She came into the room and found no one. A sigh passed by her lips. There was no one at the moment. "I wonder who is my dorm mate... Hopefully, I can mingle well with them."
@☩ jeon somi predictably, mashiro was spooked when the girl in front of her decided to let out a loud cry and a bag came flying towards her head. at the last moment she was able to duck down so it didn't hit her square in the head. letting out a big sigh of relief, a hand coming over her heart to try to calm it down. it was beating hard, like it was going to bounce right out of her chest.
after taking a moment to try and take some deep breaths after what was probably more excitement today than she had ever expected. after all, she was just trying to retrieve her knitting needles so she could resume her project. she had crawled all the way under and she wasn't even able to grab them. whatever, that could wait until later.
peeking back up at the girl, she gave her a hesitant smile, unsure of how to express herself for a moment. "it's mashiro, sakamoto mashiro. sorry again for surprising you?" biting her lip nervously, she gave the girl in front of her a smile before offering her hand for her new roommate to shake. "and what's your name?"
ah. now she had to explain her moment of clumsy to her roommate. mashiro was very unsure of how the girl would react after what had just occured. "well, this is embarrassing but i dropped my knitting needles by accident and they slipped under the bed so i was trying to find them? but then i heard the door open and got distracted and then i wanted to say hi! and now we're here?" mashiro explained, impressively in almost one breath of air.
@☩ sakamoto mashiro If this was prison, they were mighty humorous to offer frills like this. It was a terribly sick joke. She gets no response, instead stepping closer to the mess of ruffles and bright colors that betrayed every square inch of what Somi knew about this facility. Another step closer, and she almost lost her balance, surprised when the industrial grade linoleum flooring was cushioned beneath her feet.
‘A rug… knit too?’ Such a soft rug. Somi looked between the rug and the bed frills—were they machine made? Vampire made? Her fingers pinch the hem of the bed skirt, finding the loops to be generally uniform, with a mistake or two. ‘Gran could make something like this,’ she marveled quietly—
"Hi there—” Somi didn’t hear the rest as the voice came from *under the ing bed*, instead she leapt back with a strangled cry, her canvas bag full of clothes thrown in the direction of the voice as it emerged.
The world seemed to turn over and over as Somi slumps against the bed opposite this knitted knightmare, from beneath which her roommate emerged—how long was she there? Was this planned? Was this even her roommate? ‘That’s what she just said, right?’ Somi couldn’t hear herself think as she caught her breath and calmed her hammering heart.
“ing— , …” she exhales, completely surrendering herself to the bottom bunk as she swallows thickly. “You… Your name again, sorry…”

@☩ jeon somi it's been known that mashiro absolutely loves decorating her space of her dorm. apart from the feedings, there wasn't really anything that mashiro needed to attend to so she tended to fill up her days by visiting others and getting her hands onto any sort of project she could using whatever she could scrounge up and convince others to lend to her. that resulted in the burst of colour and comfort that she had created in her own space of the dorm.
the first thing one would notice were the ruffles that mashiro had sewn and used to decorate the bed frame. using various colors that she had found herself or even tried dying herself using natural colourings, it was a pretty kaleidoscope of ruffles that personalized her bed. the second would be the lovingly handmade rug at the side of her bed that she had made using her own efforts and a crochet needle. the rug was a simple oval shape and the colors were all clashing because she had just taken whatever balls of yarn that was around to create it. however, it gave off a very homely yet cozy feel. plus, it kept mashiro's feet warm when she would get up in the morning.
currently, mashiro herself had climbed under her bed to try and retrieve something. embarrassingly, she had dropped her knitting needles behind the bed when she was half asleep last night and knitting in bed. the result was that her project was only a few stitches loose, thankfully, but the needles had completely fallen out of her bed and she had scrounged the whole room for them before climbing under the bed. with her small stature, it would be almost impossible to see her if she was there.
she heard the opening of the door and some guards talking, introducing her roommate to the room. they didn't acknowledge her at all so she assumed that they hadn't noticed her under the bed at all. she was about to scurry out to see who it was and say goodbye, when she finally noticed her needles. with a triumphant "found it!", she grabbed them and finally shuffled herself out from under the bed. popping her head up, she was then greeted with the sight of an unfamiliar girl. she was someone that mashiro hadn't met before which meant the potential for a new friend.
"hi there! sorry if i surprised you- i'm mashiro, one of your new roommates i assume!"
Every living second is so heavy and burdensome, but a second remains a second: a quick breath, a blink, a glance around the room, another step forward into the murky future. The seconds don’t stop, they race along as they did before but each one is more noticeable than the last. Each tick of time from the official time of death sent Somi into a spin. Cut loose from the last living tether of her family, Somi is freefalling.
… Except she isn’t falling at all. She is exactly where she needs to be, flanked by two immortal guards watching her move keenly from a step or two away. It was wholly unnecessary if she was being very frank—the chances were too high that one of them possessed supernatural speed, if not both. The chances were such that they would devour her before she could even consider escape. How kind of them to watch so closely…
Her hand closes around the door’s knob, turning it and pushing forth into the new dwelling: from two beds to four, from living with family to living with strangers, Somi starts counting the seconds into her new life.
“Your belongings will be collected and moved tomorrow,” an authoritative voice speaks from behind her and Somi nods, shutting the door. All she had in her hands were select toiletries and her night clothes all stuffed into a worn out bag.
‘Is this what prison is like?’ She tucks her blonde hair back, taking in the empty side of the room, then the inhabited one. It looked inviting to say the least, but she had learned from Day 1 that in this blood farm, not all that glitters is gold.

Can I ask two questions?
I was thinking about requesting San and I don't see him on the masterlist so could I, please, request him?
And if I make him a financial donor to the blood farm, are there any specific things he had to do or are there any requirements for financial donors in the world? I'm sorry if it seems like a stupid question. I just want to be sure. ><
