@ᵐ˖⁺ jimin p。 Noticing the change within the dark onyxes of the man was not hard, not when her own held sharpness of their own. Innocence was a thing settled on her facial expression, managing to conceal away darkness in the simple smile she owned and offered to the people who walked in and out of her tea shop, given to her by her grandmother, the grandmother that was 'nice' enough to leave whispered warnings within her ears, about herself, warnings of what could be and what should be and how to contain the things that could not be contained. Perhaps the woman was a liar, or stupid- she was old after all and too stained by the worlds of magic, but again, she was the last thing Mina hold of the word 'care'.

His palm were warm, creating a tingling and welcoming sensation on the tips of her fingers, one holding a small bruise of a cut from earlier today where distracted mind somehow took over her- something thats been happening way too often. "I must consider myself lucky then, but thats only if i get anywhere tonight" maybe this was magic opening a new path of faith for her, but she simply followed. For once, she listened to that voice in the back of her head, engulfed by her strict logic that tried to prevent the very existence of magic and followed it through the dark alleys.

It was not like anyone could harm her, the only thing that could bring her pain was herself. It couldn't be worse.

The room she mindlessly followed him into was made of warmth, as if little sparkles of caring magic has stuffed itself in its corner. and then there was the endless feel of tranquility with something that held her on edge, creating a light fear that she might lose this calmness the moment she steps out. With not a second of hesitation, she simply followed his words, allowing herself to descend down on the soft pillow, fingers curling around the sides of her warm jacket to tug it off, gently put to the side before her gaze fell upon his palm once more. His hands were not that big- and honestly, it was cute, he was a whole package of cute if she were to take a closer look- and perhaps that was one of the most welcoming things about him.

"I guess I somehow do, after all, i stepped in here already" Her words were nothing above a whisper as her gaze fell down upon her own palms just to avert them up to him. "i trust you, just dont kill me, im too young for that "

She could feel it all around her, life on full display, as all her insecurities and concerns were lain before her. It would take time to overcome the obstacles holding her back but she was ready to take that next step. "Don't... Limit myself..." Her soft voice whispered as her gaze turned toward the cards, eyes set on the final object of her fate.

It was true, it felt like one after the other everything always find a way to go wrong but she didn't know how to stop it, how to make things better. Maybe she was just afraid of things only getting worse, or perhaps she couldn't see the truth behind her mistakes. She'd always been the biggest obstacle in her life and she wasn't sure if there was any way of getting around it - a change would have to come one way or the other.

But ..” He stops, situating himself better on his pillows, “you aren’t giving yourself time, and space, to reflect, to learn from your mistakes. You’ll keep tumbling over them, those mistakes ... An you could lose that momentum either way.” .. Judgement does seem fitting for this reading, “You’re too critical of yourself; you wont LET yourself learn ..”
