the street, needing air and running sounded like just the right air.
@sojin "Actually, he's my boyfriend..I don't remember being your study partner." Yerim said truthfully
The guy winked at Yerim and gave her a kiss on the cheek before looking at Sojin with a smirk on her face. Yerim blushed and fed him a piece a steak to him when he opened his mouth. She even called him cute and adorable.
@yerim Sojin was around, looking for a quiet place to study (with some food of course to go with it) and upon coming, maybe with a little hope of seeing her new friend, Yerim, she walked in and smiled seeing her. But then there was another guy sitting with her. She was dissapointed, at first slowly sitting down at another table. but then she thought "no; she shouldn't be playing with him and him with her. Show her that Unnie wants her time" So sojin got up and scooted next to Yerim.
"Hey Yerim, ohh, you brought a guy friend. But Yerim~, you said you would be my study partner." Sojin frowned.
Next day, Yerim just recently finished with her classes and saw the same guy couple days ago. He saw Yerim and approached her with gave a rose in his hand before giving it to her and smiled. He told her he will order the steak for the both of them to share. Their steak came and began eating as they talk about each other's classes, interest, and other random stuff that they have something in common
@yerim Sojin left the cafe feeling acward, and she scolded herself for stalking the girl. She had never done something so disrespectful, but she figured they had said there silent goodbyes and she belived she wouldn't see the other again. She went to her dorm and sat on her bed, her IPod on shuffle as she chatted on email with some teammates.
@sojin Yerim said goodbye to male and left the cafe. When she left the cafe, she saw Sojin was following her all this time and didn't realize it was her, so she decided to go to her dorm and apologize to her for ignoring her since she feels guilty
@sojin While talking to the male, Yerim began to blush when she noticed a figure behind her. She began to liked his flirty antics and smiled about. She even gave him a friendly kiss on the cheek and he did the same.
@yerim Sojin walked into the cafe and spotted Yermin not too far off. She felt like maybe she was wrong to approach her right now and needed some time to think of a good excuse. She watched a male walk over and start flirting with her. She tsked, not knowing if Yermin liked it or wanted him to go away.
