Yikes. Jaehyun's ears twitched to the footsteps of a cardiac doctor he was well acquainted with in a manner he abhorred. Some doctors straight up had no social skills and Dr. Park was a picture perfect example of that. Now, Jaehyun didn't dock people for being unsociable. He wasn't the most social person himself, after all, but Dr. Park? He was on another level of ry that reminded Jaehyun of the haughty upper class bigots that surrounded him at the yacht clubs, the type that would yell at their golf caddies for being too clumsy or slow.

Being a nurse wasn't an easy job. The hours were long, the labor was strenuous, and the environment was as toxic as can be between patients and management. The nurses had to keep morale up between themselves to make the best of their careers and, for Jaehyun, that meant he took it upon himself to be the scapegoat when doctors and management needed someone to yell at. When Dr. Park came bursting into the station, he locked eyes with the nurse in charge of his patient and signaled her to stay put as he stepped up to the doctor. "Do you mind stepping outside, doctor?" Jaehyun asked with a cordial smile as he obstructed Seonghwa's view of the nervous novice nurse who Jaehyun instructed to stay put.

@jung jaehyun. Having been a cardiac doctor Seonghwa had a variety of patients that he would find himself taking care of. It was a young pediatric patient that had been born with heart problems, luckily for them the problem had been caught early so Seonghwa was familiar with the family enough. However, when a small decline in the baby's health had showed, Seonghwa immediately found himself concerned, though it wasn't a prominent issue that was serious, if continued it would definitely not fair well for anyone.

Seonghwa made his way to the nicu unit, the nurses there he had been somewhat familiar with, and one of them had been particularly known to get under Seonghwa's skin. Walking up to the nurses station, he tapped his pen on the counter gaining the attention of the nurses and aides behind the desk. "What nurse has my patient?" He asked, with one patient, he hoped the nurses were competent enough to know who he was talking about.

@im yeojin. Once his phone buzzed Donghyuk quickly looked down at his phone to see the replies, a small smile pressed on his face. He set the phone down on the table while he waited for the other to come down. Since it was later in the evening there weren't that many people there, as most of the traffic had gone home for the day, but there were still some patients, workers, and visitors sitting at different areas through out the cafeteria. Having frequented the hospital enough to visit Yeojin since the two had started dating, Donghyuk had quickly fell into a nice routine, he'd set himself up at a table and make sure everything was ready for his girlfriend when she came. That way she could enjoy the small break she was able to get with a peace of mind.

Seeing her step into the area, he couldn't help the wide grin that grew on his face, it was cheesy, but he would never be able to get over the way she looks when she's working. He waved a hand up and called over to her to approach, standing up to greet her as usual when he visited on breaks. "Hey, babe." He approached her placing a small peck on her cheek before sitting down. "Left overs is Kimchi stew, hope that's okay?" He asked lightly before handing her the thermos keeping the food warm for her.

@kim donghyuk. it was mentally draining today, and it's not fully the end! then again it’s what she’d signed up for when finally stepping into this field of work, so she’d have to just deal with… any suffers. thankfully it was almost break time for yeojin and she’d felt excitement towards that moment. she began to hope that the rest of her shift would fly by till a moment of peace, as it had been semi planned to meet up with her lover, donghyuk. the two had legit plans in set but nothing too major that would cause a lot if missed by either one of them. either way, wishing to do something sweet, spending quality time with her boyfriend was still wonderful.. even if it was only for a couple minutes like now, or like soon.

yeojin emitted a soft sigh of relief that most of her schedule would be done, it’s just… longer than originally expected. hah, those calmness feeling wouldn't last too long, but it's much better than a stressed mindset, or else yeojin could run the risk of her emotions going a little haywire suddenly. she’d been dragged out of her pondering thoughts with her phone dinging, alerting her of unread texts. it should be okay to check her device anyways as she's currently alone in this room, not really working at the moment as she’d been gathering her tools and putting them away. yeojin grabbed hold of her phone, unlocking it to read, making a swift conjuring up a response in her mind before answering.

the woman plopped her phone back down once the second message was sent. yeojin reached over the counter to open the cabinet resting above the table with one hand, using her other to plop the thermometer and stethoscope in there, genuinely not caring that it’s not fully organized, she can deal with it later. yeojin hummed, content by the outcome and grabbed her badge, casually plopping at back onto her uniform and phone, not believing she needed to have anything else on her person before stepping out of the office as to make her way over to the open cafeteria. the journey wasn't that long and there weren't too many co workers left here in the building, she wasn't alone in that sense, luckily but at least no one stopped her in her tracks while heading down to the open area.

@im yeojin. After getting out of his schedules of the day, Donghyuk had went home to take a quick shower and freshen up before getting some small left overs and heating them up. His plans for the day had slightly been ruined when Yeojin had mentioned that she would have to stay over for work. Of course, he couldn't blame her, as it was just how things were in the line of work she was in, but it still put a damper on things when you have plans set in mind. The male could bring up what he initally wanted to talk to her about here when he drops food off, but he wasn't sure if it would be a good idea to mention in the middle of her shift.

Once he made it to the hospital, he went to the open cafeteria that had just a few other persons in it, and the smell of the sterile surfaces plagued his nose. He sat down at one of the tables placing the sack of food that he had brought down, and brought out his phone.
