ʚ♡ɞ Couple Pottery Class

@Yoo Taeyang *the clay begins to cover my fingers as well, and i scoot my stool closer to you, hooking my foot around one of the legs, a soft screech filling the air as it slides across the floor. i hum quietly, enjoying the sensation of our joined fingers coated and slick* that does look better, tae - - *i smile when i feel your warm skin beneath my lips, and i can't resist nuzzling your throat before i pull away, finding your shy reaction adorable* what would you like to make, baby? i hope you don't mind if i help you.

@Kim Seokwoo ⚸ *once you're seated behind me, i sit up a little straighter rather than hunch over the wheel, my hands beneath yours as you help to bring the lump of clay toward center, enough that i can seal it down with the tips of my fingers* much better... *murmuring quietly, the kiss to my throat bringing a flush to my features that causes me to bow my head, hair falling into my face as i do, and i inwardly curse myself for not tying it back before we started as i feel the clay spread between my fingers* babe...

@Yoo Taeyang *i pull up a stool so i can sit behind you, watching over your shoulder to see your progress. when you seem worried about centering on the wheel, i reach forward, my arms surrounding you as i try to adjust the lump of clay, my hands covering yours* is that any better, tae? *my lips are close to your ear, and when i notice the staff member who instructed us looking away, i plant a kiss on your throat*

@Kim Seokwoo ⚸ *leaned into your side, i watch the instruction carefully, trying to take note of hand placement and the control of each movement in shaping the clay from its initial shape.* if you're sure, love. *with a fresh lump of clay in hand, i take a seat at the wheel just in front of you to begin the throw, one foot lightly on the wheel's pedal and only slightly wincing from the amount of force involved in just getting clay on the wheel* ah! i don't know if i centered that-

@Yoo Taeyang *the staff member shows us how to use the pottery wheel, making a simple vase to show us how to work the clay. once they offer us a lump of clay to work, i encourage you to sit behind the wheel* go ahead and try first, tae *the staff member hovers, but offers us a bit of privacy to try and make our own pot which is a bit of a relief* i'll be right here, baby *i whisper in your ear as i linger behind you*

@Kim Seokwoo ⚸ don't be so sure, handsome. *an airy laugh escapes me, quiet as the aside whisper as we make our way toward the wheel and i can only offer those little nervously excited squeezes to your hand along the way and my gaze sweeping over the workshop setup* i will too. i'll be happy if we make something to bring home and keep on display. a token of us, right?

@Yoo Taeyang right - - though i predict that you're going to be better at this than i am *my smile reaches my eyes which sparkle with amusement, a vision of the crooked mug that i made as a child dancing in my mind. i listen to the staff member, nodding when they indicate where we're to have our lesson, my hand squeezing yours in return as we stride toward the pottery wheel* i know i'll have fun because i'm spending time with you, tae

@Kim Seokwoo ⚸ we’ll learn together, right? *i flush a little in embarrassment at possibly having misremembered a bit of vernacular, but as the staff member appears, i forget that for a moment and join you in politely bowing before we’re directed on where to go, only allowing myself a moment to gently squeeze your hand* let’s have fun, love.

@Yoo Taeyang i think i saw that movie too, but i still have no confidence in my ability to - - what did you say? throw on the wheel *i blink, trying to imagine myself creating a piece of pottery. before i can speak again, a staff member appears, bowing politely as they introduce him, indicating a pottery wheel toward the back of the store where the lessons where to be held* here we go, tae - -

@Kim Seokwoo ⚸ i think the start and end of my exposure to this is through a movie. *that thought elicits a soft laugh while i look toward my hand resting in yours, my thumb hooking upward to graze over the side of your hand* i know we’ll have to start with one of us throwing on the wheel.

@Yoo Taeyang *once i notice your smile, i lean over impulsively, pecking your lips, wanting to cheer you up, finding it endearing that my story affects you so much. when you take my arm, i rest my hand over yours, my thumb brushes over your knuckles* i like that idea. i've never done anything like this, so i'm gonna need all the help i can get

@Yoo Taeyang *i sigh softly, shaking my head as we enter the shop* i called her mom, but it was a gift for the woman who ran the orphanage where i grew up. i have to admit that she did keep it on her desk for a number of years. i think she felt sorry for me - - i was a bit of an outsider *i flash a smile, bumping you with my hip* i will try my best today since i'm here with you, tae

@Kim Seokwoo ⚸ clumsy together sounds a little more promising. *as you hold the door open, i step inside, leaving room for you to follow and reaching out to reciprocate holding the door for you* that sounds like it must have actually been adorable-

@Yoo Taeyang don't worry about it, tae. i've never done this either, so we can be clumsy together. *i push open the pottery shop door, holding it for you before i follow you inside* i think i made a cup for my mom when i was in elementary school, but let's say i did not show any great aptitude with clay *chuckles*
