Welcome to the Novis Stellae point system. Known as Cosmic Shards, this is how you can rise or fall in the ranks here. You can also redeem your Shards here. Please read through everything to understand how our system works and how you can both gain and lose Cosmic Shards as well as how to redeem them. Ranking System
these determines your popularity as an idol/talent, or skill/experience level for other occupations. note that falling more than one rank at any point may affect ic opportunities.
- Orion: 500 shards » promotion guaranteed.
- Avior: 400 shards » promotion guaranteed.
- Astra: 300 shards » promotion available.
- Polaris: 200 shards » promotion available.
- Pavo: 100 shards » promotion considered.
- Virgo: entry class.
Cosmic Shards
below you'll find a list of things that you can do to gain shards outside of regular activity. these shards will be used to not only help you rise in ranks but also can be redeemed for perks and other opportunities.
- Meeting Activity Requirement: +20.
- Referrals: +20 each (only applicable to one character per referral).
- Posting a Connection: +35.
- Claiming a Connection: +20.
- Joining Discord Server: +10. join here
- Boosting Discord Server: +10. (must notify to get shards for joining and boosting)
- Make a Suggestion: +5.
- Host a Game/Event: +15.
- Thread with a Newbie: +10 (must be within the first 2 weeks of their arrival).
- Open Starter: +10.
- Closed Starter: +15.
- Starter Reply: +10.
- Completed Thread: +30 (must be labeled as completed to count).
- Solo Prompt: +30 (limit 3x a month).
- SNS Update: +2 (limit 5x a week).
- SNS Comment: +5 (initial post only).
- Gain a Badge: +10.
- Evaluation Participation: +15.
- Promotion Participation: +15.
- Event Participation: +20 (+ badge).
- Positive News/Gossip: +15.
Redemption
To redeem your shards, tag Secretary Choi Minji with the correct format. If a room is removed, it must be requested again. More may be added at admin discretion.
- Negative News/Gossip/Scandal: -15.
- Gossip/Scandal Tip: -15.
- Upgrade a Talent/Skill: -15.
- Gain a Talent/Skill: -10.
- Small Project: -20 (ie. singles, cameos, OSTs, guest appearances, magazine covers, interviews, etc).
- Large Project: -30 (EPs, Studio Albums, lead roles, regular cast/mc, etc).

all rooms of these types cost 10 pts. note that any room with no posts for over a month will be removed.

housing
all housing is private and will be found and accessed through the directory room. all rooms will be titled by character unless requested otherwise. you can also always request a name or name change later on. note that any room with no posts for over a month will be removed.

hiatus
a full hiatus lasts for 6 weeks or 42 days. a semi hiatus lasrs 4 weeks or 28 days. you are allowed only one extension. you can only request a hiatus twice in a row. you must be in the roleplay at least 3 weeks before you can request a hiatus.

this refers to muse changes and name changes only. you are allowed 3 CCs per month per character. The first CC is free. Every CC after that is 50 pts.
