Xiaoting can be quite shy so her best friend thought it'll be a lovely thing to do in setting her up on a blind date of all things! Xiaoting doesn't know who this person is, what he looks like, smells like, does he even smell good? Eek! Just thinking about it makes her skin crawl! She loves a hygienic man okay? What led up to this "date" would thoroughly shock her life. Xiaoting went out a couple of nights ago, clubbing for the first time in a long time. Taking a break from all her work and her friend suggested they use a hooker, take shots and even consume edibles (weed jellies) what can go wrong right?! Well, Xiaoting gave into desire with some hot guy, smelling sweet of cologne and laced with overwhelming lustrous satisfaction that tickles her very core. A night to remember was a night left with overwhelming dark spots in her memory! She can't remember anything! Just have bruises on her body to remind her of his love bites and a sore aching lower half with knees barely able to carry her out of the man's apartment/house/whatever YC has. Her best friend/co-worker (not the friend who she went clubbing with) set her up on a blind date with the very man she never called even when she found his number in her purse when she went back home; instead ripping it to shreds from embarrassment. Xiaoting was in the right place at the right time! who says that angels are best cloaked with wings and a big, broad chest?! Even if she looks like one or gives off the aura, she isn't a celestial being. Xiaoting was there and you were the first person she ever saved since moving to Rigbarth! An incoming crash was about to go down and you were about to be pitched straight into the air and flipped across the road sunny side up-style. Totally disturbing, but thankfully she saw what would've happened before it did. Call it intuition, Xiaoting has been very intuitive (after all, she's a bird of omens) and she also, believes it comes from the deep spirituality that she dug and sort through with the help of the planets, sun and moon. Having to deal with the loss of her family, and channeling that angst in the "right way" she turned to spirituality (the batter half of her) and since she dug into that aspect of her life, she senses when something tragic is about to happen, that day she saved you. Both bodies banged up but at least she helped save you from becoming meshed under heavy bus tires. New girl, new village, a Crystal manufacturer and seller. What are the odds?

Mysterious, alluring, charming, all of these things can be used in describing who YC is. Xiaoting cannot deny the fatal burst of attraction lingering in the crimson flooding in her veins. ╰┈➤ Rivals theme: Maybe they grew up together as neighbors [since she's from China, it could be YC's family visiting hers there] and even their families were not getting along so they went along with it and forgot about why they were ever fighting in the first place. After all, a lot of time has passed now and they are put together in a scene together where they're both living in Rigbarth, living a new life. Perhaps they're stuck working together [ironic if he asks her for a job] or maybe just happen to be in the same friend circle or something like that.

One day MC ends up owing YC a favor and is now indebted to him and YC plans to hold it over her head for a long time and take the utmost advantage of it. Eventually, though, it happens to go too far and MC’s feelings get hurt YC is surprised by it and realizes he feels differently towards her.

MC promptly has moved on after being hurt even though they also happened to have strange feelings towards YC and now YC is miserable. Even worse, he finds out that MC’s new person of interest (yes, Xiaoting tries to date around occasionally) is not a good person but MC won’t listen to anything YC has to say. What will he do to repay her or will he try and win her heart?

MC and YC are renting together, Hyewon had to live closer to her job and area of study so she figured she'd rent elsewhere for the time being. Getting a flatmate would be nice and splitting the bill in half, making it easier to achieve her goal. Finally getting one, she couldn't be happier, even if it's m/f (it doesn't matter). They had a really great relationship. They both flirted around 24/7 but didn’t know that the other had a spark of feelings too. One day MC was sitting on their couch watching TV, pretty much dozing off, when YC walked in. “Hey” greeted MC “How was your date ?” she asked while lowering the TV volume. “I mean, considering you’re home after just 2 hrs of leaving….I’m assuming not good ?” Hyewon was there, in the end, to pick up the pieces of another failed date YC went on.
