Night rides had always been his favorite. The roads were pretty much empty, no commotion around him, no traffic, no people. He could drive freely and speed as he pleased without a second thought. It allowed him the thrill he sought and to get his head off of things for a bit, the only sound accompanying him being the sound of his bike gliding through the streets and whatever playlist he'd choose for the ride. It felt peaceful. Sometimes he'd ride around just for that peacefulness. Sometimes he'd drive wherever his wheels would take him and then stop for a moment to gather his thoughts. Tonight was one of those nights.

As he parked near the railings, a few steps from the stone stairs that would lead down into the sand area, he brashly slid off his gloves and dropped them over the seat. He then unlocked his helmet, smoothly pulling it off before setting it down on top of his gloves. As he turned to face the dark ocean, he brought his hands up to run his fingers through his hair a few times, before moving to take a seat over the railing. Within seconds there was a lit cigarette between his lips as he changed his phone's output into speaker. There was no one around to be bothered anyway. He skimmed through the playlist for a bit before settling on one of his most played for the past few days, or weeks. Palaye Royale's 'Dead to Me'.

'Was it all in my head? Was it meant to be?'

As the smooth melody played, he inhaled slowly, enjoying the light wind against his bare face. It was way past 3am but the weather wasn't too cold. He'd say it was quite the perfect night actually. A slow exhale liberated the toxins back into the air as he mouthed along with the lyrics. There was a bit too much in his head lately and yet right now he felt the smallest bit of peace. He couldn't say things were going terribly, but he couldn't really say they were going good either. If someone were to ask though, 'nah, nothing that's worth my time, no worries'. And it was true. None of it should be enough to actually affect him. So why did it bother him so much? He'd blame it on the way bad things never showed up alone and instead piled up as if intentionally trying to break you. Unconsciously, his free came up to rest over his inner arm and he squeezed it a little to ground himself a bit.

Another deep inhale of the relieving smoke. Another deep exhale into the night breeze. And there he stayed for nearly an hour, until he ran out cigarettes and his playlist got back to the start, which was when he deemed it best to head back. Taking one last deep breath of the beach air, he slid back into his gear before jumping onto the black motorcycle to take the long way back to the dorm and hoping to get into bed before any of the others got around to stop him.

@✵ park minsoo ᵃᶜᵗᵒʳ "You love it when I tease you?" She chuckled as she shifted on her seat to look at him fully with an amused smile on her face. "You really have a weird taste, Park Minsoo-nim~" Dami grinned before this time, she leaned forward to kiss his cheek "But I guess that's what make you more charming in my eyes~" When she could finally see the sea from the corner of her eyes, she quickly sit back down properly, not wanting to distract him too much as it would be dangerous for the two of them, although she had few wicked ideas to with "That would be wonderful. I can cook us meals too and have pizza or popcorn while we watch. Wait- did you get any kissing scene? or even taking off your shirt??" Dami playfully squinted her eyes, trying to look as displeased as she could, although she did feel a slight irritation even though she knew that it was part of his job. "I hope you didn't enjoy kissing your co-star."

@✵ kim dami ᵐᵒᵈᵉˡ "That sounds lovely." Her response caused boisterous laughter to fall from his lips, quickly softening into chuckles as she turned his head. "Always such a tease...one of the things I love about you." As he drove again, he nodded, a smile never leaving his lips. "We can watch it together if you'd like? I might have to do a few press things when it's released but other than that I don't have much schedules right now. It would be the perfect time to do some traveling and spend time together before either of us get too busy with schedules again..."

@✵ park minsoo ᵃᶜᵗᵒʳ "Just some photoshoots to do there, and maybe take a little vacation afterward." The simple gesture from him was enough to bring a full smile to her face, filling her heart with warmth as she gazed lovingly at the man who successfully stole her heart. "Hmm, what question~? Maybe when we arrive at the beach you should ask me again." Dami winked playfully before gently turning his head back to the front. "The light is green, Mr. Park~" she chuckled "On Netflix huh... well, I guess I have to stay tuned there~"

@✵ kim dami ᵐᵒᵈᵉˡ "Indeed you are my love." He chuckled as he drove, her suggestion throwing him off, though he manages to keep his expression neutral. "Paris? I'd love to go with you, what's in Paris?" Feeling the poke against his cheek he couldn't help but smile brightly, shifting to driving with one hand so he could take her hand in his own. He lifted it to his lips and gave her hand a gentle kiss, his smile never leaving him as he hummed thoughtfully. "Your man huh? Is that your way of answering my question from before then?" When they reached a red light he turned to look at her, a single brow raised as he gazed at her questioningly. Always the teaser, she had left him hanging when he finally asked her to be his girlfriend, but the smile on her lips had told him that she was toying with him. "I recently finished filming something but...I'm honestly not sure when it's going to be aired. It'll be on Netflix though."

@✵ park minsoo ᵃᶜᵗᵒʳ Dami couldn't help but to roll her eyes playfully as he greeted her with a kiss while taking the lunch basket out from her hand. "I hope I'm the only woman who ever get this kind of treatment, Park Minsoo." She threatened albeit still in a playful manner. After seating inside his car, Dami took her time to stare at the side profile of the man beside her, taking in the way he looked and still couldn't believe that this man chose someone like her to be in his life. "The schedules were good, I had a lot of fun. But I think it'll be better with you around." Dami chuckled as she leaned back against the seat "If you have no schedule for this week, maybe you should come to Paris with me." a soft grin adorned her lips as she poked his cheek teasingly. "How was yours though? I can't wait to see my man in the television again~"

@✵ kim dami ᵐᵒᵈᵉˡ Despite her insistence, Minsoo still made his way out of the car to help Dami as she made her way down to the car. His head dipped to press his lips against her cheek in greeting, a soft smile present on his lips. It had been too long since he had been around her, and he wanted nothing more than to lay in bed and hold her in his arms the whole time. But...a date was long overdue for them both, which was why he had agreed in the first place. "Hello, my dear~" He helped her put the things in the car before returning to the driver's seat after closing her door. "How have schedules been?" As he started the car again, he drove carefully towards the beach.
