@huening bahiyyih. the sounds of rushed footsteps echoed down a random alleyway as anton frantically rushed through the small space. in one arm craddled an injured puppy while the other had his phone's gps pulled up showing him the way to the nearest vet clinic.

everything happened so fast. after the band finished practicing, the young bassist player headed on his usual walk back home but his attention was suddenly diverted when the jarring screech of tires filled his ears. his eyes, drawn to the commotion, followed the speeding car. however, his peripheral vision caught a glimpse of a small, beige form lying motionless in the middle of the asphalt pavement. upon taking a closer look, he realized it was a puppy visibly harmed and barely breathing. the sight pierced anton's heart, compelling him to act. he went to scoop up the fragile creature then hurriedly typed in a search for the nearest vet clinic.

which leads to where anton is right now, leaning over the desk of the clinic's lobby after he ungraciously bursted through the doors. apologies were the last thing on his mind. his gaze swept over the young lady behind the reception desk. "do you guys do emergency operations?" he blurted out in english as he motioned towards the delicate bundle in his arms, "i know it's late at night but it's really urgent, i can cover the cost for any inconvenience caused." he continued to ramble on, oblivious to the fact that he continued to speak in english.
