@† qian kun " my luck." Hyunjin muttered as soon as he heard the familiar voice echoing through the room, causing almost all of the guards to shut their mouth in an instant. It was actually kind of admirable that the man held such an authority over them, enough that they complied to his every order. If Hyunjin was ever given the chance to have a high position like that, he would for sure abuse any kind of power he was given too. Sometimes he craved to appear intimidating, the thought briefly crossed his mind and then he went back to dye his hair in every eccentric color he found just for the hell of it. It had been long ever since Hyunjin had accepted the fact that he was a lost cause. He was barely educated enough to read and even that he did just like a minor on his first grade, thanks to their ruler who apparently considered basic education as some kind of privilege only meant for the rich.

However the silence only managed to trigger his sedatephobia, reminding him of various memories that still haunted his mind whenever he wasn't distracted by any kind of noise. Jolting up, he paced around the cell, initially choosing to keep a distance from the interrogator who approached him. The false security of the railings between them gave him some kind of confidence to walk a little closer as he wrapped his ringed fingers around the cold metal slowly as if to test the waters in case the officer decided to attack him. His next words erased his fear for a short while, eyebrows furrowed in disbelief. "You're ing kidding me right? As if you don't know." He snorted in annoyance pushing himself backwards to pace around the middle of his cell like a weary caged animal. The guards were openly sporting various shirts with the South Korean flags on a daily basis under their uniform and the interrogator still wondered what got Hyunjin so infamous all of a sudden with the majority of his coworkers, right after their interrogation happened. Normally he would mask any kind of raw emotion with a smug grin but lately he was more than just a little pissed with the hell they put him through just because they had the power to mess with him without facing any kind of consequences. And then the er had the audacity to act clueless as if Hyunjin was the one who forced him under some kind of vampiric spell to speak.

@☩ hwang hyunjin After having confirmed the schedule from the head members, Kun led his own team of officers down the hallway leading into the cell blocks. Though the details given to them were sparse, he could safely assume that the head authorities had finally caught someone with actual evidence to prove their guilt. Kun had several guesses as to who the prisoners could be, but made no effort to share those thoughts with his peers and juniors lest they get too rowdy.

Quietly, several different teams shuffled into the prison ward, a blindingly white hallway filled with brightly-lit, cement gray rooms locked behind solid iron bars and thick glass panes. Each team was assigned to their respective posts, and after receiving such bare minimum orders, Kun and his team stationed themselves in one area and eyed the criminals under their watch, studying each and every one.

It didn't take long for commotion to start as some of the officers had quite a grudge against some of the prisoners, some a little too personal for their so-called professional conversations. As Kun moved to drag his fellow officers back by their collar, he spotted a familiar face in a cell surrounded by several more guards, with ones that weren't even from his own team. It was quite bewildering how infamous this man was among many officers, Kun almost wondered why he hadn't heard of him prior to their little interrogation session. To be hated by a few individuals was one thing, but to be despised by many was another. Maybe it was because Kun had nothing to lose that made him unable to understand why the other officers refused to let go of their anger.

"Everyone shut it before I silence you myself," Kun muttered, his voice alone making the crowd part through the middle. "It's too early for this kind of commotion," he scolded, only sparing Hyunjin a glance before attempting to send the other officers away. Though a few refused to budge, at least the crowd had dispersed enough to rid of most of the noise. Kun glowered at the man in the cell, already feeling a little more irritated than usual. "Can't even go one day without causing this kind of bull. What's up with you and almost every officer in this facility? It's starting to get on my nerves."

@† qian kun Hyunjin knew better than to really believe he was easily dismissed like that just because of his poor health. He did exaggerate about it but it was one of the few things that he wasn't really lying about since he did have anemia which was clearly included in his medical records that he carried around to each one of his weekly appointments so the ing leeches wouldn't him dry. Not that they cared about his well beings but he was of no use to them dead either. Or perhaps, a dead body was more convenient instead of a handful of vampires complaining about their lost valuables as if they didn't have the money to buy a bunch of them in a couple of seconds. Either way he offered a military salute to the interrogator as he was lead out by the other officers, finally able to take a breath without worrying that a potential murderous vampire would charge him.

However it didn't take long before he ended up in the security office once again but instead of the interrogation room he was shoved in a cell instead. There was something off about some of the guards after that day with the new interrogator, Qian Kun if he remembered correctly. They seemed to eye him far more wearily and suspiciously than usual, even offering him dirty looks during their appointments, if he was unlucky enough to be paired with them. There was particularly one who even dared to prolong their blood feeding even though it was clearly stated that he was prohibited to do so because of Hyunjin's state. Of course there were no consequences for the er, but when it came to petty thefts, everyone was suddenly offended and went ballistic. From what he knew the other was kind of a jingoist, he didn't really hide it, always sporting shirts with the South Korean flag logo during their appointments. Then he realized that somehow his private information had been leaked. It didn't take long before he put two and two together. The chinese guy made him confess with his stupid vampire powers. "Racist bastard." He muttered, a bit too loud so the officers could hear him as sat on the floor with his arms crossed in front of his chest. "At least tell me the reason you're keeping me here!" He shouted in frustration, while drawing his knees close to his chest and resting his elbows on top of them. Indeed the crime rates for the past few months were nonexistent but even if something went on, Hyunjin wasn't the guilty one for once since he kept a low profile to avoid having to meet the creepy interrogator again. Hopefully his duties didn't include guarding prisoners.

@☩ hwang hyunjin Kun eyed the camera in the upper corner of the room, sending the rest of the team a quiet signal of success. He assessed the other's response in the last few seconds of his trance, taking a mental note of all the important details in case the footage of the entire interrogation is ever tampered with at any point. A small, barely noticeable grin graced Kun's features, though it disappeared quickly as the human slowly returned to his true consciousness. For the sake of the act, Kun's expression faded into one of irritation, easily falling into anger as if it were muscle memory. "Can't take any more hits, I see. I guess you really do need medical assistance now, huh." He sighed heavily, and although he sounded genuinely concerned at first, his tone had a hint of underlying sarcasm. "Can't have you passing out in here, Hwang. Hell knows what would happen if you do, and unlike yourself, I actually abide with the rules." In his head, Kun could almost hear himself scoffing at his own words. If he ever stopped trying to save himself with his rigorous moral training, then he wouldn't be any better than all those criminals crawling around in the city. If fate forbid, he could be even worse.

Finally, after a moment of silence, Kun shook his head in disappointment, pretending as though he had run out of options. "You know what? Forget it," he spat, slamming his hands down onto the table, the venom in his tone sounding a little bit too aggressive than he had planned. "You're a lost cause, there's no point." Kun snapped his fingers as he backed off, gesturing at the guards outside through the one-way mirror. As they cautiously filed in to the human away, Kun approached him one last time. "Quite a lucky man you are, huh? I can't interrogate you when you're seconds away from unconsciousness. They'll have to take you to the doctor's." The vampire rolled his eyes, feigning annoyance as he shoved through the rest of the team.

"I better not see your face back here so soon," Kun muttered under this breath, turning back one last time. "But if you do, then you better have answers. Else, I'll personally make it your last visit."

@† qian kun Before Hyunjin could register what was going on, he already felt a cold hand against his chin and just as he was about to pull away, his body paused and his mind froze instantly. The pupils of his eyes dilated and he couldn't really focus anywhere, his sight getting blurrier as the only thing he could hear clearly was the vampire's question. "Real name is Cho Hyeonjin, I come from the North and I have a little brother who's still there. Never met my parents. I was scouted when I was 14 and a man helped me pass the borders to work for him. A well off customer offered to care for me exclusively and I was sold to that er. Now I'm affiliated with the Yakuza but mostly as a dealer, otherwise I only do VIP customers. He was forced to send me here as a spy. I like it better here but the money isn't enough to pay for my brother's journey." He stated in a robotic manner, his eyes remaining unblinking even though his lids were getting heavier by the second as his muscles relaxed, his body sliding backwards until his back hit the back of the seat with a thud, awakening him from his daze.

"What the-" Hyunjin cursed once he regained his consciousness, shutting his eyes close and massaging his temples as a sudden wave of headache hit him. "Told ya, I'm anemic." He chuckled, throwing his head backwards in an attempt to get rid off an upcoming migraine. At least the office's chair was far more comfortable than the one in his room which was more like a rathole. "Where were we?" He asked with a dumbfounded expression on his face while ruffling his messy hair as if doing so would make his fogged mind any clearer. It felt as if he had just woken up from a deep slumber, completely disoriented and out of place.
† qian kun 2 years ago
@☩ hwang hyunjin A dull ache made its way to his skull, feeling as though he had taken several bricks straight to the head. Despite what he believed, there was really no other way of progressing the interrogation without using some of his tricks. Violence was always a viable option, but he refused to stoop so low for bits of information that were only ever useful to the investigation team more than it was for him. So instead, Kun settled for another method, one he often used in place of his aggression, given that he had no other choices left to pick from.

He doesn't leave the other any room to deter him, figure blurring as he quickly leaned over the table, grabbing the human's chin gently but firmly between his fingers. Tilting his head upwards, Kun stared straight into his eyes before he could pull away, orbs flashing a rich, swirling indigo instead of red. "You should have listened to me when I gave you a chance, little human. But I'm afraid you left me no other choice," he hummed, his tone soft and velvety, slowly luring the other into a trance he could not escape from. Only when he felt the other's weight slump heavier into the seat, Kun pulled away, satisfied at the result. But he couldn't bother to use too much of his energy on this, and knew he only had a finite amount of time to get the answers he wanted before reality kicked in. And so, resting his palms against the table once more, the vampire spoke. Voice calm and alluring, despite his fangs getting in the way.

"You've taken up so much of my time, haven't you? Well then, why don't you tell me everything about yourself? In exchange for all those hours you've taken from me."

@† qian kun Hyunjin made a grimace once he realized the door handle wouldn't bother and he turned around, sighing in defeat as he let himself drop back to his seat. There was no way the interrogator wasn't aware of the drug trafficking situation, many of his colleagues were also involved and he had made a deal with the police which was why he was never accused of such charges in the first place. It was kind of an open secret that Hyunjin had his connections through the black market and various illegal businesses but as long as they police got their share, they kept their mouth shut and turned a blind eye to him. Could it be that he was suspecting his origin? His South Korean accent was nearly perfect and for that same reason his papers included Busan as his birth place to excuse it. No one would know he's from North Korea unless they saw the flag tattoo on his lower back he was forced to get while he was there. But even if any of his partners saw it he would come up with various excuses regarding political beliefs and no one cared enough to make a big deal out of it. Unless he was as racist towards North Koreans as Japanese people which he doubted since his name sounded Chinese.

"What's your deal? I can get you in touch with various people and services. Is that it?" He asked, lowering the tone of his voice as he leaned slightly closer on the table to close the distance between them. There had to be a reason this particular interrogator pressured him so much unlike any other. Perhaps it was his way of asking for a special favor that he normally charged generously for. "Speedball right? Free of charge, of course." He referred to a mix of and heroin that was hard to find and had become a popular choice among the blood farm lately with the waiting list getting bigger and bigger.

@☩ hwang hyunjin Kun said nothing despite the sudden outburst, completely unbothered for most part. But he, too, had his own limits even on duty. He wasn't assigned to interrogate people for a good reason, yet here he was close to giving in to his violent tendencies, an itch to wrap his hands around the human's throat and force the answers out of him. "Theft is the least of our problems, but there's a reason why they keep bringing you back here, and it wouldn't be for petty theft." Kun scoffed, crossing his arms over his chest, refusing to flinch no matter what the human said to him. The other was becoming genuinely frustrated, something a little uncharacteristic given his cocky attitude just mere moments ago. Kun assumed he was much closer to the man's secret than he had realized. Otherwise, the human wouldn't get so defensive so quickly. Quietly, he watched as the other made a beeline for the door, breathing in deeply as he leaned back into his seat. "Door's locked. I wouldn't bother. I'm telling you, you're stuck with me, and probably will be until the next interrogator if you keep it up." Once more, Kun inhaled a little longer, taking in the scent of fresh blood lingering inside the room.

"I guess you really are lucky. If I were any other starving vampire, I would have killed you by now," Kun chuckled, the tone bitter as it was dark. He observed the human from head to toe, left to right. Taking note of the ever so tiny, barely noticeable glint somewhere in his hands, shyly peeking from his sleeve. Of course he came armed to at least some degree, they all do. "Fortunately for you, I don't like human blood. But just a few more hours in here and I might get desperate, who knows? Pity if I lost my patience again, don't you think?"
☩ hwang hyunjin ʰ 2 years ago
@† qian kun Hyunjin was no fool, he already knew the consequences of a confession and it certainly wasn't as simple as the interrogator made it seem. Without physical proof they had nothing against him but just rumors and there was nothing illegal about them as long as he kept refusing them. On the contrary if he confessed to one theft they would soon connect all the other cases that involved much more valuable items being stolen than a mere watch and that would surely cost him greatly. He didn't even want to know how they treated humans in such situations considering they were still pretty much prisoners as donors too...and he was being harassed in the interrogation room because of gossip. "I already told you I had nothing to do with this! Show me the proof before you guys bring me here and accuse me of such things!" He snapped, raising the tone of his voice in a defensive manner to show that he was slowly losing his patience. There was no way they were getting a confession out of him unless they had clear evidence against him, he would keep his mouth shut. "Say no more, Ted, I get it you're a serial killer, so what? Anyone would be if they lived for that long and the statute of limitations expires to their favor." The sarcastic words left his mouth before he could think twice about it and who he was talking to. Apparently sometimes he failed to filter his words and occasionally took the childish kind of honesty to another level, only this time his life was in actual danger.

"Just kiddin...that's cool." He muttered hesitantly as he rubbed his nape nervously, opening the wounds by accident due to the friction. Cursing under his breath he quickly wiped his bloody palm over his shirt hoping it wouldn't trigger the other vampire if he did so. "Uhh...I have some important business I should go." He muttered, standing up slowly before picking up his pace a little towards the door, only momentarily directing his gaze from the officer to the exit, thinking it was unlocked.

@☩ hwang hyunjin He couldn't help but roll his eyes at the response, the lack of direction, although he had already expected less. "Get frustrated all you want, you're the one who won't answer me," Kun shrugged, leaning back into his seat even though his entire body was still tense. "At least give me names and tell me what you stole from them, surely that won't hurt whatever this entire thing is." The vampire could keep him in there for as long as he wanted, at this rate they were going, the head interrogator would probably have returned by then. But if he did, Kun would happily leave. Dealing with insufferable humans given his sire-influenced tendencies was something he should remember to avoid in future instances. For now, the least he could do on his side was to, preferably, not kill anyone. "Do you want my entire criminal record served to you on a silver platter? Is that fair enough of a trade? Because really, you can have it. But I'm telling you, it's of no use, and I know you don't belive me one bit." If the other had known what he did, what then? The story was almost half a millenia old, Kun had already learned to live with the fact that he was a monster, and the fact that he was susceptible to becoming one again. He had an inkling that the other probably thought he was lying to cover up something he could get completely screwed over for. But whether the facility decides to kick him to the curb or not, Kun could care less. He would take it as a sign that fate wanted him to return to his damned existence alongside his sire.

"So what's it going to be then? You can sit here and waste your time being stubborn, or you can just give me some simple details. It's not like I asked you about your family," Kun paused, trailing off in thought, just now realizing that the office had no documents on that either. Highly suspicious, but he was well aware that he was eons away from getting that kind of information out of a sealed mouth. "Either way, it's not that personal. You committed theft, just tell me what you took and who you took it from. Simple as that."
☩ hwang hyunjin ʰ 2 years ago
@† qian kun The fact that the other kept insisting that he was a nobody only had Hyunjin more suspicious about his actual whereabouts. No one who got away with murder was a nobody, that was like an unwritten rule of the lowlife. He would make sure to mention the name of the interrogator to his boss, just in case. Not that he trusted his boss any more than he did the vampire who attacked him a few moments ago though. "Been called worse." He chuckled at the other's question. Surely quite the character was among his favorite words anyone used to describe him among the security office. At the man's next words his smirk only grew wider, intrigued by the innuendo as he slowly nodded, to appear flirty and not challenged as if he had something to hide.
There were 2 options for him that he had thought so far. The one being fleeing as he glanced around the familiar room, already aware that there were guards outside of the only exit and watching them behind the mirror....and the other one was buying himself some more time until he came up with a more fluid plan. He was a natural flirt and wasn't afraid to use such tactics even at the rare times his advances were being rejected. His main aim wasn't to get laid since even when the happened most of the times it was far from pleasant experience, but more like to distract the person while also gaining some info about them. Unlike his initial aim though, he was still a perfectly healthy and young adult so remaining professional during each one of his missions was quite challenging especially when pretty people were involved like the one sitting on the other end of the table. So he actually felt the exaggerated pout at the interrogator's disinterest to his last question. "Oh...bummer. It's rainbow for me. I'm quite generous too in that aspect, you know? Sometimes chicks, sometimes , I don't mind either. I can feel anything for anyone. Like annoyance for the er watching me through the mirror." He played dumb once again, answering the other's question but still dodging it somehow as he glared momentarily at the mirror and then back to Kun. "And frustration for his boss." He said that with a dubious tone as his index finger rubbed at his bottom lip as if Hyunjin was unsure of his choice of words. He still stared straight at the other, cautious of his reaction as one hand slowly slid to the waistline of his jeans, underneath the table in case the man was offended by his words and decided to attack.
† qian kun 2 years ago
@☩ hwang hyunjin The vampire scoffed softly, as though he were offended. "I'm not even threatening you right now," he muttered almost childishly, though mostly to himself. Kun narrowed his eyes at him for a brief moment, noting that split second of hesitation before the other spoke. He had no idea why the human seemed a little thrown off by the fact that his name was unfamiliar, but it wasn't really his place to care. Though, he should probably care about keeping this nuisance off of his back for his own sake. "Don't waste your breath, kid. I'm a nobody, believe me," he added, although his tone only made it sound less believable. Either way, it was the other's problem whether he accepted those words as a truth or not. Kun could narrate the details of an entire, supernatural massacre to him if he so wanted, and the other would probably still think he was lying. "You're quite the character, aren't you? Might have to keep an eye on you myself." Though the inquiries had gotten weirder, Kun didn't mind feeding the man's curiosity if it's what it took to get anything else out of him before he was released. "Gray. I feel little to nothing for everything and anything. Now stop stalling, we had a deal, remember?" He grumbled, a little annoyed at the attempt to steer away from their conversation, but otherwise unbothered by the situation. "Tell me something in exchange, and I'll tell you everything about me that you want to know, even though I still think you'll find nothing. I'm still being quite generous here, really. It's only fair, isn't it?" Feeling skeptical, Kun stared at the room's one-way mirror, or past it, more likely. If the guards watching outside knew any better, they would lock the door.
☩ hwang hyunjin ʰ 2 years ago
@† qian kun His name didn't really ring a bell to Hyunjin and he was quite familiar with most criminals, due to his association with the yakuza. They kept informing him about many different names, important parts of their backgrounds, their nature and also their updated whereabouts every once in a while in case he stumbled upon any of them in the blood farm since they were untraceable in the outside city. He even had a whole album of their wanted photos in his room, the ers tended to disappear after dodging the loan sharks and there were even some who ended up hiding in the blood fark too. Of course Hyunjin snitched on them and got paid for it, more than 4 weeks worth of blood appointments. There were no pictures, no sketches and no mentions of a Qian Kun anywhere in his notes. So he couldn't really dismiss the possibility of him being on friendly terms with the mafia, considering he got away with a crime, the man certainly had connections. However if they already had a vessel in the blood farm why would they bother sending Hyunjin there too? There were too many questions haunting his mind at the revelation of the interrogator's name as he nodded hesitantly and took in his words. "Well I'm not the one threatening you with your life so no one's stopping you, man." He raised his hands on the air to show he was actually defenseless, trying buy himself some time to figure out how he was supposed to stray the subject from conversation away from his own whereabouts. Poking his lip piercing with his tongue, he thought twice about his next words before looking up at the vampire with his signature cocky smirk. "uality too."
† qian kun 2 years ago
@☩ hwang hyunjin Though Kun still had his own suspicions, he decided not to act on them. He really had nothing to lose but his own time, and he had plenty of that to waste. More than he would have liked, too. If all the other wanted was his useless information, then Kun would be very glad to give it to him. He had to admit, he wasn't expecting the other to ask for his name first, out of all things. "I guess I really was a last minute replacement, huh? Didn't even bother to introduce me," he shook his head in disbelief, clicking his tongue. But it didn't matter, he probably wouldn't be returning to this room once the head interrogator returned to his post. "But alright, then. The name's Kun. Last name, Qian. Don't bother looking, you won't find my name anywhere." As one of the greatest musical prodigies of his time, it did somewhat sting a little to know that history had no memory of his name. If there were any, it probably would have called him 'the poor boy who, as talented as he was tragic, gave up music and took his own life'. Sounded just about right, as ugly as it seemed to him. If only he hadn't "died" the way he did, then perhaps he would have something from his past life to be proud of. However, even his own sire was too selfish to share him with the world, and erased what little Kun had of public recognition. "What else then? Should I lay everything out on the table? My age? My hometown? Favorite color?" Kun asked, mildly sarcastic, and a little agitated for an entirely different reason.

@† qian kun Hyunjin had to think fast. As soon as the vampire walked off and pretended to be friendly he knew such a change of character was nothing more but an unspoken threaten. A predator playing with its prey right before he decided to attack. But Hyunjin wasn't going to play his game. As the interrogator created some distance between them he rubbed his injured neck with a fake smile on his face. Then he rested an elbow on the table, his back lumped over it as he made himself comfortable, bending over momentarily as if he was scratching his ankle. What he really did was retrieve a dagger from his dirty converse shoes. It would be enough to slow the vampire down as he made a run for it. Sliding it discreetly in the waistline of his jeans, he held the others stare as well to make sure he didn't notice. If the er thought Hyunjin would be intimidated by his made up murder story just because he'd been close to himself in fear of being dry, the man was about to be freaking surprised. "Well for starters...Your name." He stated, raising an eyebrow as if to challenge the vampire. Hyunjin knew people and if he survived this he would make sure to have his background thoroughly researched. In case the man was indeed a killer and there was some kind of proof he would make a hell of a good money if he blackmailed him.

@☩ hwang hyunjin Though Kun hadn't been with the facility for that long of a time, he was no stranger to the eccentricity of their interrogation rooms, and the absurdity of the ones that were brought into them. Of course, he did not expect even an ounce of sincerity from anyone who sat in this room. He was well aware that getting information wasn't easy, and that almost everything he had to work with had stemmed from some kind of rumor. Overtime, Kun had come to terms with the fact that they all shared the same stubborn qualities. There was no trust to be given, and none to be earned either.

Once again, Kun's lips curled up into the tiniest of smiles, surprisingly friendlier and a little too out of place for the room they were currently in. Though the human seemed to be cooperating, Kun doubted him greatly. A man who arrived so brazen and confident becoming so humble out of the blue? No one would believe it — or at least, Kun wouldn't.

So instead of wasting his time lashing out at the delinquent, he decided to humor him. After all, what good was he if he was too afraid to speak? Kun might as well get anything out of him at this point, regardless of whether it had any truth in it or not. He was only doing this for the sake of duty. At the end of the day, he wasn't one of the poor sods losing their valuables to a human with a hand too silent for them to notice.

Kun moved to stand on the opposite side of the interrogation desk, hands relaxed despite the stain of blood on them. The lights seemed to dim even more as he held the other's gaze, yet his expression was warm, already reminiscing. Fortunately, Kun had little to hide. And even if his so-called secrets were broadcasted to the world, what then? His sire, though powerful, was a man of old history. And his progeny? Not any better.

"Well then, Mr. Hwang, what would you like to know?"
☩ hwang hyunjin ʰ 2 years ago
@† qian kun It wouldn't be the first time and surely not the last that Hyunjin was being threatened during an interrogation. With the people he had been involved with before it was only natural to have guns pointing at his head on several occasions, not to the point that he wasn't fazed anymore because it always scared the out of him but to the point that he had grown overly confident of his negotiation skills. One way or another he always managed to get himself out of any ed up situations and as time passed he wasn't just confident but also flirting to pass the line of arrogance. Fangs were a bit scarier since they would lead one to a slow painful death unlike being hit by a bullet so he couldn't maintain his poker face at such a threat.

His eyes followed the man's fingers cautiously as they were lifted from his neck, allowing him to take a deep breath. He had been prepared for such a question, they all seemed to wonder what was the reason behind his petty thefts since he was already being paid by the blood farm a great deal of money. However he wasn't a fool to ever let anyone know the real reason. By revealing his most precious secret, he would become vulnerable. If anyone knew his real background they could easily use it against him for their own advantage. Most of them didn't even know his real name, just the fake one that was given to him along with his South Korea's citizenship papers. And that wasn't going to change because of a couple of fangs...or two. He was the one using them for money, obeying their orders not out of loyalty, his eyes were set on the money. Should one clan give him more, he would ditch the previous one easily, even if that meant indirectly killing people who trusted him wholeheartedly, too distracted by his immature personality and his youthful smile to see the real motives behind his actions.

Once he had caught up his breath, he was brought back to reality by a force around his collar dragging him to sit on the table. His bottom hit the seat on a weird angle, almost causing him to fall on the floor but he balanced himself by gripping the table. Using his time to recover to think carefully about his next words, he took his time making himself comfortable on the seat and straightening the collar of his shirt, regaining his composure. Since the officer didn't fall for his charms, he would approach him differently now, with a serious face even if the fingers on his neck made his shoulders tense once again. "Deal. You go first." He said steadily with a small nod, forcing himself to stare straight at the interrogator to fool him into believing that he was being sincere.
† qian kun 2 years ago
@☩ hwang hyunjin The vampire eyed him carefully, following even the slightest movement. He doesn't exactly know what to think of the human's revelation, though he assumed there must be some greater reason behind it all if the other was so willing to risk life and limb by getting himself involved with infamous criminals. "Must be something more to that, isn't there?" Kun mused, slightly lifting his fingers from the other's throat so he could speak without worrying about the weight of his hand on his neck. "Seems like you're always looking for danger wherever you go. Mind telling me what for?"

Kun inhaled slowly, the subtle scent of blood causing his throat to go dry and his mouth to water. But as hungry as he was, he couldn't kill a man inside the interrogation room. He may have been a tad bit unstable, but he wasn't crazy enough to commit murder with a security title to his name. He had sworn off of it centuries ago, and he was determined to keep it that way. However, there were always some exceptions. And even though he wouldn't go for the kill the same way he did hundreds of years ago, threatening people with his fangs was something he still did quite easily, even if the guilt would hurt him later on.

"I won't rat anything out, if that's what your worried about. I don't look for gossip. But in case you're hesitant," Kun trailed off, stepping back but dragging the human with him by the collar. He led him back to the interrogation table and forced him to sit. Even then, Kun kept a firm grip on him, this time with his fingers resting dangerously close over the most sensitive areas of the human's nape. "If you tell me your secrets, then I'll tell you one of mine. Deal? I suppose it's only fair, isn't it?"

@† qian kun Hyunjin would have never believed before that there would come a time he would actually miss the old man. But in comparison to the current investigator, hell, he preferred Jung all the way, at least he was respectful enough to let him go with just a couple of bruises. Also he had never threatened him with his life which was a huge plus. Only if he could ask for the annoying guard to come back...

The interrogator wasn't wrong, he would certainly do that again. There was no other way to pass his brother past the borders, he needed the money. When his back hit the wall, Hyunjin woke up from his daze, brought back to reality where he was being cornered by a hungry vampire. The thought of death didn't scare him as much as knowing that his brother would have no one to care for him if he was gone. And a petty theft was not even a good enough reason to cost him his life. Under normal circumstances he was a fast thinker, his comebacks always saving his but he found himself frozen under the other's eerie gaze. At the growl, his whole body shivered, shoulders tense as if to hide any access to his neck but the vampire still found his way around his nape. Both hands flew once again to the elder's trying to pull them off him but his whole struggling stopped and his eyes widened at the man's next words.

Had it been anyone else telling him that he had committed murder, Hyunjin would have never believed it. It could be a tactic to intimidate him, get him to confess. However there was something completely wrong with the officer, the deranged look in his eyes just screamed of a criminal. It wasn't difficult for vampires to do it and he had the means to get away with murder, so there was no reason for Hyunjin not to believe him. Due to the shock of his confession he almost didn't feel the nails breaking into his skin. His eyebrows furrowed in pain at they got a bit deeper, his grip around the other's hands getting tighter.

The sight of the fully grown fangs, had him lowering his chin, trying to protect his neck at all costs from a possible attack even if that meant the nails cutting him deeper. Warm blood spilled down his neck, to his collarbone but he still refused to look up, trying to think of a way to get out of there alive. Panicking more wouldn't help him, he had to focus and he was going to do that only if he avoided staring straight at the sadistic interrogator. "I-I have connections..." He muttered hesitantly, as he slid one trembling hand down to grab the end of his shirt slowly, so the officer wouldn't suspect he was reaching for a gun or something. Carefully he lifted the clothing to reveal a dragon tattoo starting at his lower hip bone and the rest disappearing underneath the waistline of his pants. Known in Japan as Irezumi, it symbolized his involvement with the yakuza.

@☩ hwang hyunjin Fear was not something that Kun wanted to see, yet he saw it more often than expected. His sire would be proud of him for this, even if it killed him inside to be praised for something so ill. It was almost pitiful how drastically the other had changed right in front of him, how quickly his mischievousness had disappeared that a part of the vampire's warring morals was admittedly upset at the sudden lack of it. Kun gripped tighter despite the human's struggle, clicking his tongue in disbelief, his impatient grin fading into a darker expression.

He chuckled bitterly, almost manic, ever so slowly cornering the human into the wall like a predator would its prey. "No need to lie to me. It'll happen again once you're out of here, am I right?" Kun hummed with a curious head tilt, thinking the other's fear was simply an act to get him to let go. Regardless of the intention, he wasn't falling for it. "Come on now, why won't you talk back? You were so brave just moments ago, weren't you?" He growled, unable to resist the urge to grab at the other's neck, feeling warmth pulse underneath his fingertips. Kun's eyes had glowed red at the thought, having deprived himself of blood for days. It wouldn't hurt, would it? What was there to be afraid of? He, too, was a man who had nothing to lose.

"You're stuck in a room with a past murderer, little human. And I'm not afraid to become one again. So I'd think about your next words, hm?" Kun leaned in, not close enough to bit, but close enough to see his nails cut through flesh. Though the wound wasn't deep, he had clawed at it enough to draw the slightest drop of blood. As tempting as it was, the vampire did nothing, choosing to let fear mingle with suspense. "You'll be back to your old ways once you leave this room, and we both know it. So instead of fixing something beyond repair, why don't you give me a reason to let it keep living?"

Again, the sadistic grin returns to grace Kun's normally gentle features, fangs fully grown to hunting length. "Surely you have something in that mind of yours that can convince me. Go on then," Kun urged, his tone eerily soft despite the pressure of his nails slowly digging into the other's skin, threatening to draw more than just a few droplets of blood. "Tell me why I should let you leave this room alive."

@† qian kun Hyunjin could tell when his teasing was becoming too much for the officers, especially when they were already pissed with previous matters. Even that old man Jung was hard to deal with some days and his interrogation ended with an angry bruise on his stomach, where it wasn't visible of course. He was no new to violence, the medical wing had become his second home after the security office. Apparently his reputation was enough for the doctors not to give a whether the wounds came from a theft victim or an abusive officer. Not like Hyunjin would snitch on them anyway. Even if he loathed their kind, he'd never allow himself to become a snitch.

By the time he noticed his current interrogator walking closer to him, he attempted to take a few steps back, hands raised on the air as if to prove his innocence before gripping the wrists against his chest as the officer grabbed his shirt. "Not this one, it's my fav." He gulped nervously as he returned the grin in an awkward manner, his eyes focusing on the vampire's fangs and widening momentarily at the sight. "I feel now is the time I should mention that I already had my weekly appointment. Plus I'm anemic. And I bruise easily." He chuckled, biting onto his bottom lips as he tried to came up with various other excuses but his mind was stuck in a fight or flight mode.

"I...I.." He stuttered, his whole demeanor changing at the obvious threat of the vampire's fangs made his face even paler in fear. His sight was getting blurrier as his chest heaved up and down, suddenly feeling like he was out of breath. No one would care if they him dry and just played it off as suicide, they had the means to do as they pleased with humans after all. "Please...I-I won't do it again. "He pleaded helplessly as he tugged at the man's hands on his collar struggling to set himself free.

@☩ hwang hyunjin Kun was met with silence. The officer who stood closest to the door, despite his previous display of such unabashed personality, had become visibly alarmed at the request. At that point, Kun had wondered if throwing all his patience out the window was even worth a sliver of information from a human with a stubborn mouth.

The officers exchanged unsure glances, all of which were directed at Kun before they hesitantly reached for the door and stepped outside. However, they remained close by in case of an emergency, quietly observing from behind the interrogation room's one-way mirror. But judging from their team leader's expression, it seemed they were already being warned not to enter from that point onward.

Kun sighed heavily, mildy exhausted but incredibly irritated. He didn't even bother to use their team's usually subtle means of intimidation anymore, and instead chose to be a little more physical, though it was an act done mostly for himself than anything else. All that pent up frustration had to go somewhere, little by little. If Kun held it in any longer, it would drive him mad eventually. His hand narrowly missed Hyunjin's neck, almost as if it were his first target. But instead, he craned his wrist low enough to grip his shirt, fingers curling carelessly into the fabric. Kun doesn't pull, or at least not yet, but the slight, incessant tugging was an indication that it would only take little to start ticking him off.

He offers the other a toothy grin, though the smile wasn't friendly — fangs almost bared, brimming with impatience. "You're lucky I'm quite forgiving, don't you think?" Kun scoffs, sarcasm bleeding through his voice rather bitterly. "You've got what you wanted. Now speak. I'm not as patient as you think I am."

@† qian kun Hyunjin observed his interrogator closely, his eyes following the man's every move. He was no professional when it came to stealing, he lacked the rubber gloved and various other equipment he could use to hide the proof of his crimes. The reason he still hadn't been caught and only speculations could be made was that he knew how to read his victims. Mostly consisting of needy, well off vampires desperate to get their weekly dose of blood, enjoying every drop with their eyes closed in surrender. Too caught up in the moment to notice any pressure on their pants. This was his only talent, he knew what to expect out of most people he encountered or at least he had been lucky enough up until then to get away with it. Both with his victims and the officers interrogating him, he knew how to handle. But one didn't need to be an expert to notice the man was bothered by the guard's interruption every time. That was a sign that they didn't respect him enough and therefore served as proof to Hyunjin that maybe he wasn't as serious as he liked to seem. Of course his job was to intimidate him but not even his colleagues were bothered by his glaring, so why should he?

He might as well kill two birds with one stop. Get the pretty officer to be alone with him and have his chance to coo his way out of the interrogation while at the same time he took his little revenge at the very annoying guard who was totally getting on his nerves. "Oh fine, fine, fine. You got me. I'll do it. But I have one condition." He sighed in an exaggerated way, acting as if he was completely unbothered by the other's shove and he was meaning to stand up and go towards the guards anyway, so the interrogator merely helped him up. As he swayed closer to the guard, his lips curled up into a smug smirk. Slowly he raised his index finger on the air before pointing it straight in front of the old man's face. "He has to leave."

@☩ hwang hyunjin He had to admit, Hyunjin really was quite the character. It wasn't often that he met troublemakers who lived up to their infamy. While many feared sitting in the same interrogation room as Kun, they were only ever scared of the actual consequences more than they were of him. On the surface, most would assume he wouldn't hurt a fly. And truth be told, he really wouldn't, not unless he was driven to his absolute limit. Though no one could really tell where that silver lining was, it wouldn't take too much effort to cross it on a particularly bad day. Kun's patience was unbelievably thin tonight, and he was already visibly irked despite having barely done anything. Was there even a point in trying to negotiate properly? Surely he couldn't be any worse than the rest if he lashed out too, would he?

With a deep breath, he tries again. Still refusing to let himself be so easily consumed with anger no matter how often it sparked in his chest like a match waiting to catch fire. He ignores the other's words in favor of attempting to get his authority across. Although deep down, he knew a man who had nothing to lose had nothing to fear either.

"Two chances, boy. You really wouldn't want to see him get angry," warned a voice behind them. This time, Kun glared back in response, as a silent way to tell his fellow loud-mouthed officer to shut up. Though he had a point, heaven forbid that anyone witness what he was really like, Kun was aware it did nothing but tempt the other to tease. His nails dug into the underside of the table, hoping he wouldn't get the urge to go for the human's neck. But the longer he stared, the louder the voice in his head got — his sire, ever so invasive, telling him that he shouldn't overlook this kind of disrespect.

"Forget two. You get one chance," Kun warned, shoving the other away with barely any effort, his anger just barely contained by a paper thin veil of self control. "Don't make me tear the answer out of your throat myself."

@† qian kun Pure amusement took over Hyunjin's features curling his lips up into a smug smirk as he witnessed the pretty officers struggling to keep himself calm, his grip tightening around the table. He would have so much fun with this one, he could already tell. It was cute how he really thought he could negotiate with a petty thief like him or even try getting him to cooperate. Unfortunately for his current interrogator, Hyunjin had no weaknesses the man could use as leverage and definitely no moral limitations. Although, he was beginning to rethink his distaste about the taboo kink of men in uniforms now that he finally met the hot stuff of the office. Perhaps he wouldn't find his regular visits there so boring anymore.

"From this day on, I don't think I'll hate it that much though." He muttered in a flirty tone, his tongue poking the inside of his lip piercing as his eyes were pinned on the young officer the whole time, unblinking. Damn, he had heard some rumors about him being a stunner but he would have never imagined the man to be a perfect 10. "You're only giving me a motive not to talk now, you know that right?" He chuckled, buying his time as he made eyes at the good looking officer, completely unbothered by the presence of the guards.

Only when he heard one of them talking, saying something about kindness he used that as a base for his next words. "Indeed. Even though sometimes I do prefer it vanilla, generally speaking I like it rough." He whispered in an exaggerated husky tone, leaning over towards the interrogator's direction and winked at him. "What if I don't?" He raised an eyebrow, intrigued about the other's last warning but obviously not threatened at all as the officer probably intended. "Hyunjin for you. Or even daddy, whatever gets you going." Hearing the officer calling him by his first name only got him more aroused.

@☩ hwang hyunjin Prior to the interrogation being handed to him last minute, Kun had been informed that their culprit had quite the attitude, hence why the rest of the team refused to take the job for themselves. It seemed that no amount of money was ever going to be enough to convince the other officers to sit in the same room as him. Attitude was one thing, but danger was another. As threatening as the other may have looked, Kun didn't really sense much else in him, which led him to believe that maybe he could somewhat pry a proper answer out of him without having to use any force.

So like any other decent interrogator would do, Kun held back the sharpness of his tongue in favor of negotiating. "I hate to be in this room as much as you do. If I were you, I would get this over it," he tried to reason, his voice as calm as it could be despite having a mildly annoyed undertone. "All you need to do is to tell me what you've done, and I'll let you go. You'll be out of here in no time if you cooperate, you know?" Kun didn't even bother shoving the human off of the interrogation desk, gripping the edge of the table in case he would be tempted enough to do so later on. But despite his best efforts to be civil and to not let his anger bleed through his unreadable facade, the other officers always had their own opinions. And although he was usually indifferent to them, Kun doesn't recall ever asking them for it.

"Kindness won't get you any answers," spoke one of the guarding officers, his tone a little too smug for Kun's liking. As easy as it would have been to force answers out of someone, he couldn't afford to get angry. None of the officers have ever witnessed what his fury really looked like, and he preferred it to stay that way. After all, they would never understand what it was like to have so little control over their own body once their instincts have kicked in. If they ever saw him in that state, what would the other officers think of him then?

"I'm not here to play your games, Hwang. You have three chances to give me an answer."

@† qian kun Hyunjin could really do without the officers dragging him around as if he was a serial killer and not just a mere petty thief. Well there were some drug allegations too, but he did whatever he could to survive. And yet they were more willing to play all dominant on him rather than solve a serious case involving true criminals. "Man I'm telling you I'm diagnosed with ADHD and you expect me to stand at attention?" he complained to the officer who was trying to hold him still, in an amused manner despite the unfortunate situation he found himself involved in. He had gotten used to their tactics they would question him a couple of things and he was free to go. There was no way they had any proof against him, he took great pride in his stealing methods. Eventually when he was done having fun messing with their patience he let them drag him to the interrogation room with a mocking pout on his face.
"Hey Kim." he said to the pushy man right before he was about to leave. "Tell your daughter I said hello." He winked playfully at the infuriated man before turning his attention to their boss, quite surprised that it wasn't the usual old creep the one interrogating him. A pleasant surprise for sure, he thought as his eyes scanned the man from head to toe.

"So I got the pretty one this time!" He exclaimed enthusiastically as he rubbed the bruising skin of his arms where the officers held him. "Is mr. Jung on leave or something?" he asked with a raised eyebrow, feigning a friendly tone even though he hoped the er had better resigned. This one seemed far younger and perhaps less experienced than Jung, making it easier for Hyunjin to lie to him. There was an edge to the man but he was probably acting all serious to intimidate others since Hyunjin guessed only a few took him seriously in his job due to his good looks. "I don't know, you tell me." He made a gesture with his chin to point to the vampire as he jumped to sit on the table, resting back on his elbows as he stared around the familiar room in pure boredom.

@☩ hwang hyunjin It was a quarter past ten in the evening when the doors to the security office were suddenly kicked open by a number of noisy officers, seemingly in the middle of trying to subdue a man who refused to stay still. Content with simply getting the troublemaker past the doors, the team slowly dispersed, but not without mumbling a few curses under their breath as they watched the human wander around their desks in search of self-entertainment. Kun eyed the human from across the room, a sigh just about ready to leave his chest at the thought of having to deal with the infamous culprit that the rest of the team could not stop talking about for the past few days, and the past month. At this point, he could have made a home for himself in the security office with how frequently they found him guilty of something, one way or another.

Kun had only met Hyunjin a couple of times, mostly because he was never usually the interrogator, and the thought of having to be one now, caused him to feel uneasy for reasons he could not explain why. As calm as he looked on the surface, Kun's patience was but a thin line, hence why he was never in charge of forcing answers out of anyone, let alone humans. But as he stepped into the cold blankness of the interrogation room, silently gesturing to the other officers to bring the troublemaker in, he knew this conversation would probably last a few hours at best — or perhaps a few minutes, in case they had to stop him from tearing someone's head off before they could even finish questioning. Though Kun preferred not to think of it that way, and hoped his anger could hold out for the entire night. And so he waited, unable to sit, knuckles pressed lightly against the table. Eventually, Hyunjin was ushered inside, his attitude just as arrogant as ever.

"So, what is it this time?"
☩ hwang hyunjin ʰ 2 years ago
@† qian kun Hyunjin was no stranger among the security office staff, his frequent visits leading to him getting to know most of the vampire workers as he waved at them and even made small talk with some either because they had fallen for his charms or because they were suspicious of him for the various stuff his name was mentioned in. However he would always put on an attractive smile on his face whenever he was called in the office, flirting around casually trying to act as if he had no clue about the reason he was there in the first place other than to socialize with the vampires feeling much like a guest star in a series' episode. He was basically mocking them all too openly even for his arrogant nature as he carried himself like he owned the whole facility even though he stood out among the staff for all the wrong reasons including his worn out jeans and baggy sleeveless shirt that came in huge contrast with everyone else's formal attires. And if his rather alternative choice of clothes wasn't enough, his lip piercing and huge skull rings decorating his fingers only added up to his unkempt appearance. He swore he could see several of them frowning if he leaned over and they caught a glimpse of his piercings too, through the loose sleeves of his top. Not knowing where he was supposed to wait, he paced around the office aimlessly, picking random pens and swaying them around his fingers, unable to stay still due to his ADHD.

I was thinking about requesting San and I don't see him on the masterlist so could I, please, request him?
And if I make him a financial donor to the blood farm, are there any specific things he had to do or are there any requirements for financial donors in the world? I'm sorry if it seems like a stupid question. I just want to be sure. ><
