@min yoongi Tao sighed softly as he looked around the feild as he he nodded to himself as he tried to fly in the air once more. He smiled to himself when he finally had gotten up into the air and shut his eyes before slowly moving around the feild" next year for sure I will be on the team i know I will be" he said to himself before he felt his broom move on his own making him fall onto the ground
@♘ ⓒ jung daehyun The male looked a him and looked down shivered slightly before smiling and tried to go a bit faster "T-this is fun" he said to the other and smiled at him before going slow again a bit scared of going to fast and smiled"Dae hyung could you teach me about quidditch please" he said to the other and smiled brightly and nuzzled him gently and took a deep breath for a moment and smiled at him again before landing after a while easily landing on his feet
@huang zitao He couldn't help but to smile at the younger boy's actions- he really was adorable. Soon, hopefully, he'd be a formidable Chaser, he could see it in him already. When Tao kicked off the ground, he quickly mounted his own broom and kicked off as well. Taking extra care to keep pace with him, he glided easily through the air, making sure not to create any kind of tailwind that might mess him up. "You're doing great," he called out supportively, grinning widely at the younger male.
@♘ ⓒ jung daehyun Tao smiled at him gently and kissed his cheek gently and nuzzled him gently and looked into his eyes and took a soft breath before looking at the other and smiled at him even more proudly of himself. "I did it I am so happy" he said to the other before nodding "I I just was given this by my father he said it was good luck for him" he said softly to him and held his hand as he kicked off the ground and smiled at him as he let go of the other before slowly flying around the field
@huang zitao Daehyun's face immediately lit up when Tao succeeded. "That was the first try, too! That's awesome, you're going to be an amazing Chaser!" He reached over to aim a good-natured and very gentle punch to the first-year's shoulder. "I have a Nimbus 2000 right now, but that's because my family isn't wealthy enough to get a Firebolt. So next up is mounting the broom and kicking off. I know it's really hard to not be nervous, but you have to try your best, alright?" He returns Tao's smile, his eyes crinkling happily. "I'll be flying right next to you, and I'll know if it looks like anything's going wrong."
@♘ ⓒ jung daehyun "O-okay" he said to the other and looked at him walking over looking down again towards teh other putting the broom down again and took a deep breath. "Okay we can do this" he mumbled softly "Up" he said as the broom went into his hands and smiled softly at the broom before looking at the other once more before smiling brightly "I did it" he said happily and looked at the other "What do you think is a good broom for chasers?" he asked the other and tilted his head slightly and smiled at him even more and took a deep breath again "What do I do know/" he asked the other
@huang zitao "I think it was a bit frightened, and it tried to jump up too quickly. Just be firm with it." Daehyun smiled, glancing down at his own broom. "Up," he called out, his tone pleasant yet authoritative, with a touch of fondness that can come from years of riding the same broom. The broomstick obeyed immediately, displaying as much energy as Tao's had but with a bit more control- clearly, the magical object was just itching to get up into the air, and Daehyun laughed as it zoomed up into his palm. "Just like that. It might take a while to get the feel for it, but you shouldn't worry too much. Once you get it right it get a lot easier." His eyes ran over Tao's broomstick, before he glanced up again to answer his question. "That looks like a school broomstick to me. It's a Shooting Star- it's not the best ride, not by a long shot, but it's a good one to start learning on."
@♘ ⓒ jung daehyun "Why did it hit me was I too mean to it?" he asked the other and smiled at him gently and looked at him for a moment and nuzzled him happily and held his broom again "we can do it broom" he said happily "Well...I am a fullblood as well" and looked at the other and smiled gently at him "what kind of broom do I have?" he asked the other and tilted his head for a moment and smiled at him brightly
@huang zitao Daehyun laughed heartily, stepping back and placing down his own broom. "Well, of course someone will replace me, Tao. Someone has to after I graduate." He watched as the younger male placed his broomstick down. "I'm a pureblood, so I'm pretty much used to magic. But I feel like flying is the one thing that feels magical. It's always a new feeling every time I do it, and it's always exciting.". He clapped his hands enthusiastically. "Anyway... I think your problem is that the broomstick is scared. They like to be in confident hands, y' know? That's why more experienced players have no trouble with it." He smiles at Taozi. "You just have to say 'up' in an appropriate tone. Not too commanding, of course, but not timidly ether."
@♘ ⓒ jung daehyun "Yes I want to be a chaser" he said to the other and shook his head when the other said he could replace the other "oh no no no I don't think anyone can replace you....." he said to the other and looked at him before smiling when the other hugged him back and looked at him brightly and pulled away blushing "A-ah my name is Zitao but most just call me Tao...or Taozi" he said to the other and smiled at him and looked at his broom. "What am I doing wrong with this broom does it not like me or something?" he asked the other with a tiilt of his head he looked at his broom again before looking back at the other. He smiled at him once more and shut his eyes for a moment and placed his brooom down. With help from the other he knew that he would be a flyer one day. "Ah why do you like Quidditich?" he asked the other softly
@huang zitao "Oh, a Chaser?" Daehyun couldn't help but to smile at that. "How about this, then- when I graduate, you can replace me!" He wasn't not joking in the slightest, and his tone was as sincere as ever. As the younger male placed his broom down again, he took a step back to give him room. "Don't worry about it, it's no problem. What's your name, th--" He was cut off by the younger student's arms wrapping around him, and he let out a happy laugh, giving him a gentle squeeze in return. "Oh, anytime!"
@♘ ⓒ jung daehyun "Huh?" he mumbled as the other went infront of him and looked at him and tilted his head and teared up "T-thank you so much....your so nice" he said to the elder Hufflepuff and smiled at him holding onto his broom and looked at him. He was his idol as a chaser he always wanted to be one. "I always wanted to be a chaser..." he said softly and looked down quietly "how does a broom listen to you?" he asked the other and put the broom on the ground and wondered how the other was going to teach him how to fly like he always wanted like he dreamed of. He smiled at him and tilted his ehad again and hugged him "Thank you so much"
@huang zitao "Hey, no-- wait up, alright?" Daehyun's grin froze on his face when he saw how sad the younger boy's expression was. He jogged after him, quickly cutting around in front of him. "The Quidditch Pitch is for flying. And that's why I'm not going to let you go back inside until we get you off the ground." He gives the first-year a gentle smile, reaching over and resting a hand on his shoulder. "Let's start with getting that broom to listen to you. I saw how it hit you, that's a tricky one, isn't it?"
@♘ ⓒ jung daehyun The younger looked at him and tilted his head and gasped he knew who the other was he was the captain of the quidditch team for his house and looked down "I been trying so hard and all it does it hit me in the face...maybe I am not meant to become a chaser" he said to the other and looked at him again standing up "I r-really wanted to learn how to play but I can't even get my broom to listen to me what is the use" he said before picking his broom up and stared at it with sad eyes "I am sorry for bothering you you can go back to flying I think I will just go back inside and sell this broom" bhe said softly as he started to make his way off the feild
@huang zitao Daehyun whistled softly to himself, his own broomstick slung casually over his shoulder as his shoes sank slightly into the soft grass. Flying was the only thing he'd ever wake up early on a weekend for. Even with all of the team practices he had to conduct, he still liked to find time to come down just by himself and practice his flying for a while. This morning, though, it seemed someone had beat him to it. He tilted his head, standing on the edge of the field and watching as the poor first-year tried to get his broomstick to obey him. When the Hufflepuff boy finally slumps sadly, sitting on the ground, Daehyun let out a cheerful laugh and hurried forward to stand in front of him, playfully nudging the boy's broomstick with his foot. "Hey, there. I've seen you around, haven't I? Why are you giving up so easily?"
@♘ ⓒ jung daehyun Tao looked around quietly as he made his way to the field and looked around taking a deep breath, with is broom in his hand he sat down and shut his eyes placing his broom on the ground before practicing what he had learn not to long ago "Up." he said before his broom went up a bit before smacking him right on the face. He groaned softly rubbing his head and whined "I will never be good at this....I really want to fly on my broom thought..but how can I if it keeps on hitting me right on the head" he said to himself brooding quietly and shut his eyes sitting on the ground glaring at the broom.
@kristen stewart The bell rang and Emma ran out to the fields. She was little late for their plans on the Quidditch field so she ran as fast as she could. Because most of her friends were always talking about quidditch, she felt that she should also try to take part in all the hype. All she had was a broom, but no talent in quidditch whatsoever, so she tried to learn. Rushing over to the pitch she went inside to get herself ready. She placed on her scarf and a robe so she wouldn't get cold out. As for quidditch gear, she just didn't have any.
Emma walked outside with her broomstick out on the field to wait for her friend. She was feeling excited for this new lesson as she had always wanted to try it out, but never had the time for it. Quidditch wasn't really her thing as being an observer, it looked really hard for her. But, hey might as well try to give it a shot. She walked to the center of the field and waited.
@zac efron It isn't that Seokjin is afraid of his students, hell, he'd transform them into rats and drag them around by the tails if they dared raise a wand at him, but he is known for being a softie. There were students who barely passed all his exams and still managed to end up with A's in his class. Effort is worth more than a grade for him. What does a letter prove at the end of the day? "Ah, sure, we can talk about it." Zachary Efron, a quidditch jock from what he could see, but in bad standing for his own opinion. Already, those blue irises have Seokjin's reserve backing down somewhat. Honestly, he didn't plan on banning Zac from his games, but the headmaster already reprimanded him for being overly soft with the students whenever they pouted or bat their lashes. And it's when Zac towers over him slightly that Seokjin's eyes narrow. Thankfully, the student backs down in a plea rather than going for intimidation. That's something Seokjin could never let go, so the younger chose wisely. "I don't mind being hated, I'm only following school protocols." Surely, that was a rule book collecting dust in his bottom desk drawer; Seokjin's one of the more lax professors who honestly doesn't care to bother students often. "You do realize you've been banned due to your grades. You've done it to yourself." Don't back down, don't crumble, Seokjin, you can do- "How about you work as my assistant until the game and I'll wave the ban?" Great job at holding your reserve, he thought in a mental sigh. The headmaster would kill him if he let Zac off easily. "Report to my classroom whenever you're off class and if you skip out, I'm seriously going to get you removed from the quidditch team." It's evident in his expression that he would because Seokjin can't stand when people try skirting around his already generous soul.
@zac efron Before she had slammed down to earth, she faintly remembered the Gryffindor Keeper, the foreigner Zac, trying to grab her hand, but of course, he hadn't been fast enough, and gravity had inevitably won this one. Her entire body was thrumming with sharp, deep, aching pains, especially her head and neck. For a moment, in her sluggish state, she wondered if she had broken her back, or worse, her neck...and she could feel the cold fingers of terror clawing at her chest in a panic. Her thoughts however, were slow and fuzzy from the pain and the shock, and she just laid there in the sand for what felt like an eternity, though, she knew realistically, she had probably only laid there for three or so seconds.
The young Seeker heard someone say her name, well, not exactly her name, but a nickname given to her, by the Keeper of the opposite team. All the members of all four quidditch teams knew each other, they had to, they all practiced together, and had matches together, and competed with each other, it would be strange not to know each other. Though, she wasn't very close to this Zac kid, they were just acquaintances, they saw each other during matches, and during scrimmages and that was really it. Though, Korean wasn't his first language, and so he had adopted a nickname for the dark blonde witch. He was the first to reach her, the rest of her team clustered behind him like baby ducklings, anxiously trying to see Yongsun, and if she was okay. As soon as the Gryffindor touched her, she felt not only jagged bolts of pain shoot through her, but she was also ripped out of reality, and into a violent flash of imagery.
This had never happened to before, usually when she touched someone, she only got faint, unclear and incoherent visions from them, nothing she could make out. And the sensation was never this vivid or real feeling...perhaps, she thought deep down, she had hit her head a lot harder than she had thought, and was having some crazy hallucinations. What she saw however, greatly disturbed her, she was new to this world of Magic, but she had learned about the Death Eaters, and the Dark Mark...and what this vision, in a flash of bright images, was showing her, was Zac getting the Dark Mark. by some dark, faceless man dressed in all black. There were other dark, faceless figures in the vision, they were standing around, watching the blue-eyed boy get marked, their sinister laughter echoing in her head.
Yongsun was torn back to reality, and realized she was being carried by the older wizard, as he made his way off the field and towards the infirmary, her team falling him like loyal puppies, wandering after their captain. "You didn't...catch me...fast enough..." she bit out softly, obviously cross with him for failing, before she was back into the black void of unconsciousness.
@kim yongsun He recalls only brief flickers of the practice match, their Keeper alternate having taken his position for much of the time, an opportunity to gain new experience whilst Zac could coach and observe a rookie. When it was his time to replace the inexperienced one, however, Zac can only distinctly remember /her/.
The caramel-colored locks catching the dangerous whip of Autumn winds as she spiraled haphazardly through the sky, adrenaline bursting through the veins of a powerfully built physique as Zac is instantaneously rushing towards that figure, so tiny, so delicate- she would not last the impact, and he needed to save her. His reaction time the only one really swift enough, blue orbs intensely burning, broom soaring, an arm extending out to her in hopes she would simply reach for him in return. But despite his keen ability to take charge within a moment's notice, he's too muscular to be quick enough on broom, and she collides with Earth and sand, an indistinguishable cry splitting from his lips because he can't stand to have someone carelessly hurt under his watch.
"Sunny, hey, hey, I'm here--" The nickname deriving from his previous failures of attempting to pronounce her name, he lands with heavy feet striking the ground, thick and protective arms rapid in their task of scooping her itty bitty frame out of the dirt, knowing that she needed medical attention and a sturdy body to lean upon as she was carried there. "I gotcha, it's okay, it's okay..." The rest of the Ravenclaw team at his heels, all of them rushing towards the comfort of the infirmary, Zac stutters out anything that might possibly offer the girl sanctuary in the excruciating amount of pain she must be in, his broad shoulder her secure headrest as he carries her bridal-style.
@zac efron Ravenclaw was never, and had never, been super competitive with Gryffindor, especially in a scrimmage match. Though, this game was different. Even if it wasn't an official match, both Quidditch teams were oddly serious and aggressive today, and the tensions were running high for both sides. And Yongsun, wasn't one who liked to lose, and she sure as hell didn't like to disappoint her teammates. Being the Seeker was a lot of responsibility, and the young witch was very good, for being a second year, and a muggle-born who had never played before last year. The game was well under way, even half-way finished, with Gryffindor barely in the lead. It had been like that the whole game, Gryffindor was ahead, but just /barely/. Yongsun knew she needed to find the annoying little golden snitch, and soon, so her team could win this against the formidable and overly sporty Gryffindors. And, she spoke, er thought, not a moment too soon. There was a golden flash from the corner of her eye, and she quickly her broom to zero in on the little golden snitch, and she also noticed the Gryffindor Seeker had seen it as well. Gritting her teeth, she took off as fast as her broom could go towards the snitch, as it bobbed and weaved around the other players, and started to sink lower, under the other players. The witch followed, her long light-colored hair billowing behind her as she zeroed in on the snitch...she was close...so close. Yongsun reached out her hand, willing her broom to go even faster when...the Gryffindor Seeker barreled right into her at full speed. There was a slight gasp from the few in the crowd that had come to watch the practice match, and before the witch knew it, she had lost her grip and her balance on her broom, and was falling quickly. It all happened in the blink of an eye, and then she hit the ground with a loud thud, her broom landing in a clatter not far from her. "S...hit..." She cursed under her breath through gritted teeth. The pain from the landing shot through her whole body, but mainly gathered in her back and in her head, she knew she was going to have one hell of a concussion, and the worst bruises /ever/.
@kim seokjin "What do you mean 'banned'? I thought you were joking!" The sting of hurt and the abrupt lilt in his voice causes the sea of bodies surrounding his powerfully built physique to drift closer, pulled in with caution, worried what he might say, but mostly worried about what he might do. Zac isn't going to physically harm or draw his wand on the Professor, but he would sure as hell ing like to sometimes- not that Seokjin wasn't an easy enough obstacle to ignore, it was just that now... now he was really hitting Zac where it was most important. "Professor, can we just.. talk about this for a moment?" Certainly, he had his charms, those wide baby blues glistening as they capture the soft glow of Autumn sunlight. An arm corded with rippling muscle beneath a gold-and-crimson striped practice jumper, splaying out to gesture that they take their conversation elsewhere; though there would always be prying eyes whenever Zachary Efron was concerned, at least no one could officially eavesdrop once they've moved safely off the Pitch. And once it is just the two of them, the thick lashes that frame burning sapphires flutter, gaze flitting up and down the smaller creature who's soft appearance and pillowed lips caused Zac to underestimate his authority time and time again. Crossing thick arms over the expanse of a toned chest, the Keeper leans in, attempting to intimidate with some sort of size advantage, but losing that battle when his eyes gently pleaded. "You can't ban me from the Pitch days before the huge Gryffindor-Slytherin match, Professor. Everyone would bloody hate you for it! Everyone knows I'm the best Keeper in the entire castle, our alternate can't compare, he would just it up for the rest of the team."
Can Calvin have a one month hiatus? I'm pretty much just going through alot of stuff and can't emotionally handle this right now. Like, I've literally lost the will to live, to be honest.
