@♣ - wang yiboᵗʳᵃᶦⁿᵉᵉ "Mm, better," Zhan confirmed, holding the back of Yibo's head so he could deepen their kiss. He drew away with a pounding heart and sparkling eyes, both filled with an overwhelming rush of love for the younger. There was nothing more important to Zhan's life than being with the younger, and if that meant possibly giving up his career if fans reacted negatively, then so be it. "I love you, Yibo." Zhan sat up, grunting softly from the weight of Yibo on top of him. "But- my new management is based in China," Zhan revealed confidently, knowing the younger would not object to going home. "We're moving back, baby. Come on, let's start packing."

@☾ - xiao zhan {sean}ᵃᶜᵗᵒʳ Indeed, Zhan was the perfect man for Yibo. Without having to even say it himself, their plan had already been established. Yibo gave a firm nod of his head, then gasped softly at the amazing timing of Zhan also finding a new company who would value him for all the talent that he was. "Oh...Gege! That's amazing!" Yibo exclaimed, throwing his arms around Zhan, "Then it's settled! I'm terminating my contract too, and we can move somewhere even better than here!" Yibo laughed and pressed another kiss on his lover's lips, sighing in happiness. After so many years of endless training and not knowing when he could look forward to his ten seconds of fame, Yibo finally found the gratification that he needed. And he was sure that for Zhan, the spotlight would never leave Yibo.

@♣ - wang yiboᵗʳᵃᶦⁿᵉᵉ Zhan quieted at Yibo's confession, only reaching his hand to Yibo's soft cheek gently. Yibo couldn't be suggesting that, could he? Yet, the idea brought Zhan no grievance. "You want to quit," Zhan said plainly, holding Yibo's face tenderly. "Yibo, you're the person who's most important to me. I have something to tell you, too. My contract here expired. I signed with another who promised me at least 3 major projects in the first year, and that my relationship could be public."

@☾ - xiao zhan {sean}ᵃᶜᵗᵒʳ "Well...it's a proposal of sorts," Yibo admitted, though there was no hint of nervousness or unease in his voice. The more he was sitting right here with Zhan, on this very special day, the more Yibo became assured with his decision being the correct one. Yes, this was the path he wanted to take. "Gege. I decided that I just want to be your biggest fan now. I don't want fans of my own, and I don't want any reason to have to hide our relationship." Yibo started, his eyes twinkling as he got closer to expressing his big idea, "Does that make sense to you?"

@♣ - wang yiboᵗʳᵃᶦⁿᵉᵉ Leaning into Yibo's hand against his cheek, Zhan smiled, content. It had been a while, between work and the stress of /finding/ work, that he truly felt relaxed and happy. He lifted his head to give Yibo another chaste kiss. "I want to be with you forever, too. Is this a proposal?" Zhan teased, his eyes sparkling with mirth as he searched Yibo's. "Because I may have prepared one, too."

@☾ - xiao zhan {sean}ᵃᶜᵗᵒʳ "Yes, right now." Yibo said as he leaned in to receive Zhan's kiss. There was a light smile on his face, his body feeling relaxed and his mind no longer plagued by the stress. Yibo had been having some thoughts for a while now, and on top of the birthday that he intended to surprise his boyfriend with, he had more news for Zhan. "I just wanted to tell you...I want to be with you forever, Gege." he murmured against Zhan, stroking the older's cheek with his thumb, "So...I have a confession to make."

@♣ - wang yiboᵗʳᵃᶦⁿᵉᵉ "More intimate than a camera lens?" Zhan repeated softly in a hushed breath, sinking a little further down against the couch. He liked it like this - teasing Yibo and pretending he had no idea what the younger wanted. Letting his hand rest against Yibo's bottom, Zhan gave them a squeeze, enjoying the softness of the flesh that he d, before lifting his head to kiss Yibo chastely. "Hm. I wonder what that might be. In any case, I'm so excited. Are you going to give it to me now?"

@☾ - xiao zhan {sean}ᵃᶜᵗᵒʳ It felt like forever since Zhan held Yibo like this, and since they were in the comforts of their own home, Yibo had no qualms about sitting in this position complacently, nestled perfectly over his boyfriend. He purred as Zhan rubbed against him, pouting a little when the older guessed that the gift was new camera lens. Wasn't Yibo alraady sitting provocatively enough in front of him? Was this not a big enough message? Though it was helpful to know what his Gege wanted, so Yibo noted that gift in the back of his mind, and he continued, a little more suggestively this time, "Mmm...close...but not exactly..." he said, beginning to grind slowly on Zhan's lap, "Something...more intimate..."

@♣ - wang yiboᵗʳᵃᶦⁿᵉᵉ Zhan turned to lie on his back so Yibo could sit over his hips, his hands rubbing at Yibo's sides as he lifted himself slightly to kiss the younger. "You have something else? Lunch and a cake is already enough." Zhan let his head fall back down against the armrest of the couch, his thumbs rubbing circles over Yibo's hips. His pants were beginning to feel tight with the way Yibo's bottom pressed against his crotch when he sat and moved about, rubbing up against him. "Alright, let me guess. A new camera lens?"

@☾ - xiao zhan {sean}ᵃᶜᵗᵒʳ The moment they arrived home, Yibo finally felt that he could take a deep breath. He set the cake on the table carefully before hurrying to Zhan's side, removing his sweater, cap, and bag hastily. "Happy Birthday Gege!" he murmured again, slotting their lips together and kissing Zhan so fervently that he was gasping by the time he pulled away to take a breath. He grappled to hold onto his lover, smiling as he straddled Zhan's lap, "Gege, I'm so glad I can spend this day with you. You are my everything." He pressed another kiss to Zhan's nose. Settling ontop of his lover, Yibo giggled suggestively, "Guess what else I have in store for you, my love?"

@♣ - wang yiboᵗʳᵃᶦⁿᵉᵉ Though it had barely been half a day that Zhan worked, the moment they returned to his flat, he crashed onto the sofa, stretching with a groan. "What a perfect birthday," he commented happily, watching Yibo set his cake down on the coffee table. He reached an arm out to indicate that Yibo should come closer, pulling the younger down to connect their lips in a long awaited kiss. It was a little sloppy from Zhan's eagerness, his body half lifted off the couch, his hand that wasn't propping himself up grabbing for Yibo to come close. "You make me so happy, Yibo."

@☾ - xiao zhan {sean}ᵃᶜᵗᵒʳ Yibo got into the short line of the cafe, smiling excitedly as he pulled out the pick up receipt from his bag and held it tightly with both hands, as if he were a child about to exchange a brand new dollar bill for a new treat. He nodded his head, turning to reassure his boyfriend with a warm smile, "Of course I did Gege. There is no better day for me to take a day off, and no better use of my money. Of course you won't let me spend on most occasions either...so this is a wonderful opportunity for me to pamper you in return!" he said, then taking a step forward in line and ignoring Zhan in favor of exchanging the receipt for a medium sized box that was about the size of his bag. He carefully lifted it up by the handles and thanked the young girl behind the counters. He turned to share one more glance at Zhan, then heading outside again, ready to head home for the rest of their fun day together.

@♣ - wang yiboᵗʳᵃᶦⁿᵉᵉ They walked apart, not daring to stick so closely together. Zhan kept his eyes on the back of Yibo's head the entire time, wistful. For the two of them to pretend to not even be friends in the public eye hurt, but Zhan knew it wouldn't hurt as much as if they were exposed. He followed Yibo into a cafe, tipping his cap a little lower when he entered. "You got a cake for me?" he asked, since he had said a cupcake was fine the other day, but of course, Yibo had to go far. "For... for me? And you took your day off for me? I know you don't have a lot. Of days off, I mean. Yibo... did you really...?"

@☾ - xiao zhan {sean}ᵃᶜᵗᵒʳ "Mmm, mm next time Gege! But today is all me!" Yibo agreed eagerly, signing his name on the bill before he collected his cap and bag, sliding out of the booth to exit. "Next, I have a very special place I want to bring you to Gege." Yibo announced sheepishly. He didn't give any further details as they exited the restaurant. Keeping a few paces ahead of Zhan, Yibo ducked his head and walked, hoping the older would follow him without any issues. He turned a few corners and walked two blocks down before finally stopping in front of a pretty little cafe, inside decorated with the latest kpop artist debut posters and three flat screen tvs flashing with popular girl group MVs. "Gege, we have to pick up your cake!" he finally announced, smiling excitedly, "Then, let's go home to cut it together, okay?"

@♣ - wang yiboᵗʳᵃᶦⁿᵉᵉ Yibo was a bottomless pit, Zhan realized for the nth time when all their food had arrived and Yibo inhaled over a half of all the dishes easily (at Zhan's insistence, of course). Zhan was more careful, but he had a bit of everything. Truly, it was delicious, and because Yibo was so eager to make this day special for him, he didn't even fight to take a look at the bill. "Thank you Yibo," he said, obediently playing the role of a spoiled boyfriend. "It was so good. But next time, my treat, okay?" He flashed the younger a smile, his lips pulling back to reveal teeth. "Do you have to go back to work now?"

@☾ - xiao zhan {sean}ᵃᶜᵗᵒʳ Given how rare they could even make contact in public, the kiss on the lips made Yibo squeamish and he shyly pushed his boyfriend back into his seat. "Gege-!" he exclaimed, peering out past their booth just to make sure no one was coming by or snooping.

He watched expectantly as Zhan unwrapped his present, eyes shimmering when the older expressed how much he liked it. Yibo eagerly clasped his hands together, smiling proudly, "It's a one-of-a-kind Gege! Just like you!" He rose when the older beckoned again, and they shared their second public display of affection in one day.

The skewers were served in a steady fashion, one set after the other until Yibo and Zhan were clutching their stomachs from how filled up they were. "Hmmm...this place really is good." Yibo noted, sipping the last of his tea and raising his hand for the check, "Gege, did you like it? Can we come again next time? I really, really, really like the meat here." Yibo hummed happily. He made a big show of reaching into his pocket and pulling out his thin wallet. Flipping it open, Yibo took out the shiny blue card he brought out just for today's special occasion. He had waited so long to say these words, and this was the time of the year to finally say them. "My treat, Gege!"

@♣ - wang yiboᵗʳᵃᶦⁿᵉᵉ Zhan d Yibo's lip gently when his hand was kissed, withdrawing it before a waiter appeared. "If Yibo wants me to try everything, I'll try everything," Zhan said weakly when faced with having to eat one of each item on the vast menu. He pushed the thought of diet out of his mind as he accepted his gift from Yibo, reaching inside to rid Yibo of his antsy state as he waited for Zhan to see if he liked the gift. Zhan held the weighty bottle in his hand, turning it around when he felt an engraving on the other side of the bottle. A smile twitched the corners of his lips up subconsciously as he ran his fingers over the carving of two penguins. "I love it," he said quietly, brushing the tips of his fingers over their anniversary date. "Now I'll always have you with me wherever I go. Thank you, Yibo. Best birthday yet already." Beckoning for Yibo to meet him halfway across the table, Zhan stood out of his seat to kiss the younger gently.

@☾ - xiao zhan {sean}ᵃᶜᵗᵒʳ Yibo took Zhan's hands in his own, bringing them to his lips for a kiss before he started to go through the menu. "Mmm, I heard the beef skewers are the juiciest, so I definitely want to try them! And we should get lamb skewers, chicken, pork-" he said, running down the menu and deciding he wanted most of them. In fact, Yibo wanted to get one of every item here. "It's really hard to get reservations here, Gege." he reminded the older, "So its not a bad idea to try everything!" Thus, their menu talk was settled.

When the waiter came, Yibo literally said, "One of every item on the menu except for the eggplant and tofu skewer please."

While they waited on their food, Yibo reached into his Nike bag, pulling out a small gift for Zhan. It was a simple blue and grey colored bag, the top sealed off with some teal gift wrap paper. Yibo knew that filming meant Zhan always had to wear different costumes and couldn't have anything that appeared out of character, so he didn't bother with the typical gifts like watches, necklaces, or rings. He wanted Zhan to have something practical, but that he could also use on a daily basis and always be reminded of Yibo, "Gege, this is for you. Happy Birthday, I love you so much, you mean the entire world to me." Yibo professed, handing over the bag, "I hope...you like my gift." Inside was a green metal water bottle waiting for Zhan. It had three significant engravings on it: Zhan's birthday, the date they began dating, and a picture of two penguins hugging and obviously deeply in love.

@♣ - wang yiboᵗʳᵃᶦⁿᵉᵉ "I didn't want to keep you waiting," Zhan insisted, letting his shoulder brush against Yibo's as they headed into the restaurant. In the safety of a cozy, curtained booth, Zhan smiled back as he reached across the table to give Yibo's hand a squeeze. Though their date had only just begun, Zhan thought it was the sweetest gesture to take him out on his birthday already. "Thank you, Lao Wang," he said, rubbing his thumb over the back of Yibo's hand before retracting his own. His eyes dropped to the simple, elegant menu before him. "What a pretty place. Do you have any recommendations?"

@☾ - xiao zhan {sean}ᵃᶜᵗᵒʳ Yibo told Zhan their reservation was at 11:30 even though it was really at 12, since he knew Zhan always needed some extra time to excuse himself and arrive discreetly. Of course, in the pleasant case that Zhan arrived earlier, Yibo was hoping for them to do some window shopping together. Today was not the case, but at least Zhan came right in time. "Hi Gege, I didn't wait long" Yibo smiled when his lover came to a full stop. Even though it was risky, Yibo used a sleeve to dab at Zhan's sweaty forehead. "Look at you, you didn't have to rush." he hummed happily, then motioning for Zhan to follow him into the restaurant. Yibo had booked a private booth for them in the far corner, and it was great timing when they entered. The waitress brought them to their seats, and only when they were surely away from the crowd did Yibo take off his cap and greet Zhan with two rows of pearly whites, "Happy Birthday Gege!"

@♣ - wang yiboᵗʳᵃᶦⁿᵉᵉ Zhan was running late (again) but it wasn't his fault. Not entirely. He had dashed out the company doors when he realized the time, his bag flying up and slamming back down against the small of his back with each step when he ran. There was nothing to do on the metro but will for it to go faster, and when he arrived at his stop he was making a mad dash down the street again. He didn't stop until he saw Yibo, coming to a screeching halt before the younger. "Hi," he said through laboured pants, wiping at the sweat that had beaded at his temples. "I- I hope you weren't waiting long. Uh... traffic."

@☾ - xiao zhan {sean}ᵃᶜᵗᵒʳ The most important day of Yibo's year was here: Zhan's birthday. He had been planning for it meticulously, wanting to outdo himself compared to last year (though he believed the standards were set quite low already since he only took Zhan out for a movie and a stroll in the park last year). It was the one time in a blue moon that his loving boyfriend would allow Yibo to take his wallet out of his pocket when they went out on dates, and boy did he intend to splurge today. Yibo had booked Zhan's birthday in advance months ago, so now he was waiting for his boyfriend to meet him at the hottest skewer restaurant in town. Yibo sighed as he gazed up idly at the blue sky, a few pillowy clouds lessening the harsh rays of direct sunlight. Today's weather was perfect for everything Yibo planned, and lunch was only the start of it all.

@☾ - xiao zhan {sean}ᵃᶜᵗᵒʳ Yibo was eager to touch the pretty sea creatures on display in the aquarium, the rest of their aquarium date spent running around getting their hands wet and laughing when Zhan was a bit more rough than some of the animals would have liked. It seemed that the hours passed in the blink of an eye, and when they exited the aquarium again, the sky was a dusty orange color. "Thank you for taking me out on such a fun celebration date, Gege." Yibo answered sweetly, pulling out his subway card and getting ready to go home for a good night of rest, "I love you a lot."

@♣ - wang yiboᵗʳᵃᶦⁿᵉᵉ "I've been practicing," Zhan said cheekily, helping Yibo up from the stands. They spent the rest of their time at the aquarium looking for touch zones and having a grand time sticking their hands into tanks to touch sharks, rays, and shrimp. At one point, Zhan was convinced he accidentally broke a shrimp's antenna off, and they left quickly after that, laughing hysterically at the thought of the poor shrimp's feelers. "Had a fun day today," Zhan told the younger as they headed back towards the subway station. "Thanks for coming out, Yibo."

@☾ - xiao zhan {sean}ᵃᶜᵗᵒʳ Yibo grinned when his boyfriend , snaking an arm around the older's back and digging the knuckles of two fingers into the small of Zhan's back, "You can do a back flip, Zhanzhan?" he asked, "I'd love to see that!" Yibo cackled rambunctiously. As a dancer, he did flips for routines once in a blue moon, but to have his actor boyfriend do a backflip with Yibo on his back was much too amusing to only imagine. Laughing so hard until his gums were showing and his shoulder's shook, Yibo reaches into his pocket and handed over the map to Zhan, letting the older decide the rest of their gameplan for the visit.

@♣ - wang yiboᵗʳᵃᶦⁿᵉᵉ Zhan was excited with the dolphins, but no one's enthusiasm could beat Yibo's. His arm took abuse from Yibo jumping up and down in his seat, his arm waving around when he tried to point. "You want a ride like that?" Zhan repeated, his grin widening as he thought of a teasing remark back for Yibo. "You want me to backflip you off my back, too?" The show was almost too quick to end, but it did, and people began to make their unexplained, mad rush for the exit. Zhan stayed seated, holding Yibo by the arm so they could wait for most of the audience to clear out first. "What do we have left to see? Show me the map."

@☾ - xiao zhan {sean}ᵃᶜᵗᵒʳ "Mmm, I know Zhanzhan. I wouldn't leave you either," Yibo said after a while, straightening up again with the help of his boyfriend's reassurance. The same excited grin reappeared on his face as four dolphins made their way onto the main stage, even hopping on the platform to show off their smooth and long looking bodies. Yibo pressed closer to Zhan when he got excited, tugging at the other's arm to point to a dolphin that was taking its trainer on a swim around the entire circumference of the pool before throwing her back and doing a backflip. "I like that one!" he exclaimed, then leaning over to whisper to Zhan giddily, "Zhan-ge, I want a piggy back ride like that when we go home!"

@♣ - wang yiboᵗʳᵃᶦⁿᵉᵉ Zhan stopped his teasing momentarily to consider Yibo's words, his expression softening at the younger's logic. Most ridiculously, the way he related to a dolphin was a little weird, but it didn't stop Zhan's heart from clenching painfully at the thought of leaving Yibo, or Yibo leaving him. "Don't be silly," he finally said as the music in the theatre began to swell, signalling the start of the show. "Don't say things like that. I'll never leave you." For a brief moment, before anyone else could see, Zhan swiped his hand over Yibo's, resting over it for a split second before retracting it. "Look, your favourite dolphin show is about to begin."

@☾ - xiao zhan {sean}ᵃᶜᵗᵒʳ "But she was in love with him too right? Sometimes you just can't help doing things out of love," Yibo reasoned with his boyfriend, who sometimes became practical in the wrong times. "What if you didn't date me? And you didn't encourage me to be with you through that relentless pursuing of yours?" he asked, "Then I'd still just be an insignificant fanboy watching you through the screens..." He sighed again and turned his attention back to the dolphins, "I understand where the dolphin is coming from. Even if it meant knowing you'd leave me, I'd still choose to have our relationship the way we do now and enjoy it in the time that it lasts."

@♣ - wang yiboᵗʳᵃᶦⁿᵉᵉ Zhan had to hold back a snicker at Yibo's reaction. "Why? Silly. If you ask me, that woman probably shouldn't have been engaging in activities with a dolphin. She encouraged him, she lead the dolphin on, and then she left him. If she hadn't done that from the beginning, he wouldn't have ended up doing that," he said in a matter of fact way. When he saw that Yibo could not be so easily cheered, he rubbed at the small of Yibo's back, paying more attention to the younger than the show that was beginning. "Why do you still look like that, hm?"
