Headmaster's Quarters

This is where you'll usually find Headmaster Lee Joon. While he doesn't like being disturbed without reason, he won't bite if you come in without notice. The Headmistress is right down the hall and to the right.

@kim yongsun Ironically, Joon had been a Ravenclaw way back when yet houses were merely labels and he wholeheartedly knew that not all Slytherin were 'evil' while not all Hufflepuff's were 'forgotten and ordinary.' Still, he'd get a handful of students complaining about their house placements. Well, he didn't deal with those, he usually passed those students onto unsuspecting professors until he really had to sit down and deal with them. Anyway, that's not what should be on his mind right about now. From what he gathered, Yongsun had been getting dreamy visions of nothingness. "A dream dictionary likely won't help." Touch-visions as well... Sitting up straight in his seat now, Joon places his elbows against the oak desk before him, staring straight at Yongsun's eyes. For a few moments, he only keeps their gaze, deciding the various routes Yongsun could go from here. "You'll need proper training if you choose to continue on with this talent. There are...may precautions to take with divination." A tiny smile glows from the headmaster now, though it's a bit solemn. "There will be things you don't want to see. I've had many instances where I've caught a hint of the future and it's horrid yet there's nothing I can do to stop it, no matter what I try. I suggest you think about that before you decide if you'd like to pursue this ability. I'm unsure if it will just disappear overtime if not touched on, but if you need some guidance, my doors are always open for you, Ms. Kim." Yongsun was a sweet girl, Joon could tell that much, and being a muggle /and/ having a gift like this - he'd keep careful watch over her.

"In regards to figuring out if it's the future or past..." Considering Joon has a very distinct beginning and end, his index finger pokes out towards Yongsun. "Touch and tell me what you see, if anything comes up." Joon was hoping Yongsun wasn't at the stage of where she may feel some emotions from her visions. Joon just about started at that stage and it had been traumatic experiencing the pain of his first true vision.

@lee joon Yongsun quickly opened the door, and slipped inside, closing it behind her with a small click. Even though she had been here a few times already, and had already seen Joon before, his office always made her a little uneasy. Perhaps thats because, in the Muggle world /and/ the Wizarding world, the Headmasters office usually always meant you were in trouble. Looking down at the letter in her hand, she moved forward to sit on the chair in front of Joon's desk. As usual, he had been reading, he was always reading whenever she came by. Perhaps, she mused jokingly to herself, he had been a Ravenclaw when he had attended Hogwarts as a student many years ago. The young witch nodded at the Headmaster's words, from the rumors she had heard, she shouldn't be surprised if he had already known this day, and this meeting, would happen.

Once he actually took the letter, and gently moved it aside on his desk, and asked her what she had seen so far...was when she had a dilemma. In a way, she had seen nothing so far, it was all too unclear and incoherent to make sense of anything. She did however, always get super accurate hunches and gut feelings about people or situations, and she had never been wrong once. She had been like that her whole life however, but the strange dreams were new, but they made no sense. The touch-visions were new too, Yongsun had to touch someone to have visions, but again, she never actually saw anything clear, or anything that made sense. She wasn't sure if she was seeing someones past or future, it was all too jumbled up. "Well, in all honesty, I haven't exactly /seen/ anything yet, when I wake up from my strange dreams, they never seem to make any coherent sense, even when I try to use a dream dictionary from the library to decipher the symbolism..." Yongsun bit her lip, should she tell him about the touching? It was very likely he already knew, or that he /would/ know, so there wasn't much sense in lying about it, or keeping it to herself. "And," she spoke up again, taking a deep breath before continuing, "Lately, if I touch someone, I get flashes of unclear images," she paused again to take another deep, sighing breath, as she began to fiddle with her robe sleeve. "I'm not sure if...I have the sight like you, I'm not sure if what I see is the future, or someones past, its too messy to decipher, and too weak." Yongsun finished quickly, awkwardly looking down at her lap. First, she was told she was a Wizard not but a year ago, and that made her odd enough, and now, she would be even more odd. She enjoyed being different from others, and standing out, but this...might be too much for her.

@kim yongsun Kim Yongsun, muggle born and a student Joon kept up with. Honestly, the headmaster isn't overly friendly, but he did understand that students who were barely acquainted with their powers might not fit in as well as children who were exposed to parental magic all their lives. As a headmaster, he must be there for each and every student if they so choose to accept his guidance. Though he had been well aware of Yongsun's denial of 'fitting in,' he also knew of her uncovered powers. After all, he always saw a plethora of visions after the sorting ceremony each year. And just now, a couple knuckles fell onto the door across from his desk, echoing with each gentle hit. "Come in." Joon had a feeling this student would be visiting with note in hand sooner or later and here she was now.

For her, he put on a welcoming smile and actually put down his book. "Ms. Kim., that must be your letter from the divination professor." Joon already knew from when he met her that this one would be 'special' in terms of divination. The man merely holds his hand out in a crisp motion, expecting that Yongsun would sit as she usually did. It's when he does receive the letter than he simply places down on his desk. "Perhaps you don't know, but I used to be the divination professor before the current one. She's more of a...replacement considering she doesn't have the gift of sight while I do." It's simple as that, really. "Tell me everything you've seen so far." Yongsun could easily fib like she usually does when telling Joon about how she's fitting in here, but he assumed she wouldn't. He'd never exactly pushed her or forced her into telling him how she really felt. Things never worked like that and the students would come to him on their own if he was casual enough.

@lee joon The Divination Professor had been...suspecting, for the last few months, that Yongsun was special. It was only her first year in divination, and it had only been four months since the school year had started, and the young witch had quickly risen above her classmates. Of course, anyone with magic could do divination, but there was only so far they could go, and only so accurate they could be. It took a real Diviner, a special witch or wizard, to be 100% accurate, and to be so naturally gifted at all forms of divination. And it appeared to the Professor, that Yongsun could very well be the rare Diviner witch that graced the Professor's presence every once and a while , though there was only one way to be more certain. The Divinations Professor had pulled her aside after class to speak with her, and ask her more questions, after all, if she was a Diviner, she would need to be sent straight away to the Headmaster. And as it turned out, she had been starting to have the prophetic dreams, the witch had admitted. She said she was having strange dreams more and more often, strange dreams that were almost vision-like, that had small kernels or images of the truth, or of the future. But for now the Professor noted, they were just dreams, and not full on visions. She most likely would never get to the vision stage without proper training, training the Professor couldn't provide her, not being a Diviner themselves. So without further ado, the Professor promptly wrote a small, short letter to the Headmaster, explaining their suspicions about Yongsun, and then sealed it away in a letter, and handed to the young witch to take to Lee Joon immediately. She was excused from her next class period.

Grasping the letter tightly in hand, the young witch made the journey to the Headmaster's office, she had been there a few times already, just for short meetings with Joon, as he had wondered how she was liking the Wizard life, and if she was having any problems adjusting. She of course smiled and told him everything was great, though that was a lie, and she had a feeling, he also knew it was lie. She wasn't having an awful time, the kids here didn't know that she was a muggle-born, /yet/. But not having access to muggle technology was strange, and she wasn't totally familiar with wizard customs yet either, so she felt a little awkward, and it was hard to make friends. Looking down at the sealed letter in her hand, she realized she had made it to her destination, and she looked up quickly at the large, heavy oak doors of the Headmaster's office. Taking in a deep breath, she looked down at the letter one last time, faintly wondering what was written in it, and why the Professor had asked her so many weird questions, she shook her head to clear her mind, and then knocked softly on the wooden door. "Headmaster?" She said in a small voice as sge waited on the other side of the door for his response.
