@ᶜ˖⁺ jonghyun k。 There was a hand that just missed the drink, Dabin could see it now that he has messed up beyond repair. But against his brain, his instincts have him take a glimpse into the nearest future: was he about to get insulted? Slapped? Snobbed? He lost the habit of apologizing, of taking life as it comes and instead he remained frozen as he tried to get intuitions when he feels a tap to his shoulder, ousting him out of his stasis. Dabin's lost look met with the rightful owner of the cup he held and suddenly, he lets out the air his lungs had been holding for too long in a tired smile. "My bad... this is not my day, I swear." He tried to explain, worried the other would be mad at him.
This is the moment he ears his name being called by a barista, proudly delivering the strong coffee.
"I'm so sorry, I will order you another one, the coffee I ordered must be awful, I wouldn't advice it to anyone healthy, I apologize."
The distress he caused would give him a headache, but he grabbed the extra drink and made a small head sign to the counter. "If you don't mind waiting a little. What is it you'd like? I am bad at guessing drinks and the scribbles..." he mumbled, trying to read what was the name of the drink on the cup as he moved to the queue again.

@ᶜ˖⁺ dabin h。 Jonghyun stands in line to order, the boy slightly shivering despite his oversized hoodie. As time slowly passes, he finally orders. The gaze of the cashier seems too much like /his/ gaze for the male to be comfortable, so he ends up trembling more as he weakly points to an item. "Um.. that one." He says, as the barista gives him a weird look. Probably wondering about why he couldn't even just say his order out loud- Jonghyun tries to block out those thoughts. He pays, and his nimble body moves over to the counter's side and stands there, waiting for his drink. Out of the corner of his eye, Jonghyun notices another male coming towards the counter. Within seconds, the stranger arrives at the counter and a drink is placed down. Jonghyun reaches his arm out to grab it- only for this stranger to have already taken a sip out of it. The boy can read fragments of his own name on the cup, but he forgives the other male- his face just screams out how tired he is. Even then, he slowly taps the stranger's back. "Excuse me, but I think you took my drink.." Jonghyun says, his words trailing off as he looks at the other.

@ᶜ˖⁺ jonghyun k。 "Yes that. Moka../ccino/ thingee with three extra shots of coffee."
He did not lift his head to catch the concerned look of the batista, because obviously, no matter how much the staff rotated, Dabin kept coming every morning, his orders kept getting a bit more caffeine each day, the dark circles under his eyes kept getting darker and the polite smile he usually flashed without a thought was long gone.
He paid, rose his hand to reject the change and headed to collect his drink. Before a name was heard, he grabbed the first drink that was set on the counter and took a sip of it. Maybe he should have read the name on the cup, maybe he should have noticed someone was waiting before him, but tired was all he was for about five days in a row now. That and blinking from the taste of the drink he held and couldn't quite identify.

@ᶜ˖⁺ jason m。 “You seem off, are you okay?” I had to ask considering I couldn’t just ignore it, I sit down my eyes pulling away from you for but s moment. “I thought you would have forgotten about me,” I admitted lightly. Weak smile appearing in my features considering l how things ended so long ago “to be honest I’m actuall surprised you still wanted to talk to me,”

@ᶜ˖⁺ hyoyeon k。 Once we find a place to sit I pull a chair out for you, a smile etched onto my face but this time it’s a bit forced. “See I still remember,” I chuckle deeply before heading towards the counter to go order our drops and think a bit as I wait.

@ᶜ˖⁺ jason m。 I was waiting for you to finish what you were going to say only to be disappointed that you went on with the conversation, I was curious to what would have made your mood drop but I smile and nod my head “It’s the tea we had for the first time together.. I’m sold on it’s flavours always”

@ᶜ˖⁺ hyoyeon k。 “As it should be, my—“ I stop myself, face nearly falling after calling her her old nickname. I finally set you down on your feet, pulling away a bit so the both of us can get inside and get a good spot. I didn’t let the past bother me too much since this would technically be our first coffee date after years of not seeing each other, years after the... the breakup. “Let me guess, english rose?”

@ᶜ˖⁺ jason m。 “I’m always warm around you,” she unwraps her legs from his waist waiting to be set down on the floor but not quite finished with wrapping around his shoulders, “do you like tea?” She was curious as she hadn’t really recalled them going to a cafe together, she was more excited than what she wanted to admit so she kept it to her self for the time being.

@ᶜ˖⁺ sunyoung p。 /after a busy day as a waitress, i was happy as because i only had to do one more person whoever went to one of my tables. after making a heart by my arms at the boss since he said i can be done with my shift early, i quickly go over to one of my tables where the person was before i took out my notebook and pen. What would you like for today, ma'am?

@ᶜ˖⁺ noah s。 /i walk out of the locker room, wearing my casual outfit with a big coat on because it was indeed gonna be a chilly night tonight thanks to the weather channel. stretches my arms out since it was a long day for me before i darted my eyes at you. lets out a soft chuckle since you always just stood there behind the window admiring one of the delicious pastries. smiles just as wide as i walk out of the cafe to where you was standing. Hello there, would you like one of those delicious goodness? Which one you want?

@ᶜ˖⁺ brittany o。 /i stood blankly at a street corner, dark, heavy lidded brown eyes staring at the pavement with a glassy gaze. nothing registered around me as i just stared, being caught up in my own head until someone put a hand on my shoulder. looking at them, whatever they said wasn't audible, as there was a loud ringing present in my ears. despite it, i just nodded and turned, walking down the street with a shiver wracking my body. pausing, i looked in through the cafe window, only then realising how starving i had become. the pastries looked amazing, now finding myself stood just at the glass and staring at a piece of dark chocolate cake.

@ᶜ˖⁺ noah s。 /As soon as my shift was done for tonight and the last customer was gone, I start to scrub and clean each table in the cafe not because the boss said so but because they was all dirty and it annoyed the hell out of her. After finishing that in 15 minutes, I quickly go inside the locker room to change back to my casual clothes since I was wearing my uniform.

@ᵐ˖⁺ jimin p。 /it wasn't like rejection was foreign and to some degree, he had expected it/ you don't have to get like that /he stated in a gentle voice with a wholehearted smile/ it's fine. i just wanted a date--well i suppose a second one. this was kind of a mini date in way. i don't know how you can say it wouldn't work, but suppose you're the fortune teller/he assisted the other in wiping up the table till it the ember mess had been wiped clean/ if not a date, i hope we can still be friends.

@ᶜ˖⁺ yang y。 oh— oh, boy, /his heart seops, and his fingers pause in their press on the napkins that are slowly being soaked with the tea./ yang— that .. i’m flattered, but we .. barely know each other, and i don’t .. like you like .. that. it’s awfully sweet, but there’s— we just .. it wouldn’t work. /he whispers, grabbing another napkin in hopes to preoccupy himself now

@ᵐ˖⁺ jimin p。 /yang also began working on containing the spill, having completing lost this train of thought before swiftly regaining it upon hearing jimin's question. while this wasn't the idealized situation that he had desired, he nodded his head in affirmation/

@ᶜ˖⁺ yang y。 /‘know everything’ .. and then it dawns on him, and he’s starinf at yang with wide, uncertain eyes. he was already moving before the tea spilled, and now this —/ — /jimin curses, narrowly missing the tea,/ I— listen, Yang, i ... are you talking about .. me? /his voice squeaks out, pointing to himself as he dabs the liquid away

@ᵐ˖⁺ jimin p。 um jaehyung? blonde? glasses? um he's cute, but not the one i had in mind. /yang responded with a level tone before leaning into the other. resting his chin on top of his folded hands/ the person i want to talk to is way closer to you than all these people. they know everything about you. /he leveled his amaranthine irises with jimin's onyx orbs, but just as their spheres came into perfect aliment his forearm brushed the ivory cup, spilling the warm tea over the table/ --smooth yang--well done/he hissed at himself/

Jae..hyung— is it Jaehyung? /his expression has dropped a tad, and now he’s staring at Yang with curiousity, filled to the brim in his eyes, with other emotions left untold

@ᵐ˖⁺ jimin p。 /he personally thought the other would absolutely adorable with crumb all over his face, but he compiled to the other's simple request for a timeless tea. after paying the barista for the two cups, he began to stride back over the lovely blonde./ your tea. /he placed the cup before the male with a smile before noticing his pensive expression/ thinking about something?

@ᶜ˖⁺ yang y。 nah, i’m not that hungry. plus! if you’re gonna be asking me questions to help you with this guy, i don’t wanna stuff my face. /lets out an airy chuckle once again, meandering towards a table, only to sit at one by the window, looking out. mumbles to myself; / who the do i know that’s cute and charming ...
