I blinked slowly and right when I was about to speak, your words cut me off and goosebumps covered my arms and the hair stuck up on my neck. I could cry in this moment, I could hide my face against your should and just cry, but I didn’t. I smiled softly at you, and admired your beautiful face and your words as they echoed in my head. And I softly said with a warmer smile on my face

My sister having such a blast decorating the place the way she liked and all he could do was be grateful for the fact that she left his office alone.
This is where we will live, darling. Where no one will ever be able to take you away, or hurt you.
I whispered calmly and walked in toward the living room where the colour scheme remained warm.

/silently moves with you in front of rather ugly door
/looks up at you and nods to show acknowledgment for the numbers you've shared with me
/the door unlocks and my heartbeat quickens; my hand squeezes yours and I bury into your side; I can't wait to see inside... to see what the home of a God looks like
Oh! /gasps in surprise when you lift me up; I immediately understand the reference and a light pink dusts my cheeks, and in that moment I promise to not show my disappointment even if I don't like the way your home looks/

The door clicked and I slowly opened it before swiftly lifting you up like a groom would their bride and smiled at you before I kissed your temple. Walking inside slowly and whispering to you gently

/I smile and step inside, expecting the other side of the wall to open up as well but you turn around to face where we entered
... /turns around as well, not saying anything but I'm confused again
/more glowing numbers but this time you only press one, and pull me to you and then...
/the floor feels like it's about to give out and I scream and grab onto you; a moment later it 'catches' and begins to move
/glares at the wall, refusing to be afraid of this magic box but still clings to you
/holds onto you with enough of a grip for my knuckles to turn white, only loosening my grip on you once the box stops and the sliding doors open again/

We don’t need horses darling. This is called a car, and it is this creation that transports us without horses… and it’s much faster.
I nodded and reversed the car and then turned it around and out of the parking lot where we started down the road, the lights of the city and the cars soon filling the streets had me giving your hand another soft squeeze.
