Alley

@Choi San Minhyuk could tell San was different from him, but he was really used to one night stands. It was easier for him to have a night of passion instead of building anything. He really thought he wasn’t boyfriend material. If he was in any relationship it would risk the one he loved, so this only sounds stupid for him. Not getting attached was a lot better. The elder really wasn’t used to the atmosphere the younger boy made him face right now.
“I never loved someone that way, you are pretty correct.” Minhyuk was a bit quiet when he heard him speaking about fostered kids. “That’s very nice of you.” His voice was sincere even when he didn’t have time to do such things at all. His head was full of thoughts, no one really knew his background, his biological dad was murdered by him, but easily he could be one of those kids instead. If his father managed to kill his mother instead, it would probably be his destiny as well.
Minhyuk just followed San, hoping those kids didn’t have a dark history but it was possible.

@Lee Minhyuk The more Minhyuk spoke the more San realized this man was simply not into romance, they were indeed opposites. San would never admit that he enjoyed romance, obviously with a little spice to it but opening up to another person was not something he is prepared to do anytime soon...at least.
They continued to walk along as he subconsciously lead the way over to the foster care home that he always visited nearby, the sound of cars driving, people chattering, laughing, and crying can all be heard as they did so.
"You sound like someone who has never loved or someone that has but got severely traumatized by it....as for the kids. If you had said that you hated kids, I would still drag you along. These kids are fosters, they don't have visitors that play with them or bring enjoyment to them on a regular basis....As for is this something, I always do." he paused at his words while he solemnly glances ahead as they wait for the cross walk sign to change. The silence lingering with a hint of sadness, the expression obvious on San's visage but soon returns to his usual stoic demeanor.
" I visit twice a week, so I guess its regular?"
With that response, he continues to lead the way across the street, walking just slow enough for Minhyuk to not be left behind, keeping his hands stuffed into the front pockets of his hoodie.

@Choi San Minhyuk chuckled at San’s words, looking at him and nodding. “Well, for me it’s actually the opposite, takes away all my stress, so I do enjoy one night stands. I do have a lot. Of course it can be more than a one night stand if it was fun enough.” He said and smiled at the other guy, thinking both of them were really different from each other.
“Oh-” The older guy looked at him quite confused, helping kids really wasn’t his thing, it just was a thing he never did before. After all he was busy with missions that indeed included beating each other’s asses.
“I don’t hate kids… I just- never… helped them?” He mumbled and scanned San up. “So is this something you always do? How do we even help them?” He really looked at him with curious eyes.

@Choi San Yeosang tilted his head as he heard San’s explanation and he chuckled, lightly. The male gave the other a small smile and shook his head a bit. “I guess I do not want to be attacked, so I’ll be careful.” he told the other as he walked next to him. He also pushed his hands in his pockets and noticed the other’s action when he mentioned the blood on his face. “It’s all good and gone now.” the blonde haired male reassured San. “From here? Like... this planet, city, or area?” he asked, playfully.

@Lee Minhyuk Hearing the comment about one night stands had San scrunch his nose in pure distaste.
"Oh yuck....one night stands are stressful. Bouncing around and such. Not for me but once in awhile I end up in a odd situation such as that. Does that mean you have lots?" He questions some more, side glancing Minhyuk as if he is trying to figure this man out.
His brows scrunching when he is questioned about the children shelter. He thought it was obvious why they would go there....guess not.
"To help kids....? Why else would be go there? To beat each others asses?" His voice lingered with sarcasm as he shakes his head.
"I mean if you hate kids, then don't go. I'm still going and I thought you were 'babysitting' me?"

@Kang Yeosang The returned questioned had San quirk a brow, only to emit a low scoff.
"Just because I want to be left alone doesn't mean I can't care about another persons safety? I mean...if you wish to be attacked by a group of hoodlums around the corner. Be my guest, because they are lingering especially during this time of night. I'd rather not be a witness to that." He states sternly, before chuckling at the cave from Yeosang.
Walking along side Yeosang, San hummed a bit before side glancing when they mentioned blood still lingering. Reaching up with his hand, he casually wipes the spot using his fingers before shoving his hands back into his sweatpant pockets.
"Are you from here? Something tells me....you aren't? You seem...rather innocent and I don't mean that in a insulting manner." He tries to explain.

@Choi San The glare he received from San made him confused, like he knew he was hiding things from him, but also he could never guess such a crazy thing. And it wasn’t like he had a lover, he really didn’t.
“If you call one night stands lovers- so yeah I have many lovers.” He chuckled and shook his head, not really caring if the other boy would believe him or not.
Minhyuk cleaned the table after himself as well, he just nodded and started following San. “Children’s shelter? What are we going to do there?” He looked so confused, it didn’t sound like his usual missions for sure.

@Choi San As he heard San’s voice and his words, he stopped where he was and turned to look at him again, a confused expression on his face. “I really don’t understand you... You want me to leave you alone, yet...” he began and shook his head, a soft sigh leaving his lips. “Why do you care if I get hurt though? You barely know me.” he added and tilted his head. Yeosang pushed his hands in his pockets and glanced down. “Fine, but let’s be quick and quiet.” he replied as he thought for a bit. As he glanced up and saw the other’s gesture, he walked over to follow him. His eyes scanned San’s face as he saw the blood and he lifted his hand to point at a spot. “You have some... blood there too.”

@Kang Yeosang San kept his stern expression as Yeosang spoke, their words not affecting him at all.
He slowly stood up as well while stretching out his arms before emitting a sigh.
"Well, caring doesn't help me right now. I go through this on a daily basis. Anyway, I'll walk you to a safer place and I'm not taking no as an answer. This alley isn't ing safe so unless you want to get jumped or attacked. You'll take my help right now."
He explains, his tone stern as San was not kidding. He never played with anyones safety, because he knew how terrifying the streets can be during the night life.
He gestured for Yeosang to lead the way, as he patiently awaited to follow along.
He took a moment to reach into his pocket and pull out a handkerchief to wipe off the sweat upon his face along with the blood.

@Lee Minhyuk Something about San's gut led him to believe that Minhyuk is lying.
He didn't know what about though, so for a few seconds. He sat there, glaring in the direction of the older male.
"Right....no lover. Whatever."
He decided to not press further on the topic as his shoulders raised into a shrug. Minhyuk's life was not San's concern nor did he care.
He stood up from his seat, ensuring to take his plate of empty food and drink towards the trashbins to throw away any remaining crubs before setting the plate on top of the bin for the employees to take care of.
He bowed his head politely to them before returning to the table where he glances down at Minhyuk.
"I no longer am interested in your long history. You ready to go? We gotta stop by the childrens shelter." He casually stated whilst shoving his hands in the pocket of his hoodie.

@Choi San Minhyuk was glad to hear everything was okay even when he didn’t say it out loud. “We can go… Is that so? I never had a lover.” He chuckled at those words and smiled to himself. The older one was almost always busy and dating wasn’t his thing, just one night stands. For some seconds he was thinking about Yunho, feeling chills a bit, he still didn’t believe they actually slept together. Knowing it would be bad if someone knew about that. They were step brothers but no one really knew any of that about them. “Bored? Maybe a little, but I'm not the type to spill my long history just like that.” He chuckled again, but the phone cutted their small talk.
“ some people up? Who called you?” He asked him with curiosity.

@Choi San Yeosang’s eyes widened as he heard San, letting out a small sigh as he felt a bit hurt by them. He was only trying to help, but perhaps it was none of his business. ”Well, for your information, I actually did care, but if you do not want me to, you know what, take care of it yourself... and no, I’ll be fine.” he said as he frowned and his heels, also not wanting to be babied.

@Kang Yeosang San couldn't help but scrunch his face at Yeosang's words, he wasn't ever fond of someone verbally telling him how to take care of himself when he obviously knew common sense.
"You know....I don't need some worrying about me. You can cut the crap of caring because I always hear that . Honestly, you should've said something to the cab driver because thats annoying as and unsafe in this area. Should be smarter in these types of situations Yeosang. Do you need me to catch you another cab?" He offers while bringing a hand up to ruffle his own hair as he annoyingly sighs.

@Choi San Yeosang kept a comfortable distance between the two of them as he didn’t want to be all up in the other’s face. As he heard San’s answer and noticed his expression, he bit his lip. So, he was indeed hurt... that was not good. “Do you need some help? Can I get you anything?” he asked and peeked around, wondering if there was a pharmacy nearby. “Oh, well... the cab driver dropped me at a wrong stop and I didn’t want to anger him or make him go back, so I decided to walk. I’ll be careful... and fine. Seems like I am in better shape than you for now.” he let out.

@Lee Minhyuk Fully refocusing onto the conversation at hand, San merely shook his head prior to his actual verbal response.
"No, I'm fine. Just easily distracted, I guess you could say....but in other news. How long do we plan on staying here to eat? Don't you have big plans? You come off as someone who has a lover or something..."
San is blunt when he speaks, merely observing the older males demeanor and verbiage.
It would appear Minhyuk cared a lot about people, specifically Yunho. Which San caught on pretty quickly. Finding it rather amusing if anything.
"Perhaps.....for once. You are bored? If so, maybe you can tell me about your long history with this gang and how you came into the mix? Or-" his words are paused as his phone starts to buzz off the hook.
He quickly checks the messages being left before glancing up to Minhyuk.
"Well might be a conversation for another day. You and I have to go some people up."

@Kang Yeosang Finally coming face to face with a familiar person and hearing Yeosang state his name.
San inwardly cussed, mentally of course.
The obvious draining expression plastered upon his visage as he realized that he just had to bump into someone he KNEW tonight of all nights.

He slowly pulled his legs back in so they weren't stretched out, mentally preparing himself for the worrying questions. Just like that- boom. The questions began.
Responding in a calm manner,
"Blonde hair business man. I don't look hurt. I /am/ hurt and I'm fine. Nothing too concerning for you at least. Real question is why are you roaming the streets at night? Don't you know that there are terrible nasty people in this world...?" He states rather firmly- despite his tough exterior. San was a human being after all, he knew the consequences of the world.

@✪ Jung Yunho As Yunxi emerged from the side of the wall, Yunxi was swiftly reminded of the face of the man Yunxi had once promised his life, his world, and his eternity to. He was older now, bags now marred those sweet doe eyes and the effects of what Yunxi could only assume was status and infamy now slung over Yunho's shoulders. Yunho had always been taller than Yunxi, and as the glow of the amber streetlights illuminated Yunho's cervid features, Yunxi approached the man. Thin eyes narrowed, lowering his gun just for a moment before Yunxi's hands reached forward to very quickly pat down the Gang leader--Upon confirming that Yunho was telling the truth, Yunxi swiftly pulled away without a momentary linger, sheathing the cold metal of his gun into his holster before he narrowed his gaze up at the other. Hearing Yunho's question, Yunxi paused for a moment. Silent once more before the younger of the two spoke bitterly, "Fine. Are you the one in charge of the arms trade?" Yunho was a stranger. Whatever there was of the past, Yunxi had buried for dead.

@Choi San “Fair enough.” Minhyuk nodded to himself, he also tried to give people what they deserved, most of the time. It seemed like San didn’t like his joke, he just shook his head. Again it seemed like he was there but his head was spacing out. Looking at him when the younger boy finally looked back at him he chuckled softly.
“Well I asked if you are okay, and before that I said your actions makes you who you are.” He nodded to the confused guy. He crossed his arms and blinked a bit.
“So, is there something wrong? Or bothering you? You seemed quite tense.” He looked at him with curiosity, usually if he wa nice to people he didn’t know it waas to flirt, he wasn’t sure if he was a great friend as he didn’t really have close friends. Yunho was close to him but they grew up together and he wasn’t sure if they really were friends, right now he wasn’t sure what was going with both of them at all, everything was a little bit crazy.

@Choi San Yeosang had not expected to actually bump into anyone at this hour - or rather, he had not hoped to do so, but to his bad luck, he happened to meet someone there. He hadn’t been paying attention though as his eyes remained on the ground and he suddenly tripped, falling down with a soft gasp. As he peeked up, rubbing his hands on his thighs, he noticed a familiar face - one that he had seen at the bar around here. “San?” he asked and narrowed his eyes. He didn’t know him really yet, but he didn’t remember his lips being busted like that. He sat up in the street and stood up, brushing his hands on his thighs. “Are you... okay? You look hurt.” he commented. “And yeah, I don’t... normally come by this place.”

@Lee Minhyuk "Rude is an understatement. I give what people give me, I think its a fair trade off." He states with a small shrug. He only thought that was how it should be at least.
If someone is nice, he is also nice but in small increments.
The wink from Minhyuk had San scrunch his nose in slight annoyance, not understanding why this grown man was winking at him.
Once more his attention gets redirected to another conversation, a few tables down. He has officially lost focus on the current conversation, but when he hears Minhyuk talk once more. He flinches back to focus on Minhyuk.
"I-what...Huh?" He responds back, his eyes showing a hint of confusion.
"What were we talking about....?" He questions calmly.
If someone was paying close attention they could see San fidgeting with his fingers, leg bouncing as he becomes anxious and slightly overwhelmed by sitting for too long. But he would never admit it nor notices half of the actions he does when his mind starts to wander.

@Kang Yeosang Late night in the city is dangerous to all and everyone unless you could handle yourself.
San happened to be sitting right outside the exit door to an underground fighting ground to grab fresh air and rest his legs before continuing his journey home.
He sat on the concrete styled step, behind a wall with a black sweater that had a hoodie over his head, grey sweatpants and sneakers. His lip busted open and still wearing his fighting tape around his bruised knuckles.
Anyone could see that he got beat up, but he also did major damage to his opponent.

He took a moment to emit out a long sigh as he glances up to the night sky, stretching out his legs but with him doing so. He tripped someone.
His eyes darting to a man with blonde hair now fallen to the ground, whilst San merely stares at him with a cold distant blank expression.

"You look like you don't belong here." Was all he said.

How did he end up in this alley? He knew this wasn’t exactly the safest part of the city, but he just had to be quick about it and try to be quiet. He’d ignore anyone he’d see and keep his eyes on the ground. Surely that would be safe, no? He wouldn’t get into anyone’s business. The male made his way down the alleyway as quickly as he could, head bowed down and hands in his pockets. He regretted not having his earphones with him to block out sounds, but maybe he was safer like this, also holding his keys in his hands in case anyone came close to attack him. The cab driver that was supposed to bring him to another area of town had taken a wrong turn and stopped him nearby. Why had he even given him tip if he didn’t do his job properly? Yeosang couldn’t be mean to the cab driver after all, so he had just told him to leave him there and he would walk... But now, he regretted it, feelings chills.

@Choi San Minhyuk nodded to his words as he was looking at him, San seemed more sincere with him, he actually liked that. After all, if he was going to take him to restaurants it would be easier to speak more freely with each other, making things easier and less like a task. “I see… but you do seem like you can be rude if someone would piss you off…” He chuckled and winked at him. “But sure, we all have to live with our own actions, bad or good, this is what makes you- yourself.” He said while drinking his americano till the drink was over. He was also finishing his toast while looking at San and not sure why he looked unfocused all of the sudden. “Are you okay?” He asked him while leaning back on his chair, feeling like smoking some cigarette, wondering if he should just do it later.

@✪ Luo Yunxi The moon didn’t do any justice for his beauty that Yunho always fond and attracted of. Even with dim light, his eyes could clearly see how beautiful Yunxi is with his phoenix like eyes, sharp pointed nose and a thin but kissable lips. He didn’t change much from his memory, still an ambitious kid back in the day. The mighty gang leader’s heart skipped a beat as his mind rewinded their happy and loving memories back when they were together. From the moment when Yunho confessed to him after a fancy dinner, their passionate love, their fights and ended when Yunho had to cut off all ties with him after the death of his father. They said time heals but for Yunho, those feelings lingered. The only reason why he never fall for someone although everyone trying their best to get his affection is solely because of Yunxi. Deep inside, he hope they’re able to meet again and rekindle their feelings, not this kind of meeting. Yunho covered his identity as soon to be gang leader as much as possible when they’re together but now, he found out about that. “I’m unarmed.” He said as the other male lower the gun slowly, which Yunho followed after. Yunho clenched on his fist tight, trying to composed himself and reminded that they’re now a stranger. “How are you?” He braved himself and asked a stupid question, hoping the other would response. Even if he’s not, at least they have met each other once again. Yunho knew if he made a wrong move, Yunxi will shoot him with no hestitation, so he stay, deep in his own thoughts, drowned in a memories of them.

@Lee Minhyuk The question asked by Minhyuk was an easy one to answer for San.
He has thought long and hard about this exact conversation previously before with himself.
The words leaving his lips casually without hesitation.
"Its not who I'm disappointing, its what I did to disappoint them. My actions are my actions and I carry myself a specific way that proves I'm confident, genuine and loyal. I don't intentionally go out of my way to hurt people because thats rude. I definitely WILL stand up for myself though when it matters." He does his best to explain himself, while he exhales a sigh at the words he expressed.

His irises taking into account at the sudden shift in body language from Minhyuk. Which in that moment had San hold back a click of his tongue. Bingo- he thought.
His lithe fingers casually tapping along the table before them, pushing the plate of food away from him with his other hand as he flickers his attention between Minhyuk and the surrounding customers.
Due to his slight disorder, his attention span starting to wager. Its obvious that he is having difficulty focusing in the moment-

@✪ Jung Yunho There was one thing Yunxi made sure to abide by, and it was to never harm an unarmed man... Unfortunately, such a creed was a sentiment not shared amongst those of his force. When he heard that there was a deal being amongst the most notorious in a few days, it was only natural that Yunxi also enact his side of the plan to detain the criminals. Little did Yunxi know, that upon the arrival of the two criminals and their bodyguards, Yunxi would find a familiar face. Jung Yunho. The man who haunted Yunxi's memories, the man who Yunxi had once desired like no other, the man who tore every piece of Yunxi's heart with every unfulfilled, empty promise. But Yunxi waited. Conversing with those around him, phoenix eyes trailing over to those of his force in position. After what felt like hours of watching Yunho and the other criminal conversing for hours--Yunxi did not know who shot the first shot.

Pandemonium erupted. Shots were fired and surely, whoever amongst the bodyguards were armed and deserving of injury. But as Yunxi's subordinates shot at the opposing sides, Yunxi hurried to guide the people. They would be caught in the cross-fire, cross-fire that Yunxi was not sure who had begun what. In the midst of madness, Yunxi caught the sight of Yunho's retreating form followed by his personal guard. They were getting away. They were getting away. "Chief Luo, We've detained the suspects. There are casualties but none from our side." Yunxi grit his teeth, watching as Yunho disappeared through the doors of the front within the chaos of civilians and the echo of his lieutenant ringing in Yunxi's earbud. "What is the status of Mr. Choi?" Silence. Silence of all things. "Lieutenant--" - "He was killed in the crossfire, Chief Luo. I'm sorry." Cold washed through Yunxi. Anger. Frustration. Who fired the first shot? "We'll talk about it back at the station. I'll chase down Jung Yunho."

Yunxi trailed after Yunho, Weaving through the streets as if they were the veins on the back of his hand and shouting orders to those he had taken along with him to comb the streets and alleys of the Pigneto district. Gun in hand, Yunxi moved in quick succession when he found Yunho and his bodyguard. The guard fired as Yunxi moved to hide behind a wall of the building before he too fired. Aiming the bullet to hit Yunho's bodyguard's knee before Yunxi ran after Yunho, kicking the cold steel to the side out of his reach until Yunxi took off running after him. Weaving through the streets until the two ended in an alley. It was almost laughable, how Yunxi would be the one staring Yunho down through the barrel of a gun. "Are you armed?" Yunxi began, drawing in a slow breath before he began to slowly lower the gun.

@Choi San His eyes kept looking at San, being quite curious about him and who was he afraid to disappoint as he didn’t seem the type to care. “Do you really care if you disappoint someone? I mean, you seem like you care about nothing, is that a mask?” He said and tried to see if he would even want to open up a little bit.

“If something goes wrong, if I have a gun I shoot, if not… fight. You know it depends on the situation.” He said with a small smile to the younger guy. He blinked when San spoke about his leader. “I mean, of course we are close… we grew up together.” He said gently, his look made him cough a bit like he was trying to say they were suspiciously close, but he tried to keep his poker face. Not going to tell that guy he just slept with his step brother. “Of course I love him… I didn’t speak about that kind of love and you know that. I love and respect our great leader.” He looked at him quietly, looking a bit confused.

@Lee Minhyuk The serious tone that lingered between Minhyuk's words had San wondering how many people truly wanted Minhyuk and Yunho's head as a prize.
He merely pursed his lips out in thought, keeping eye contact with Minhyuk.
The silence obvious...as they sat there quietly while San listened to the other males words.

"Hm." He briefly hummed as he eyed Minhyuk in pure curiosity, finding the latter to be really protective over Yunho. Makes him even more curious than he already was.
"Interesting....I'd be curious to see what you do when the background checks don't go as planned.
You sound really close to sir Yunho. You guys REALLY close...?" He questions, quirking a brow with a mischievous grin curving upward upon his features.
"Some would argue that you state you don't believe in love but it sounds like you love your boss."

@✪ Luo Yunxi ‘Damn, why it has to be him?’ Panting, Yunho ran as fast as he could, checking on police who’s after him occasionally. This is the first time he ran away from the local authorities due to his own fault, trying his best to escaped shooting bullets from behind. Just an hour ago, Yunho successfully closed a deal with a client, who happened to be one of the wanted criminals by authorities. Lucky for the police force, they caught mot just one, but two people they wanted the most. Shooting happened between two sides, resulting in the death of his bodyguard and the wanted criminal. While hiding, he heard a familiar voice. A voice he remembered with all of his heart and a voice he love to hear during his university day. ‘No way’ trying to focus once again, he reloaded his bullets and out from his hiding place, pointed the gun to a police who’s in front of him. His eyes widened and mouth open, unable to believe who’s in front of him. Luo Yunxi, a man who has once filled his heart, the man who he promise a marriage to and a man who’s still lingered in his heart. Unconsciously, his grip loosen, giving a chance for his junior to shoot on his gun and fell down somewhere. It snapped him back to the reality, there’s no way he would be able to talk to Yunxi in this situation and if he’s dead, how he would be able to talk with him? With no weapon on hand, he swiftly ran away from them, donging some bullets on the way. With crowds and civillians ahead, he turned to an old and dark alley, which unfortunately, lead to an end. ‘!’ He looked around but no way out. Turned around, he raised up his hand in defeat “Yunxi, it’s me.” He looked straight onto his eyes, hoping to get some attention and soft spot on him.

@Choi San “Sure thing, it’s not easy being chased all the time, believe me. This is why background checks are really necessary.” Minhyuk’s voice was quite serious about that matter, it was part of his job to make sure no one hurts the head of the gang, his beloved brother and of course his little brother but also needed to keep himself safe as he wanted to take care of his adopted family.
Eating from his own toast was a really good one so he was enjoying himself. He was staring at San for some seconds to those words, he probably had no idea something happened between him and Yunho but he almost choked on his toast, drinking his americano to calm down his heart which started to beat so fast. “Don’t say nonsense.” He said while trying to keep a poker face.

It really surprised Minhyuk to see San’s serious side, when he said those words, sure he wasn’t in love in the past at all. But disappointment was hurt as hell, he had so much disappointments in his life from the closest people. From his biological father, he agreed with him even when it seemed like San didn’t want to be a disappointment himself, like he never wanted to disappoint Yunho, he would give everything to keep his big brother safe. “You're right… disappointment is the worst.” His voice was serious as well and his look was a bit darker. “Oh well the world is indeed ty… I believe in care and being close to someone… but love? Sorry it’s so hard for me to believe in that.” He was opening to San more than he expected and it made him a bit quiet, returning to eat his toast.
