@ᵃ jaebum✙i。 "Well obviously, the nurse wont let you go about prancing around and potentially making that injury worse." Seto huffed before shifting slightly so he was sitting a bit more comfortably."Should i get the tea as well?" Seto offered, teasing slightly with a grin on his lips. "It's not like you were out for days, Jae. But, from the time that you had missed, there has been...talk about potentially bringing together classes and teaching them to fight and be prepared." Seto mused before thinking a bit more. "There had been someone that suggested that omegas were to be kept out of it....you can imagine the outrage for that suggestion." At the last part, Seto suppressed the growl that threatened to slip past his lips. "There's alot of fear in the air, most of it is underlying now. But still fear nevertheless." Something flickered from Seto's eyes before he smiled rather sheepishly. "That was kind of a downer. But, essentially that's what you've missed. A few children has also been adopted, from what I heard. So there's some good news."

@ℋ ᵒ seto✙k。 "Well, there's nothing more I can do about my recovery other than lay here," He quips, cozying up to the side that Seto was sitting on; Jaebum arranges himself carefully, and takes one of the two pillows under his head to tuck it against his torso as he rolls further to see Seto - it serves to support his torso and keep his arm from going numb as one hand lays between his head and the bed. "What have I missed? Anything interesting in or out of classes? C'mon man, I need that bedside TEA time!"

@donghyun k。 Watching his mate suffer like this, Yeonhak pushed the blanket back from Donghyun's legs before he scooped the male into his arms and held him against his chest. He would find a place to bring him, and he would get a hold of the only person he trusted around his mate that might be able to help him. "Just hold on, baby, just hold on." It wasn't fear that seized him, but anger that drove his need to protect his sweet mate.

@yeonhak k。 "now." donghyun's eyes began to fall shut again, the trembling beginning once more as shivers wracked his spine; he was unable to draw any more heat from yeonhak, and the icy coldness in his core was preventing him from doing anything for himself. "let's go now-" mumbling, the words hardly audible, donghyun pressed a weak kiss to yeonhak's collar, resting his forehead on the other's shoulder.

@donghyun k。 The taller male pulled his own jacket tighter about his mate's shoulders and he lowered his head to softly press his lips against the older male's temples and forehead. "When can you walk?" His voice is hushed as he speaks to his lover, more concerned with how he might move his mate than anything else at that moment than any request for a kiss.

@yeonhak k。 "mm- i do." without a doubt, donghyun is nowhere near a stable set of mind, and part of him keeps slipping in and out of consciousness. it's enough to keep him upright and alert, to an extent, but proper thought processes were a bit of a stretch. "kisses." he mumbled, shifting against yeonhak, the jacket sliding from his shoulders as he tried to basically curl up against the little warmth he could find.

@donghyun k。 "I can take you somewhere," he whispered. The thought crossed his mind for but a moment, knowing that a healthy, normal Donghyun would never agree to the idea he was about to propose. "Will you trust me?" His eyebrows rose, his face appearing more open than usual as he looked upon his suffering, shivering mate. "Tell me you trust me, love."

@yeonhak k。 fingers slowly inching towards yeonhak's stomach, donghyun looked up at him with a sort of smile, though he was definitely more uncomfortable than the opposite. "can we- is there- more? more um- w-warmth? somewhere else?" it was almost as if he had to force the words from his mouth, his eyes fluttering shut with a small groan as he felt some, but not much, heat press to his neck.

@donghyun k。 Briefly, Yeonhak considered the practicality of pulling his shirt over his mate's head and protecting the beta in his shirt. He knew that if he wanted to get him somewhere with warmer blankets, heat, and his own body heat easily shared, he would have to get his mate somewhere else. "I would give you all my warmth, love," he murmured. His fingers caressed the nape of Donghyun's neck as he held him close, hoping to give him some warmth there, even if it was so little.

@yeonhak k。 forcing his eyes open, donghyun pursed his lips for a moment in brief thought, giving a small nod. he had no idea if he could walk yet, but even after the events of the day, he didn't want to seem so weak. it was a downfall of his, but he couldn't fight it, even when clearly a mess. "i need- warmth." he murmured, icy hands slipping under yeonhak's shirt to steal his warmth, continuing to press into his mate.

@donghyun k。 Yeonhak held his mate tightly, embracing him as his arms felt to him like stone, encircling the man that he centered his world upon. He snarled, his lips drawn back from his teeth in a sound of disgust, like a dog in need of the last bark; in fact, that wasn't so far from the truth. The slender male dipped his head and pressed his chin into his lover's shoulder, doing his best to surround him. "We need to get you warmed up, baby. Can you walk yet?"

@yeonhak k。 instantly melting into the warmth, donghyun took solace in yeonhak's arms and buried himself into his chest, shivering against the strength of his lover. "shh, shh.." donghyun murmured, the sounds clear but a bit shaky as he trembled, freezing, against the clearly disheveled male. "im... okay. just- cold. s-so cold." as he slumped against yeonhak, it took all of his strength to not collapse into him completely.

@donghyun k。 As soon as he saw the flurry of motion, and Donghyun's arms raised, Yeonhak fell onto the side of the bed, tugged off his jacket, then draped it about his mate and wrapped his arm about him. "What happened, baby?" he whispered. He lifted a hand to place his warm palm over the chill nape of his mate's neck, and rested his other hand on the small of the older male's back. "What happened? Are you hurt? Tell me you're okay. I'll tear the bastards limb from limb I swear to God just let me catch one and I'll dine on their throats so help me-"

@yeonhak k。 as more light filtered into the area, donghyun's eyes crinkled as he shut them tighter, and he would have been more on edge if he hadn't heard the all too familiarly territorial growl rumble in the room. on cue, before yeonhak even spoke, donghyun drew his arms from his shirt, tossed the blanket off his body halfway, and reached with trembling arms to his mate. he looked like he had just walked out of a meat freezer, pale and blue in some extremities. he was cold. all that escaped his blue lips was a small whimper, words unable to tumble from his lips

@donghyun k。 The second he scented his mate in the air, he rushed to his side. Slowly, the thorn dislodged itself from his heart, though the ache only doubled as soon as he laid his eyes on the edge of the bed that smelled most strongly of his mate. He growled, low in his throat, as if anyone would dare approach him then, and sprinted forward. Gripping the edge of the curtain he roughly tugged it aside just enough to allow himself entrance, and he strode inside with more purpose than he'd probably ever had. "Donghyun-ah..."

@yeonhak k。 the second the doors burst open, donghyun knew it was his mate. the air shifted, the longing in his chest was harder to ignore. but he couldn't get up, as much as he wanted to. he was too cold, his mind was hardly working. so instead of moving, donghyun simply closed his eyes and hoped that yeonhak would find him shortly- he missed his mate's arms, he missed the warmth. he missed everything, and it had all started with a horrible morning.

@donghyun k。 Alarmed at what he had heard the moment he returned to the fold of the packs, Yeonhak had only a single word in his head, and a thorn shoved into his heart to the root at his sudden fear. He burst through the door to the infirmary, the solid door hitting the wall with a thud, and he looked about the rows of beds and drawn curtains with an all too familiar amber glint in his eyes. It would have taken so little for him to snap as he searched for his mate and paced across the sterile floor.

@ᵃ jaebum✙i。 "You serious? You've literally was laying on the ground bleeding not too long ago. How do you feel better?" Seto quipped as he slowly took a few steps forward. "Me? I'm-" Flashes of himself drowning in the memories, of the ice had started to spread around him, of him being torn between holding his head between his hands wanting to scream and breaking to losing himself in his fury and the other side surfacing. "Fine. Nothing I haven't dealt with before." Seto smiled easily, before huffing playfully. "If anything, I need to be worried about you. You don't need to worry about me, just work on recovering first, neh?"

@ℋ ᵒ seto✙k。 It becomes hard to keep looking up at Suzuki from the way that Jaebum is curled up, but he shifts just in time to meet another familiar punk he loves dearly. Opening his arms, Jaebum grins and wiggles his fingers, "C'mere twerp. Alright? I've never felt BETTER." That bright cheeky smile of Jaebum's shines brightly for the first time all day and he insists the other comes to join. "How are YOU? Are you okay?"

"I don't want this to happen again, either, Hyojung..." He mutters, sympathetic with the other despite their riff from earlier; it seems to have blown over for the most part, and Takahiro's attention turns to a youngster seated on Jaebum's bed, talking about the brave students that stepped forward today.

@ᵃ jaebum✙i。 Hearing the other laugh and seeing him smile was making the small panic within him calm down a bit more and increase the chances of feeling the affects of the branding anytime soon, but he was going to take this moment as much as he can. He was rarely like this and he probably will continue to be like this for the next few months or so. Hey! He's coming out of his shell at least! Once he hears Jaebum's voice deepen and call him "Suzuki-chan", however, his heart skips a beat for a second unexpectedly. That was... kind of hot? . Uh. Suzuki shakes his head quickly, trying to stop himself from probably blushing. He proceeds to laugh it off once Jaebum mentions that he was kidding as well and he very, super lightly shoves at the other from the bed. "Don't bring my hopes up like that, Jaebum-kun!!"

Honestly, when Suzuki heard Takahiro's voice come out of nowhere, he almost fell of the bed if it weren't for his amazing reflexes and reaction time. He listens to the other speak inspiring words, finding himself being motivated to be a better person and to be stronger to protect his new family. "Yeah! We won't let hunters run this place either! You can trust us like we trust you!" Suddenly, his heart flutters at the sudden hair ruffling due to his absolute love for head pats or hair ruffling. He blushes slightly and smiles to himself. "My annoyingness comes out at the worst of times, oopsies. But hey, I don't regret it because I didn't run away this time."

@suzuki h。 Suzuki made it so that Jaebum's first waking moments were struck with the pangs of laughter and the resulting pain - it was so stupidly hilarious and he couldn't stop despite the knots in his stomach. "S-Suzuki, you er," he ambles between tearful laughter, partly from lying down so long and some residual from the light - which, thanks to Suzuki's bulbous head - was no longer an issue. "Suzuki-chan," he beings with his voice deepening in the most gruff way he could possibly achieve, "I cannot fulfill your request, but I will fight to do so.... Just kidding, I'll maybe help you in school and , but nah," and Jaebum's voice returns to normal. And instead of joking further, Jaebum is surprised with vulnerability on Suzuki's part.

"You know, that's what I appreciate hearing," Takahiro chimes from the background, and Jaebum quips at the elder, "Hey, that's my line!" Sharing a quick stare off, Jaebum is the first to give in and nods. Allowing Takahiro to speak. "I appreciate that because it shows that teaching you all, and arming you all is going to prove to be the right way to go. I'm not about to let any hunters run this place." He saunters near as he speaks and drops his intimidating demeanor for a more kind one, ruffling Suzuki's hair. "You were annoying as hell out there, but brave too."

@ᵃ jaebum✙i。 Seto stood closer to a corner, his posture deceptively loose as he heard "Jaebum starting to wake up. Unable to help the soft laughter at Suzuki's quip, Seto glanced at the one still bounded to the bed. "You alright?" His voice soft. Seto took a slow deep breath, trying to force himself to remain as he was. Forcing himself to look ahead and not pay attention to the small voice in his head, screaming at him. Cursing him out for not listening to the voice, to the side that knew how to deal with everything and for just freezing up earlier.

Minhyuk sat in quietly listening to all the conversations, his eyes seemingly fixated upon the wall, he appeared fine, normal if one may so added but it was a face of a nightmare growing within the pits of his stomach as he shifted every now and again almost as if there was a light paranoia.

@ᵇ takahiro m。 donghyun's eyes couldn't focus, nor would they if he wanted them to. as he shifted his gaze, chocolate eyes slipping to fall on a figure he didn't recognize, panic began to settle in. where was he? what was happening? and why the hell was he so cold? "where- what..." though he couldn't form a sentence, his fingers tightened around the sheets under his body before he began to tuck his arms into his shirt, shivers wracking his body.

@donghyun k。 @hyojung k。 Takahiro saunters into the infirmary hours later to check in on the status of the wolves who were affected - also, the suffocating feeling of being in his office forced him out, it had been ages since he last felt he had truly lived. "We indeed to," he nods to Hyojung and regards Donghyun, "Being careful comes when we all recuperate - How are you doing, Donghyun? Morning, sunshine. Hyojong, does he need any bandages changed?"
