He was in the process of rising when a flurry of incoming messages demanded his attention, each notification a gentle ping to draw his focus. Before garnet could properly check these messages, his phone began to ring, displaying his friend's name on the screen as he accepted the FaceTime call without hesitation.
"Yah! I'm a texter extraordinaire; you just can't keep up," he teased upon seeing Sunghoon's face appear, accompanied by their beloved pet snuggled atop of him. It was an endearing sight that never failed to elicit a chuckle from Heeseung, knowing well how Sunghoon cherished the little monster he would usually about.
Heeseung's own surroundings were minimal in the frame, showcasing only the top of his head down to his eyes, with the muted grey of his ceiling forming the backdrop. He remained unmoving, still enjoying the luxury of being sprawled comfortably on his bed.
