@jung hoseok Chaeryeong shook her head lightly, it was news that she never got out of her work, so to others her being out at all would be news. "You might be surprised!" She exclaimed. The field captain had considered going out on one of the contest events that the town held. Of course it probably wouldn't be any time soon, with all the work that she had piled on.

Chaeryoung heard the word that was about to come out of the males mouth, when talking about the new comers in town, and she raised an eyebrow at the other. She looked around as well, but tried not to react too much. They were here in hiding and no one could figure out who they were. "I don't know." She said looking at the male. "Some people take their job very seriously." She stated.

"I've heard from around town that the lord is very... adventurous. So she might be even more serious about it, trying to keep him safe." She insisted. Of course she knows that Hoseok would know, and that he had the ability to keep a secret, but she had to play it safe considering they were in a public area that would eventually gain more people that could over hear later.

@lee chaeryeong Hoseok chuckled as the field captain knew him all too well. “You just might get lucky this one time,” Hoseok assured her. “After all, this isn’t a contest festival. If you decided to participate in a contest festival, now THAT would be breaking news. Whether you won or not, just the fact that you participated would get the town talking.”

He sat at the picnic table, ready to talk about the latest gossip with the field captain. Her being shut away and constantly working kept her from knowing the latest happenings in town, and it was the perfect excuse for Hoseok to let everything out. Not only that, but Chaery was a safe place to spill the beans. Hoseok was mostly good at not spreading around information that needed to be kept quiet, but even he needed someone to confide in. He had hunches about people, and he enjoyed having someone to bounce ideas off of. He could do that with Chaery without fear that she’d start rumors from a hunch of his.

“I’m sure you know about that prin—“ Hoseok paused himself, and he checked around to verify that none of the other townspeople had arrived yet. “That lord character and his knight. Most of the townspeople are more than willing to accept that the lord is simply of a noble class, but I have a suspicion that he’s actually a prince.” Hoseok took a bit of his cupcake. “I’ve met noble knights before, and none of them are as serious as that Sarah character. She definitely gives off Royal Guard vibes.”

@jung hoseok Hearing a chirpy voice approach, Chaeryeong looked up from the beach. She could only assume the all too familiar voice that often comes visit her in the outpost, always catching her up on the latest happenings in the town. The female gave the male a smile, "Hello, Hoseok!" Chaeryeong had to channel her energy, as she still wasn't used to being out and about most of the time. Of course, it wasn't because she didn't want to, but because she never had the time.

"Oh, it's the perfect excuse." She agreed while also grabbing one of the cupcakes, taking a small bite of it. "I better not see some "BREAKING NEWS: FIELD CAPTIAN CHAERY SEEN AT THE FESTIVAL" in those little gossip pages of yours though." She implied jokingly, using her hands for dramatic effect. She chuckled a bit, finishing her cupcake.

She relaxed back a bit, looking at the male. "So, while we are waiting on everyone to get here, any hot gossip lately?" She asked, the girl had to admit that she did enjoy a bit of gossip here and there.

@lee chaeryeong Beach day was possibly one of the absolute best days of the year. It wasn’t often that every citizen in Rigbarth all got together to celebrate holidays — well, Hoseok wished that it could happen more often, but it seemed like there was always another festival right around the corner. While most people took the day off for the festivals, Hoseok used the opportunity to get some extra work done. After all, being a reporter meant staying on top of all the latest gossip in town, and festival were the perfect breeding grounds for new material for the post.

On his way to join the rest of the townspeople, Hoseok couldn’t help but notice that the first person to arrive wasn’t the mayor, but the field captain of SEED herself. She was a very busy woman, delegating tasks to all members of SEED (the most heavily staffed business in Rigbarth), so it was pretty rare to see her enjoying herself. Even on festival days.

“Ah, Field Captain Chaeryeong!” Hoseok said as he skipped up to the field captain, helping himself to one of the cupcakes she brought. Hoseok would have brought food himself, but he was up all night working on an article, so he scarcely had the time. “It’s pretty rare to see you out and about. Beach Day is the perfect excuse to come out and enjoy yourself, though.”

It was far and few in between that you found the field captain outside of the rigbarth outpost, but Chaeryeong felt that she could make an exception for today. The weather was warm and welcoming, and most, if not all the people of Rigbarth would be wandering around and enjoying their day, and there was no harm in Chaeryeong enjoying hers, even if she was still on guard, making sure nothing dangerous could attack the town.

In fact, it had actually been a while that Chaeryeong had attended one of the town's festivals because she was had always been caught up in her work. The female adorned a white one piece bathing suit, with a floral lace swim-suit cover draped just slightly on her shoulders., and carrying some cupcakes out to the festival grounds wanting to help in the food for the townspeople to eat.

Upon arriving at the festival grounds the female placed the plate of cupcakes on one of the tables and looked around seeing everyone enjoying their day down at the beach playing some games. However the female decided to take seat at one of the empty picnic tables, just enjoying the weather for the time being.
