Hyukjae ran in flailing his arms around running down each isle. He scrunched his face at the bunches of bound groups of paper never really liking books in general before he ran back out.
@Hwang Miyoung [[OTL sorry >n< I'm using my phone and auto corrects are ruining everything. Yeeaaahhhhh okay.]]
Ryeowook lead their way to the forbidden section and nobody even realized that they were doing it brightly open. Before he got in, he made sure no one was watching them and being cautious, he quickly entered the forbidden section that he was very aware. He visited this section a few times in his previous days in Hogwarts, but every entry to it made him wonder by all the mysteries that are encrypted here.
"Let's go and find my favourite book," he told Tiffany once she was in too. He knew that some effective potions have a strong ingredient to it and finding it in your local store won't do. He was strolling through thebookshelves filled with old, cracked books until he found a peculiar one entitled: "The Legend of the Kim's".
[[Hot......Is that haunt or something else? O-O]]
[[What if we changed it that Tiffany came back after she cleaned the cauldrons]]
She felt a tug on her wrist as she twisted around to face someone. She panicked sightly before realized who it was. Flustered, she stammered, "Y-Yep!" She laughed sheepishly, "Don't worry, I didn't wait long either. I had to clean cauldrons." She shrugged as she took the bag of sweets.
She beamed at him as she looked at the paper bag full of sweets. "Thank you~" She cooed as she glanced around. Most of the students were too into their books or studying that they barely noticed them. "Let's go to the Forbidden Section." She winked as she pointed out the sleepy librarian. She also muttered, "It's fine...Being late as I was too."
He hurried to the library worriedly. He totally forgot that he promised some 2nd years to teach them a chapter they didn't get in potions. It took Ryeowook longer than he thought, because it's already way pass their curfew and someone might catch him in the middle of the night of he hadn't been moving as quiet as a mouse. But he was mostly concern that Tiffany would be gone by the time he'd reached the library but at the entrance of it he bumped shoulders into somebody and he recognized that scent that hot him.
Before the figure could escape, Ryeowook turned around and grabbed her wrist, pulling her back to him. Judging by the dim moonlight through the windows, he recognized her as Tiffany. "It's a good thing I caught you, otherwise I would've stayed here for the whole night," he joked in a hushed voice. "And sorry I'm late, tutoring took longer than I thought so will you accept my apology with this?" Ryeowook asked as he pulled up a paper bag filled with muggle snacks like potato chips, candy and other kinds light food. He hoped she accepts them and that she wasn't that upset with him even though he was terribly late for their appointment.
She huffed impatiently. She had to inform Ryeowook that she would be late, she forgot to clean the cauldrons yesterday and was being punished by cleaning it today. She ruffed her hair in annoyance as she scanned the quiet library, as books floated around. "Where is he..." She whined softly. She had to get back to clean it or she would be there all night. She rubbed her eyes, it didn't help that her precious awaited nap was canceled. She made a sour face as she hid it under a random book she found. She knew that she looked she was looking for revenge but the book hid her face well.
She sighed, what if he decided not to come? She quietly placed the book in its proper place as she sulked her way to the doorway. At least she would have a reasonable alibi if her teacher decided to ask where she was. She brushed her hair out of her eyes as she glanced back once more. *Whatever, it's just wasted time...* She silently grumbled as she accidentally bumped shoulders with someone. Muttering a soft apology, she went straight without looking back, perhaps the person won't notice it was her, if she didn't look back of course.
@Kim Jongin (Kai) [wrote this in a rush during class cRIES NO JUDGING! ]
Rather than taking offence at the other's actions, Sehun internally took a deep breath of relief.
The quicker Jongin released him, the quicker the both of them would feel happier. But Sehun could not ignore the sudden rise in temperature around of them and of the other's skin
For some strange reason it was really all too amusing to Sehun and he started to find himself in the position where he'd end up bursting out in laughter.
Naturally, Sehun kept his cool and ignored the signature smirk which had plastered itself on Jongin's lips. The sarcasm was so painfully obvious, Sehun bit back the urge to roll his eyes.
Sehun's nonchalance had long since disappeared from his expression.
For so long, Sehun hadn't revealed his annoyance in anything, slowly becoming known as the blanked-faced boy who didn't say anything most of the time (and pale enough to be able to be compared to the frail complexion of a ghost's). And during that time period, he had managed to ward off any interest he found in anything becoming rather numb to the opinions of others. The unnecessary aesthetic lifted when Jongin dared to acknowledge him and for some reason Sehun felt the need to punch the snarky bastard in the face (or something similar to the likes) because of it.
And the earlier sliver of interest he had gained from the other's brash actions had dissipated into annoyance--a bit like the strand of hair which had fallen in front of his eyes during the 'scuffle' (for lack of a better word).
The last thing he needed was Pince to come over and bite off their heads (perhaps losing several house points in the run).
"My original intention here was to study," Sehun drawled, while blowing the hair out of his eyes,"but apparently that's not happening."
Sehun spun on his heel, his robes flapping around his ankles noisily. Before Jongin could retort or say something to further annoy him, Sehun had already walked straight out the library doors.
@Oh Sehun He was in no way prepared for the horrors that would consume him, especially in this state, but no amount of preparation ever did ease the uncertainty in his chest. He wanted to yell, to cause some sort of physical damage to the other, he wanted to take out his frustrations and pent up anguish for ever talking to him. But didn't Jongin force that onto him? He could have left, to take care of some other important tasks the others left for him, but instead he remained in his spot with the other. Perhaps there was still unfinished business in this strange relationship.
But supposedly the other had carried a bit of a behavior in which Jongin was unsure of how he was capable of handling. Working with the reckless has never been mentioned in being part of Slytherin. Being a silent, jack-ss was a typical trait for a stereotypical person if they were in that specific, so he shouldn't be so surprised. It could have been his doll-like face that caught him off guard, assuming he must've been a part of Ravenclaw instead for standing out to Jongin. Though that wasn't the point, if the male wanted to snap at him, he couldn't stop him. He's allowed to make his own choices, be it something that could save his breath or be the cause of him getting a punch to the nose. Nine times out of ten was the latter.
But the sudden warmth that flooded his body was the final straw.
Jongin merely rolled his eyes at the familiar jeer that scathed him just as much as that bump into the other that he didn't even feel. Never under any circumstances should you ever lay your hands on him and give him the look of challenge, because all he's going to do is twist yours words into something that will satisfy him. Maybe the reason why he kept retorting back these statements was just to spite the boy. He always knew he had a thing for the snarky sh-ts and their smart -ss remarks.
"Aw, I knew you liked me." A wry smile etched onto his lips as he found himself backing away from this Sehun, raising his hands to slowly unwrap the unwanted hands around his neck. After being a full two years in Hogwarts, everyone he had tricked on being alone with confirmed they had grown an attachment to him, resulting in him leaving towards in the end. That was the thing, he kept them on their toes though they couldn't stand too long. He was just too much of an arrogant imbecile filled with pride, assuming that everyone loved him no matter how they reacted to him on their first meeting. Oh Sehun was just another one of them.
And this was just almost too easy.
He smirked, raising his eyebrows as he teasingly patted the boy's head in gratitude. "Anyway, thanks but no thanks. You're such a darling for clearing things up because at least now I know you're one awful liar." He conveniently left out 'you little sh-t' because the last thing he needed is the boy walking out on him now and the expectation of the lost of points. The sarcasm dripped from his tone as he shoved his hands into his pockets, giving a blinding smile and wondering if he'd be deliberately cussed out or punched in the face.
Sehun dropped the book he was holding as he was tugged forward by his waist. He was almost too stunned to react to such a rash move. If this was any other day, he would probably retaliate, whip out his wand, throw a few curses in the general direction of the latter and end up duelling.
He really could have walked away.
But something so intriguing about the boy had made him want to stay, see, /hear/, what other ridiculous things he would say or do.
Oh ing Sehun, you’re so stupid, /why/ didn’t you walk away earlier?
And while the other's hand moved up to rest on his mouth and Sehun almost had the urge to scream (like the major he was) but Sehun did nothing to fuel the one sided war.
There was a gentle tug of his hair and a somewhat inhumane sound spilled from Sehun's dry lips (from over-) and every fibre within him tensed up. He swore he felt his heart thump as something soft and foreign grazed along the sensitive strip of his neck. He shuddered, unable to comprehend the mushed stream of thoughts which entered his mind.
And for some strange reason, Sehun doesn't know what devilish being had possessed the want in him to say the next few words because it was sorely unlike him. But what really struck a chord, somewhere deep within him was his name. It was oddly familiar--probably because Sehun had heard it thrown around the hallways once or twice.
An uncharacteristically sadistic smirk spreaded across Sehun's features and he had no idea what to say but his mouth opened anyway. "Please," he retorted, "I'm not here for you."
As much as he hated such physical contact, (the last time being when he hugged his mother on platform 9 ¾ several years ago) Sehun held his stance and s his arms around the latter’s neck, almost in an intimate embrace. "/Oh Sehun/ doesn't take commands from anyone. Especially from someone named Kim Jongin."
A part of Sehun was terrified, absolutely unsure of what Jongin would do or say because at this point, Sehun was sure that if he was pressed up any closer, Jongin would be able to feel his suddenly restless heart flip and ram into his ribcage.
@Oh Sehun Where was his wand. He'd fling the boy out the window himself if he didn't stop resisting. Despite the fact he absolutely detested others cussing towards him, he hadn't meant for this to go so far, only joking around with the boy but he also found it darkly thrilling without any of the vulgarities included. If he wasn't in the mood of deliberately threatening another to get out of his sight, he resorted into this type of behavior. However, since the other wasn't completely pushing him away half-halfheartedly, he might as well take advantage.
The slight shiver from the other sent a tingle of satisfaction down his long spine. He was always content with knowing that he invoked fear into others, it was an ego booster, a certainty that made him know that he was a Slytherin for all the right reasons.
Jongin's defenses were completely down when he wasn't fully aware of anything, mere minutes ago being a prime example. His most vulnerable times were when he woke up, was feverish, or drunk off his rocker. It was during these times when he was completely honest with no self-restraint whatsoever. He knew that himself. Jongin understood the nervousness in the other. But if this situation were the other way around, he'd probably try to decapitate whoever tried to touch him. Though the damage was done, the odds weren't in his favor and the kid was pretty much here to stay until satisfied with answers.
"What am I doing?" he mused, wrapping a strapping arm around the latter's firm waist and clapping a hand over the boy's mouth to silence any noise. "If you must know, the likes of you aren't welcomed here when I'm present..." he rasped into the boy's ear, letting his lips brushing against the flesh of the human's ear as a warm breath gusted over it. He tightened his hold on the stranger's waist, holding him captive as the hand on the other's mouth slipped away, tangling into the boy's hair and pulling his head back so the Slytherin could run his lips along the boy's neck, the faint tang of salty skin was sweet on his mouth. "Or maybe that's just me being Kim Jongin."
[i'm gonna him
can i do that
i want to do that pMsL[];\
@Kim Jongin (Kai) The other smirked at him and Sehun blinked in response, quite unsure of how to reply to the other in a way that was deemed polite. From a young age, ‘polite’ was never a word that remained in his vocabulary, but even if he did, it was a moral he had easily avoided--thus talking to someone became somewhat of a moot matter because ‘if you don’t have anything nice to say, then don’t say anything at all’.
However this boy became one of an exception and destroyed Sehun’s many years of silence and seeing he had done what many people have attempted to break open, Sehun thought he may as well acknowledge his presence.
So Sehun replied in a rather impassive manner again, disregarding the tough pat on his head the other had given him, “If you could hear my thoughts," Sehun wrapped his fingers around the underside of the other boy's wrist and gingerly lifted his hand off, "I’m not as mute as you think I am." A small smile formed on his lips. “Little do many know.”
Sehun doesn't seem to understand why the other seemed so incredibly interested in him. He was a quiet, if not rather moody Slytherin who preferred books and charms over people--unlike this boy, who was the exact opposite him, cocky, brash and full of everything Sehun is not. Sehun is the definition of boring while the latter reeks of typical teenage hormones and probably makes girls swoon at a batt of an eyelash.
It all happened rather quickly and it had taken Sehun some time to realise the provocative situation he had found himself in because in a matter of a couple of seconds the other had leant over, close to him, face a little too close for comfort, smelling like testosterone and other deodorant, and whispered into Sehun’s ear. The boy’s breath tickled the nape of Sehun’s bare neck and earlobe and the blonde shivered slightly, moving back an inch as to avoid the other from moving any closer.
“The // are you doing?” Sehun managed a grimace while his voice came out louder than he had perceived. “And no, I don’t even know your name.”
Honestly, Sehun couldn’t be more confused at this point.
@Oh Sehun Jongin found that changing the topic actually worked from time to time on the others, though he doubt he'd could push his luck any further than that after dodging on question already. He isn't sure what kind of reaction he's expecting out of him from his abrupt offer, but it's not one that is entirely appreciative.
He couldn't deny the fact he was caught off guard by the calm response, Jongin hiding his surprise by only smirking. He sighed, raising his eyebrows as he daringly patted the boy's head in gratitude. "Aren't you a bit of a mute." He conveniently left out 'you little ' because the last thing he needed is the boy walking out on him now.
He didn't know why he chose this time of day to become this massive jackass, though judging by the stoic expression he's been holding, Jongin deemed this as interesting. This one seemed...oddly different. Though that didn't change his intentions on this boy. Pestering him could let him release any anguish or frustration he'd been curdling for the past few years in Hogwarts. Despite showing hospitality, he already didn't like him. He was curious to see how long he'd outlast Jongin without deliberately cussing him out for his lewd actions, because Jongin, despite being blunt, actually sugarcoated quite a bit of his words. If he were to see something he utterly disliked, any comment really would make Slyherin lose all their house points in one day.
Though for no apparent reason, he was already drawn to his emotionless personality, wondering what truly lied beneath the face that was detached from any type of emotion. He never knew such cute Slytherins like this one were running around the school. Well, he'd sure get to know him better because the quietest ones were always the most interesting in his point of view.
Still holding up his audacious side, he moved in closer, sensing that the boy must have been extremely confused by this point. "I hope you know my name," he said in a breathy whisper after tilting his head to the side, lips ghosting against the shell of his ear. "Because I'll make you scream in sometime."
[IT'S FINE JESUS
but holy i didn't think i'd make him like this what have i done this isn't suppose to be like this]
[whilst writing this, I kept switching to present tense omg ignore all my mistakes im too tired to pick them out]
Despite being in the same house (and they probably in the same dormitory), Sehun struggled to place a name to the somewhat familiar but then also unfamiliar face.
The seconds of silent staring seemed to make the short distance between them grow. Then the silence had developed so greatly that Sehun was sure it would have made Pince proud--5000 for effort for staying quiet in a library.
However, this was broken by the slight change of the other's facial muscles and Sehun could tell that the latter seemed to be amused--and the amusement seemed to grow by the second.
Sehun stayed rooted to the spot, deadpan with no intentions of greeting the other and internally, he wished the boy would find no interest in him because then he would have to make unnecessary conversation and that's exactly one of the things Sehun came to the library to avoid.
But the other Slytherin began the walk towards Sehun anyways and the blonde boy curses silently
Oh Sehun wasn't one to socialise and the fact that the other had decided to intiate the call maked his skin crawl. Sehun gripped the charms book in his hand a little tighter until he felt the unevenness of the spine digging uncomfortably into the flesh of his palm.
He'd rather not say a word than end up feeling guilty because hurt someone in the process. Even if he tried, the words that left his mouth were always in a rude manner and because of that sullen trait, it had lead to many of his friends (or people whom he had even considered friends) leaving him behind.
As the latter grew closer, Sehun noted that the boy was practically then same height, seeing eye to eye but his skin was far more tan in comparison.
Because of that small difference the other had begun to rouse Sehun's interest.
"It's better to get to know the person before idly staring at them," the boy said with unprecedented confidence and Sehun felt his hand being brushed softly by the other's fingers.
Sehun looked down and the notable difference in colour became strikingly evident and for some reason he isn't used to it because he felt as if the boy had stepped out of a silly Muggle swimsuit commercial while he, himself seemed to have never seen the sun in his entire life.
So Sehun looked back to the other, racking his eyes along the length of the boy's robes.
"I suppose that's true," Sehun replied, nonchalant. His voice was gravely, a little hoarse from misuse.
@Oh Sehun In his backpack was several editions of books that untrained eyes were never to set eyes upon, but Jongin grew up reading these as bedtime stories. He remained in the area, leaning against the bookshelf and eagerly opening one of the dusty books, needing the comfort of the evils within because it had been so long since he's gotten to indulge himself in his favorite genre of literature. He read on, devouring every word eagerly as he slowly but surely became unaware of his surroundings. That was, until he got yet another dirty look from the hag in the corner.
Looks like he wasn't staying for long.
He sighed, closing his book and shoving it into his backpack before slinging it over his shoulder, briskly walking around the section to avoid the death glare of the old librarian, the Slytherin not in the mood to really leave since he did have a liking for literature and preferred hieroglyphics over acne-covered faces of adolescents. He wandered into the more quiet area of the library, eyeing one kid who came in, Jongin aware of his eyes lingering on him.
As accustomed as he was to silence, he couldn't help but be amused. He blinked, the boy remaining in his spot and Jongin growing increasingly delighted at this interesting new development, his gaze sliding over the boy's attire and back to the porcelain face.
Well, being the conceited obnoxious boy that he was, he'd be rude if he didn't acknowledge his presence, after all while he casually made his way closer. Teenage hormones and cockiness got the better of him as he took advantage of his lowered guard and approached him nonchalantly, slyly taking his chances and running his cold fingertips along the collar of his uniform, boldly staring into his opaque eyes. "It's better to get to know the person..." Jongin drawled, blinking his round eyes in mock innocence, "before idly staring at them." He smiled a secretive grin, finger tapping the back of the boy's hand in an open invitation.
