Any utterance of a word would be perished by a single hush of a chiding mother at a time like this, where the air is tense and just the silence for comfort while the church prays for the fallen man vainly decorated in his casket because even in death no man can rest before presenting himself to God with the utmost class.
A child, no younger than ten, sat with his mother battling the onslaught of tears that threatened to spill while prayer passed, watching with glistening eyes as his aunt struggled to meet her brother. Goodwife Hiraoka stood at the front of the open casket, cloth tissue crushed in her vice grip as he sobbed into it. She had a name, but a woman married is now property to her husband, thus keeping the name hushed only to be spoken by her owner. Hiraoka uttered words of parting to her brother before breaking into sobs and having her husband usher her out before falling into hysterics.
Next was Goodwife Funai and her son. The ten year old clung tightly to his mother as they approached the casket, grief finally spilling from his eyes once he stopped and stood over the man he once called papa. He saw the peace in the dead man’s face but wasn’t asleep, his chest wasn’t moving. Funai’s son peered over the gleaming oakwood to get a closer look but suddenly was yanked back with a hiss, eyes under the translucent cloak glaring down at him in a scolding and nearly threatening manner.
“Behave, Naoki,” she hissed, gripping the boy’s arm tight. He knew the protocol before falling back on his heels, tears spilling from the pain while they walked down the aisle and near the exit.
“You disrespectful boy,” Goodwife Funai screeched as her hand struck the boy on his cheek, earning a wail from the child. She towered over the crumpled figure, breathing heavily with tears in her eyes. Naoki didn’t know what he did wrong to get punished but he had a feeling he deserved it somehow.
“I-I’m sorry mama--”
“DON’T call me that,” her voice boomed, “I am not your mother.”
{} you can predict what happens after bc im too tired to finish lol
@ᵒ himchan☪k。 Okay c: I'll have to do it in the morning though ;; because my laptop isn't connecting and I always make huge types when I'm on mobile ;;
@ᵒ himchan☪k。 okay i'll start! but i was wondering, cause i already have a basic idea of what i want to write but need my laptop, which pov would you prefer this to be in? c: I'm fine with either pov!
@sunwoo c。 I think Yoongi being the silent type will fit well with Himchan's reserved but secretly dorky/energetic self. I also have a second open plot and that's where Himchan does not know how to use his ice powers properly (he's a newbie) and when he stomps he makes everything turn into ice under him -- it gets a bit dangerous especially for non-ice affinity wolves
@himchan k。 Wait oops I thought I replied...but yes that sounds perfect! Should we start it in the hallway then move it elsewhere or just stay in the one place like on walls?
@himchan k。 Well Sunwoo is a flirty type, a man with a mysterious back ground, he before coming here was known as Ritchie Rich (gang affiliation) and once leaving it behind came up with the name Baro, he is incredibly swell at martial arts and combat and doesn't back down to most people.
Yoongi is the silent alpha type, he is very formal and before here was a nomad, he has a princely aura and won't back down to people being disrespectful to others. He is rather strict with keeping order, but still he is kind to those who deserve it.
@selin s。 Yeahhh
Maybe selin notices himchan has no friends and is havingtrouble with that...somehow intervenes and ends up getting closeseeing the true him that is opposite of how he presents himself?
@himchan k。 Ahh thought so! I'm not sure why I thought so xD
Oh that'll be interesting I reckon! How do you think we should go about the hurt and comfort? Like a teacher that himchan confides in? Or should we go another way with it?
@selin s。 That matches perfectly c; And yes, Himchan is a student at the school :)
ohhh interesting~ maybe ends up acting like a teacher's pet xD He sorta is reserved at the beginning so people think he's cold/stoic when he isn't, like if they saw who he truly was they'd be like "plot twiiiiiist"
@himchan k。 Hahaha yeah I made Selin out to be a little dorky and have a sort of overprotective tendency while wanting to make sure everyone feels somewhat happy. Hurt & comfort seems to fit these two best don't you think so?? Oh is himchan a student btw?? Cause Selin is a teacher haha
@selin s。 My charrie is usually silly and goofy but he's practically a loner, a lone wolf
and new at the school -- I usually do angst, hurt & comfort, action and drama
