Practice Room

Hyukjae ran into the room dropping to the floor rolling all around it giggling to himself loudly. Once finished he got up running back out of the room.

@Cho Kyuhyun "Yes, Sir!" Donghae playfully saluted before flashing Kyuhyun another brilliant smile. He would have hugged the older boy out of thankfulness but he had a feeling the gesture wouldn't be appreciated. So, he held back. "Alright! Library after class. Got it." Donghae nodded back and took a sip of his apple juice before letting out a satisfied sigh. "I'm so full~"

Kyuhyun wasn't sure what to say now that he saw the desperate cute look on Donghae's face. "Okay, I'll help you, but you have to listen." He wouldn't mind helping this boy since he seemed to have found a soft spot for Donghae. Giving the Hufflepuff a small smile, he nodded for finality. "We'll meet up after classes in the library. Sound good?" He asked the other for confirmation.

"Neh!" Donghae nodded eagerly and beamed. The only people smarter than Kyuhyun would be the professors, and the Hufflepuff was far too intimidated by them to ask for help. Besides, the Slytherin liked studying. Helping someone study was almost the same, right? "Please?" Donghae widened his eyes innocently and pouted slightly, giving Kyuhyun the cutest look he could possibly muster. He really needed to pass those tests next week or he would be screwed.

Perhaps he had turned out to be a nerd, but he liked it. Reading let his imagination run free and it was the only thing that had really ever made him smile most of the time. "Fun... I never really had fun." He shrugged nonchalantly and studied the younger boy in front of him. A bubbly kid that was full of optimism and probably a bit thick in the head and stubborn, but there was one thing he was envious about Donghae and that was how the boy could show his emotions so freely, unlike him; how it was hard to smile in front of people. Kyuhyun just didn't want to risk that chance of letting his guard down. "Oh? You sure you want me to tutor you?" He was listening and usually he wouldn't bother thinking about tutoring, but Donghae could be an exception and Kyuhyun had realized, slowly, this boy was worming his way through the barriers he had put up around his heart.

@Cho Kyuhyun [ ouch. compared to changmin ; ; poor hae~ ]

"Eh, I consider that studying." Donghae made a face and then waved it away. "I meant like for fun! You can't honestly /like/ reading.." He blinked at Kyuhyun, expecting it to be some kind of joke before he caught sigh of the seriousness in his expression. "My god, you are such a nerd!" Donghae laughed, the comment clearly not meant to be insulting. He took another bit of food and appeared to be thinking over something. "I wish I had your interest in spells and such. Maybe then I wouldn't be the worse in my class." He confessed honestly. "Hey, can you tutor me?"

@Lee Donghae Kyuhyun ate his food slowly, almost nibbling it as he watched Donghae in amusement as he ate. It was kind of cute, but it also reminded him how Changmin used to eat when they were younger. Sighing, he perked up when the other addressed him. "Hm?" He raised an eyebrow at the curious Hufflepuff and chuckled a bit. "Hey, I don't do that /everyday/. I guess.. I like to read and practice new spells and charms." There honestly wasn't much that Kyuhyun did besides studying. He doesn't even understand why he's still trying so hard when his father is rotting away in prison.. not that he cares anymore. That man was like a stranger to him besides sharing the same blood. Glancing at Donghae, he wonders how someone can be so happy at the sight of food.

@Cho Kyuhyun Donghae didn't feel uncomfortable at all sitting at the Slytherin table. As their lunch appeared in front of them, the Hufflepuff grinned excitedly and pounced on the food, shoveling mouthfuls of delicious spaghetti into his mouth. "So, sunbaenim." Donghae said with a mouthful of food, chewing and swallowing before continuing. "What do you like to do besides sit and study all day?" He smiled somewhat teasing, a playful glint in his eyes.

@Lee Donghae Kyuhyun had to stifle a chuckle at Donghae's optimism, but it was actually rather cute. He sat down, the students' eyes widening slightly at seeing him smiling with a Hufflepuff, but he brushed them off without a second glance as food was finally served, the great hall becoming full of chatter and laughter of all students. This was probably one lunch in seven years that he had ever smiled this much. Usually he ditched meal time and eats in his room while studying just to avoid hateful glares directed at him.

@Cho Kyuhyun "I don't mind!" Donghae chirped happily and took Kyuhyun's arm again, pulling him across the room towards two empty seats. He sat down and bowed his head towards the girl sitting beside him, smile never wavering even as she studied him warily.

@Lee Donghae Taking one last glance at the Hufflepuff table and Donghae's friends, he shook his head. "I'm sorry... I think I'll prefer to sit at the Slytherin table." He smiled wryly at the younger, since he could see the suspicion in people's eyes. People avoided him anyway so... "If you don't mind that is." Kyuhyun nodded once.

@Cho Kyuhyun "Well, we could sit with my friends..." Donghae trailed off and bit his lip in thought. "But if you're more comfortable at a Slytherin table, that's fine with me too!" The younger boy nodded and gave Kyuhyun a confident grin. He didn't know anyone else in that house besides Kyuhyun, but he doubt they were really as bad as some people say. The taller boy had been tough to crack but Donghae could see that Kyuhyun was just like anyone else under that cold expression. "So?"

@Lee Donghae Kyuhyun was still slightly lost in thought but pushed them to the back of his head and looked down at Donghae. "Anywhere is fine." He nodded, glancing at the table of Hufflepuffs that were looking their way in which he assumed were the younger's friends. It wasn't uncomfortable, but he didn't know what they would think of him... when he start bothering with how people thought about him? They were all the same... maybe except the teachers and Donghae.

@Cho Kyuhyun Donghae practically skipped into the great hall, spirits lifted even though his professor had just scolded him this morning. He was two steps inside when the slight problem finally occured to him. "Um... Where do you want to sit?" He asked rather awkwardly, a slightly embarrassed smile on his face. Donghae caught sight of his usual group of friends sitting at a table and waved, laughing inwardly at their half-surprised, half-amused stares.

@Lee Donghae He caught a glimpse of a familiar face in the corner of his eye and indeed, it was Changmin, but he was walking away from him. Now that had caught him off guard until he felt the tug on his arm and turned back to Donghae, a small smile on his face. He missed having someone to talk to that wouldn't judge him just because he was a damn pureblood. "Yeah..." He took one last glance at Changmin's retreating figure before fully following the younger to the great hall.

@Cho Kyuhyun Donghae's head snapped up at the call of his name, eyes wandering around in search of the Slytherin. He had recognized the older's boy voice much too quickly that he would like to admit, and his heart lept in hope. 'Maybe he doesn't hate me after all?' Kyuhyun was soon beside him and the smaller boy looked up with a slight smile. "Hey, sunbaenim!" He greeted naturally, slowing down his pace a little. "Oh, it's okay. Don't worry about it." A huge wave of relief washed over him and he grinned widely at Kyuhyun's effort. "Lunch? Together?" The hufflepuff wasn't sure he heard him right. "Sure!" Donghae eye-smiled cutely and tugged at the Slytherin's arm, pulling him towards the Great Hall. The fact that they were from 2 different houses didn't seem to register in his mind at all.

@Lee Donghae It was easy to spot Donghae shuffling to the great hall for lunch as the hallways in this area seemed to be quite empty. Kyuhyun quickly jogged up to the younger Hufflepuff and called out to him. "Donghae." Finally reaching the other's side, he offered the other an apologetic smile. He was angry and irrational the last time he saw the boy so he thought he might as well apologize for being rude. "I'm sorry about last time. It's just that I got angry and I took out my annoyance on you." A sheepish smile on his face, but hey, Donghae actually meant well and he blew him off like he was some brat. "I didn't mean to take it out on you. If you want we could eat together for lunch today?" It's been so long since Kyuhyun had ever tried making a friend. Not after what Changmin did to him as the words his ex best friend had said to him seem to linger at the back of his mind.

@Shim Changmin Minhyuk could only shake his head at Changmin's lack of explanation. How could he blame the Head boy for being a pureblood? That poor guy had no control of how he was born. Heaving a heavy sigh, Minhyuk continued his way to to the great hall for lunch. Changmin will just have to deal with it.

@Lee Minhyuk (BTOB) "Let go of me." Changmin said in a dangerously low voice, glancing over at Minhyuk before he ripped his arm away from the other's grasp. He didn't show it, but the Hufflepuff's words had hit him like a brick. The weight on his chest suddenly doubled and Changmin found it almost suffocating. "You're wrong." He muttered, his voice almost a whisper. It was unconvincing even in his head but he had to say his excuses. "It's his fault. Why did he have to be a ing pureblood? And a Slytherin at that. If he was... then I wouldn't have..." He trailed off incoherently and shook his head, spinning around on his heel and slowly walking away. Why /was/ he so angry?

@Shim Changmin Minhyuk mumbled a quiet 'oof' as Changmin bumped into him, making him stumble slightly. "Aish." Before he could get a grip of what's happening, Changmin strolled passed him and Minhyuk could feel the anger rolling off of him in waves. This was not going to turn out well if he didn't stop him. Grabbing the Gryffindor by the arm, he stopped the other form approaching the two. "Changmin, why are you even this angry?" He glanced at the smiling face of the Slytherin which was actually quite a rare sight to see. The Head boy never smiled, not that he ever witnessed it at all. "He has the right to smile. You already made his life a living hell, is that not enough for you? From what I remember, you were the one that threw away your friendship with him. Not the other way around." Minhyuk may seem like a ditz, but he was observes with a keen eye. He was not protecting the Head boy from Changmin, but it was time that he knock some sense into the Gryffindor.

@Cho Kyuhyun Changmin accidentally bumped into Minhyuk when the other boy stopped walking in front of him, an annoyed scowl on his face. "Yah, what the hell are you looking at? Move." Changmin followed his gaze out of pure curiosity and froze, spotting the unmistakable form of his ex-bestfriend talking to a smaller boy. He paused, eyes narrowing a the sight. It was rare to find Kyuhyun chatting with someone comfortably, let alone a half-blood Puffle. What really caught him off guard, however, was Kyuhyun's smile. Him. Smiling. Impossible. 'What the hell?' His hands clentched involuntarily by his side as he glared daggers at the both of them. Changmin hadn't seen Kyuhyun smile since... 'since you ditched him.' Something clenched in his chest but he ignore it, stalking over to the pair before anyone could stop him.

@Shim Changmin Upon opening the door and walking a few steps before turning the corner, he was surprised to see the Head boy, also infamously known as Cho Kyuhyun, talking to a fellow Hufflepuff. 'Well, I didn't know that Donghae was friends with the Head boy.' He thought to himself as he watched them with interest at a distance, completely forgetting the fact that Changmin has been following him to the great hall.

@Lee Minhyuk (BTOB) Changmin merely rolled his eyes at the pathetic nickname. "Since when did you care about me?" He said careleesly, trying the spell one more time before giving up completely. He studied the wilted flowers he had created and stomped on them, grinding them down with his heel. Changmin was always hungry, and food certainly sounded good right now. Although he didn't want to spend one more second with Minhyuk, he quickly shoved his things back into his bag and followed the younger boy out.

@Shim Changmin Minhyuk scoffed and shook his head, turning the bunny back into his pencil. Well at least he got his fill of fun for today. His stomach growled lightly and that told him it was time for lunch already. How fast time flies when you're having fun. "Well then, Mr. Afraid-of-bunnies, it's lunch time. You might as well eat something to replenish your energy." Minhyuk chuckled at the name he gave the older, but nonetheless he was hungry. He packed his stuff into his bag and made his way to the door.

@Lee Minhyuk (BTOB) "Hell, it's not defenseless. The evil ball of fur is probably plotting to kill you this very minute and you wouldn't know a thing." Changmin eyed the rabbit warily before letting out a sigh. "I'm not /scared/, I just don't /like/ them. That's all." He threw a glare at Minhyuk before turning away to concentrate back on his spell. He had to master it before tomorrow o his professor would embarrass him in front of the whole class again. "If you aren't even doing anything productive, care to disappear?"

@Shim Changmin Minhyuk had to stifle another snicker as he managed to scare the older out with a cute rabbit. How could Changmin be afraid of cute animals? What was wrong with him? He mocked a face of shock and quickly withdrew the poor bunny back into his arms, stroking the soft white fluffy fur of the animal. "That's animal abuse! How can you do this to a poor defenceless animal, Changmin-hyung!" It was suppose to be an accusation, but his voice turned into more of a whine as he caressed the bunny gently. He must admit, Changmin was a lost cause when it came to dealing with small cute animals. "Aish, why are you so scared of them anyway? They won't hurt you, really."

@Lee Minhyuk (BTOB) Changmin let out a relieved breath, one he wasn't even aware he had been holding. He knew his fear of rodents was a little irrational, but he had been bitten when he was a small child and was scared of them ever since. Well, Changmin didn't like the word 'scared'. It was more like he avoided them for mutual benifit. He nearly yelped when the brown bundle of fur suddenly turned white. 'Just as bad.' He shuddered as the rabit perked up and looked around curiously. He took a hesitant step back when Minhyuk brought it to his face and scowled, looking away and willing himself not to run. "Lee Minhyuk. I'm warning you." Changmin raised his wand and pointed it at the rabbit. "Put it away, or I will."

@Shim Changmin Minhyuk couldn't help but burst into a fit of giggles at Changmin's terrified look on his face as the small squirrel had hopped off his head and sat in front of the Gryffindor. What a sight. Shim Changmin afraid of a tiny squirrel, is definitely something no one knows but Minhyuk. Wiping the tears away from the corner of his eyes, Minhyuk walked over and scooped up the small fuzzy rodent into his hands and patted its head. The squirrel was cute, but since Changmin didn't like it... he decided he might have some fun with this instead. "Aww, but it's so cute!" Minhyuk pouted and waved his wand over the squirrel and soon, it transformed into a snow white rabbit. "What about now? Cute right?" He held up to Changmin's face intentionally.
