"It's because you're a really good person. Animals can tell things like that quite easily." Baekhyun said while still reading the menu. "They know you won't say or do anything to harm them in any way. That helps them feel comfortable around you." Looking up he said "I think I'll have a coffee and a small breakfast. Are you feeling okay to eat? Or do you only want the Oreo milkshake? This is my treat by the way, so don't worry about prices."
@christopher b。ᵐᵒᵒⁿˢʰⁱⁿᵉ "Yes." He answered honestly, though his voice was barely above a whisper.
Upon hearing an airy laugh, Baekhyun looked up from the menu he was reading. What he saw made him smile. "I think they like you." He said, reaching out to pet one of the cats. After the cat let him pet it, he helped it up onto Christopher's lap. "There you go, little one." This caused the other cat to meow at him, as if complaining that it wasn't first. The Imugi chuckles softly as he repeated his actions with the second cat, only for it to start purring loudly once settled half on, half beside the other cat on the human's lap. "They definitely like you." With a smile on his face he returned his gaze to the menu.
@christopher b。ᵐᵒᵒⁿˢʰⁱⁿᵉ Baekhyun's smile widened at the offer to wait longer. "Thank you, Calico. I think I'll be okay though. Just gotta remember that it's safe to change forms here." He looked the other in the eyes when he added, "Also gotta remember that it's you, not just some random human."
When they walked inside they were greeted by a member of staff almost immediately and brought to a booth for two and given menus. There were a few different animals around the café. From where Baekhyun sat he could see three cats, one rabbit and a small bird, but there were more.
"This is my first time coming to one of these." He mentioned as he read the menu.
@christopher b。ᵐᵒᵒⁿˢʰⁱⁿᵉ A gentle shake followed by the sound of a familiar voice broke him from his thoughts. "Yea, sorry. Was just thinking about later." He admitted, knowing the other already knew he was a little nervous about it cause he had mentioned it when they were texting throughout the night.
With a small smile to show he really was okay, he said "Let's go eat and see all the animals. I'm sure they'd love to meet you."
@christopher b。ᵐᵒᵒⁿˢʰⁱⁿᵉ Pet cafés. A wonderful thing that started appearing just before the millennium. Although Baekhyun loved the idea, and had past many, he had never actually gone to one.
This particular day he had plans of meet Christopher at the local pet café. They had decided to go there for breakfast as they were spending the day together. He was both excited and nervous about spending the day with his friend. Although they didn't have the whole day planned, they did have a trip to the lake planned for later in the day. Baekhyun was going to show he true form and that was why he was kind of nervous.
His mind was off thinking about how the other could possibly react to his true form later in the day that he wasn't really paying attention to what was going on around him while he waited outside the café.
@dahyun p。ᵗʰᵉˡᵘⁿᵃ Hyunjin managed to finally empty his mouth enough to be able to speak properly. "Come on," he almost whined as his eyes closed, head shaking in disbelief as he leaned against his elbow, the other hand going to scratch the hoard of animals on his lap. "You're not dumb, like, at all. I used to roll a whole pizza into a roll because I didn't know they actually cut it up into triangles. Is that dumb? No," he said with confidence, trying to get through to Dahyun. "It's learning by experimenting," he came to a conclusion with a firm nod of his head. "And... I don't think so. You can use this as a 'seriousness' measurement. Whoever gets frightened is not the right for you. I'd say the one that cuts it up before you even start to eat is the right one," Hyunjin said, pointing a finger vaguely to support his claim. He read a lot of romantic novels and stories, and he had a vivid imagination, which was the reason behind such an idea. He smiled widely as he saw Dahyun do everything to keep the corgi from leaving her feet.
@hyunjin h。ˢᵃᵘᶜʸᴶ she furrowed her eyebrows together at hyunjin's reaction and puffed out her cheeks if it was laughter for him, it would be frustration for her. not wanting to continue eating due to the prolonged laughter the male had emitted, she pouted even more in such an adorable way, wondering if what she had done warranted such a response. "Whyyyyyy?", she dragged the last letter of her word, her shoulders slumped and her chin slightly tilting upwards with her round eyes eventually getting bigger as if to demand such an answer to her question. once he had calmed down and explained that she could actually split it into two halves instead of what she had done earlier, she facepalmed herself with the other free hand. "I swear sometimes I'm so dumb. if this is how I am during an actual date with a potential partner, I'd be sure to be a single old hag. He would be so frightened off by my idiocy." despite that her bread barely had anything on it except for a few pieces of leaves aka the lettuce and some smoked salmon, she continued to eat and savor the meal, nodding in response. Gesturing to her feet under the table and to herself, she pretended to play dead as if to say her legs were starting to feel detached from her and her tongue sticking out a corner of her lips after finishing her chewing process and swallowing her food.
@dahyun p。ᵗʰᵉˡᵘⁿᵃ Hyunjin made a mental note of not mentioning the species Dahyun was. He spoke a lot, non-stop even, but he didn't really talk about things of value. Therefore, secrets if others, not even his, would come to the surface that easily. It was yet again a trait his father taught him. Before he met him, Hyunjin had no problem blabbering out the most embarrassing or troublesome secrets just to entertain himself, cause fights, breakups, full blown riots and wars among villagers with him sitting at the side, clapping and enjoying himself. If back then people knew what popcorn was, he would definitely have a bucket of that while watching. Hyunjin waved his hand no as he tried to chew on the mouthful enough to be able to speak again. The hand gesture, however, was to answer Dahyun's question about how she was supposed to manage it. It was an answer not to do it. He wasn't able to reply in the longest moment, watching instead what was the girl doing. His eyebrows knitted as he watched her push on the sandwich with her whole body weight as she raised from her seat. That was the trigger. Hyunjin almost burst out laughing. He jerked in his seat, cheeks puffed out thanks to the food in his mouth, eyes smiling and twinkling with tears from laughter that had to be held in if he didn't want to make a mess. Hyunjin's hand came to clasp over his mouth to prevent any catastrophe from happening. When he calmed down the slightest bit, swallowed what could have been swallowed, still covering his mouth with his hand, he said: "You can make it into two halves," he said, his voice obstructed. He looked down at the sandwich on Dahyun's plate, wiggling the finger of his unoccupied hand at it. His eyes shot open as he was beckoned to look under the table and without hesitation ducked his head down to see the sweetest display. He wanted to exclaim in awe, but instead hummed excitedly. He looked back at Dahyun with happy eyes.
@hyunjin h。ˢᵃᵘᶜʸᴶ her face fell upon hearing that he had already made that promise to someone else yet at the same time, she was asking herself why she should felt that way when she was not close to the male yet enough to make such a promise. letting out a huff, she grimaced and wrinkled her nose at the other before sticking her tongue out in annoyance. even smacking the knuckles of his fist gently, she moved her hand away and then continued to try to attempt eating the sandwich. "Yes, please. I don't want people to hunt me down to get the tail for good luck." she gasped at the imp's ability to take a whole mouthful, a literal mouthful of the sandwich and looked down at her own which its edge only got bitten off, not even getting to the good part yet. "Oh god- that is amazeballs, your eating skill. How on earth am I supposed to manage it?" with such determination to eat it somehow, she raised her bum off the seat and used her right palm with her left hand pressing down from the top to give pressure against the sandwich to flatten it more. Instead the ingredients spilled out like some slaughtered animals' guts spilling out after being slashed in the stomach. "Oh golly..", she admitted defeat, plopping her bum back down and started to eat the sandwich even without the spilled ingredients, taking a huge bite with all that her jaw could accommodate and chewed after. "Mhm! it's delicious!" she hummed in approval, covering with her hand while chewing out of courtesy for the male. "So so good! Mhm!" she looked down under the table to see a corgi resting atop her feet and even gestured to hyunjin to take a look under.
@dahyun p。ᵗʰᵉˡᵘⁿᵃ "Hey, I already made that promise to someone," Hyunjin frowned for a second before a smile appeared on his face. "It's my own choice, for the greater good or something like that. So I would rather not get myself indebted with a nine-tailed fox," he grinned teasingly, his pinky retrieving into a closed fist. "Oh you are," Hyunjin nodded as he let the newly acquired information settle in his brain. "Do you... do you want to keep it a secret? I won't tell a soul," Hyunjin promised, his eyes suddenly very calm and genuine. He knew such an information should be guarded well and he wasn't going to cause trouble for the girl. Hyunjin nodded again, feeling victorious without much effort, although his competitiveness was hurt for the most part because the challenge was not accepted. He looked at the sandwich, thick and tall, and took into both hands before taking a real mouthful of it. Thank god his wishful body was equipped with the biggest mouth not only for jokes but for eating as well. He tried to eat like a decent person, since he was in the presence of a lady after all, putting a hand over his very full mouth once he started chewing, his cheeks puffed out.
@hyunjin h。ˢᵃᵘᶜʸᴶ "Promising or making a deal about not making any wishes any more unless you're needed to." she rephrased the wording of their promise making and wanted the other to make sure he truly understand the content. For breaking a fox's deal, consequences could be dire yet for something as simple as theirs, the consequence wasn't heavy. She forgot that nobody actually knew what she was and yet there it was, out for the young male to know. "Uh oh—", she let out a long, tired sigh and nodded slowly. "Yeah, that's what I am." Prodding her tongue at the inner cheek of hers, she sighed even more and wondered if she would take him up on the challenge. "Duh, you will win for sure. I don't think I can't do it. I'm a small biter. You win, you win." She waved her hand around to gesture that she would give in and reached out for the sandwich, biting off the edge first, humming in approval after even though it was just bread she ate.
@dahyun p。ᵗʰᵉˡᵘⁿᵃ "What am I promising? Or making a deal about?" Hyunjin's eyes slightly narrowed in light confusion. He had already promised to reduce wishes to the minimum to someone. He wasn't sure if he was promising that or somethig else, since if it was the same, it wouldn't make much difference. Either way, he held up a pinky, parallel to Dahyun's but not linking it yet, since the revelation of her being a nine-tailed fox struck him, freezing him in spot. "You're a what?" He gasped in order to sound less shocked and less loud.
"So?" Hyunjin glanced at their food and shrugged. "But yeah, okay, it would be unfair. It's a obvious case, I'd win," Hyunjin said proudly and looked at what was Dahyun doing with the stack, smiling in amusement.
@hyunjin h。ˢᵃᵘᶜʸᴶ She then reached out her right clenched fist with her pinky finger poking out and gestured to the male to do the same. "Let's make a promise here. Or rather a deal. You know better than to make a deal with a nine-tailed fox. But I promise it's a gentle, friendly one that would not warrant your death," she teased with a soft chuckle. "Uhm, definitely not. You won't because i'd be there to resurrect you." Watching on as their food got placed on the table in front of them, she gulped nervously, shifting to look here and there to wonder how she would even finish this whole stack by herself. "Race? With what? This??? Goodness gracious, have you seen how huge this is? I will die," she whined and her hand already reaching out to press the stack down to somehow make it easier to bite.
@dahyun p。ᵗʰᵉˡᵘⁿᵃ "My wishes. I don't really do wishes for others anymore. Only when I want to. And I don't have to take the break, I just promised I will try," Hyunjin shrugged, opening his arms wide to envelope the whole crowd gathered on his lap, before leaning his elbows against the edge of the table, hands clasping around the coffee. His face was once again occupied with the widest smile with the slightest hint of embarrassment for being caught acting like a weirdo, piling pets in his lap. "Can I die by being stomped on too many cute animals?" he asked as he took a sip of the coffee, eyes opened wide, quizzical, almost too serious at that question. He moved the coffee to the side as he spotted in his peripheral how the server was approaching. He swallowed harshly as he saw the mountain and blinked. Suddenly he smirked upon hearing Dahyun's words, especially the 'I'm scared' part. "Wanna race?" he asked, pulling the plate slightly closer to the edge of the table, his forearms crossing at the edge, creating a functional barrier between the plate and the animals on his lap.
@hyunjin h。ˢᵃᵘᶜʸᴶ she let out a soft sigh upon understanding why the male has been so odd on the app recently. knowing it almost instantly the moment he responded back on the app without any presence of text emoticons he used, something must have been up. "Why do you have to take a break from wishes? Are those your own or others'? I'm sorry to be intrusive but I need to understand the ways of the imps. Not much I have learnt about your kind other than that talismans are one way to defend selves." dahyun just wondered why too at his mention and closed back her arms the same way she opened them and shrugged, giving the other a confused, unknowing look. "No idea either. I'm not sure if i would welcome or detest that wave of teasing to come." She craned her neck to see just how many animals he had already piled on his lap and let out a small sigh. "Hun, they're not blocks to be stacked high. if ever needing to be surrounded by them, you can always sit on the floor and let them naturally come to you and you got yourself a mountain of furries. Where's the food? I'm starving...", she said out loud. speaking of the devil, the same server came out with two plates of something that resembled a mountain each. "I'm not sure if that is what we ordered but boy, that is a quite a mouthful. I'm scared."
@dahyun p。ᵗʰᵉˡᵘⁿᵃ Hyunijn's mouth cracked into a half grin as he saw Dahyun have a giggling fit, his stomach tightening pleasantly in satisfaction for making her laugh. The next worry however made him go slightly more serious. "I wouldn't wish for it. If anything, I'd let it happen naturally. I promised to take a break from wishes, you know? That's why I've been... odd I guess, lately," Hyunjin twisted his lips in a pout around, thinking about it for a moment. Yes, it was correct. He was experiencing far more of the 'human conditions' without using wishes to his advantage. Or it could be a whole different reason, and his wished-for body was giving in. "No, I haven't, sorry," Hyunjin screwed an apologetic face, shaking his head at Dahyun. "No? Then why are you opening your arms like you're welcoming my teasing?" Hyunjin asked with the very prickly tone in his voice, pointing a slender finger towards Dahyun's wide spread arms. "Hm?" Hyunjin whipped his head up, his attention suddenly caught by the girl's warning about not letting the animals get near the coffee, his eyes wide as if he was just caught doing something illegal. After all, he was already picking up the third animal from the floor, stacking them all onto his lap. That was definitely not the way to not allow one of them at least climbing on the table unattended. "Oh," he nodded and looked apologetically at the rest of the fluffy four-legged beings around his feet still on the ground as if he was breaking a promise of giving them all the same amount of attention.
@hyunjin h。ˢᵃᵘᶜʸᴶ She burst out giggling at his funny antic and facepalmed herself at how hilarious he was really. Boy, she should have met him way earlier so her bad days could be so much better if she invited him out for outings like this. "I am not very sure whether I'm convinced on you not wishing for it. Because i got a hunch you actually wanted to experience one. Have you experienced a migraine, just asking for someone?" her eyes narrowed into almost a slit, as if to stare deep into the abyss of his soul to figure out his true intentions. "Oh yeah, that sounds more like a present rather than a bunch of petty revenge. Uh- don't get tempted to tease and annoy me, ever. at all. nada. nope. Nope." The female spread her arms wide open and hummed softly. "Enjoy the newfound attention of these furry angels, Hyunjin. Once you go there, you can't turn back again. Who said you can't? We have all day!", she answered by picking up a rather scruffy pup that gave its an unique appearance due to its breed. Next, she placed it on her lap and started to rub her hand down its spine as if to give a massage, humming softly. The server came by their table with their drinks and dahyun pushed the iced coffee to the other. "Make sure no animal come near. It will be a disaster if you spill, trust me."
@dahyun p。ᵗʰᵉˡᵘⁿᵃ "Yeah, right, mhm, as if anybody could tell at first glance," Hyunjin cleared his throat dramatically at the beginning keeping a closed fist in front of his mouth before he rolled his eyes gently to the side. "I won't wish for it," Hyunjin took it quite literally, since it was something he could do. But hew wouldn't. He wasn't using wishes for a while now, months maybe. "I won't mind that revenge," Hyunjin in his lips to hide the taunting grin that was threatening to be used against Dahyun, exactly to annoy her. "It just gives me a more persistent urge to tease and annoy you" Hyunjin suddenly looked at the cat in his lap, before he looked around the other pets pooling around his ankles. "Oh my dear lord," he suddenly realized that the cat wasn't the only available animal and he literally started trembling. He looked at Dahyun with huge eyes his lips in an amazed wide grin. "I can't cuddle them all, can I?" he asked already reaching for another little puppy, placing it on his lap, right next to the furry cat.
@hyunjin h。ˢᵃᵘᶜʸᴶ she stuck her tongue at the other in response and crossed her eyes to further tease the blonde male, letting out a silly laughter right after. "Yes, good food do make for good hair, skin and nails. it is why we should take care of what we consume but hey! I'm guilty of having some junk food myself," she admitted. Once the order was placed and paid for, she returned back to the table, not without trying not to step on any of the approaching pups and felines that needed some attention or treats in which she didn't have the latter. With her back on her seat, she bent over to the side to tickle one of the black pups under its chin. "Yeah, it's gone and I am never wanting to experience that ever again. Not a pleasant feeling, Hyunjin. Don't wish for it." She pointed at the other, putting it as a matter of fact and sat back properly again, listening to his words carefully. "By default, it's okay. I'm sure we are all wired the way we are and we can't change it. I mean, even if you annoy me to the max, i will just send kittens and puppies your way as revenge. Hang on, that doesn't seem like a revenge. It sounds more like paradise ,eh?" Noting how it was still the same cat on his lap despite so many various types and breeds, she wondered if he had taken a liking to it. "Do you specifically like that cat at first sight or...?"
@dahyun p。ᵗʰᵉˡᵘⁿᵃ "You lied," Hyunjin playfully accused the other for putting it down to saliva, jutting his chin out and pouting, before the corners of his lips give in and curve into a smile. "Food, huh? Good food makes your fur nice?" Hyunjin addressed the cat as he continued playing with its thick fur. "No wonder my 'fur' is like this. I eat junk," the imp snorted and looked up from the cat at the girl. "At least it's gone now, right?" The migraine had intrigued Hyunjin since he had never experienced it and the description of it, the one he read and the one he heard now, made him want to experience it. A grin of sheer mischief stretched on the imp's face as he was accused of revealing her secrets, he understood it was not so, but he still felt almost accomplished. He didn't want to reveal more details about the way he was 'born'. He was not created as in mechanically put together. It was dark magic, demonic, and he didn't like it. "I annoy people by default. I can't help it really," Hyunjin said, rocking in his seat slightly with the cat in his embrace. He watched as Dahyun took the initiative to go and order, an appreciative smile coming onto his features. "Uhm," he nodded slightly an affirmative as he was offered to play with the animals more. He wasn't aware of the payment, if he was, he would argue about it for sure. But for once, he was preoccupied by the most hairy cat he had ever seen, hugging it, scratching its head and rocking it in his arms as if it was a baby.
@hyunjin h。ˢᵃᵘᶜʸᴶ she let out another burst of giggles at how he was grimacing at her answer to his question about the cat's use of hair products, in which the cat didn't actually told her but of her own making. No one really thought of cats keeping their hair so clean and silky was due to their saliva. "I was kidding. The cat did not said so. I did. Actually the secret behind their soft, silky hair was not because of saliva. It was what they eat. This pet cafe sure feed their residents pretty premium food." she explained with another mischievous grin on her face, actually meaning every word of her explaination. "Ah-", she let out a huff of exclamation and nodded, giving the other a thumb up. "I'm good. The migraine was gone after a good sleep which was supposed to be a nap in first place. Thank you, dearie for asking. They can be bad and it could be quite painful for the person suffering from it. But luckily it wasn't a chronic migraine. So it went away pretty quick." Waving her hand around to dismiss the fact that she was professionally cheating, she let out a silly choke on her own air as she was about to speak and quickly cleared her airway by thumping her chest hard. "Oh it is not. I couldn't think of any strength of mine to turn into a job to earn a living. Hush, boy. Don't reveal my secret or you shall find yourself covered in talismans one day. Good question.. I don't think imps are born. From what I know, they are usually created out of something... It varies from culture to culture, I think. But it's okay, you annoy people for the good fun of it, right? It is anything but admirable, I have to say." She got up from her seat to head over to the counter to place their orders. "Have fun playing with the furries while i put our orders down.* The leggy brunette nodded at the surrounding pets and walked over to the said counter, repeating the orders and paid for it out of her own pocket.
@dahyun p。ᵗʰᵉˡᵘⁿᵃ "Saliva," Hyunjin echoed the answer that came from the lady, making sure to give the at a slight look of disbelief. Hyunjin shook his head slightly his usual tight-lipped grimace that showed his dimples coming in place as he looked at Dahyun browsing the menu. "Hm, I think I'll have an ice coffee. To wake me up properly," he chuckled. "Is your migraine gone, though?" The memory of their previous interactions on the app came to his mind as he slightly leaned closer to the table. "I don't know much about it, but I heard they are pretty bad." When the revelation about the basis of her telepathic connection with animals made him let out a nice of marvel. "So it's like professional cheating," Hyunjin chuckled, poking un at Dahyun. Of course, he didn't mean it negatively. "I'm born to annoy people if anything. And I wasn't even... born?" The thought confused himself even more, since he truly wasn't born like other creatures, well most of them. "If you weren't, then you just made good use of your abilities. And that's admirable, I think," Hyunjin nodded slowly with an impressed smile.
@hyunjin h。ˢᵃᵘᶜʸᴶ she let out a silly chuckle from her tiers, looking down at the menu as she was tickled by the expression on the male's face. "Saliva." She answered on the behalf of the feline and flipped to the page where drinks are listed. Noting that he wanted the same, she went through the said list slowly, making sure she don't regret the choice of drink and looked up at the other. "Well, there're various kinds of coffee, which would you be getting? Mhm, kind of. I merely ask the questions physically and i just read it off based on their thoughts and body language." The remark took her by surprise as she had never really thought of herself to be as such. Sure, she chose veterinary as her job because she loved and was so willing to help animals but to be born for such a purpose, she was unsure. "Maybe. I'm sure you're born to make people laugh."
@dahyun p。ᵗʰᵉˡᵘⁿᵃ "Mn," Hyunjin's smile grew even bigger as he leaned down to pick the cat up placing it neatly onto his lap. His hands ran through the fluffy fur and his mouth opened in awe. One hand let go of the kitty, to touch his own hair, the strands that stuck out from under the beanie around his neck, and his eyes jumped to look at Dahyun in silent shock. Hyunjin leaned closer to the cat and whispered: "What hair product do you use?" It was all for good fun and the imp laughed, proceeding to pet and the cat. "That's sounds good actually," he nodded as he listened to the description of the food Dahyun seemed to have chosen. "Can I copy? That sounds really good," and this way, he had decided. "And coffee," he grinned, his fingers massaging the spot where the cat's jaw and neck connected. "Really? You can hear their thoughts?" Hyunjin blinked at Dahyun before lowering his head at the cat. "I think you were born to help animals," he admitted.
@hyunjin h。ˢᵃᵘᶜʸᴶ She pursed her lips in thought, looking through the menu that was already on the table by the time she had reached earlier and flipping through it. "I was thinking of getting that salmon overload set. Apparently it was a stack of slices of smoked salmon in between veggies and bread. Oooh sounds yummy. I better hope no cat hope up here," she answered before looking up at the male and then at the said furry animal. "Ask them first. As in the cat. They dislike being touched randomly," she nodded at the cat, staring into its eyes for a bit and chuckled. "He said you look adorable for trying to hold him. Go ahead. He's fine with it." Motioning to the other as to encourage him to pick it up, the white fluffy cat sauntered over to where it was and rubbed its body against his leg as if to greet him. "Neither do I. But being a vet does allow me to communicate telepathically with them."
@dahyun p。ᵗʰᵉˡᵘⁿᵃ Hyunjin smiled across the table as the paper was crumpled up, relieved and actually amused by the gesture. "Uhm, what are you in the mood for?" He asked, eyes blinking in genuine curiosity, before he looked around at the mention of the pets. She was right, there was nothing better than being surrounded by adorable little furry creatures. "Can I, like, hold them?" Hyunjin asked as his eyes landed on a very fluffy white cat and his hands involuntarily moved to make grabbing gestures. "Or I have to ask them for permission?" his head whipped back towards Dahyun, almost child-like confusion twinkling in his eyes. Although he meant asking for permission from the cat itself, his question could be interpreted differently. "I've never been to a pet cafe before," he admitted with a slightest of pouts, realizing how big of a mistake it was not to stop by earlier. He would be a regular by now, he believed.
@hyunjin h。ˢᵃᵘᶜʸᴶ Taking her seat that also faced the entrance, she peered out of the window with her right index finger pushing aside the silk-like curtains aside to see what and how the weather would be like. Especially for nine-tailed foxes, they had different abilities to control elements and for Dahyun, she could with the weather and more specifically nature. With the soft jingles of the bell hung overheard at the entrance, she shifted her focus back in front of her and grinned upon seeing the face she had also seen many times on the app, her hand moving away from the window to wave slightly. "Yeah! I'm Dahyun. It's finally nice to meet you in person, Hyunjin." With a hesitant look, she reached into her coat's pocket to retrieve a piece of a white long paper and examined it for a bit. "Just a receipt for something I bought. It's faded but definitely not a tailsman." Crushing the paper up and dumping it back into the coat, she chuckled as she took off her coat as well. "So i think they might have all-day breakfast sets. This is great, having animals around you while having your meal."
@dahyun p。ᵗʰᵉˡᵘⁿᵃ Hyunjin loved socialising. He was a social person despite his lack of knowledge on how to do it correctly. He would usually prank and joke his way into someone's life and sooner or later, when the imp considered the particular person something close to a friend, the person would have enough or be completely annoyed by him. He was a lonely creature by nature. He got dressed into his athletic wear, since he was going to go to work after the breakfast, his hair in half updo under a warm beanie. His long winter coat covered most of his outfit as he made his way, unusually lazily, to the pet cafe. He walked in an bowed his head to the staff with a tight-lipped smile that made his dimples pop. He scanned the place while ping the long coat, searching for the face he has seen a handful of times on pictures on the app. "Oh, hi," he greeted the miss that was definitely the one he had seen. "You're Dahyun?" he asked, pointing a curious finger at her as he approached the table. "No talismans, right?" He smiled slightly wider as he seated himself across from her. "It's nice to officially meet you," he chuckled with a wide smile that made his eyes disappear into crescents before he started hanging his coat on the back of the seat.
@hyunjin h。ˢᵃᵘᶜʸᴶ after having invited someone from the application, it was her second time meeting someone outside of the scope of her job. To think she spent a couple of years buried in her works to save and rescue injured strays and pets, she had never bothered to socialise. Within the time span of a good forty minutes, she got ready with just sunscreen and lip balm on and dressed in the most comfortable sweats and a padded long coat to combat the cold. One would think the foxes didn't get cold due to their fur but oh boy, did they. "Hello!", she greeted the staff cheerily while pushing the door and taking a step in with her gaze sweeping over the entire premises before choosing the one against the backdrop of the outside scenery, near the sheer-cloaked window that let in little sunlight.
