@hyuna Mino lets out a soft chuckle and tilts his head to the side a little, "well, what would you consider manly?" He raises his hand to playful poke the arched eyebrow on her forehead. He pulls his hand pack and stuffs it into his pockets, rocking back and forth just a little bit. "That...sounds like a great plan," he nods in agreement, definitely not taking it any wrong way. Mino absolutely loved the way he and the girl never seemed to be uncomfortable with each other. It was a nice sort of friendship they had, close enough that strangers would question their relationship, but not to the point it seemed so to the two of them.

@song jieun So he turned to texting, drawing her number up and naming it in his contacts before sending his messages.

'Hey, Hi.. are you missing some books, by any chance? I think I've got yours, they must have gotten mixed up when we dropped them. About that, sorry, that was my fault, I wasn't looking properly and I was also the one who unwittingly and unintentionally "stole" those books you've probably been freaking out about. So.. can we meet sometime so I can return these to you? I'm more than busy during the night time starting today, so midday works for me. What about you? If you were planning to go out anywhere on a specific day, I could meet you there..'
He clicked send before he could pick it apart and tear it up from the inside, but worried afterwards whether it was too long. Was the text intimidating? Maybe he should have divided it up into smaller texts. He didn't know at all, and it was making him seriously nervous.

@song jieun "Ugh..."
Seokjin woke up with head pounding in his skull and throat dry as desert sand. Hangover...
What had he done last night that made his head hurt so much? How much had he drunk? Actually, that didn't matter right now, he decided, it was much more urgent that he find a cure for this headache. When he finally forced himself to stand up out of bed, a little slip of paper fell off of his desk (which was rather precariously close to his bed) and onto the floor. Noticing it, he bent down to pick it up and read it. He smiled a little despite the situation, tucking the note into the back pocket of his jeans, which were neatly folded and hanging from his chair back, before starting to pack up for the day. His first class wasn't until the afternoon, so Jin thought he'd get some kind of a hangover cure before then, then sleep as long as possible until the class started. That would work out... right?

The alarm clock nearly fell off of Seokjin's nightstand when he finally woke up, with the sheer force of his making himself get up and stand on his own two feet. Monday. He had taken back to his bed in the middle of the day to try and sleep off his hangover, but now he was risking being late for the first of his classes today. He really, really couldn't afford to be late, like he would be right now if he didn't get a move on. "Go, go, go.." He muttered to himself as he got dressed and ready to go out. He ruffled his hair and hoped that would be enough to tame it a little, as he couldn't afford to comb it down at the moment, and rushed out, almost forgetting to lock the door to his dorm room. Late, late... Oh god.

Rushing down streets across campus and heading straight for his class, Seokjin gripped his books in his arms, having not had time to look for his bag earlier. He checked his watch, fearing he'd be late... And collided with someone else, knocking both of their things out of each other's hands. .
"Sorry, sorry.. I'm late, I'm rushing, I wasn't looking where I... was... going...." Seokjin slowed in the middle of his sentence as he noticed who it was, mouth open slightly as he looked at her. "Jieun, uh, hi.." And he was more embarrassed and sheepish than worried for his class now, which he really shouldn't be...
He tore his gaze away from the wolf girl, collecting his things and hers into two neat piles, though very sloppily as he was starting to rush again. "I'll, uh, call you, or something. But right now I think we've both got to run.." He flashed a quick smile, hoping it looked as sorry as he felt, and started to walk away. A few paces in, though, Jin turned his head back to look at Jieun, saying: "Thanks, by the way, for.. everything! " and then quickly striding away; he didn't want to be even later than he already was.

It was only very late at night that Seokjin noticed that something was wrong with his pile of belongings. When he had looked through it for one of the textbooks he needed for an assignment he was working on, he had found a book that was definitely not his. He didn't study the arts... what..?
And then he remembered that afternoon, meeting Jieun, collecting their fallen papers...!
"Gah! " Jin wanted to slap himself in the face. "How could you just do something like that?" She must not have been able to learn properly today without this notebook.. He looked further into the pile and found a textbook that wasn't his either. That was a problem.

He needed to contact Jieun straight away.. but how? He looked frantically around the room, searching, searching for anything that could help him -- and then reached into his back pocket, pulling out the note from his jeans and flipping it over to the back.

Song Jieun, ###-###-####.

Okay. He had this under control. All under control.
Fleetingly, Seokjin thought to himself that Jieun must have tried hard to try and contact him before now, but unfortunately only he had her number, not the other way around, so she hadn't been able to.
The phone made its annoying dial tone a couple of times, and Seokjin waited anxiously with it pressed against his ear for her to pick up, but she didn't. Maybe she was busy? It was quite late at night. Maybe the music in the dance studio was too loud or something.

@seokjin To Seokjin,
I don't know how much of last night (or this morning) that you remember, but you had passed out last night from drinking too much at the bar off campus, so I brought you back to dorm so you could rest.
I just wanted to thank you for the fun I had yesterday! I really enjoyed it. I hope you liked it as well.
Maybe we could meet again another time.
From Song Jieun
On the back, the girl quickly wrote her name and phone number before entering again and placing the note on his desk, and then she went home.

() Finally the last part. >.<
song jieun (music4ever-_-kun) 9 years ago
@seokjin "Well, I generally like soft ballads and songs with a slower pace. Like a waltz." She explain, but then realized she had made dance reference. Grimacing in her mind, the girl continued as she realized she hadn't exactly answered his question. "I generally listen to some pop songs, you know the ones on the radio. But I do like some R&B, as I know some amazing songs that would make an amazing piece to choreograph. Otherwise, I generally listen to soundtracks to movies or dramas, or any instrumental music. But to sum it all up, I like anything that is not Electric." She said, struggling slightly in trying to get her thoughts out of her head, as she cautiously sipped the newly made drink in her hand.
Putting her cup down, the girl turned her eyes back to the man in front of her. While she was speaking, Jieun's gazed wandered, moving around the room to her fingers that rested on her lap before heading back to Seokjin, before making another circle, never resting too long on one place.
The wolf looked up at the man as he began to ask his second question. When he stopped halfway, the girl tilted her head slightly, her damp hair falling over her shoulder as she stared at his quizzically. As he leaned close and closer, Jieun's eyes grew wider as she sat in her seat, confused and worried. She tilted forwards a bit, wanting to ask Seokjin if he was alright, but before words could escape, she felt his lips on hers. The girl froze, shocked and still confused, her mind racing, but her body unresponsive. It was only when the man's body began to fall, did she snap out of her frozen state and quickly clutched onto him, her brows furrowing as she gently pushed him back onto his barstool, grunting at the weight before he flopped onto the bar. Quickly, Jieun checked his breathing and temperature. He was breathing fine, but was very warm due to the alcohol. The sharp tang of saltiness reached her nose when she realized he was sweating as well.
The girl frowned as she debated what to do. She could either call someone up and ask them to help her bring Jin back to dorm, or she could stay with him at the bar until he wakes up.
Looking down at the unconscious male, Jieun felt it was better to find someone to help her carry him back to campus. Even with her strength as a hybrid and a dancer, it was going to be difficult to carry a tall unconscious man all the way back to his dorm. Hell, she didn't even know which room was his, or who was his roommate if he had one. Frowning a bit, the girl wrapped her arms around his waist as she shifted his weight onto her side, limping slightly as she dragged Seokjin through the bar, avoiding people the best she could.
Hearing someone call out to her, Jieun stopped and cranked her head around to see the bartender who was serving them earlier come up to them, asking if she needed assistance with her boyfriend. The girl flushed slightly at the comment, as she uttered a soft "He's not my boyfriend." before explaining her situation. The man had kindly offered them a ride back to campus when he was done his shift which was unfortunately in about two hours. Shaking her head, the man asked her if she could like a wheelchair to move Seokjin in, saying it would be easier. Jieun smiled weakly as she nodded, grateful for the idea.
He came back with the wheelchair and helped Jieun shift Jin back onto the chair so he could rest comfortably. The girl bowed and thanked him, promising that she'd bring the wheelchair back the next day as she pushed the unconscious hedgehog out of the bar.
As she arrive back on campus, she immediately headed for the male dorm as she attempted to push the wheelchair silently. Finding Jin's name on the bullentin board, the girl pushed him to his room and to find the door locked. Not a surprise, but Jieun wasn't looking forward to searching for keys on a sleeping person, especially one who kissed her mere minutes ago. Gingerly, the girl's hand slipped into his pocket, pulling out a key and unlocked the door, before slipping it back into his pocket. Wheeling him in, she warily eyed the two beds, one with a sleeping figure and an empty one. Without wasting a second, she lifted the sleeping male and placed him carefully onto his bed. She winced as his body hit the bed with a soft thump, but she quickly dragged the wheelchair out and closed the door behind her.
Stepping out, she realized that she couldn't just leave him there without telling him what happened while he was unconscious. Jieun pulled out her small notebook and wrote a quick note.

@seokjin () v the first half of my reply. Refer to wall message for more information >.<

Hearing the other speak about his passion for cooking, the wolf softened and smiled at him. It was rather a sad story, how his plans were lost because he missed the entrance exam, but he had taken it in a stride and found his own path.
As he continued speaking, the wolf noticed how his words seemed warmer and she smiled inwardly. Jieun enjoyed it when other's opened themselves up to her. It allowed her to know them better and truly love them for who they are. The girl was one who either didn't care, or cared too much. Either best friends, or simply acquaintances. But after this night (or morning), she had a gut feeling that she was going to more than simply acquaintances with her classmate, Seokjin.
The man had continued talking, straying slightly off topic, but the wolf's focus never wavered. She was rather entranced by the story. Ever since she was a young girl, Jieun had loved listening to personal stories or rather stories about people's lives. It may or may not have developed from her attachment to books, as she lived her own life within the stories. It always seemed like other people had it easy, while she had to deal with being a hybrid, part wolf and part human, not to mention her constantly conflicting instincts.
However, Jin was also a hybrid, like herself. He also had problems of his own, as he seemed to be disappointed that he was not something 'stronger' if Jieun had to put it into words. The girl smiled sympathetically as he continued to talk about his problems with being a hedgehog hybrid.
Jieun would have originally thought that Jin had life easy, none of his animal features were distinct enough to attract attention, and he seemed human enough on the outside. What the girl didn't know was that he had problems fitting in the university. While being surrounded by other hybrids, Seokjin appeared out of place, simply because he looked TOO human. That was a problem the wolf never had to deal with. She was never too self-conscious about her animal features, and she looked like many other students in the university, having both fluffy ears pointed up off their heads and a tail that humans didn't have. She immediately felt a pang of guilt sweep through her as she ducked her head slightly as she covered her face with her cup as she took a slow sip. Jieun had realized in a second that she was one of the many people that caused discomfort for Seokjin, and her ears sank into her hair as her tail unconsciously swept to the opposite side, hiding from the man.
While the girl didn't have many problems with fitting in, there was one point of her life where she would do everything she could to make her animal features disappear, or seem less apparent. Jieun would force herself to lay her ears back and her tail to fall behind her, like a dead object.
When Jieun suggested to ask two questions at once, Seokjin didn't object as he listened and answered her question. To her delight, he was a book person. He named various series had read in the past, though sadly commenting on how he hadn't had much time to read because of school. The girl smiled as she noticed the inner fanboy within the hedgehog as he continued, running through classics and series, lightly commenting his opinion on each.
Nodding along, Jieun finally began to smile again, forgetting about her previous discomfort. Quickly finishing her drink, the girl waved and gestured for the bartender to make her another one of the same drink. She didn't want to interrupt Jin's words and was too focused to speak anyway.
When the man was done, he ordered another drink. Jieun's eyes briefly flashed with worry as she lost count of how much he had drank since they got there. But once Jin asked his question, the girl forgot about it and thought about his question.
seokjin 9 years ago
@song jieun He finished his drink, his throat drier now that he had been talking for so long. Seokjin turned to order another, and when it arrived sipped at that too. "What kind of music do you like?"
When Jin next touched his cheeks, to wipe off some sweat or something he felt, he felt they were growing hot, flushing with the effects of his many drinks. How many had he had? Five? Less? More? He didn't know. The world was hazy.
"What kind of dance do you-" He stopped suddenly mid-sentence, having spotted Jieun's lips, and having noted in his inebriated mind how nice they were. Soft-looking and pink, parted just slightly. So, without even thinking about it, he leaned forward and kissed them. Just to see how it felt, or maybe there was a feeling of attraction somewhere in the back of his mind.
It didn't matter in the end, though, because he promptly passed out soon after.
He really, really, really shouldn't have drunk that much.

(Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh otl I'm so sorry.. my brain is like. Half-functional right now. ㅠㅠ just wanted to get this out before tomorrow morning..
Also, apologies for that sudden, sudden descent into drunk Ness. But I guess he just drank a lot while he did those monologues idk
And OMG SORRY FOR THAT CRAZY SUDDEN KISS HE'S INSANE)

@song jieun Seokjin hummed into his glass, taking in her question. "Well, to be completely honest, I always wanted to be a chef at a fancy restaurant somewhere downtown. From all the practice I had when I was younger, I can actually still cook pretty decently, so that's nice, and I don't have to have the exact same type of ramen every day. I wanted to apply to a culinary high school, but, um.. I missed the exam date, so I kind of just had to," he paused, thinking of the right word before he said anything else. "Go with the flow. Just give up on cooking as a job and just.. go through high school normally. Around that time I started getting into video games, like really getting into them -- I think I might have been at the computer three hours a day -- and that was one of the main reasons I chose programming as my path. I also started getting the animal features around then, so. Awkward times in a kid's life, you know?"
His answer was getting longer and longer, but Jin found he could speak without hindrance in this environment, and to this girl. "I remember being sort of disappointed at first; I mean, what little boy wouldn't want to be.. A dragon, or, or, a ferocious tiger, if they were going to be half-animal? I never dreamed I'd grow up with a connection to a little living, breathing puff ball, but that's how it ended up." Conscience-stricken, Seokjin brushed his blond-brown hair down, to calm it, as unruly as it was, but mostly out of habit and sudden realization about how messy it must be. He bit his lip, roling his eyes up to try to look at how the spikes were falling across his forehead, if at all, still running his fingers through them.
"It's kind of.. weird, being a hedgehog hybrid... not weird, weird, but..." He liked his lips, stumbling over his words and trying to think of something coherent to say. "I could easily pass as a human, because I don't have a long, noticeable tail, or constantly twitching ears on my head, or a little delicate nose, so sometimes people look at me funny when I walk by in the hallway here at the university, thinking I'm not a hybrid. But I would also feel so out-of-place with humans, because me and my hedgehog DNA would always be bugging me, always at the front of my mind, and I really couldn't deal with the stress of trying to fit in when it's impossible." That had gotten deep, really fast. He hoped Jieun didn't mind. Maybe it was the alcohol getting to him. Perhaps he should ease off a bit.
Despite all this, Seokjin found himself waving over yet another drink, almost without thinking. It would calm his nerves, he reasoned. Maybe?
"Sure, let's do that, then."
Seokjin's hands didn't seem to know quite what to do, so he just kind of flexed them awkwardly while he thought. "I am a book person, definitely; it's a pity I haven't had a lot of time to read lately, though. Once upon a time I was really into Septimus Heap, but I've forgotten most of what happened... I still have all my Harry Potter books, and of course the Animorphs stuff, you know, the little chapter books, people like us could relate to it," he chuckled, "Also, Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn's adventures, and some really ancient copies of those by that, and I perused some Fahrenheit 451 and Metamorphosis and even the I Am Number Four series, too. More recently, though? Neil Flambé and his marvellous adventures. The books kind of make me think about how it might have been, if.. if I'd continued on the road to becoming a great chef, even if all the shenanigans and mysteries probably wouldn't crop up everywhere like they do for Neil. And they're not too childish, either, it's nice." He hadn't touched a book in a while, and that was a pretty dad commentary on the state of his life. He was too busy to curl up with a good adventure novel in the shade and just spend a little time there, calm, relaxed... And spent far too long punching commands into a long string and going back and debugging and starting to code again. It was all too time-consuming for him veniam to have had any proper meals during the really hectic seasons.

@seokjin Hearing the girls' words about herself and Seokjin, Jieun only smiled wider, the territorial wolf inside swelled with pride at the man who was currently beside her, instead of those girls. As they walked away, her companion burst into laughter and immediately, the girl snickered softly in response. "Too bad YOU aren't sitting next to him." Jieun thought inwardly, scoffing slightly at the females who disappeared into the crowds.
When Seokjin asked her to repeat her words, the girl complied, speaking a bit louder than before as she leaned over towards his ear until he seemed to understand. The hedgehog stated that he had watched horror movies quite often with his friends, as well as historical movies and love story movies.
Jieun nodded and smiled before answering his question. "I don't watch movies often, I'm more of a reader. But when I do, I enjoy watching comedies and some love stories… oh and the occasional horror movie, but I can't watch too many or else sleeping becomes more of a problem than it already is." She added sheepishly, remembering that the reason she was out of campus on a Friday night (or Saturday morning) was because she couldn't sleep. Jieun was someone who liked to laugh, and horror movies wasn't something she could laugh at. Love stories made the girl laugh at the clichés, but it also made her heart hurt knowing that it was fiction and it would never happen to her.
When she was finished, Seokjin decided to ask another question, probably to make up for the extra one Jieun had taken, or he already had one in mind. Nodding, the wolf's ear's perked up to listen carefully. She laughed softly at his comment about 'favourite animals', before sinking into her thoughts about her past, when she was a young pup. After a brief moment of silence, the girl burst out laughing as she bit her lip slightly, trying to silence herself. "Heh… When I was really young, I wanted to be a firefighter dog." She stated in a soft voice as she buried her head into her hands in both embarrassment and amusement of her younger self. She was innocent back then. Back when all her other friends wanted to become celebrities or doctors, Jieun wanted to be an animal that helps saves lives. Though it may be rather heroic and brave of her to think like that, it was very impossible biologically even though she may be part wolf.
Calming down a bit, the girl continued, heading for a time where she was a bit more realistic. "Well, when I was a bit older, and not as silly," She added as she huffed out another short laugh. "I wanted to be a famous figure skater. I had loved how skaters floated across the ice in such a graceful manner that I had always dreamed of being like the girl on TV. I had begged my parents to let me learn figure skating, and during hours of practice and a comment from my coach, I learned that I didn't like skating in particular, but it was dance I loved… So here I am." She ended, smiling bashfully as she took a sip of her drink, glancing at Seokjin over the edge of her cup.
Sighing happily from the buzz of alcohol, Jieun turned the question back to him. "So did you always want do work with computers?" She asked curiously, her tawny grey ears pointed upwards. "Or had you secretly dreamed of being an adorable animal when you were younger?" She joked, teasing herself as her lips quirked up into a smile.
The wolf had a habit of constantly teasing herself, making jokes whenever she saw the opportunity. And in turn, the girl didn't mind other people teasing her as well. Jieun was easily humoured and enjoyed laughing and joking around, even if it was at her own expense.
When he seemed to be finished, the girl quickly spoke before he could ask his question. "What about we ask two questions at a time?" Jieun offered as another question lingered in the back of her mind.
"Since I asked you about movies, do you have a favourite book or series?... Or are you not a book person?" Jieun asked, her forehead furrowed slightly with worry. While the wolf was quite flexible, she had very few friends that didn't enjoy reading fiction. It was just that liking and talking about characters in a book is very different from chatting about characters in a movie. Different and difficult. When talking about fictional characters from a book, everyone's on the same page, but when the topic is about a character from a movie… it just never really matches up. The conversation would sometimes lead to the person who was casted as the actor or actress, to if (celebrity) would have been a better (insert character name) than (another celebrity). And from all of her experiences with conversations like that, it always ended up in arguments about conflicting opinions.

@song jieun Seokjin laughed heartily, bringing his glass to his lips mindlessly to take a sip. "We're probably completely ruining the bar experience for them." He looked down at their casual attire, smiling a little in noticing how they were both still a little rough-looking from their dip, dry but still looking somewhat wild and carefree in a way he couldn't fully explain. Jin wasn't wonderful with words.
He kept on smiling to himself when he saw Jieun smile coolly at judging glances from others, showing them she really couldn't care less what they thought about hers and Seokjin's tank top and t-shirt, sweatpants and shorts. That was a great attitude, one that Jin wished he could see a little more often in the students at the University. Brushing off the bad as easily as she might a pesky bug, managing to give the annoyances a bright smile and not letting it bother her at all. It was 'his style,' if one really wanted to call it that, he liked seeing it in someone. And so, following Jieun's dabulous lead, he grinned at the girls, giving a nod rhar showed iff his jawline and a sensual bite of the lip as a joke. "'You sure you don't want me? This is hot stuff!' was the message, and really hw couldn't have thought of anything better to drive the girls away without even trying to show off their cleavage as they might have been with someone dressed properly for the bar scene. They frowned and started moving away, muttering to each other about something that didn't quite reach Seokjin's ears, probably severe disappointment in his club-dedication levels. How they'd "totally have hit on" him if he'd at least put some thought into what he was wearing. How Jieun was "SO not worthy of sitting there." How gross it was that he hadn't even worn tight-fitting anything. Just the thought of what they might be thinking about him that was fueling their scowls so much made him want to burst into peals of laughter, and he did so without a second thought. The alcohol, maybe. Or maybe it was his joy at being out and about with someone as cool and nice as Jieun, making the mood more relaxed and comfortable even as all around them were skimpy dresses and sweaty dancers and stumbling drunk people.
"Hmm?" He leaned closer to his companion so as to be able to hear her question clearly amidst the deafening noise. The atmosphere would have been simply stifling if it weren't so full of vibrant energy rather than uncomfortable shifting-in-your-seat. 'What was that?" Seokjin asked, urging her to repeat the question so that he could hear it. The shell of his ear was almost touching Jieun's lips, which made him sort of nervous, but the happy, carefree feeling of just being out here with her overcame that.
"Ah," he said, having heard and understood what she had been trying to say after a few repetitions, "well, I don't mind horror movies, I watch them pretty often with friends.. Somehow 올드보이 gets put on a lot more often that it probably should, though.. Recently, I've gotten into historical movies and so on, slices of Korea from the past, you know? 암살 was good, and I'm pretty hyped for 사도, too.. But, um, mostly I enjoy, uh, sappy love story kinds of movies.." He probably should have lied about that, he worried it might sound weird and 'not-manly,' but it was (regrettably?) true that he had cried while watching The Notebook. And The Fault In Our Stars (and while reading the novel). Not full-on bawling, of course. Maybe a couple stray tears and a stuffy nose, nothing more, but crying was crying.
"How about you?"
Jin ordered another drink, his previous one now only some foam bits lingering in the bottom of a tall glass, partly to have something to drink but mostly to give his hands something to do, to make it less awkward when he was trying to talk.
"A second question..." he leaned back, forgetting that the stool didn't have a backrest, and stumbled for a brief moment before he caught himself, sheepish. "Uh. Since 'favourite animal' sounds a little.. unnecessary, how about: "Did you have a big dream, when you were younger? Something you wanted to do, and really thought you'd end up doing?" It was deep, delving into the past, but Seokjin decided that they needed to know at least a little something of that caliber about each other. He, personally, had worked off the belief that he would someday become a great chef for some fancy restaurant until very late, maybe halfway through high school, before he switched paths to computering-and-stuff.

"Yes, that looks y," Hyuna bluntly replied, letting out a soft giggle as she eyed the male's messily styled hair. She hummed thoughtfully as he put his arm around her, then looked at him with a playful expression. "Well, do you want something fruity or manly?" she asked, arching an eyebrow. "I say we let loose and have a few drinks and then head back to campus. Maybe hang out in one of our rooms or something?" The vixen shrugged lightly, knowing the other wouldn't take it the wrong way. She and Mino could spend hours together in absolute silence and be perfectly comfortable; they had a close bond, and while she certainly did find him attractive, there had never been anything ual about their relationship besides jokingly flirting with each other here and there.

@seokjin "Ah, computer science… That's pretty cool." She murmured, nodding in understanding as she continued walking. Jieun, though she was an art major, had actually taken a course in computer science when she was in high school. It was like learning a different language and putting processes into words, something that was not her forte. She was much better at translating ideas into images like a dance, but she'd admit programming was fun, but not for her specifically.
Seeing a small blue lighter in Seokjin's hand, the wolf smiled and laughed with him. It turned out that quite a few people carry lighters around and from the two random kids carrying lighters who were sitting around a fire pit, Jieun wasn't sure if she should be worried about people randomly setting the school or dorm on fire. She silently hoped that no one on campus carried lighters for such purposes. While some parts of the school may need some remodeling, fire was still fire, and it was a dangerous force to deal with.
Answering her question, the man begun to talk about his plans for the near future, possibly starting a company with a fellow student named Mino. The girl nodded along as usual, enjoying listening to him talk. She liked listening to people talk. It allowed her to know the person better and also allowed her to avoid talking.
"Sure, let's get going." She confirmed as she turned her back to campus and headed towards the outer regions of the school, following Jin. She wasn't sure where bar was, though she had seen it a few times when she had left campus on her own. With every step, more artificial lights began appear, as street lamps perched by the side of the road as they left campus. Wandering the slightly busier streets away from the school, they eventually reached the bar.
Entering, Jieun's mood lifted as her eyes darted around excitedly, drawing energy from the numbing hum of voices and the pulsing background music that floated about the bar. Following the other closely, the wolf trotted towards the other empty stool and slid onto it, perching delicately as she crossed her legs, glancing out onto the people and watching Seokjin out of the corner of her eyes. The girl had a habit of observing and watching people, for no reason at all, but she simply liked watching. The scent of alcohol had hit her the moment she had stepped into the bar, but sitting down, the girl took a deep breath and a rather flirty grin floated to her lips as she leaned back onto the bar, relaxing as she waited for the drink Seokjin had ordered.
The combination of voices, music, and people had begun to take a mental effect on the girl, her self-restrictions falling and her reckless nature waking up. When the bartender handed them their drinks, the wolf gladly accepted the drink and smiled at him over the edge of her cup as she sipped the tangy liquid. Though the girl didn't go out often, she drank rather often for a student who barely leaves campus grounds. With a couple beers tucked away in the back of her mini fridge and bottle of rum that she uses to occasionally spike her drinks, Jieun drank at least once a week, whenever her roommate wasn't around. She could drink quite a bit, but a female never tells anyone her drinking limit.
Hearing Seokjin's voice again, the girl tore her eyes from a couple she was observing and turned to face her companion, smiling slightly when she noticed him glancing around the bar as well. "Hm, I see… I do like it here though." She commented without taking her lips off her cup as she sipped periodically. The wolf propped her arm on the bar as she rested her chin on her hand, her eyes lazily flitting between the moving bodies and the man beside her before dropping to her lap as she searched for something to say. A soft laugh erupted from her lips as she realized that they were wearing. "I wonder what they think of us." She whispered to Seokjin, leaning closer as she nodded over to a small group of passing girls in sparkly dresses who tossed a look of disgust at Jieun when they noticed her tank top and sweatpants, but the wolf only smiled back at the girls, taking a long swing of her drink, emptying the cup of its contents.
Staring at her empty cup, the girl promptly waved the bartender over, ordering a wet martini on the rocks. Waiting for her drink, Jieun turned her full attention to Seokjin, smiling at him as she swiveled her chair around so that she faced him directly. "So technically it's your turn to ask me something, but I have a quick question. You could ask me two after if you'd like." She added quickly as the bartender came back with her drink in hand. "Thank you…" The wolf said before turning back to Jin. "What kinds of movies do you like to watch?"

@hyuna [ Don't worry about it!! Sorry, I've been kinda procrastinating lots >< ]

Mino laughed lightly with her, running his hand messily through his half-fixed hair. "Better?" He gave her a smirk, but since he wasn't quite one for such an image, he wasn't able to hold in his laughter afterwards. He slung his arm over Hyuna's shoulders, "so, what should we do, beautiful?" he asked with a playful wink. Anyone else who would've been observing them wouldn't have guessed the two of them were such close friends. But they were, and Mino quite liked their relationship. A close relationship, almost like siblings it was so close. They were there for each other when needed and anything one needed the other could give. "Though, a drink does sound quite nice," he nods slowly. "What do you recommend?"
seokjin 9 years ago
@song jieun Seokjin thought deeply as he walked, watching Jieun walk alongside him with the grace in her steps of an experienced dancer. It looked almost as though she were floating from one step to the next, and it all looked so beautiful. Jin didn't doubt she was a dance major, not by the way she moved so fluidly and easily. "I do computer sciences, actually.. You know, programming and stuff? I write codes, generally for small video games in practice."
The two of them exited the forest, leaving its lush greenery behind as they found their way somewhere else. A fire pit, it was, a ring of dark stones surrounding some logs sprinkled with some ash, probably from the last time the pig had been used. Seokjin laughed lightly when Jieun pulled out a lighter, assuring her that "I carry one, too!" And promptly showing her his, which had been a gift from an old friend. It was blue.
After Jieun set up the fire and he tried to help out a little bit (but he hadn't been much of a help, preoccupied by things other than starting a suitable fire), they sat in front of the fire they'd started, warming up and drying off.
Jin hummed in assent, adjusting his seated position to make himself comfortable before the open flame. The sight made him think of marshmallows and family on a summer night, telling jokes together and laughing into the dark in their merriment. It was heartwarming and memory-recalling, making him close his eyes for a moment to just remember. He missed everyone.
"Once I graduate? ...Well, this friend of mine, Mino, he's also doing a computer-based major, so we were throwing some ideas around about starting a tech company or something in the future. Thought about it, discussed some key things like where the money would go and how we would advertise, where we could sell. When we could start creating a company-original product that people would buy for themselves. That kind of stuff... We never got too into detail, though, so no thing's definite at all." He said all this while staring into the fire, its tendrils casually lapping at the various logs in the fire pit. He turned to sit against it one way, then another, drying each side of him bit by bit. It wasn't making him as dry as the clothes might be if they hadn't had that water fight, but it was reasonably passable, so he nodded to Jieun's question and slowly stood up, brushing off his pants and turning to her again. "We could go to that bar, now, if you'd like."
He smiled, maybe a little crooked, before turning with his and walking with her back in the direction of the main campus. Most of the places that were off-campus were on the oppositr side of that where the outdoors things were, so Jieun and Seokjin had a long way to go before they finally arrived at the bar's general area.

The place was crowded, very much so, but Seokjin would have found it okay if he had not just experienced a feeling of completely liberty, connection with nature. It seemed stifling, now, to be surrounded by so many people, most of them not even from the university. Nevertheless, he strode towards the bar itself, finding two empty seats in the form of stools and seating himself in one of them. He called for the bartender, getting the two of them some drinks to sip at while they talked. It was much easier to talk to someone when you were drunk, as whatever wise man had never said, so it was nice if they could have a chat here. Separate from talking out loud into the night, this was whispered words and silent confessions.
He would have to stop after he had too much, though, because he needed to be alert to be there for the both of them walking home. So maybe he'd have two drinks. Maybe three if it was weak. Maybe one if it was strong
Seokjin thanked the bartender as he passed their drinks to them, taking his first and swirling the liquid around in his glass. "Haven't been here in a while," he mused, looking up and around him at his surroundings as it all felt new in a strangely old way. He would have to be careful about his intake tonight, but Jieun could have whatever she wanted, he thought. He would pay for it all and carry her home if it came down to it. Seokjin was prepared.

@mino [ So sorry for the late response! ;; ]

Hyuna laughed softly, cocking her head. "Yes, it looks good when it's messy. It makes you look like a little bad boy." She grinned in a playfully flirtatious manner; she loved her friendship with Mino because the two were so close and open with one another. They knew how to tease at each other but also how to compliment each other, and they both knew they were there for each other no matter what. "Aw, what a sweetheart." She chuckled before looking at him with a questioning glance. "Hey, let me get your drink for you. I owe you for helping me back there, after all. What do ya want?"
mino (KissMe_Angel97) 9 years ago
@hyuna Mino grinned that wide, childish grin of his as he stopped midway in fixing his hair. "Oh? You like it a mess? Then maybe I won't fix it," he stuck his tongue out in a playful gesture before retracting it and smiling widely with his teeth hidden. His eyes trailed over her hands as he leaned down a little bit for her to fix up the rest of his hair so gently. Sure, his spirit animal was one from the sea, but that didn't mean that he doesn't like his hair being petted. "Pssh, I'll always remember for you," Mino rolled his eyes with a light chuckle. It wasn't a lie,it was really true. He always made sure to remember the small things for his closest friends.
hyuna (silverscoups) [A] 9 years ago
@mino Hyuna laughed as she watched him fix his hair, her mood certainly increasing as she already started to forget about the repulsive man and his actions. Mino always found a way to cheer her up with his sweet behavior and sense of humor, and she was glad she had become friends with the killer shark hybrid. "Exactly," she grinned as she nodded her head, her hair slightly bouncing along with it. "And I'm sorry, it looks beautiful~" she giggled as she eyed his hair, reaching her hand out once again but this time helping him fix it with her gentle touch. "You also wore my favorite cologne, didn't you~? How did you remember?" She playfully put a hand to her heart as if she was flattered by the gesture, although she actually kind of was. Leave it to Mino to remember the tiny things.
mino (KissMe_Angel97) 9 years ago
@hyuna "Well, if you say so, little Miss Foxy," Mino teases with a gentle laugh, exaggerating the force with which she had nudged him. "If this killer whale wouldn't mess with you, I don't know if anyone else really could." He puffed his cheeks when his hair was made a mess, "hey, hey... I spent time on this for you.." he whined softly as his hands shot up to attempt to fix the strands and move them back into place. "Okay! No working, just having fun tonight!" Mino chuckled as he shot her a wink in return for her signature smirk. Of course, he could never refuse a night with Hyuna, knowing she always seemed to be able to brighten up his mood.
hyuna (silverscoups) [A] 9 years ago
@mino Hyuna wrinkled her face a little when he flicked her forehead, nudging him lightly and playfully. "He was being a jackass to me, I wasn't gonna let him get away with it." She let the boy lead her to the other side of the bar, taking a seat with him as she gave him a casual smile. "It's alright, sweetie." The vixen reached out and ruffled his hair playfully. "You need to stop working yourself so hard though. Tonight you're just gonna have fun with me, alright?" She gave him her signature devious smirk, her eyes lighting up at the thought of spending some time with one of her close friends.
mino (KissMe_Angel97) 9 years ago
@hyuna If it weren't for the frightening reputation of killer sharks, Mino probably wouldn't have sounded quite as intimidating as he was. So thank god for that. He bared his teeth at the man, glaring at him until he and his friends backed off.

Mino grinned that bright, toothy grin of his at her. It would've seen ridiculous and rather childishly non-threatening if that man from before had seen it. "Anything for a beauty like you," he gave her a playful wink before he raised his fingers to gently flick at her forehead, "don't pick fights with people who aren't worth it." He added a roll of his eyes at her after and kept his arm around her waist as he led Hyuna away from that side of the bar. Once he was sure the men were out of sight and wouldn't be back to bother them, Mino turned around with a tilt of his head and an apologetic look on his face. "Sorry, I'm late. I fell asleep while I was working on stuff and then woke up late..." He raised his hand to rub the back of his neck awkwardly as he, once again, flashed that childish grin of his.
hyuna (silverscoups) [A] 9 years ago
@mino [ don't worry about it, it's perfect! <3 ]

Hyuna hadn't even seen the killer shark hybrid walk inside, but the familiar scent of his cologne hit her sensitive nose as he approached her, making her feel a sudden amount of comfort almost instinctively. When she felt his arm slide around her slender waist, easily pulling her out of the older man's grip and into her own, her hazel eyes blinked up at him before a smile began to cross her lips. Slowly placing a hand on Mino's chest, keeping him close, she narrowed her eyes at the older man smugly. "You like hybrids so much? My baby's a killer whale. I don't think you wanna mess with him."

The man was definitely surprised, but a scoff escaped his lips. "What, is he going to bite me?" he sneered sarcastically, but the vixen could practically smell out his fear as he attempted to put up a confident front. "Do you want to stick around and find out?" she shot back, her bushy tail curling up slightly behind her. She knew Mino would probably not actually hurt anyone, but of course, the stranger before them didn't know that. He finally raised his hands in surrender, giving both of them a dirty look.

"in' mutants," he mumbled under his breath before turning around and walking back to his table, his drunk friends howling with laughter. Rolling her eyes, Hyuna turned to Mino and bit on her lip as she smiled. "Thank you for that. You totally saved my back there."

@hyuna .
Song Minho looked up from his project, rubbing the sleep out of his eyes, realizing he had fallen asleep with his face on the keyboard of his computer. He was supposed to meet Hyuna in 5 minutes. It wasn't that he forgot. It was just that he had spent all of last night working on this that was supposed to be due in three days and he still couldn't seem to finish it. Despite not having any classes today, he still didn't manage to get a nap or two in and was deadly tired a few hours ago when his brain decided to shut down and force him to sleep, using his laptop as a pillow.
. How was 5 minutes supposed to be enough for him to cover that huge white spot on his face worth make-up, dress in something presentably stylish for a bar, and make his way to said bar? As he rushed around his room to do the first two things, he totally forgot to text Hyuna that he would be late. She would understand, right? Their friendship was that close-knit...right...? Well, Mino sure hoped so.
Forget five minutes, it took him a good thirty or so minutes before he had changed into something stylish, gotten some pleasantly scented cologne on that he remembered that Hyuna had pointedly said she liked on him, finished up covering that spot over his right eye and placed in his contacts so that he would have to wear those dorky, thick-framed glasses that kept him from being completely blind.
Finally, after taking a wrong turn and lengthening the time he was late even more, the young student found his way to the entrance of the bar and his eyes scanned the rather busy crowd for Hyuna's pretty face with her signature sly smile. She was a vixen and exceptionally beautiful, which he totally envied her of. She could make heads turn, no matter their gender and perhaps even ual orientation. Why couldn't killer whales be like that?
His eyes landed on her only to make his eyebrows furrow in a bit of rage when he saw how she was being harassed by such an unattractive old man. This was probably why he should've arrived on time...
Killer whales don't snarl, but this one did as he approached in anger. Shouldn't old men like this bastard know when enough was enough? Oh yeah, he was probably just one of those ed sickos that he and Hyuna complained about when they were hanging out often.
When he arrived to her side, Mino smoothly slid his arm around Hyuna's waist rather intimately, pulling her away from that disgusting ruffian with enough force to catch the man off guard, but not so much that he might hurt his friend. "Excuse me...sir..." His jaw was set firmly in anger as he glared at the man. Mino only added the rather polite 'sir' after a moment because he was just that way. He couldn't be rude...but his momentary addition was more than enough to perhaps make him come across as disrespectful to the men, not that he cared. "What exactly do you think you're doing to my baby girl?" Mino threateningly flashed his rows of sharp, carnivorous teeth at the man and even to those standing behind him that had been cheering him on in his advances. Of course, it wasn't true that Hyuna was /his/ baby girl. They were friends, close ones. But he decided that playing it off as if they were in a relationship would work much better than if he were to be just the protective brotherly figure.

[ Orz...sorry for writing like an entire novel >< I didn't mean to make it so long, please don't stress at all about length in your reply >~~< ]
hyuna (silverscoups) [A] 9 years ago
@mino "Would you like to take a picture? It'll last longer."

The vixen's sarcastic, snarky tone rang clearly through the bar as she turned around in her seat, her eyes locked straight on those of an older man who looked quite unappealing. She had felt his eyes trained on her and her body ever since she had come in, and while Hyuna was used to the stares and attention from both men and ladies, she didn't appreciate it coming from a slobby drunkard who clearly wasn't at a proper age to be so intently checking her out anyways. Normally, she was extremely friendly and avoided drama and arguments as best as she could, but this man was certainly getting on her nerves and her blunt behavior wasn't going to let him get away with it.

"I don't know about a picture, but I'm sure I could last longer than anyone you've ever been with," the man replied in a sleazy tone after blinking a few times from her sudden comment, immediately beginning to laugh with his friends. The vixen's hazel eyes widened in disgust, immediately standing up with flushed cheeks- partly from alcohol and partly from pure anger. Forgetting about Mino coming at this point, she narrowed her eyes at the man in distaste. "You're repulsive," she hissed, her pointed canines barely revealing themselves. "I think you'll have better luck with the women your age, such as the ones in any local senior center."

At this, the man let out a laugh and stood up as well, coming right up to her and grabbing her slender wrist. "Oh, come on, doll," he smirked nastily, his eyes shamelessly trailing up and down her body in her dress, lingering a little bit longer on her cleavage. "I've always wanted to try ing a hybrid..."

Hyuna cringed and tried moving her wrist away, getting angrier and more disgusted by the second. "Get the off of me," she demanded in a loud voice, but the man now had a tight hold of her waist. He was definitely much stronger than her, and a stream of curses spewed out of as she tried her best to fight him off, trying not to feel panicked at this point as the pointed ears on the top of her head flattened themselves against her hair proving otherwise.

@seokjin [ Because I don't think hedgehogs are usually inebriated, but since you like it, I'll use it more next time xD ]

A soft chuckle escaped his lips, before he continued on his way to the closet, quickly as to hide his own blush, "I can tell." He opened the door to the closet and let his hands fumble around a bit before he added with a teasing hint in his tone, "I don't think getting a drink would be the best way for you to get to know someone next time."
All Mino could do was basically hide his face in the closet, pretending he was still looking for something as he wanted to prolong the next time their eyes met due to his embarrassment.
He probably didn't remember much of last night...
And damn that note...
It sounds so stupid...
"Uhm..yeah, I wasn't sure if I'd be done when you woke up," he managed to choke out as he grabbed some comfortable clothes in hand. A small smile made it to his lips when he heard the light crack that was the breaking of the bottle's plastic seal, but he hadn't expected to turn around and find nearly all of the yellowish-green beverage already down the other's throat. He knew it helped him after a night of too much drinking so he could only hope it was good enough for Jin.
He caught a light blush on his cheeks and suddenly felt relieved that he wasn't the only embarrassed one in this situation. But what was there to be embarrassed of? It wasn't like either of them did anything...last...night...
"Oh, I'm done. You should take one, it might help the," he raised hand to gesture at his head as he momentarily forgot the word he wanted, "...the...uh--pain a little." That wasn't it, but he had to settle for that. "I can go grab you an extra towel while you're in there."
As he tried to break the silence, as well as the awkwardness, this time, Mino made an effort to give the other male his signature, toothy grin.

[ "living manifestation of God," you're so flattering >~~<

@mino ("Inebriated hedgehog" Why is that making me smile so muchhh)

One.
Two.
Three.
Jin could count the breaths it took him before he opened his eyes, and then the number of seconds it took for him to -- at least partially -- get over the throbbing pain in his head.
"Agh, what the-" he stopped mid-sentence when he noticed that this wasn't his room, this wasn't his bed, this wasn't his shirt, and his pants were just gone. ".." Judging from the intensity of his headache, he had probably been drinking the previous night. "What a stupid thing to do," he scolded his already-suffering self; he knew full well that he couldn't hold booze for .
So... did that mean he'd found his way to the wrong dorm, thinking in his delusion that it was his own? But that wouldn't explain the shirt...
And then the living manifestation of God himself came out of the bathroom, half .
And he remembered.
Everything.
Well, not everything, but finding a stranger and sharing a kiss.. and then... and then... sitting down at a bar?
"Good.." His voice got caught in his throat, forcing him to cough before trying again a little louder, "good morning.."
The figure turned, obviously a little surprised that Jin was conscious, and Jin couldn't really do anything but smile a little, embarrassed.
A flea could have injured itself and let out a cry of agony that would sound like the howling destruction of a hurricane compared to the silence in the room at that moment.
"Uh, I'm a bad drinker..." was all he could say, after a long, long moment.
He started looking around, looking for something to do with his hands, and his eyes fell upon a bottle of Gatorade and some medicine for his hangover (did he mention it still hurt like a beast?), accompanied by a cute little note. "Uhm, I'm guessing you were expecting me to find this when you weren't in the room..." He reached over and took the Advil, though, because now that he'd spotted it, nothing could stop him from doing that but the apocalypse. It was a nice Gatorade flavor, and even though he never drank it normally (water and kimbap were his sustenance a lot of the time) he ended up drinking a third of the bottle swallowing the pills.
He looked back at Mino, fidgeting a little, seeing that he had gotten some stuff out of the closet while he'd been taking his medicine, and looked again at his form..
Glistening with water droplets and from the waist up, he really was a sight to behold. And his hair.. tousled like that.. Jin could have choked on his drink if he'd been drinking while looking at this man.
He just kept staring for a while, and at a little movement from Mino snapped out of it, coughing a little awkwardly as he tried to look like he hadn't just been ogling.
"Maybe.. Maybe you want to, um, finish your shower?"

@seokjin Strolling over to the mini fridge at the side of his room, Mino stretched his arms a little to get the sleep out of his limbs and knelt down to grab two bottles of chilled lemon-lime Gatorade sitting inside. Clearing a spot on his messy bedside table, he left one of the two bottles there along with a pair of Advil.
He believed he would be back before the other would wake, but decided to leave the things there just in case after slapping a Post-It note that read: "For the cute, sleepy head with a hangover" onto the side of the bottle.
Quickly, he slipped into the shower, and being the killer whale that he was, ended up spending a good, lengthy time underneath that warm spray of water.
The young male groaned in frustration when he stepped out to find that he had been too eager to get in the water and forgot to grab himself a change of clothes... He had taken so long in the shower he nearly forgot that he wasn't the only one in the room. When he stepped out of the bathroom with only a towel around his waist, large glasses over his eyes, and his dark hair, clinging to his scalp, still dripping water down his body, Mino found himself blinking in surprise to find Jin sitting up in his bed with the covers bunched up at his waist.
"Uhm...morning..?"
Was there a way to kill awkwardness? Because he surely wanted to know now while he just stood there staring at the recently awoken angel sitting in his bed.

@seokjin Honestly, carrying a boy that was just about his size wasn't as easy as he thought it would be (or maybe he's been procrastinating and not going to the gym often enough). Plus, Jin was heavier unconscious then he probably would be if he were awake. He could imagine an intoxicated boy flailing in his arms and now he was glad that perhaps he wouldn't have to face that. It would've been much harder to walk normally. One way or another, thankfully, the university dorms weren't much too far away.
As they, or rather just him with the other male in his arms, strolled across the deadly silent campus lit by occasional lampposts at 2AM in the morning, Mino found himself a little distracted by the way the younger was breathing against his neck so calmly with his head on his shoulder. He stopped for a few moments, staring down at the oh-so-peaceful features of Jin's face as he slept the night so carelessly away. Considering the many times he stopped in his tracks to admire his features, it probably took Mino at least a full half an hour more than he actually needed to get back to his room in the dorms.
Mino couldn't help but be thankful for the absence of his roommate for the night when they arrived. At least now he wouldn't have to explain anything. He laid the boy down on his bed and chuckled lightly when Jin curled up into a tight ball.
It took another good half an hour for Mino to clean himself up some and to get himself changed into a comfortable, sleeveless shirt and shorts for the rest of the night. He came out, with a toothbrush in his mouth, to find Jin sprawled out over his entire bed, gelled hair now a mess of spikes and red lips parted in soft snores. He choked back some laughter at that sight, but as he looked the boy over, he then realized that it would probably be uncomfortable to be sleeping in skinny jeans and a shirt that looked half a size too small.
With a tad bit of trouble, Mino managed to wrestle the shirt and pants off and got the boy to sit up, in his sleep of course, for a brief few moments so that he could slip on an extra large t-shirt over his head. Laziness struck him and he decided the other would be fine in just his boxers for the night so that he wouldn't have to slip on a pair of shorts for him as well.
By the time he was finished, it was at least 3:30 AM if not 4 in the morning, and he realized that he probably wouldn't be getting more than two or so hours of sleep due to his cursed habit of waking up at 6:30 every morning, no matter what. Bleh, he could manage, it wasn't like he had never pulled all-nighters before anyway.
Mino laid down and found himself just merely staring at Jin's face as he slept without seemingly a care in the world for what seemed like another several hours. Admiring his features until he couldn't even remember when he fell asleep.

The next morning, or rather just a couple hours later, Mino awoke to find his arms wrapped tightly around Jin as if he were his teddy bear and their legs tangled together. He could've sworn that his heart skipped a beat when the other male shifted a little in his deep sleep. But, when he realized that he wouldn't be waking up anytime soon, he let out that breath he didn't know he'd been holding and retracted his arms and legs. Mino settled for propping his head up with one arm as he laid there at the edge of his bed. Absent-mindedly, he reached his hand over to gently brush the backs of his fingers against the smooth skin of the boy's pale skin. His finger ended up tracing over the other male's features entirely. Eventually, he rolled out when he decided he couldn't go back to sleep and that staring and tracing the other's sleeping face could only be so creepy after a while or even give a heart attack waking up to.
