@lee heeseung. Jimin’s gaze was intent and unwavering as she scrutinized the man, bending to hoist the crafted wood in her arm. She took careful steps closer to his vicinity, keen eyes followed the trajectory of each bullet he shot, he was truly in his own world and for unknown reasons that brought a smile to her red stained lips. captivated by the spectacle and oblivious to the commotion unfolding behind her. A woman, clearly agitated, was fervently conversing with a security guard, her gestures animated as she pointed towards the direction of jimin and heeseung. The security guard, whose expression hardened into a frown, was evidently engrossed in the conversation, but his attention was increasingly drawn to the lake's disturbance caused by the glass pieces that violently ricocheted. Unbeknownst to Jimin, their discussion centered on the fact that not only was the bottle shooter, Heeseung, engaged in a prohibited activity, but there was also another individual violating the lake's peace regulations—Jimin herself.

As the security guard and the irate woman began to stalk towards them, their approach became more menacing and deliberate. Jimin, still preoccupied with observing Heeseung’s captivating yet reckless behavior, she remained blissfully unaware of the encroaching danger. It was only when a sharp, involuntary glance towards the constant crackling leaves on the pavement under heavy footsteps that drew near her revealed the approaching figures that a wave of realization crashed over her. the urgency of the situation became apparent; she needed to act swiftly to avoid confrontation. In her experience of intentionally indulging in banned activities, a rebellious vice of a habit she has become accustomed to. She knew punishment for a repeat offender as herself wasn't a light one, and she wasn't sure how many times the male has participated in such but she had kind enough of a heart to help someone avoid official scrutiny if in position to; which she was.

Her heart pounded with determination as she made a beeline for Heeseung, her mind racing with the potential repercussions of their imminent discovery. But her tenacity to avoid it held an alarming sense of urgency, she reached him out of breath, foolishly enough not considering the possible disaster and immediate peril randomly approaching a stranger who possesses a gun of any kind posed. in too much haste to reminisce on the fact his face was so familiar yet she couldn't pinpoint why as she spoke with cognizance to brevity. ".. I know you're probably wondering who the hell is this chick, but trust me it shouldn't come of surprise that what you're doing isn't allowed- but don't worry i'm not here to rat you out in fact someone else already did that, so if you'd rather avoid tha-" She attempted to cram in enough words to indicate their situation to him quickly while the guard was at far enough of a distance, but she couldn't chance getting caught in the midst, so she began bolting. "--t your best bet is to follow me!" she exclaimed enough for him to hear at their gap, the elevation in her voice when she began running off into a direction; she knew would lead to a safe spot- relayed the gravity of their predicament. the situation was precarious, and their swift departure was now imperative if they hoped to avoid serious repercussions.

@yu jimin. The initial shot he fired marked a serene beginning, striking directly and shattering just one of the stationary targets before him. This precise hit signaled a departure from his past rounds, where nerves had left him unsettled and unable to find his rhythm. Those past sessions had been fraught with emotional turmoil, his mind clouded and his aim compromised by the weight of his emotions. Now, albeit, a subtle shift was palpable in his approach; it was no longer merely a means of venting but had transformed into a cherished pastime.

Frequently, he found himself pondering the necessity of these diversions—tools to quiet the relentless clamor of his mind, to soothe the persistent itch for something profound. Shooting provided a temporary salve, an accompanying ritual to ease the turmoil within. Yet, beneath it all, he yearned for a lasting remedy, perhaps even a person, who could lead him to genuine tranquility. Thus far, such solace had eluded him, leaving this solitary practice by the lake as his nearest comfort.

Heeseung remained oblivious to her lingering presence in the vicinity. As far as he was concerned, the expansive woods housed only his solitary figure. Yet, an unshakeable intuition tugged at him, a premonition of sorts. Was it a specter of authority, poised to apprehend him for his unauthorized activity? He was well aware that shooting here was against the rules, yet he defiantly chose to disregard the property's regulations. Albeit, he began to question this apprehension. If indeed someone was monitoring him, wouldn't they have intervened by now? The absence of any interruption fueled both his unease and his resolve to continue

With the absence of any lingering rustles or footfalls, not even a whisper of breath beyond his own, Heeseung pressed on. His focus remained steadfast on shattering the four remaining bottles, his determination unwavering. He readjusted his stance, his form rigid once more, subtly altering the angle for his next precise shot. Normally, he would take a moment to breathe, to drown out the ambient sounds of nature, leaving only himself and the rigid targets before him. Yet, the notion of unseen eyes watching him disrupted this customary tranquility. The soft chirps of birds and the rustling of leaves, which would typically blend into the background, now seemed intrusive, a reminder of his solitude being possibly invaded. Nonetheless, Heeseung persisted amidst the unseen presence that loomed around him.

@lee heeseung. Jimin glided smoothly over the worn wooden board of her skateboard, the rhythmic clacking against the pavement mingling with the gentle rustling of leaves by the lake. She loved the sound, it evoked a sense of serenity for her in the nethermost moments. the sun didn't go unnoticed how it hung low in the sky, casting a cool, cerulean hue across the tranquil water, as if trying to soothe the restless spirit that had taken refuge in Jimin’s heart.

She had come to this lake seeking solace, hoping the quietude of the surroundings would offer some clarity. As she skated in slow, thoughtful circles, she spoke softly out loud to herself to the memory of her deceased sister, her voice mingling with the whisper of the breeze. It was a habit, a instinct for her to confide in one of the singular joys brought to her in this lifetime yet snatched away too soon, whenever she visited this particular place. Jimin recounted the little victories she had achieved, the strides she’d made in life that were supposed to fill the void left by her sister’s absence. Yet, despite her accomplishments and outward success of achieving independence, there remained an intangible sense of something missing; something elusive and profound.

Jimin acknowledged the obvious; the loss of her sister was a gaping wound in her life. But beneath the surface, there was a gnawing sensation, a deeper yearning that she couldn’t quite place. It was as if there was a part of herself she had never known, a longing for something beyond the familiar ache of grief. This unnameable craving had begun to fester, subtly shifting her sense of self and purpose.

As she maneuvered around the lake, lost in her thoughts, a sudden, jarring sound shattered the peace. A loud crack echoed through the stillness, a bottle? presumably tossed from some unseen source? She wasn't convinced that probability was fully factual. She was all too familiar with the sharp, jarring crack of gunfire, a grim echo from her neighborhood that had long become an unsettling backdrop to her daily life. Even so, Jimin’s heart raced as she skidded to a halt, her senses heightening with a mix of alarm and curiosity. She scanned the area, the calm lake now seeming to shimmer with an unsettling tension. The tranquility of her reflective moment was abruptly interrupted, leaving her grappling with both her inner turmoil and the new, unexpected disturbance.

Squinting to see better, Jimin's vibrant colored contacts blurred the edges of her vision, making it harder to discern the exact details of the scene before her. eyes surveying the vicinity she spotted a male figure not too far from where she stood and he was the source of the noise she concluded when she perceived the firearm clutched in his dominant hand. "Ehh..?" Was all she managed to muster out, under her breath to herself.

@yu jimin. The sky tinged itself a merge of dimmed collisions, a canvas of twilight hues, streaked with delicate wisps of lavender and peach that melted into a deepening indigo. Punctuating the evening with their gentle shimmer. Heeseung adored the view but despised the ideations it offered. Adept refraining, he opted to remain indoors but conventionally, he felt a flare up. The urgency clawing at the lining of his skin to do something, anything. Be it anomalous or utterly incongruous. He never were aware of why, albeit when he brought it his loved ones attention, it was his aunt in particular who suggested he pick up a hobby to quiet it. As if amongst the rest, she perceived what he felt and why more than his own mother.

So he had. And that hobby required the heavy bulk of molded metal in which lied holstered against his hip, barrel end tucked behind the hem of his bottom garments while the handle hung out beneath the veil of his shirt, the sole shield of it’s presence. He weren’t aware if it were illegal or not, but he was certain he couldn’t part-take in such matters at this location. Yet here he was, his steps were heavy, the crunch of leafs chirping with each tread, as he was returning to his post after setting up a second round of bottles. Evenly lined to a row, each thin in size that it forced him to garner precision over the course of his development. Standing at a 30 yard distance, he contrived to meet 50.

Inhaling his lungs to their capacity, he released the breath a second later. The bottles had diminished in size due to the distance, and perched along the midst of what held those targets up, he finally retrieved the assailant from its makeshift confines. Both arms outstretched as one ultimately aided as a stabilizer. The handgun gleamed with a matte noir finish, it’s grip meticulously textured with molded rubber for a secure hold despite the feel of wear, while the barrel, polished to a reflective sheen, hinted at its deadly precision. The garnet’s orbs narrowed, his gaze secure and steadfast. He aimed straight towards the middle, index flesh against the trigger but yet to press backwards. There were no correct moments when it came stationary targets, so with the final release and readjustment to his fingertips hold along the handle, his digit pressed the trigger.

A single sharp burst rang out across the tranquil lake, its metallic echo bouncing off the distant hills and fading into the calm evening air. Following the strident report, the sound of glass shattering cut through the peaceful scene with a sudden, explosive burst, sending fragments tinkling into the water below. The juxtaposition of gunfire and splintering glass disrupted the serene atmosphere, leaving an unsettling tension lingering in the tranquil dusk and a chip of relief at Heeseung’s mind. But a slight shift in his angle was a promise he was aiming to deliver another blow towards the middle left.

[open starter for anyone, pls write with me ;; sjsdjds]

scenery views are always the the equivalent of pure, undulterated happiness to huening bahiyyih. it's the very same as warm food her mother would make on a cold evening- or the street foods lining seoul in which bahiyyih has gotten quite addicted to, no surprise there. bahi has always been a er for cheesy, greasy, fatty foods and her family always would tell her - "how are you not gaining any meat on your bones?!" incredulous would be her grandmother's words as she visited over the vacation. sometimes the 19 year old would simply wish to hide away, lock herself away in a room and escape all the demands and needs from her extended family, all the judgment and stares.

everyone in her family owns something, they're 'bigshots' so to speak - but bahiyyih wasn't the type to care about such things. always wanting to help out others, volunteer and merely be someone with a purpose in life. helping others, making suffering animals feel comforted that they have someone. it is why, she decided to save up slowly but surely, wanting to use whatever of her saving funds to open an animal shelter in her name one day. it would be hers. no one else to answer to. while being a psychology major in hopes of figuring out the way the mind works, wanting to clinically help humans who cannot help themselves when they're 'genuinely' suffering from a mental illness.

not like those using mental illnesses as an excuse. it is what brought bahiyyih over to the lake facing the city's silhouette, late at evening. her group assignment has been stressing her out - for one, no one in the group does what they're told to do. everyone has their fair share of parts needed to get done, yet, no one bothered to take part in it. leaving all the work for poor bahi to do. she's not someone who would sit there and take their , but she needed a good score on this piece and if their group dynamic didn't work - their professor has this stupid belief, that if one person acts up, then the entire group is to be blamed. what logic is that?!

she cannot even wrap her head around that as she slipped down to lay against the plush softness of the grass, her poloroid camera long forgotten - coming over to the lake to take pictures of the scenery and create some additional memories of her time in the city. away from the u.s, from the life she's used to. it's a solid change - but a change no less that she welcomed with opened arms - wishing to make this world somehow, a better place. if only she had more friends to talk to - lament her worries to, not overprotective family who could use their money to rid someone - if only....
