@† Xiao Zhan Yibo was completely prepared for Zhan to talk about any experience he had in church or related to his god or whatever, and had the questions he'd ask to shoot the idea down. He was not, however, expecting that Zhan would already consider their time to the park a time when he was truly happy. "R-really?" Yibo asked, a little unsure if he could believe his own ears as a smile spread across his face, "That's great then. I'm glad I could make you happy." Scooting closer to Zhan on the bed, Yibo leaned in and pressed a kiss to Zhan's soup-stained lips again, "You should spend more time with me then. I like making you happy."
@† Wang Yibo Zhan thought hard about Yibo's question - /really/ hard. But he still blanked. Eating the noodles to buy himself a little time, Zhan finally came up with a response. It was embarrassing to say, and Zhan was already blushing before he could tell Yibo the answer. "Last week," he mumbled, chewing on the inside of his cheek at the anticipation of what Yibo would say in response. Would he laugh? Find Zhan stupid? Like it? Find him... cute? "When you took me to the park last week... but today also made me very happy."
@† Xiao Zhan In exchange for his cup of noodles, Yibo took a slurp of Zhan's curry flavored ones as well, his eyes lighting up when he realized that he enjoyed the flavor a lot. He had just tipped the cup slightly back to get a sip of the soup when Zhan's sudden coughing stopped him in his tracks. Quickly looking up, Yibo reached an arm behind the older's back and gave a few pats right under Zhan's crest, hoping to help him cough out whatever got caught in his throat. "What?" Yibo asked, almost choking himself when Zhan called their date sinful. "This is the farthest thing from being sinful!" he insisted, placing his noodles down and making Zhan look him in the eyes, "You're not sinning, do you hear me? You're living life as any young guy your age should. Stop belittling yourself. Is it so sinful to have fun? Are you saying you'll just marry someone without dating them? How are you going to be happy?" Jabbing at Zhan's heart with a finger, Yibo asked, "Seriously, when is the last time you were truly, truly happy?"
@† Wang Yibo Taking Yibo's cup of noodles, Zhan gave them a cautious sniff before trying a few strands. They were spicy and stung in his mouth, but it was accompanied by a fragrant sweetness that filled his senses. Zhan ate rather happily until Yibo said it was a 'date'. He choked in his surprise, the noodle in his mouth hitting the back of his throat and causing him to cough nonstop. "Date?" he repeated, clutching the noodle cup tightly. It was not that Zhan opposed to it, but... what did that mean?! "I've never been on a date," he squeaked, as though he really knew what it meant. "It's... sinful."
@† Xiao Zhan Yibo was satisfied because Zhan was satisfied. If the noodles were a success, then Yibo would gladly stock up boxes into his pantry so he could deliver them to Zhan whenever he wanted. "Yeah?" he asked, chewing his own mouthful of noodles, "I'm glad you like them. Do you want to try mine?" Of course, Yibo's were a completely new flavor to Zhan too, since he could be positive the older male never tried kimchi, "It's Korean-styled pickled cabbage. Also a bit spicy," he said, handing his noodles over to Zhan. Zhan's words made Yibo's chest swell with pride and affection, and he sheepishly waved a hand at the other, "It's nothing. I've been wanting to take you out on a date like this since we first met."
@† Wang Yibo Taking the chopsticks from Yibo, Zhan followed his lead to pick up a few strands and blow on the noodles before slurping on the noodles, the yellow soup staining his lips quickly. It was spicy, unlike the bland food his mother and father usually offered to him. "It's good!" he exclaimed, quick to pick up another mouthful and blow on then chewy noodles. He grinned at Yibo when he caught the other's eyes, his cheeks heating up, though he was not sure whether it was from the heat of the noodles or Yibo's caring actions. "Yibo..." he said, clutching the noodle cup tightly. "Thank you. For tonight."
@† Xiao Zhan Hearing the telltale crunch of the chips, Yibo grinned while his back was turned to Zhan. Of course, the older was still a normal boy after all. Who wouldn't love chips? Once he finished preparing the ramen, he handed the curry bowl over to Zhan, his fingertips barely hanging onto the rim of the bowl. "Be careful," he warned Zhan before turning to get his own bowl, "You have to blow on it. It's boiling hot water." Sitting across the bed from Zhan, Yibo blew at the soup in his bowl and used his chopsticks to give the loosened noodles a good mix. "They're ready, try it!" he said, demonstrating to Zhan how he should blow on the noodles before slurping them down.
@† Wang Yibo Thankfully, the sour onion and cream chips tasted much better. Zhan discovered an affinity for them as soon as the first one touched his tongue. It was absolutely addicting. He ate them at a rather rapid pace as Yibo cooked their noodles, clearing most of the small bag in the matter of minutes before the noodles finished cooking. Delicious. And the curry noodles smelled even better. Putting the bag aside, Zhan tore a tissue off the nightstand and cleaned his hand before wandering curiously to where Yibo was. "Are they ready?" he asked, peering over the boiling cups and yelping when hot steam hit his face. "Ow!"
@† Xiao Zhan While Zhan was not enjoying the spicy snack as much as Yibo thought he would, Yibo himself was having a great time taking stick after stick and chewing on it rabidly. He almost wished that he had some beer to go along with the latiao right now. Upon hearing Zhan's question though, Yibo got the hint, and immediately set aside the bag of latiao to exchange for a bag of chips that Zhan had chosen earlier. "Here," he said, opening it up for the older, "Have some. Let me go make the noodles." Leaving Zhan to his own devices, Yibo began to prepare the two ramen bowls, even making sure to break the two sets of wooden chopsticks and file them out before adding water to the noodles and letting them heat up for three minutes.
@† Wang Yibo Watching the kettle heat up, Zhan accepted the latiao from Yibo, taking a small, hesitant bite from it. He scrunched up his face as he chewed on it, not used to such a strange texture, but swallowed it in the end. It didn't taste very good, but he didn't want to disappoint Yibo. He continued to chew slowly on it, hoping the water would heat up faster so that he had an excuse to eat noodles and not this latiao anymore. "What else is there to eat?" he asked in his desperation, eyeing the bags of chips on their bed.
@† Xiao Zhan "Mm, let's get you some instant noodles then," Yibo said, sliding off the bed to grab their snack bag. He set a pot of water down to boil in the kettle, and then began to lay out all of the available options. "Curry? Sure, then I'll have this Korean kimchi one. It's a little spicy, but you might like it." While they waited for the water to boil, Yibo brought a few packs of the chips that he had chosen earlier, stuffing them in Zhan's arms, "Here, let's do a taste test." The first thing he held up with the pack of Latiao that he had advertised to Zhan from earlier. "Try this, he said, opening the bag and pulling out a greasy, red stick of beancurd for Zhan.
@† Wang Yibo Yibo moved on from the kissing so quickly that Zhan was starting to feel weird for being the one fixating on it. He sat up a little when Yibo offered to make instant noodles, which, of course, were another must-try on Zhan's list. "I never had instant noodles," he admitted, rubbing his eyes from sleep. A glance at the clock told him it was almost midnight! Way past Zhan's bedtime already. He picked up one of the extra pillows to hug, hiding his yawn against the clean white sheet. "Can I try the curry flavour?"
@† Xiao Zhan "Alright, alright," Yibo said to please Zhan, "I'll marry you." That being said, Yibo was more than surprised that he'd be able to get this much out of Zhan. This Christian boy was more openminded than Yibo gave him credit for. Yibo grinned as he closed in on Zhan's lips again, capturing them for another kiss. They lounged on the bed for a while after that, and though Yibo could tell Zhan was starting to get sleepy, he was reluctant for the night to end so early. Remembering the bag of snacks that they had bought from the convenience store, Yibo tried to coax the older to stay up with him by suggesting, "Have you ever had late night instant noodles? It hits differently, want to try?" Of course he knew Zhan had never had instant noodle, /plus/ the older was asleep by nine, so this experience couldn't have been familiar to him.
@† Wang Yibo With Yibo's promise, Zhan was a little more reassured. He let Yibo bring him closer with just a finger under his chin. They kissed again, and Zhan was daring enough this time to pucker his lips a little to kiss Yibo back. He had never kissed before, but that was how he'd always imagined he would kiss. "If you kiss me, then we should marry," Zhan said shyly, giddy at the thought of having found a spouse already. His parents would be happy! Maybe. They did say he was supposed to focus on his studies for now... But they shouldn't mind if Zhan continued with his career route to become a pastor.
@† Xiao Zhan Yibo's eyes widened at Zhan's question, since he had never met anyone who equated a first kiss to marriage. However, since this was Zhan that he was talking about, Yibo decided to humor the possibility. After all, he definitely wouldn't mind marrying the perfection that was Zhan. "Sure, I'll marry you," Yibo ended up replying casually, hooking a finger under Zhan's chin and tilting the older's head back slightly so he could have access to Zhan's lips again, "If you want me to, that is." With that, he leaned in again, capturing Zhan's lips in yet another sweet kiss.
@† Wang Yibo By the time Yibo was finished, Zhan was a frazzled mess. "Um-" he squeaked, his hand up Yibo's robe at the front in his nerves. What did Zhan think? He thought that it was the most wonderful feeling in the world. One kiss, and Zhan was hooked. Yibo did not make it sinful at all - only natural. "Want more," he confirmed in a small mumble, his cheek pressed comfortably to the top of Yibo's shoulder. "But, Yibo... if you kiss me, does that mean you'll marry me?" Zhan's cheeks burned bright red at that, but he needed to know! Why else would Yibo kiss him?
@† Xiao Zhan Yibo didn't want to scare Zhan with any aggression in his kissing, so he took his slowly. He slowly puckered his lips and made a 'smooching' noise against Zhan's soft lips, slotting their lips together without any tongue action yet. Yibo made sure to take things slowly, tilting his head in a variety of angles to help Zhan find his favorite position. By the time he pulled away, Yibo was surprised that Zhan did not stop him any sooner (or at all) and he smiled victoriously as he looked down at the older male. "What do you think?" Yibo asked softly, pressing his lips to Zhan's forehead, "Want more?"
@† Wang Yibo Zhan was pretty sure he didn't tell Yibo that he needed to 'wish' for something, but continued to listen carefully. And he was sure Jesus did not owe him a... kiss, but his thoughts were so busy that he couldn't even react when Yibo's face loomed in and their lips touched. Zhan tensed up, but there was nowhere to go. The thing was, it felt so good that Zhan /didn't/ want to go anywhere. He let Yibo do whatever he liked, enjoying the foreign feeling of a mouth against his own too curious for Zhan to want it to stop.
@† Xiao Zhan Yibo had been holding back this urge since day one, really, but now that they were alone and he had the rest of the night with Zhan, there was no reason for him to wait any longer. Waiting until he had the older's eyes and ears on him, Yibo smirked again, his gaze lowering as it focused on Zhan's smooth, plump lips. "So you remember the first time I went with you to that church service right?" he asked, his voice lowered so that Zhan would have to focus and hang onto his every word, "And you told me to wish for something at the end?" Leaving a moment of silence in between for Zhan to recollect his memories, Yibo finished off with, "So anyways, I'm here to collect the kiss that Jesus owes me now." After saying that, he leaned in to capture Zhan's lips in a soft, innocent kiss.
@† Wang Yibo Zhan didn't understand much of Yibo's little tirade, but he did take away from it that it was okay to hug like this. When Yibo called for him so gently, he looked up, his eyes wide and full of innocence. "What is it?" he asked in a tiny voice, full of sleep and uncertainty. What could be so important that Yibo needed to tell him right now, as he was about to doze off to sleep in such a comfortable and warm environment? Zhan rubbed his eyes with a fist, his cheek rubbing against the top of Yibo's chest when he yawned.
@† Xiao Zhan "Really now?" Yibo asked, snorting at Zhan's revelation. "Did you know that it's not normal for humans to not touch each other? We're social animals. We need to touch other people. Hugging can make you less likely to have depression. There are studies that show that." he said, getting into a mini lecture with Zhan. At the end of it, Yibo laughed off his tirade and added, "But hey, let me tell you, there is so much more than touching that is equally acceptable to do /and/ not sinful at all." With that, Yibo had a sneaky glint in his eyes. Looking down at Zhan's curled up figure, he coaxed gently, "Hey, look at me. I need to tell you something."
@† Wang Yibo Zhan was not tired, but he did not know how else he was going to explain his feelings to Yibo. "I'm not tired," he mumbled, trying to mirror what Yibo did to... hug. It was an exhilarating feeling, to feel so... intimate. Was that the word? Zhan tried to explain himself, but it only caused his cheeks to become even more pink. "I've never cuddled anyone before," he admitted, as though it was surprising and scandalous. "My mommy and daddy said it's sinful to touch anyone you aren't going to marry."
@† Xiao Zhan Zhan was so receptive to cuddling that Yibo praised himself for making such big progress with the older male. Speaking of older, Yibo noted that Zhan was quite small for a male at his age. He wasn't much taller than Yibo, and he had a lean frame that could probably be knocked over by the wind if it blew too hard. It was probably a matter of not eating enough since Zhan's food options were so limited. Momentarily distracted, Yibo reminded himself to make a cup of instant ramen for them both later, as it would be good to introduce Zhan to 'supper'. "Oh yeah?" he asked, grinning as he wrapped his arm around Zhan's back and held him close, "Are you tired? Why are you hiding your face?"
@† Wang Yibo Seeing Yibo's expression when he came out of the shower, just in his robe, Zhan grew unsettled beneath the covers. There was something carnal about his expression that scared Zhan, but who was he to say no to Yibo and a cuddle? He craved that warmth so bad. Carefully, he placed his head where Yibo indicated, his breath catching in his throat when the pounding of Yibo's heart became audible. Warily, as if Yibo would react, Zhan rested a palm beside his head on Yibo's chest, relaxing with a content sigh. "So warm," he mumbled, hiding his face against Yibo's chest in his shyness.
@† Xiao Zhan Yibo had to take a cold shower to calm his throbbing . He couldn't just rub one out in case Zhan was peeking from outside and got scared off by it. Though irritated by this new situation, Yibo finished his shower in record time to join Zhan outside. "Hey," he called out to the male, who was hiding his face in a pillow. Yibo suddenly smirked, having a good idea of what was going on, "Still want to cuddle?" he offered, clambering into bed besides Zhan and leaning his back on the headrest. Patting at his chest, he welcomed Zhan to lean on him.
@† Wang Yibo Zhan, in his own nervousness, barely noticed anything amiss with Yibo. He waited until Yibo went to shower before trying to maneuver himself into bed without hiking his robe up past his waist. That would, of course, be indecent. As he settled into bed, Zhan caught sight of movement toward his left. To his absolute horror, he realized that the glass was semi-transparent. He could see a lot of Yibo, including his... down there, and that meant Yibo saw a lot too. Mortified, Zhan turned away with burning red cheeks, burying his face into a pillow. How sinful.
@† Xiao Zhan Yibo had not expected to have such a surprise in the hotel room, but it turned out that the bathroom was only separated from the bedroom by a thin wall of frosted glass, and as Zhan went to shower, Yibo settled on the bed closer to the wall, seeing the older's silhouette very clearly. Before long, Yibo had already invited his hand into his pants, his eyes narrowing as he tugged along to the movements that Zhan's body swayed in while showering, groaning softly to himself as he wished that he could somehow get a closer look. So not only did his Zhan-ge have a pretty face, but also a damn perfect body too? Yibo could see how snatched that waist was. It would be a waste to let such perfection fall into the hands of a supposed god.
When Zhan finished his shower, Yibo thought he'd have a few minutes to finish up his session while the older male dried off. To his surprise, Zhan emerged from the bathroom quicker than Yibo expected, and the younger still hand his hands down his pants. "Oh!" he called out, hunching over and jerking his hand out when Zhan called for him. "Alright, my turn," Yibo answered sheepishly, trying to get up in the most natural way possible.
@† Wang Yibo Zhan took the fluffy robe and towel, but it wasn't until he entered the bathroom that he realized he had never worn a robe before. Was he supposed to wear any clothes under it? Leave it open? Tie it closed? It didn't make sense to wear his dirty clothes again, so he'd have to be underneath. Taking a quick, lukewarm shower, Zhan returned to the robe. It felt good against his skin, and he found that it was actually quite easy to tie the front together to obscure everything. Emerging back into the room, Zhan averted his eyes as he sat on the bed, stiff and rigid. "Your turn."
@† Xiao Zhan "Oh?" Yibo chuckled at Zhan's newfound concern. He had never heard of anyone who would be worried about soiling hotel beds. He wondered if he should break it to Zhan that there were worse things that could happen, more so than just getting their dirty clothes on the bed. Holding his tongue, Yibo decided he would try to be more useful instead, going into the bathroom and opening up the few cabinets inside. Sure enough, there were two robes waiting for them in the upper most cabinet where the towels were kept. "Here," he said, taking one towel and placing it in Zhan's hand, "Shower and then put this on. I'll wait for you."
@† Wang Yibo Goodness. Yibo wanted to cuddle. Zhan remembered the warmth that seeped through his sweater when Yibo hugged him in the phone booth, and he craved it. He never wanted to feel a feeling again so bad. "Okay," he agreed shyly, peeking toward the bathroom, which was merely separated from the bedroom by a semi-transparent window. "But we didn't bring any change of clothes. What are we going to wear after we shower? I don't want to dirty the bed..."
