@✠ yoo jimin Hoseok had a feeling if he sat there long enough another human would come up here. He really didn't understand why they were so interested in this roof top. He'd met two up here. And judging by the scent getting stronger he'd now met three up here. He turns slightly to look over the person. His head falling forward as he sees it's a woman. That brought Scarlett up in his mind making him flutter with mixed emotions.
"Hey kid you can't be up here. It's why there was a sign up."
Hoseok gets up from his spot on the ground to stand his full height hoping that the height plus the muscles would help sell the point of scaring her away.
@† sabine For once Dongwook wasn't wearing his usual robes. Instead he was rather dressed down, a black dress shirt and black pants; he still wore his clerical collar, making his position within the Blood Farm known, but it was obvious that he considered himself "off the clock" right now, so to speak. He was headed to the rooftop for no true reason. A feeling he supposed, or a desire to view the spacious facility grounds from somewhere higher up. He had taken to wandering these days like he always had in his free time in the past. Searching high and low for new places, new faces.
He honestly hadn't been expecting anyone to be present on the rooftop when he pushed the door open with a creak. Upon stepping out of the stairwell and into the late afternoon sunlight he found his eyes drifting across the concrete landscape. And there, several meters away, was a head of familiar bright red hair, flickering like flames in the sun. A smile delighted itself across his lips as the priest recognized her face, turned just enough that he could make out her features. He was not sure yet if she noticed his presence, and so he endeavored to make himself known as he took strides across the rooftop toward her.
"Sabine," he said, deep voice colored by satisfaction at their unexpected meeting. "It's been quite awhile. I didn't expect to find you here."
@☨ lee hoseok Jimin had been wandering around. exploring the facility was something she liked to do. she even made some friends. some humans. there was even this guy that was next to her dorm that was really nice. sadly he got hurt and it angered the hunter. but she didn't let it get to her. yet.
she came by a door leading to the rooftop. curiously she moved onto the place. she smiles as the wind hit her face. she sometimes really did miss the city. she looked up and saw a gate. one that seemed where she wasn't allowed to go. but her curiosity got the best of it and maybe there is something she could report back at the hunters.
she peeked in and walked onto the side that said keep out.
@✠ kang seulgi Sometimes this facility feels much too large. Dohyun is good at his job and he prides himself on that fact; he makes sure to work down to the smallest details, and that includes ensuring that every nook and cranny of the Blood Farm is up to inspection. Hence the feeling that if they didn't need so much space, he'd wish the whole thing was slightly smaller. As a vampire it's no trouble for him to walk through each and every hall, room and section of the Blood Farm. The annoyance is how much time it takes out of his day that he could spend taking care of other important matters.
But Dohyun knows how crucial these rounds can be. More than once has he discovered a vampire doing something they shouldn't, or a human getting up to trouble. He's even discovered the occasional hunter or rogue vampire intending some serious harm, not expecting to be caught by the Head of Operations wherever they had been found hiding.
So Dohyun sticks with the routine.
It's near the tailend of his inspection that he finds himself taking the stairs up to the rooftop of the facility. While the rooftop is technically open to both humans and vampires, it is oftentimes empty whenever he manages to come around. Today, however, it is obvious that there is someone here. The smell of fresh blood is apparent as soon as Dohyun opens the door that leads to the open space atop the entire building. It creaks shut behind him as he looks around the roof. The scent is strongest from the far left corner, and he begins to make his way over to that spot.
His assumption is that a vampire has fed from a donor outside of normal donation hours and simply left the human here. It's unfortunately common in any Blood Farm facility. When he rounds the wall of another stairwell however, what he finds is not an unconscious donor with bite marks in her neck or thigh, but a very much conscious donor whose blood is dripping onto the concrete from a wound on her hand.
"You're hurt," Dohyun states matter-of-factly, not bothering to introduce himself as he nears the human and kneels in front of her. Bleeding injuries, especially fresh ones, are an issue that must be dealt with as soon as possible. Dohyun wishes that he could say no donor would have to worry about being attacked for bleeding within the facility, but there are always outliers, always one or two vampires who can't control themselves, so he would be lying if he did. He looks up at the donor, making eye contact. "This will need to be seen to by the medical staff, but the bleeding..." He glances to her hand again, wrapping loose fingers around her wrist to turn her palm towards him. "The bleeding needs to be stopped. May I?"
@☩ odessa Her eyes lit up while curved into a smile. The pale skin she has looks very alluring when kissed by sunlight. Jisun always called her sister 'little angel' back then. No one would oppose that because sometimes Jisoo looked like a literal angel. Just like now.
The silence is now broken by Jisoo's chortle upon hearing Odessa's remark. "It is worth it." She put emphasis on the 'is' word. Though she didn't have any appetite at the moment, she took the sandwich. For the sake of politeness and looking for a possible ally.
"At least I have food now." The female shook the sandwich in her hand in a comical way. As if she was a kid who was really happy to get a bunch of chocolates. "Odessa, a pretty name." Jisoo left a remark while glancing at the other. "And that's explained why I never see you here." The human nodded several times. She knew almost everyone in the facility. Well, she tried her best to get along with them all. Again, for the sake of her safety. She has to be everyone's friend. Her chocolate iris focused on her interlocutor. "You need to start getting out of your room, looking for a friend. Not everyone in here is bad, you know." She ended her sentence with a shrug. "I've been here for two months now while back then, I used to live on a farm, dealing with cattle and horses. Funny how I took their place."
@☩ kim jisoo Odessa caught sight of that empty expression turning warm, almost as if it was second nature to Jisoo and she pulled down a veil to shield herself...She was impressed. Not many had that control over their facial expressions after all. She made no mention of it.
Instead, Odessa placed a hand on her cheek and fanned herself with the last of her sandwich bite. "I do declare, you're waiting has been worth it" She plopped the last bite of her sandwich half and after a moment of thought offered Jisoo the other half. "It's turkey and pepper jack" She said, smiling as she noted the other had no new marks of the day, not visible at least.
"It's better to have something in your stomach before you go in" She would let her take it if she wanted it and if not she would put it away. "It's nice to formally meet you, Jisoo. My name is Odessa" At the question about her being new, she smiled. "I've been here about a month, but I kept mostly to myself" She made a circle with her fingers, as if referring to the whole facility. "It's a little hard to get used to this place....A little lonely, don't you think?" Lonely...God, she could feel it. Her hand trailed up to the necklace tucked under her shirt, rubbing it over her fabric as she thought about her wife. It didn't last long, not wanting to dwell on it right this moment. "How about you? How long have you been here? Where are you from, honey bee?"
@† lim donghyun To say that the Blood Farm facility is suffocating is an understatement, if Seulgi has a say on it.
It always feels as if her every action will be watched one way or another, even if she knows that she has the ability to be as stealthy as much as she wants to, to stay hidden for as long as she doesn't bleed. Perhaps she is no longer used to needing to live with others, or being around crowds in general—she has lived a rather solitary life, after all, away even from humans. One can never know who to trust nowadays, especially as life tends to be... a little desperate outside these facilities. It's a stark difference to what Seulgi has grown used to (the need to fight to survive, the constant necessity of staying hidden and choosing her own battles well), but she supposes, at the end of the day, there is still one thing that remains the same.
Humans are still the preys. They just made it seem... prettier inside these damned facilites.
The rooftop is her first choice when it comes to hiding from the rest of the world. Here, she can do whatever she wants without the prying eyes (or noses?) of both vampires and humans alike. Here, she doesn't have to pretend as if she doesn't get the urge to simply burn the entire facility down. But she must have gotten a little comfortable, really, because she is now seated in one corner of the area, staring at the open, bleeding wound on her left palm—an accident formed by a brief moment of zoning out, a quick second of clumsiness. It seems to be of a relatively deep cut, but not deep enough to raise /that/ many alarms, but still enough to make her worry.
How safe would she be if she had gone around, walking toward the clinic (which is, unfortunately, a little too far from where she is) with an open wound like this?
It's this dilemma that has her sitting still where she is, wondering if she would be able to get away with wrapping around a piece of fabric torn from her shirt and safely reach the clinic. She clicks her tongue, and heaves a deep sigh, running her uninjured hand down her face. This facility is throwing her off a little more than she expected. "," she murmurs to herself, before ultimately deciding to rip off a part of her pants by the ankles.
@☩ odessa Warm started to creep as the sun left their doss. Sat on a broken chair without goals and urges, she started to think about how humans and vampires comprehend the world through different senses, she herself had decided to experience the environment on her own. Now, she started to doubt her choice. Was it better if she follow Jisun's step to became a hunter instead of surrender herself in this cold place?
Her mind stop wandered the second a soft voice caress her lug. She turned her head to the newcomer and for the next few seconds stared at her before broke a smile. Remember, she need to look as nice as possible, gather many allies so that she got many shield to protect her in this cursed place. "Hello," Jisoo greeted the older one warmly. The emptiness on her face faded right away.
Jisoo shifted from her seat so that she could see the woman better. A new face, she guessed. Or they just never bumped into each other before. "I'm waiting for you," she joked. The other female seemed to enjoyed their food so much. A gift that Jisoo didn't get since she set foot in this facility. Her appetite flew somewhere. She only eat because she need to in order to survive, not because she want to. "I'm Jisoo. Kim Jisoo. And you? New here?"
@☩ kim jisoo Silence...It was something that Jisoo seemed to be craving, yet fate was a cruel mistress and moved it's strings like a puppeteer would to keep her from such bliss. Jisoo wouldn't hear it right away as the older woman was quite nimble and quiet as she made her way up the stairs to the rooftop. Had it not been for the soft creek of the door giving her away, she would have been able to sneak up on the poor girl.
However, that had not been her intention so there was no need to be disappointed. Instead dark eyes fell on Jisoo and there was a split second of hesitation before she continued to move towards the railing, a brown paper bag in one hand while the other touched the cold metal rail, a sigh of relief leaving her. "I didn't think I'd have company" She mumbled to herself before looking up at the moving clouds and strangely feeling a tightness in her chest before moving to sit on the floor, old chairs be damned.
A superficial smile later she spoke again. "Are you waiting for someone?" A question to give her time to take out some iron tablets and popping them into . She chased them down with orange juice before taking out a sandwich she grabbed from the cafeteria. The food here wasn't exactly the best in her eyes, but it was edible and comparable to caviar if she compared it to the time she had to eat a roasted rat. Times were tough for the human race out there after all. "What's your name?" She asked between bites, her thumb. Was it the fact that she had just come from donated towards someone's dinner prior arriving to the rooftop that had her feeling chatty? Probably.
@☩ song qian The weather was cold as she crossed the iron doorway and welcomed the morning wind on her face. She had spent days in this facility, and still, she couldn't find joy in that. Her thoughts about Jisun, her sister, wandered as her gaze scanned the situation before her. She walked towards the guardrail, and with this height, she could look at her surroundings as straightforward, stiff and boring. Very different from the ranch she lived in before, she missed the place so much. Nimble fingers traced up as she closed her eyes, remembering those happy days she spent with her father and Jisun. Once she opened her eyes, the merry laugh which filled her mind for a moment faded away, replaced by cold silence. The other donors downstairs were prepared themself to donor their blood. Her turn will be up in a few minutes. Thus she chose to calm herself first in this place. She took an old chair closer and sat on it, enjoying the silence.
Can I ask two questions?
I was thinking about requesting San and I don't see him on the masterlist so could I, please, request him?
And if I make him a financial donor to the blood farm, are there any specific things he had to do or are there any requirements for financial donors in the world? I'm sorry if it seems like a stupid question. I just want to be sure. ><
