Max was somewhat relieved to find his apartment empty, which just meant he wasn't about to walk in on a ually charged atmosphere. He tossed his keys on the counter and slumped down on the couch, sprawling out in the comfortable cool air (thank God, apparently the maintenance guy finally stopped by)and meditating on the day's events. He came to the conclusion that his life was kind of awesome right now, and he was a little giddy about it. He would probably talk Levi's (or Storm's or Coy's) ear off about it as soon as he got the chance.
@Levi Storm watched the exchange quietly. He didn't really have a say in it. But Levi's words made him snort. It could be taken in many different ways.
@Storm "That's because this guy is ing reckless, which is why he wins a surprising amount for a rookie," Max remarked. "And why people started talking as soon as he showed up."
@Levi "I didn't know you raced. It was kind of cool. I thought you would win,but it looks like you put up a good fight, not that I know anything about it." He sat down on the couch by Levi, fiddling with a stray string on his shirt. "It was a little scary too." He admitted. But he wouldn't admit he /worried/ about Levi.
@Storm "Yeah," Levi assured. "He wants me, despite the fact that i lost the race, because he can still see how good I am." He punctuated that with a drink.
@Levi Storm grabbed another drink as well. It wasn't that bad, just not his preference. Standing up, he followed Levi to the living room. Because, why the hell not? "Everything really go okay?" He asked, just to make sure.
@Levi Max scoffed and rolled his eyes before he grabbed the bottle from Storm and took a drink as well. "You guys have low standards," he remarked as he gave it back and shoved the glasses back into the cupboard.
@Max Storm didn't care. He went for the bottle next. (Indirect Kiss!) Taking a swig of the liquor, he hissed. It was strong. Making a face, an ugly one probably, he pushed it to Max.
@Levi Max let out an irritated sigh at the sight, unable to stop Levi from turning this into a totally unsanitary environment. He was still in we-have-company mode, and this was not how he was raised to behave with a guest over. "Really?" he whined, watching Levi take a swig and putting it down.
@Levi Storm had a stare down with the whiskey. He'd never tried it before. He wasn't a large fan of beer, but he had no idea what this was going to be like. He played it cool, a confident smile.
@Storm Max clapped as he stood, rubbing his hands together. "Let's do it!" He opened the cabinets and pulled out three mismatched glasses, then grabbed for the whiskey bottle.
@Levi Storm nodded. "I think this is as good a time as any." He stood up to throw away the empty pizza box. He couldn't stand to stare it at just littering the counter. (And it may have been in the way of his view of Levi).
@Levi Storm laughed. "I guess it wouldn't hurt to stay for a little while." He glanced at Levi, raising an eyebrow. They did have unfinished business. He wondered what he would do to make up for that. "Bring on the booze then. Let's celebrate."
@Storm "Not gonna celebrate with me?" He asked, tuning out everything else he'd said. Levi was in too good a mood right now to not do /something/ at least to celebrate.
@Levi "I don't know. He creeps me out. Like he has ulterior motives or something." Storm grumbled, begrudgingly watching Levi eat his pizza. He brushed dark hair out of his face and huffed. Levi probably didn't want him here after earlier, didn't want to stink up the place with pheromones or whatever. "I guess, I'm gonna head on."
@Levi "Hey that one was mine!" Storm protested. He had already ate his way through 3/4 of the pizza. The rest was breakfast tomorrow. He sat back with lips pursed in mock annoyance at Levi, then leaned forward in interest. He tried to not think about him in the shower a few hours ago to spare Max. "How did it go?"
Levi expected Max to be asleep when he walked in, but instead he was at the table. With Storm. Of course Storm was there. Levi should just start expecting to see him whenever he walked in a door.
He had a satisfied smirk on his face, but other than that he didn't offer much of a greeting to them aside from a raised eyebrow. He did backtrack past the pizza boxes though and snagged one of the pepperoni jalapeno slices, leaning against the counter to eat it.
@Storm "It's fine, I guess," Max mumbled into his pizza. "Try not to make a habit of creating awkward situations though." He shot Storm a grin so he knew he was kidding. Mostly.
I'm sorry but Sailor is leaving, I know I'm past my hiatus time and I hate to be so inactive. I had fun though, this is a great roleplay, I hope more people join!
