@☨ ashe'vin mont'elle His gaze followed the advancement of the other, raising a brow in response to the cadence in which he spoke. Feigning a gracious kindness though Hongjoong could note the edge it carried. This one seemed different, not so boring as some of the others of his kind and just perplexing enough to keep his interest met. His eyes flitted across the many items now strewn across the table, eyeing the syringe particular in realization that he'd never been stuck before, born before the era of such intervention and a bit uneasy with the concept. Still, he did not hesitate when asked to bare his forearm, casually pushing the fabric of his shirt sleeve up and conintuing to eye the nurse's movement.
The band which constricted his blood flow was only mildly uncomfortable, drawing a furrow of his brow as he eyed the unique syringe only half listening to the tellings of such recent developments among those turned such as himself. It was news to him, something he could not fathom. Poisoning? From the very thing that his kind fed off of. Seemed an absurd truth yet he did not know enough on the subject to objectify. His testimony alone was not indicative of many others thus he nodded in understanding.
"And this is to be a regular thing?" He wondered, watching the tip of the needle as Ashe'vin prepped his skin and remained completely stoic, though when pierced it was not pain which made him turn his eyes but rather the odd violating prick of the cannulated hypo entering his vein. His own blood was a strange smell, not kin on seeing it as it surfaced many unwelcome memories to which he preferred buried.
The proceeding topic of conversation did trigger Hongjoong to tune in, turning again.
" Morality does't exist when life becomes indefinite.." He scoffed, meeting the nurse's smirk with a look of bemusement, noting the way in which this stranger seemed to monitor the flow of his blood into each vial. He assumed such attentive behavior was normal given the line of work, yet somehow he felt that those trained eyes were almost too absorbed, speech long and drawn out in idleness. He seemed captured by that gaze, menacing in intention and yet Hongjoong could not distinguish where or why. He leaned forward and tilted his head in reaction to the soft 'tk', gently tensing his fist and taking the first glace to the second vial of his own blood now nearly filled. "'Certain ones'?" He echoed before inquiring further. " You tease me, what 'ones'?"
@† kim hongjoong So far, Ashe’vin liked them. They matched his attitude well and it was hard even finding that within the large stack of vampires within this facility.
“No one wants to be here, love.” Ashe’vin responded with a smirk at he neared the other. “But sadly, I need to do my job and you have to do as I say.” His sentence ended with this sickly, sweet tone. It was far from innocent, and Ashe’vin was not hiding any of that. Ashe’vin walked over to a counter near him to place his clipboard down on, soon heading over to look through a certain drawer to pull out a few syringes and vials. He then brought out a portable silver table to place all of his instruments in, even grabbing a few alcohol squares to be sterile. Ashe’vin walked up to them again, placing the table adjacent to him.
“Mind rolling up your sleeve for me on your right arm, love?” He asked, absentmindedly organizing the vials in order that he needed to place them. “I know you might be wondering…” He started, unwrapping a needle that was specially made for vampires. It was laced with a very small amount of pure silver to weaken vampires enough to be able to penetrate their skin. “…Why do you have to go through such a troublesome thing. But… there was a recent surge of fledglings starting to get some unknown poisoning, and they were tested on…” He muttered, moving on slipping on a pair of rubber gloves before grabbing a rubber band that he simply began to wrap around the male lower forearm tightly. He then cleaned the area with the alcohol rub. “And it seems that fledglings are becoming intolerant to some blood types. /Poisoning/, really. So, to avoid such things here in this facility, we will be taking samples of your blood for you own good..” He smirked, eyes flickering up at them once the needle was near the skin of ditch of their inner elbow.
“I’ll be taking some of your blood now…” His eyes slowly looked down at what he was doing, pushing the needle in seamlessly. He was good as what he did, and he enjoyed that. He quickly attached one of the vials to the end of the tube from the needle, watching the blood fill the vial rather quickly. “Huh… very healthy flow of blood. Some vampires have rather slow flows due to their lack of feeding…” He scoffed. “Never understood why they spare humans the way that some do…” In all honestly, some of this small talk was to distract him from the potent smell of their blood. It made his mouth water, and he wanted to act out on instinct, but maybe not…
He started to fill another vial. “I would never stop feeding just to gain morality. We live too long to care about such a thing…” He smirked, slowly looking up at them with an open mouthed smirk. He clicked the roof of his mouth with his tongue, fangs peeking out slightly. “Even if I should’t be messing with certain ones…” More of an inside thing to himself. Their blood was making him act out, and he wasn’t sure if he was going to be able to keep himself in check this time around.
@☩ lee hyunwoo "I try not to woo every human I treat. Although you are the first with such injuries I must admit. ...may I ask why?"
Junho had hadn't thought someone would take his interest in humans in such a way. Were he not himself then he may have taken offense to the question. But this moment was a moment of clarity for the vampire. He gathered himself flashing a smile that made his eyes crinkle and smile as well.
"I am almost thousand years old. I did not understand what I was for the first forty years then after that I could not find others like myself. Therefore I loved humans. Yes there were some that fed me... Some I attacked to avoid feeding on the ones I loved... Ultimately I was around humans for enough of my life that it became bothersome to worry about my own kind. Humans have always been my first loves... Always and forever."
As a he spoke the final two words, his voice sounded odd. Almost dreamy.
@☨ lee junho Hyunwoo did not flinch nor did he express a direct reaction to the touch of the vampires cheek. He did not pull away and instead watched him with interest. Did this vampire often woo the attention of the human's he treated? He watched him carefully, forgetting the infiltration of his thoughts for a moment while he questioned the nature of his intentions. A human-loving vampire. How strange
The kiss to his cheek was almost met with indifference, Hyunwoo did not seem to exploit this information as he would assume some humans would. Instead he found himself wracked with further questions. Some of which he parted his lips to inquire.
" Why? " He asked aloud rather than in his mind. " Is it to feed without an ill conscious?"
@☨ ashe'vin mont'elle Hongjoong sat posted up on the edge of the examination bed within the small room he had been ushered into only minutes prior, legs crossed informally and arms folded against his chest. His silver hair brushed against the tops of his shoulder with every movement and he reminded himself of the need to trim once he was finished with this tedious visit. He was here for nothing more than a compatibility check up, something unheard of in his past as he has indulged on whoever was within reach. He'd lived a long life of recklessness and disregard for life, Whether it be his own or that of a lowly and misfortunate human. He'd never had the time to stop and think of such repercussions until his residence at the facility grounds where everything seemed to be regulated and strict. It was suffocating to say the least but it kept his sanity in check.
The past few decades had been a blur of Hongjoong's lack of inhibitions and control, his lack of a sire and the circumstances of his turning leaving him a violent, mischievous shell who simply functioned through instinct. He indulged in his hunger far more than necessary and wreaked havoc across the honam region of his mother country until found and recruited for the sake of his own preservation.
Because of such history he remained skeptical of such compatibility errors, still the facility heads insisted. He had been there a short few months and had never been seen, nor did he believe he needed to. Yet, here he was...
Footsteps alerted Hongjoong to the approaching figure long before the handle of the door began to turn. He did not adjust his position, eyes watching as it swung open to reveal the visage of someone who piqued his interest if only for a brief moment. What a handsome being, chunks of white framing his face though clear that dark tendrils gathered along the back of his neck. His complexion clear, skin light and features handsome. Something about the way he carried himself and addressed Hongjoong with his eyes making him sit up a bit straighter. He raised a brow when the door was locked.
'Odd practice.'.
Through his hypervigilance it was obvious this vampire was scrutinizing him where he sat, so Hongjoong remained unmoving as to allow him to look all he wanted. Something was off about the air in which he stood, and though Hongjoong could typically sense and alter the feelings of others, the palpable emotion dancing across the room was indecipherable.
The ways in which this vampire addressed him were clearly suggestive, were they not? Was it egotistical to assume the raking gaze and prodding question were geared in a headier direction. It made the corner of Hongjoong's lips raise in a cheeky smile. " I'm not sure, does it seem like I need further evaluation?" He questioned, his tone laced with humor and sarcasm. He uncrossed his arms in order to lean back on his palms, tilting his head and eyeing the other in his standing. "I hardly want to be here, but seems I have no choice. Is it worth my while?"
@☩ lee hyunwoo Junho grabs the human's hand bringing it to his cheek. If the human asked then he could always blame in on how long it'd been since anyone touched him for anything outside of work.
"The heightened senses of a vampire help a bit when it comes to that. Unlike your attacker I welcome human touch. Do not worry."
As if to illustrate his point Junho leans forward kissing the human's cheek. As it stood he was too afraid to traumatize the poor boy to ask for more than that. If the human wanted more than he could ask or touch him for more given he did just announce to him that all humans were allowed to touch him.
@† kim hongjoong Ashe’vin sighed out into the air once his last patient left the room. The tapping of his pin against the clip board filled the air and many things were rushing through his head. He cannot believe he allowed this job to get to him the way it had. There were so many vampires that had intolerances to certain blood types, and they were mostly, if not /all/, fledglings. It made his eyes roll from pure annoyance. Fledglings were prone to far more problems than Purebloods like him ever would, and they ignore every sign thinking they could just live life the way they were. But they don’t know that slow poisoning to their ‘artificial’ vampiric body could happen by intaking certain blood types that do not agree with their genetic make up. A strange side-effect, but one that could end the immortal life span of a vampire.
Now, he needed to go into another room for his next patient. A simple check up, just to see if they needed a change in blood types as well. “Kim Hongjoong…” The male softly mused. A fledgling as well. “About 150 years of living… Groundskeeper…” His words dragged on into a halt and so did his feet. Thankfully, no one were in the hall way to see him just stop so abruptly. But… something hit his senses. A scent, a /beautiful/ scent. And it were not human. His head slowly tilted to the right side, He continued to walk to his destination, and the closer he got, then stronger the scent. If this was the cause of his next patient…
Standing at the door, he decided to pull his hair up into a ponytail, finding the scent making his entire body feel a little sensitive, so his hair brushing his neck was a little distracting, his chunk of blonde at the front falling from the hold of his hair tie. Ashe’vin lightly knocked on the door. Room 205. After a second, he grasped the handle and turned it, and walked inside the room.
“Hello..” Ashe’vin greeted softly, turning to close the door behind him and making sure it was locked as he preferred his privacy, only ever doing this if there was no other nurse or doctor needed. He then faced them, a little smile rising on his lips. Easy on the eyes, Ashe’vin noted. “My name is Ashe’vin Mont’elle, and I will be the nurse taking care of you today.” It was a little hard to focus on the task at hand. That scent was filling his senses and… it’d been awhile since he smelled a vampire so potently. As far as he’d known, he’d rid of most fledglings smelling so well like this. The vampire looked down at his clip board, lowering it from his chest to write down a few things before taking a few steps closer to the patient that were sitting on the bed. “Regular check up today, right?” He asked, wondering if they needed anything else than this simple thing. “I just want to make sure if you…” He looked down at them, silver eyes trailing back up to get a full eye of them. Ashe’vin couldn’t help it. He liked what he liked. “…needed anything more than just a check up this morning.”
@† choi san jimin got on her feet with the help of the stranger. she pouted a little feeling disgusting and kept looking behind her. scared the rogue crazy vampire would come to find her. and being covered in blood wouldn't help.
"not...r-really.." she mumbled back. Jimin eyed the stranger as he talked and blinked at a staff member and saw the small bows they exchanged. he must be...a vampire too. she was kinda surprised he stayed so calm with all the blood around.
she eyed the man and nodded slowly 'some.. hmm... vampire suddenly came after me and well i ran... i'm still so sorry about this... its such a waste of blood. that what humans gave and i destroyed it...." she tried to get rid of some of the blood in her face but only smudged it out more covering her whole cheeks.
she smiled a little as the staff arrived giving her a towel. "still so sorry sir.."
@☨ lee junho Human? What an odd one this vampire seemed to be. He had not heard of many of this kind who favored humans in such a way. Most were viewed as livestock, disposable, replicable. How could someone of Junho's kind allow such feelings to cultivate which could only end in heartbreak as a human's life was so fleeting.
"I insist."
Given the other's response to his question, he figured it was not often that such benign interest was portrayed regarding his mutilation. Thus, the human was glad when he had decided to answer despite his expression of incredulity. "And your depth perception?" He followed up with aloud. Leaning forth and yearning to touch the curve of his cheekbone. He maintained his manners though and merely looked.
@✠ yoo jimin San wasn't usually the type to get upset and he couldn't say that was how he felt at that moment. It was hard to explain. Thankfully, the blood hadn't really gotten on him. Who knows what all of it would do at one time? He did reach a hand out to help the human up, very aware of the strong sense of fear rolling off of her. He glanced up, wondering just where it was that she was looking and what she was looking for.
"It's fine. I'll just have to get some more and find someone to clean this mess up," he stated calmly, still quite agitated though as he would have preferred to be on his way home already. "Are you okay," he asked in a low voice, glancing around for a possible janitor or someone nearby that could help. Thankfully, someone from the staff was now passing by and asked what happened. After San had explained, they exchanged brief head bows and the staff member went off to fetch him more blood bags as well as someone that could clean everything up.
"Was there something you were running from just now," San asked the stranger, trying to find some reason to quell his irritation and calm himself.
@† choi san Jimin wasn't familiar yet with the bloodfarm facility as she just had arrived a few days ago. But being the curious hunter she was she went to explore around. Maybe she could find weak spots to report back. You never know.
Only sad part was that she could get lost. And that's what happend. Lost in one of the many hallways. She sworn she been here before. All was that door new. She sighs looking around more.
Suddenly she heard a growl behind her. And one angry looking vampire suddenly behind her. Jimin turned around eyeing the vampire and backed away a bit "hmm.. sir... I hm... sorry?" She mumbled. She really wasn't I the mood to fight and this vampire seemed strong. Her hunter instincts could tell her if she should fight or flight. And this was a definite run away kind of situation.
She slamed the door into the vampires face and started to run.
She again past many hallways until she came to a adrubt hold as eh run past a corner and ran into something. Or someone. Her body hit the person with a small suprised yell. she fall down on her and felt plastic bags fall ontop of her and around her. Blood spurting out of the bags covering her and the floor. Oh this was great. A vampire was after her and now she was covered in blood. The smell was even so strong that even her human nose could smell it strongly she coughed and looked up at the other person
She slowly stood up almost slipping in the blood. She looked behind her scared the vampire would come in soon 's-sorry hmm... I huh... im so sorry but hmm..."
@☩ lee hyunwoo "Ah. Right. I forget not many know me around here. I've only had human lovers." Junho pauses seeing the other wince. He searched his mind to see if he was fine. "If you insist that you're well then I cannot risk pressing you about it further."
Junho blinks as the human suddenly became very interested in his empty eye socket. He didn't know what to do. No one had been this bold towards his missing eye in a long time. Junho shook his head. There was no pain anymore. There had been pain before but enough time had passed since then that he didn't feel pain anymore. This human was an odd one for sure.
@☨ lee junho Hyunwoo tilted his head curiously, distracted from the task at hand for a moment in order to echo, "Lovers? " He was curious, eager for the vampire to elaborate but not one to ask such questions given his current ciscumstances. The human winced, expecting pain though pleasantly surprised at the warmth which radiated through his skin. Instead he sighed, humming in content and leaning into the contact which relieved him of his pain.
He considered the vampires offer but politely shook his head in declination.
"No, thats alright. The residual will heal on its own." He insisted, covering himself up and looking at the campire's features curiously. Even with such a altered appearance, he was handsome. Enough for Hyunwoo to eye him without regard. He soon reach forth to brush the hair from his forehead and lean closer to look at the space in which an eye once resided. " Does it ever hurt now?"
@☩ lee hyunwoo "I've gotten to live longer than most of my family and became the famous doctor that my father wanted me to be. The only thing this has cost me is lovers. I say that's a fair trade-off. Unless you're speaking of the muscle head who did this?"
Junho frowns at the sight of the bruises gently placing his hand over the bruises. His power drain what little strength he did have but he couldn't stop just yet. He had to keep going. Junho had to get the human healed up. The cold hands slid across the human's skin as delicately as he could manage to leave a trail of warmth from his powers. The bruises slowly fading then Junho heard him speak. His heart beating faster but he knew the human wouldn't be able to hear. With care, Junho eases him to his side trying to heal as much as he could without risking upsetting him or exposing him.
"I can place up a curtain and have you look over your body to see if anything else hurts or if you more attention in areas if you like. As I said I don't have to look at the areas if I know the spot."
@☨ lee junho there was a soft sigh of relief at the warmth that radiated through his skin, easing the tense muscles which were pulled taught from wear and causing the overall aching sensation throughout his body.
"Just goes to show it doesn't pay to help some people, huh?" Hyunwoo said in mild apathy. He hesitated when asked to elaborate on his bodies injuries, using his hand to rub at his waist. After a few moments he liften the fabric of his shirt to reveal the bouquet of purple and blue which painted his hips in color. Some resembled hand marks where the vampire's fingers had grasped at his violently. He then cleared his throat before looking away. "My.../there/ as well." He said, illuding to his assault and referring to his rear.
@☩ lee hyunwoo Junho gently eases a hand under the human. His hand heats up as he uses his powers to help his back. The older man trying to be gentle because of his injuries and what he was.
"I treated a freshly turned vampire. He attacked me pretty bad then turned me. I couldn't exactly heal an eye plucked clear out of my head." Junho chuckles softly at the thought. "What other injuries do you have? I need to fully heal you so I can praise you properly."
Junho flashes a soft smile before reaching out brush hair out of his face. He did his best to skim through the thoughts of the other man wanting to be kind and not outright scan it. He just needed to know what to heal and which vampire to teach a lesson later.
@☨ lee junho Hyunwoo noted the expression made when his inner thoughts made such a demand and he confirmed his suspicion. This man could hear him despite his silence and this urked him to no end. He felt invaded, vulnerable and that knwoeldge made him extremely uncomfrtable. He had hoped to never run into a vampire with such an ability and yet here he was in the presence of one whom he needed help from.
The human was well passed caring about his wellbeing, allowing himself to be lifted without protest and hissing in pain as he was placed down on the piece of furniture. It was not that it was too hard but rather the pressure against his body, specifically his back, caused it to ache in objection to this postiion.
As Junho rambled, in Hyunwoo's perception, he tuned the other out and opted to replay the act in which sent him here. His injuries in these memories were clear as day and he was at least grateful that he did not have to verbalize such details for the doctor to hear and see them. When he began to answer the questions in which Hyunwoo had impulsively conjured in his mind, only then did he listen. Interes piqued and considering his explanation. "I guess so.." He began, now openly looking at the space in which he eye had once been centuries ago. "How did you lose it?"
@☩ lee hyunwoo Junho froze as the human seemed to catch on quicker than most did. However, most humans were distracted by the eyepatch or the hole rather than his ability. With a curse in Japanese Junho was instantly beside the human scooping him into his arms leaving enough room for the other man to leave his grip should he be tired of being touched at any time. Junho set him down as gently as he could on a nearby couch. He hoped the soft surface wouldn't aggravate the human's injuries.
"I'll bother you till you say red."
Junho regret the flirty comment the moment it left his mouth. He was supposed to heal first then flirt like he was gonna die any second.
"I need to know where it hurts or at least sees where it hurts. My power works best if I know or see. I'll have you healed up and ready to watch me kick the of the guy who did this. If it's a woman then I'm very sorry but I only hit men. I can seduce her for you but... a guy like you doesn't need my help."
Junho smiles nothing about his behavior evil or dubious, maybe clueless but nothing malicious. He didn't want to risk forcing the human to expose himself or expose this human himself. Junho had to wait to be told or given permission.
"...the nerves and everything connected were taken. Since I was turned right after I'm not sure how well it will hold up. Although it's been almost two thousand years and it's fine." Junho flashes the human a smile, the smile making his eyes disappear to eye smiles. "The lid is still intact so that bodes well don't you think?"
@☨ lee junho Hyunwoo paused in realization when it had occurred to him that he had said nothing. Yet somehow this vampire knew preemptively of his situation. This did not bode well with Hyunwoo, and for a brief moment he stared at the stranger intently.
'Stop.'
His internal thought was firm, cautious and guarded. He knew of such abilities amongst the vampires but he had yet to meet one so forthcoming in his acknowledgement. It disturbed him to think hi thoughts were not of his own, and he chose to fill his mind with the perception in which he viewed the male. He had not yet realized he had been asked a question, attempting to step forward and making it approximately 3 feet before he faltered. He had yet to realize the small trickle of blood staining the inner fabric of his jeans, torn and battered.
"Don't bother." hyunwoo mumbled regarding the other's fruitless reassurance of concealing his disfigurement. It did not bother the human in the slightest. In fact he appreciated the candid appearance, knowing that most would shy away in disgust while Hyunwoo looked on in mild awe. The instinctive and imppulsive questions flooding his mind on it's origin, questioning the integrity of it's socket and curious to his field of vision. None of these uestions were appropiate however, and while he would typically keep such inquiries to himself he knew the instant they appeared within his mind it was as though he had asked them all aloud.
@☩ lee hyunwoo Junho blinked as he wasn't used to humans being open to touching him unless it was a romantic setting. His brow furrows as he looks the human over more directly. This mind...
"One of my kind attacked you? What do you mean? May... may I carry you? I'll set you in the chair over there."
Junho made sure that the chair in question was clearly visible. He didn't want the human to think the worse of him. Not that it seemed to be a high bar as his thoughts revealed to him. It wasn't a stretch to say that Junho would be visiting whoever the one in question was for a quiet little chat. He waited to see if the human would allow him to move him. Junho would not make him walk in such a state.
"My name is Lee Junho. Don't feel you have to call me Doctor Lee. Junho is fine as well. Once I have you situated then I'll place my eye patch back on. Please do not worry about staring."
That was a lie but it didn't matter. This human needs his care now and using his powers would require him to feed some time soon.
@☨ lee junho The few seconds it took for the door to budge were enough for hyunwoo to question whether or not he should knock again. With his fist raised, he'd prepared to make contact with the wooden door once more when suddenly it began to swing open. He lowered his hand, peering up at the strange man who stoon before him in greeting. He allowed his eyes to glaze over what they could. Noting his somewhat odd positioning of his head, the way it craned to one side as though with intention. Beneath the curtain of his hair he saw darkness, a homogenous expanse where ones eye should be, he was unsure if he was seeing things correctly. It did not frighten him but rather he scrutinized the other for the few seconds he could before asked whether or not he needed assistance. He blinked, momentarily forgetting his purpose there but as he was offered the cane and the vampire explained the potential aversion to his touch, Hyunwoo waved away the apparatus and extended a hand to grasp at the stranger's arm. He was well past the point of being concerned over touching one of his kind, and the cane would do nothing in supporting him when the entirety of his lower half had become unsteady. His actions seemed bold, unbothered and indifferent. Once able to lessen the load on his unsteady legs with the bit of support offered, he worried his legs would give out as his knees gave for a moment and his body staggered. He hissed softly, face contorting once more into an expression of agony as the pain traveled once more through his lower back and abdomen.
@☩ lee hyunwoo The feeling of writing with an actual pen was always the best. He glances up feeling thoughts coming closer. Junho's brow furrows as he listens to the thoughts growing louder as the owner of the thoughts no doubt went down the hall. He leans back in his chair tossing the pen on the desk. These thoughts were so conflicted, just what had happened to this poor soul. A knock shook him from the thoughts. Junho eases himself into a standing position preparing to let the person in when he caught the scent. Human. No doubt someone did something silly. He went to the door slowly keeping everything human pace as much as he could. Tilting his head to one side always helping hide the empty socket from view. The sight of the human at his door made him frown.
"Do you need help coming in? Can you walk on your own?"
Junho gave up keeping things slow grabbing his personal cane from behind his desk hoping that would help this man walk. He knew some of the humans here would be opposed to a vampire such as himself touching them.
"Here use this. I can offer my hand but I'm sure you'd prefer this."
@☨ lee junho Every ounce of hhyunwoo wished to bury himself into his bed and sleep away the ache within his muscles. The expanse just above his hips cried in protest with every step as the human kept his right hand trailed along the cold tile wall of the hallways leading towards where he had been previously directed. It took approximately 30 minutes for him to make his way there, battered and weak from the assault on his person prior. His face contorted in a wince, free hand clutched at his side and breath shallow as to not expand his diaphragm to its limit. His back was sore, knees scrapped from the impact on the concrete. What a twisted turn of events he had caught himself in, all at the hands of his own lack of limitations. Once he arrived at his destination, he gave a tentative knock to the wooden door despite the knowledge it would be unlocked and he would be expected.
@☩ jeon somi "Haaa?" Jaehyun gritted his teeth, squeezing her jaw with controlled restraint because as much as he wanted to show Somi her place, he had not given up on her yet, not when she was the perfect blood bag he raised with so much care.
"Calmdown.Calmdown.Calmdown.Calmdown…." Jaehyun's eyes were closed for the moment, his voice rough and hushed, and the wooden handle of the knife in his other hand shattered, the blade fell to the ground with a loud clang, earning startled gasps from the guards stand by.
They were taught to care for the humans — and if they didn't care, they strictly refrained from mindless killing of humans.
"Jeong, you should—" the guard approached, ready to manhandle Jaehyun.
Jaehyun growled, shaking head, "I'm fine. I need to deal with this astrayed pet of mine. It seems she had too much freedom and lost her silly head."
And a laughter bubbled out of him. The guards followed after.
"Right. She's a silly creature. What was I even getting so worked up for?" Jaehyun finally opened his eyes, no sign of anger present in them but two bottomless pools of black, indifferent as they always used to be.
He released her jaw, clicked his tongue, nose scrunched, "Aiya, look at you, silly. So pathetic and stupid. I never heard humans losing the ability to think at the," a brief pause and he exclaimed, "at the tender age of twenty something."
"You guys can leave. I will handle her. Can't have my sweet little pig tasting like ." He nudged her legs, plopped himself by her feet, a leg thrown over the other.
"Somi, who do you think I'm? I mean, beside the blood er tag, who am I? Do I work in medical care? Or look after the register? My job is to cook for humans. Now, why would I, whose job is to cook, would be aware of what happens to the tenants? And, your grandfather? I couldn't even drop a drop of blood even if I ripped off his neck. Which never happened. No one in the facility is mildly interested in a sack of old bones. And that leaves me to assume, he left on his own volition. Fled. Ran away."
@† jeong jaehyun She struggled against her binds, almost propping herself up on her elbows, and she looks up in time to see a sight she had never seen before. The doors fly open with a startling BANG! For the first time in the two years that she’s lived in this pig pen, Somi saw /him/ disheveled as he burst in from those door. How many times has she thrown fits, made a scene, or let her top blow, and he would stay so calm— as if mocking her mortality. Jaehyun was a stone cold killer, Somi had assumed.
The way rage carved itself into his porcelain features, sending ripples across his typically calm waters—for the briefest second, as the breeze of the doors sent careening into the walls washed over her, Somi felt the doom of being killed pressed against her body. The weight of it kept her in place, even as she tried to turn away from his hold on her chin, and she felt scared.
This was Jaehyun: a predator. A villain. An animal. *A leech.*
But his words ignited her own rage and she almost bites her cheek as head head snaps to him. Rage she had felt from Day 1 at the facility, rage she had felt since he started feeding her all this bull crap, rage she didn’t even know she had set her whole being ablaze and Somi hissed to his face.
“You ing did it— You took him away didn’t you? He’s been gone, Jaehyun, he’s OLD! HE NEEDS HELP! WHERE IS HE?” Whether it was petulance or some kind of bravery that took over, all Somi could think about was the fact that her Grandpa had been missing for twelve hours now, gone since lunch and undetected. Even Gran wasn’t able to tell where he had gone… and it was only a matter of time till one of these vampires saw him as an easy snack. “WHO TOOK HIM? WHY WON’T YOU S- DO- SOMETHING?!!” Somi fights his hold, angry hot tears welling up at the corners of her eyes.
@☩ jeon somi His mother said that nothing lasts for forever — good or bad, they come one after the other. Jaehyun should have realised the way things had been going for him would come to an end. Maybe that would have prepared him to handle the current situation in a calm, composed, and rational manner instead of rushing out of the main kitchen with a butcher's knife.
Jaehyun failed to grasp where he went wrong. Why humans are so ing hard to understand? They would always create problem and then whine about it.
Jaehyun believes humans have more narcissism to them than they realise.
Certainly his human did aot.
"I'm sorry." He informed the higher up, his friend, how terribly apologetic he was.
"Better fix this quick, Jaehyun. She is a bad influence to the rest."
Jaehyun nodded, fists clenched and fangs digging into his lips. He did not care that he wounded himself, his mouth as red as his focused eyes.
"What the , Somi?" Jaehyun stormed into her personal space, jaw clenched and disarrayed bangs fell over his forehead.
Jaehyun usually treated his feeds with care and respect and gentleness yet the moment he saw her, bound, and still spouting nonsense, he lost it. He reached for her face, grabbed her face with his thumb and index and made her look up at him. He was trying his damned best to stay calm.
Stay calm. Stay call…..

"You do realise if it weren't for you bring my gunie pig, you'd be thrown outside the farm. Weak and pathetica. And why would I ever touch your deadbeat grandfather?"
@† jeong jaehyun The burn of waking tingled the reddened rims of her eyes. Without a mirror in sight, Somi went without knowing the full extent of the damage--her skin was nearly translucent and she looked like a husk of her former self. Seventeen years old, and Somi had already dedicated her flimsy life to a beast in place of her grandparents.
At the time, it felt valiant. And for a time it was. Her original outburst in the cafeteria had granted her a ed sense of peace that otherwise wouldn't be there. The food for her was always horrendous, and often she would spend long nights where her stomach wanted to turn itself inside out.
But when Gran would come back from meal times with a smile--albeit tense from whatever altercation her Grandpa had gotten into that day--Somi knew she had done her part.
Besides... every set of terrible meals came with the euphoria of being fed on--and Somi doesn't remember exactly when she started to *know* that feedings were enjoyable. In the beginning, for the first two-ish years, she would forget what happened in each appointment, only remembering the moment that his hold closed in on her and her hand would grip his arm--her one tether as she slipped under. Like clockwork, she always woke up from direct feeding appointments to her own ceiling. Somi would be in her bed, dutifully bandaged and no longer subjected to nights in the clinic--at this point, it was ritual. For all his insanity, Jaehyun drove a fair bargain: he feeds, but he ensures she is taken care of.
Not all was this peaceful, though. Two and a half years into Jaehyun's sick experiment, when Somi refused to eat, instead starving herself and receding from forcefeeding attempts--even spitting.
"WHERE IS HE? TELL ME!" Her shrieks spilled into the linoleum hallways as she spat in her hysteria. "TELL ME WHERE THAT BASTARD IS," she kicks and scrambles from the guards hold before being swept up, and sequestered in the medical ward, the only place where she could be bound to a bed and kept in place long enough to reason.
"Bring that ER to me, if he DARE touch one hair on Grandpa's head I will end him-- JAEHYUN!"
[] Somi thinks jaehyun killed her grandpa hehe details coming.
@† kim taeyeon Jisoo shuddered at the doctor's words. Jisun never told her about what kind of vampire chased her to the point she was forced to leave the house to protect the family. But based on what she just heard earlier... probably it was... rogue?
"Well, hopefully, I will never bump into one." She forced a smile. Her face turned pale quick.
She rubbed her hands while nodding once. "Yes, I've tried my best to eat three times a day."
But to be very honest, she never really care about her meal portion. How can you eat peacefully when you know you are surrounded by vampires?
@☩ kim jisoo Erika broke into a radiant smile, nodding along, "Of course including me. Usually the sane ones do. You know how dangerous rouges can be."
As soon as she said that, Erika took a quick glance at Jisoo's face and wondered if she should have kept quiet about the topic. It's an habit — she speaks her mind and would rather not sugar coat things. And Jisoo didn't seem like the person who would initiate any contact with vampires in hopes of something. Erika would want to witness such a pretty face ruined. She was glad she could focus on other topic.
"Oh... my apologies. I lost all my descendants too and it still hurts. Are you taking care of your meals properly?"
Can I ask two questions?
I was thinking about requesting San and I don't see him on the masterlist so could I, please, request him?
And if I make him a financial donor to the blood farm, are there any specific things he had to do or are there any requirements for financial donors in the world? I'm sorry if it seems like a stupid question. I just want to be sure. ><
