@Yoo Taeyang "Heh, that is true; some humans sleep less than me and rely on coffee." Jisoo laughs as he brings his cup up, stealing a small sip to savor the bittersweet beverage.
Jisoo was in no hurry and felt no need to pressure an old client; he was happy to share this time with him and that Taeyang was still around, trying his best. "Oh?" He tilts his head, blinking a few times. "someone new...like a partner or...?" he trails off, allowing Taeyang to fill in the missing pieces.
"Well, I am glad you met someone, and I hope for good things to roll into your future with them."
The vampire leaned into the frame of his chair, humming softly as he recalled the new workers he had to deal with, but he thought it would be rather unprofessional to vent about them. He was worried if he did vent, it would come back to him later. "Ah, nothing really, just work and training a newbie. Nothing special."

@Hong Jisoo ⚸ "i used to think i could only imagine that, but i think i'm a little more intimately aware of how little sleep some people really need." his thumb grazes over the rim of his glass as he holds it near his chest, almost like a shield as he considers the question of being more specific about just what has made life a little brighter, a little more worth living. as he reached the table alongside jisoo, he waited for the doctor to take his seat before he took the other across and took his first sip of his coveted drink. he didn't mention the therapy he attended infrequently, so discreet as to be secret from even the people closest to him. but there was something he didn't hold as a secret so much as private. "i started seeing someone new." he averts his gaze, one hand withdrawing from the table to rest on his thigh almost self-consciously. "thankfully it didn't wind up feeling like right place, wrong time. but that's probably enough about me- what's new in the life of a hero?"

@Yoo Taeyang "It's nothing for me. I'm used to it and don't need as much sleep as others. One perk of being a vampire." He tilted his head, a soft, warm smile stretching across his features.
"Oh, I am happy to hear that; what good stuff has come into your life?" He was genuinely curious about his old patient, but he hoped he wasn't crossing the line and making him feel uncomfortable.
Jisoo patiently waited for Taeyang to collect his drink, stepping to the side and humming softly, "Of course I have room; come and join me." He offered and stepped back to his table, which luckily wasn't claimed in the few minutes that the two were conversing.

@Hong Jisoo ⚸ "i can only imagine the hours you must keep." taeyang's expression grew a little warmer, his eyes briefly averted downward. "i've been good, actually. i mean life's looking up a lot more lately." there was an irony in that, him looking down and making himself seem a bit smaller, even a bit more narrow in the shoulders. he heard the barista call his name a moment before the cup actually touched the counter, and he murmured an apology to jisoo before he turned to reach for the glass. he had forgotten to order it to go, but perhaps that was purposeful now. he looked back at the other man. "you wouldn't happen to have had room at your table, would you?"

@Yoo Taeyang Jisoo shared a warming smile with Taeyong, his eyes casually doing a swift doctor check-up, making sure everything seemed okay from where he stood. "Me neither, but seeing you is a rather nice surprise. I've been good, you know, still working crazy hours at the hospital, but it's nothing for me. How have you been? Doing anything new these past days?"

@Choi Chanhee ⚸ "Alright." Kyungsoo smiled back to his friend before he pulled away his hands when the food and drinks came over. He watched as the waiter was placing their ordered food and drinks on the table, saying thank you to him before he left. Kyungsoo blinked his eyes few times over Chanhee's questions. Oh, he never thought about that. He bit his lower lip a little, "I never thought about it yet. I'm not sure if I could take a break based on the situation in the restaurant." Kyungsoo gave a small smile when he talked about his workplace. "I'm still the only one in the kitchen. So, hopefully, they could hire another chef or chefs because if I decide to take a break from work, there's someone to do the works in the kitchen. I convinced him for few times, Chanhee. Knowing how protective he is, he won't let me work at all." He chuckled softly.

@Do Kyungsoo ฅᵒᵐᵉᵍᵃ “I hope.. I’ll just have to convince him..” Chanhee smiled giving Kyungsoo’s hand a squeeze before pulling it away when their food and drinks were brought over. Chanhee claps a little eager for the sweets. “So.. what are you going to do when you get bigger? You’ll have to take a break from work right? Will you be okay with that?. I’m surprised your man still lets you work.. isn’t he a little protective?”

@Choi Chanhee ⚸ "Alright although I know you'll spoil them too much." Kyungsoo commented with a laugh. Kyungsoo nodded his head, giving assurance to Chanhee. He was very sure that Chanhee would experience it too. It would be great if the other was pregnant at the same time as him. Their kids would be in the same age buddy. Kyungsoo was listening to his friend, telling him about his relationship with Tim. "Chanhee, take your time. Once you and Tim are sure that the relationship is stable and ready to have the baby, that would be the right time." He gave a small squeeze to Chanhee's hand and smiled. "It's alright for me. You would be the best aunt for them."

@Do Kyungsoo ฅᵒᵐᵉᵍᵃ “But.. I have to spoil them… fine I’ll tone it down~ maybe~” Chanhee smiled turning his hand to give Kyungsoo’s a small squeeze, it was nice someone could easily read him at times. “You think..? I don’t know.. I’m not sure Tim would.. would want that. He’s a free spirit and I love that about him, but with his work and my life style.. I worry that maybe I don’t know- it’s too soon anyways we just started being exclusive and I don’t want to jeopardize that at all. I love being with him and love how he is with me and I’m not gonna mess that up. I really don’t know what I’d do without him so.. I’m happy right now, with everything.. maybe in the future when we’re more settled we’ll talk about it but right now I’ll just live vicariously through you if that’s alright?”

@Choi Chanhee ⚸ Kyungsoo sat down across the vampire, facing the cute guy. Kyungsoo smiled softly and his hand unconsciously caressing his flat belly where he was carrying his and HyeokGeun's little miracle. "I would say that it's really a miracle. Both of us were really surprised and happy with it." He said, chuckling because he could imagine Chanhee was playing with his babies, spoiling them and sending them back home after that. What a really cute sight! "Gosh, I could imagine you spoil them, Hee~ but please don't spoil them too much." He laughed along with Chanhee before he saw the change of the mood. Kyungsoo reached out his hand to Chanhee, holding his hand. "You're going to experience it... I'm very sure that you will, Hee..."

@Do Kyungsoo ฅᵒᵐᵉᵍᵃ Taking a seat Chanhee leaned back smiling at his friend, oh how happy he was for his friend. “But you are, like a sign you were supposed to be at this time Soo, your body knew you and Hyeok deserved this little bundle of joy~ and I personally can’t wait to spoil them either~ you can’t stop me. I’ll be the fun aunt~ baby sit them when you need me to! Hipe them up on sugar and send them back when they’re older~” he winked jokingly laughing softly. “Ah what a joy..” he sighs playing with his fingers wondering if that would be something he could experience too later in life.

@Choi Chanhee ⚸ Kyungsoo took out his wallet and pulled out his credit card. know and thank you for your kind offer. If I really need your help, I’ll call you right away.” Kyungsoo said with happy smile on his face. He was happy to share the news to one of his close friends. He needed to see Sunyoul and told him about this good news. Kyungsoo saw that Chanhee pulled out his wallet and he immediately stopped the vampire. “I pay this time.” He gave the card to the cashier and waited for him to proceed with the payment. Kyungsoo chuckled softly. “ Not yet, my dear. Please don’t say sorry about it.” He took the card and the receipt. “I never thought that I could get pregnant, Hee. I thought that I would never ever have the chance.” Both them walked to the empty seat near the big glass windows .

To find out. “Oh, a slice of carrot cake and I’ll have a blueberry vanilla smoothie please. Thank you.” Pulling out his wallet to pay Chanhee was bouncing on his toes all happy and smiling. “Any name ideas yet? Wait you just found out- I’m getting ahead of myself sorry. I’m just so happy for you soo”

@Hong Jisoo ⚸ the voice was familiar, something taeyang found a surprise given the fact that he had been drifting through consciousness and compartmentalizing so much of that time in his life that knowing the voice that belonged to the face seemed unfathomable. yet he did, and his iced americano was behind at least two more orders. he turned his head and made eye contact with the other man, the ghost of a smile on his lips and slowly rising to his eyes. one of his large hands ruffled the back of his hair, the ends much longer than they had been back then - not to mention all the added color in his complexion even in the midst of winter.

"i didn't think i would see you here, doc." he inched away from his spot as the barista placed another pair of drinks on the counter for some other customer, and it placed him closer to jisoo in the process. "long time no see. how have you been?"

@Choi Chanhee ⚸ Kyungsoo walked with Chanhee towards the cafe with arms linked together. He got inside the cafe and said thank you to his friend. "I'm totally happy but at the same time feeling worried. I took suppressant for too long that it might affect my pregnancy. I have to make sure that I take care of myself well." He said while scanning the menu. Since he couldn't take any caffeine, he had to choose non coffee drinks. The cashier greeted them and asked what would they like to order. "I want one creamy mango and one chocolate indulgence cake. What about you, Chanhee?" He looked at Chanhee.

@Do Kyungsoo ฅᵒᵐᵉᵍᵃ arms linked together chanhee holds the door open for his close friend smiling. “Im so ugh i just can’t get over it.. how do you feel? Happy? Worried shocked still?” He followed his friend standing close looking around, he may not be romantic with kyungsoo but knowing one of his closest friends is pregnant makes Chanhee more aware feeling like he just needed to also protect soo in case of anything.

@♔Yoo Taeyang [ˢʷᵉᵉᵗ ᶜᵃⁿᵈʸ ᴾᵒᵉᵗ] Jisoo kept people watching while his hands were warmed by the aid of his coffee cups, he might brown orbs focused on different activity from people walking in or chatting amongst each other, along with new customers making their orders. The moment he moved his gaze to the ordering booth, they fell on a stranger who grew recognizeable with each passing second. Soon it clicked into the doctor's memory, it was a patient he had, someone he cared for and had worried about ever since they met in the medical environment.

With nothing much to do but take small sips and watch people, striking a conversation with Taeyang was more interesting. He got up with his drink in one hand, and smiled warmly, "Taeyang, is that you?"

@Hong Jisoo ⚸ it was after a morning ride that taeyang entered the cafe for an iced americano despite the cool turn in the weather. he waited off to the side of the counter for his drink, leaned back against a free sliver of wall in black joggers and a white compression shirt whose collar was slightly darkened with the sweat the material had wicked from his neck. after a moment, he spared a glance around the cafe. he didn't expect to see a familiar face. he rolled his lips inward and flicked his attention back to the order counter as if he hadn't seen anything at all - far be it from him to interrupt a familiar face.

@Yoo Taeyang Jisoo stopped by a cafe before his morning shift, he grabbed his usual warm beverage, though he never really drank much of it. He needed an excuse to sit in the quiet, peaceful cafe without being a loitering man. And the warmth of the cup around his hands or the small sips always made him content, made him feel like a human. His eyes scan the few customers sitting in the cafe like him.

@Choi Beomgyu ฅᵇᵉᵗᵃ *giving the lad an invite, I opened shop moments ago and began cleaning to set out what needs to be set out for the deserts. I take care of some customers and I had a bit of help with a close friend helping out. We gotten a bit busy in the morning and I helped out while the cook in the back prepared. Was waiting for you at the same time. Bringing in people from the area was interesting since i wouldn't know if they were human or creatures, but being optimistic that we all could come together... I hoped.I kept a look out for you
