@✿ leeteuk p。 there was one reason why lalisa didn't want to go out in just a towel. it wasn't because of leeteuk, definitely not. it was cold, a little too much for her liking even though it was probably just 'a little' to others. she was 'slightly' more sensitive than others, and boy was she thin. that was one of the reasons why she loved cuddling a lot—not only was leeteuk so comforting, he was very, very warm. but of course, that was only best for winter. at summer, even if she wanted cuddles, it was hot, and then they'd be exchanging too much body heat from one another. she stepped back from the door as he pushed it even more open, standing on her toes for a quick moment, kissing him on the cheek and taking her clothes from his hand. "thanks! now shoo and let me get clothed," she said, tone playful, as she did a shooing motion at him. "or. . . did you want to take a shower too?"

@✿ lalisa m。 leeteuk wasn't even sure how much time had passed. after he'd put the carrots back in the fridge he buried his face back into his phone, deciding to take some of the down time to sift through old emails –– he had thousands. they really seemed to pile up faster than he could think about them, in the midst of all his contacts and subscriptions...but mostly amazon. lisa's voice caught him off guard, causing him to jump and drop his phone, a light bang resonating as it fell flat onto the counter. "ye–– give me one second, darling." leaving his phone where it collided with the marble of the kitchen counter, he popped around the corner, speed-walking up the loft stairs to where their half-unpacked bags lay. it was a little chilly outside, and since he didn't quite know what their plans were, he grabbed a pair of her jeans and a cute top, coincidentally one that he thought she looked the cutest in. he nearly tumbled down the stairs before he realized he forgot to grab underclothes for her as well. she definitely needed those. after grabbing what he needed, he shuffled to the bathroom door, voicing "here you go, baby," before pushing the bathroom door open and poking his head in.

@✿ leeteuk p。 lalisa tried to take a quick shower. she really did, but her short attention span was a problem of hers she had never been able to cure, unless she deemed it needed her full attention. but shower was /just/ a shower, and the cold water ran satisfyingly down her body, cooling her body temperature and almost immediately relaxing her figure. she had forgotten to bring her phone with her in the bathroom, which she almost never did, seeing as she liked to listen to music while she did anything, and she also liked to use it to keep track of how long she had taken. she still wasn't sure which record of hers she wanted to break first—her fastest shower or her longest one. but the water was too refreshing, she should have just used the tub, and maybe with him too.

it was only until she had wiped herself with her towel that she realized she didn't bring clothes with her. she panicked for a moment, before it completely disappeared and she opted to wrap the towel around her body instead of her hair. she opened the door just wide enough to peek her head outside, hiding her body behind it. "uh, leeteuk, baby?" she called out, tone a bit hesitant. "can you get me a set of clothes? i forgot to bring some with me."

@✿ lalisa m。 he flashed her a small smile, voicing a quick, "have fun," before saluting back with a chuckle. before heading into the kitchen, he spent a few minutes on his phone, checking for messages and emails just in case he had any last minute schedules pop up –– he was safe. he was glad he wasn't too busy during their time scheduled here, because he wanted to be able to focus all of his energy on spending time with his wife. with a content sigh, he went into the kitchen and opened the fridge and freezer, only to find that there wasn't much of anything other than ice cream and a bag of baby carrots. why hadn't they at least gotten apartments lightly stocked with food? "lame," he muttered as he pulled the unopened bag from the fridge, setting it on the counter. she deserved something much more /fun/ than carrots, especially after exercising. he crossed the room and rummaged through the cupboards until he found some paper plates and bowls, grabbing a bowl and setting it down so he could open the bag and pour a small amount of carrots into it.

@✿ leeteuk p。 she wouldn't deny how her heart skipped a beat at the endearment, despite being together for a relatively long time already. the corners of her lips moved up to show a smile, genuine, joyous at the fact that he was here. his mere presence could instantly light her day up—it had been pretty gloomy, not just the weather, but the overall aura of the apartment room once she had been left on her own. it wasn't something a lot of people knew, even leeteuk only knew vaguely of it (she believed), but her thoughts were getting too much at times, and dancing was her escape, her work doing a poor job at distracting her from reality. "hmm," she hummed, nodding at the other's question. "just a light snack would do." she couldn't remember if she had eaten a decent lunch, her mind preoccupied with all the robotic and fluid steps and moves of what she'd been dancing.

"alright! i shall go and disappear into the bathroom—i'll be back in 20 minutes!" she said, lifting her right hand to salute, before she ran off to the bathroom, not even realizing that she hadn't brought new clothes with her.

@✿ lalisa m。 he let his fingertips linger at her sides as she pulled away, a small smile playing at the corners of his lips. "i suppose i can allow that," he whispered in a playful tone, letting his hands slide away and fall to his sides. actually, he didn't really notice at all that she was sweaty — either he was too focused on how beautiful she was in any state, or he was really that blind and oblivious. "well i think you look stunning regardless. do you want me to make a snack or anything for you while you clean up, baby?"

@✿ leeteuk p。 the familiar warmth of his body spread over to her own, almost melting against his chest. as much as she'd love to stay in his arms right then and there, she just realized that she was sweaty - and god, she must have smelled bad. "how about me taking a shower first and /then/ we can continue this, hmm?" she said, falling back to stand on her heels rather than putting her weight on her toes, leaning away from him just a little bit. "i don't know about you, but i don't want to cuddle when i'm feeling sticky."

@✿ lalisa m。 his head snapped toward the couch upon hearing his darling wife stir, a bright grin spreading from ear to ear as he waited expectantly, arms stretched out. "i missed you too," he said simply, his arms hooking around the middle part of her torso. with a low hum, he arched his head down to once again close their slight height difference, lips slotting against hers in his own lingering welcome kiss. "we can do one of two things now: eat if you haven't yet, or do more of this and let you continue your nap with my company. what d'you say?" his lips lightly brushed against hers as he whispered against them, fingers lightly drumming along her back in soothing patterns.

@✿ leeteuk p。 lalisa was a light sleeper, but the type to fall asleep more easily than the others. her slender body was in the couch, legs folded as she laid on her side. dressed in an oversized shirt which may or may not be her husband's and a pair of short shorts, it was obvious that she had been dancing just an hour prior to this moment with the way she looked rather sweaty. she stirred at the voice that disturbed the silence their home had fallen into, and she groaned softly, stretching her legs before sitting up, running her eyes. she turned to look behind her, and delight filled her expression at the sight. "welcome home, darling! i missed you!" she said, almost jumping out of the couch, and she ran toward him, wrapping her arms around the other's torso, standing on her toes to peck his lips. "how was work?"

@✿ lalisa m。 leeteuk unlocked the front door to his and lisa's apartment, slowly pushing the door open and locking it behind him. it was odd being in a different, temporary home, but the more he came and went, the more comfortable he became. it was so quiet that he could probably hear a pin drop on the clean wood floor, the sound of the fabric of his socks brushing against the heels of his shoes resonating through the living room as he slipped them off. "babe? i'm back, finally," he called, a little surprised that lalisa hadn't already heard him enter.
