Sooyoung blinked a couple of times as she didn’t receive an answer from him, nonetheless she smiled at him and sighed. She wasn’t tired, for she would watch him drift off and take a nap as she got lost in her own thoughts while staring at the ceiling in complete silence.

Sooyoung wasn’t oblivious to the fact that something was wrong with their marriage, for she had felt that something was wrong for a while but she chose to ignore it. She didn’t want to tell herself that their marriage was too far gone to fix. She still loved Godfrey, she always did... though her pride and her sad past never allowed her to tell him aloud or sober at least that she loved him... simply because she didn’t know what it meant to love someone. He was the only person in her life who had ever truly loved her, at one point. Her own parents didn’t even love her, in fact they were afraid of her. Sooyoung looked over at Godfrey sadly as she took a deep breath, for these thoughts she was having she had never told him about... ever. She had never given him an explanation on why she had changed so drastically, though the reason was simply that her past had caught up with her after she had married him... the neglect she had felt so long ago as a child caught up with her and caused her to be clingy and unbearable around him because she was and still is afraid of being alone. She knew that her demeanor had changed because of her sudden remembering of her past, but she never told him about what was eating her up inside, she was too prideful for that... and as a result to cope with the pain she bought expensive things and got drunk often. As she laid there a sudden thought popped into her pretty little head, that if she pushed her strong pride out of the way and told him these things, there was a possibility that things might be better for them and he could even potentially help her fight her own personal demons. She looked over at him once more but with tears in her eyes this time and decided that she would finally open up to him after he finished his nap.

@✿ sooyoung p。 "I can try," the man murmured, face hiding in the softness of the pillow. It'd be a lie if he didn't think of death by self-suffocation via the pillow he was currently attempting to fall asleep on, the split of such comical thought making him groan audibly, annoyance resembling this entire trip here. He was a terrible, terrible human being. Minutes being alone felt like an eternity of guilt swallowing him up. It was almost as if he couldn’t live with himself any longer. The fact alone that his life had nearly fallen apart was no excuse for treating his wife like garbage. She was sweet, always had been, but on most occasions, she could be a tiger in a cage, drawing him in to his inevitable doom. Good or bad, it always came as a surprise to him.

Sooyoung, she was more than what met the eye, and it was one of the things that at first Godfrey had admired about her. Lately, however, something in her had changed. Ever since she had learned of his own fortune, her attitude towards the world was that of mere greed. She’d walk over others and act outright rude when it was uncalled for. Naturally, it would have set Godfrey off, but at the time, he was far too infatuated to say anything to her. It wasn’t long until he got the idea that Sooyoung’s lifestyle clashed with his own, causing a turmoil of events in their household. He didn’t care about the money, the cars; materialistic things meant nothing to him, but all the while all he could witness was Sooyoung nearly hyper-fixating on shopping for the trendiest, priciest things despite the fact that she needed none of it. She was a hoarder for brand-name objects, it was a fact.

Granted, it was part of her job to keep in touch with the latest trends, but he felt like it wasn’t the only thing up with her. Perhaps it was due to them living together for nearly half a year now, that Godfrey was beginning to note more of her unbearable habits. Perhaps she had been like this all her life, and he was just now finding that out. Regardless of which it was, there were times where he couldn’t even stand being next to her for longer than a minute. She was not the person who he had sought to have a life with, at least not anymore.

He watched her now, slightly perplexed. It amused him that when they’re alone, her entire persona could drift from inconsiderate, to outright soft and even whiny. He merely sighed again, choosing to ignore her comment this time around. Maybe she'd decide to let him sleep after all.

@✿ godfrey g。 “It’s really cute! You look tired... how about you take a nap while I go and take a shower.” She said with a smile on her face as she kissed his cheek and went to the bathroom. She sighed softly after she turned the shower on, the warm water hitting her bare skin. “Ah that feels amazing.” She muttered as she showered. She soon turned the water off and dried herself, her towel wrapping around her small body after drying off.

She stopped in front of the mirror and looked at herself, frowning. Sighing heavily she looked for her lotion and put some on her arms and legs before stepping out of the bathroom. Sooyoung looked for her pajamas and stepped into the closet to put them on. Even though they were married, she noticed that Godfrey had stopped taking an interest in her body. So, she thought it was best to not burden him with the sight of her body. She got dressed and emerged from the closet and sat down on the bed next to him. She didn’t know what to say to him these days, for he had been so distant and cold towards her. She grinned at him and took a deep breath. “The scenery on the way over here was nice.” Sooyoung commented as she looked up at the ceiling.

The firs thing Godfrey dully noticed once stepping through the door was that their new place was far much smaller than he'd expected it to be. What he believed to be their shared room was just a few feet away, followed by a small study area he was sure he'd never give a second glance to, except for the fact that it was smack center of the room for some unknown reason. It was an open concept, with a brand new kitchen on the far left, and a bathroom on the opposite side yet somehow he felt it wasn't enough space for him despite there being an upstairs and a downstairs area.

"It's fine," Was all the man managed to say after seconds of remaining silent since they'd arrived. He followed Sooyoung suit, lifting his luggage only to set it right next to the closet--he was far too exhausted to even consider putting anything where it belonged, just the trip alone having tired him out for the night. He merely watched Sooyoung, who on the other hand, seemed excited as ever as she went ahead and lied down, appreciating the softness of the blanket and the pile of pillows. Godfrey heaved out a brief sigh, for a split second hesitating before making his way onto the opposite side of the bed. He let his hand fall onto the smooth surface of the blanket and grunted in aknowlodgment of Sooyoung's previous statement, his eyes tiredly meeting her own, something of a small smile gracing his lips to show he wasn't all to annoyed that they were here in the first place.

Sooyoung looked around the place as she walked in with Godfrey. She hadn’t said anything yet, partly because she missed Joy but also because she was in unfamiliar surroundings. She rolled her rolling luggage behind her as she observed the place. She finally spoke, “It’s a bit small... but it looks cozy. Do you like it?” Sooyoung went to the bedroom to put her clothes away. She hoped that they could fix their marriage during the course of the show. She missed the man she once knew during the days of their honeymoon period. After she put her clothes away she sat on the bed and laid down on it. “Godfrey... the bed is so soft! It feels like a cloud.” Sooyoung said with a giggle and smile on her face as she looked over at him.
