*chuckles softly and nods at you, takes everything we need, starting to mix the flour with water and eggs and makes the dough, looking at you softly*

@✿┆ k. yugyeom。ʳᵉᵈ ᵖᵃⁿᵈᵃ Minghao quirks a brow when Yugyeom repeats how he addresses him, unsure if it wasn't a favorite for the latter.
"Oh? Yeah, sir Yugyeom. Not sarcasm either- I know that some can mistake the 'sir' part as sarcasm but I promise its not."
He ends up explaining himself to avoid any misunderstandings, while he curiously watches Yugyeom begin to slice apple slices whilst he hands over his card to the cashier, gesturing that he is also paying for the apples also.
He is still attentive to the discussion before emitting a soft chuckle as he purses his lips slightly in thought.
"Yeah..could be difficult to actually get to know a person in a huge crowd that is having three to five different discussions. You're welcome though! Honestly, you looked like you needed a break based off your atmosphere but that could be simply projecting my own aura onto others.." His words are casual, not awkward compared to when he is in a crowd. Finally taking his card back to slide into his wallet then grabbing the plastic bags with all the snacks as he proudly stands.
"Buying extra for later to take home for us both
Thinking ahead, buddy. Also- Ming is fine. Would you consider us not close friends? Or are you wishing to be close friends? Because I do warn- I treat my close friends very differently." He expreses cheekily while standing nearby but not hovering as he patiently waits, soon the sound of him crunching on a dried mango can be heard once again.

@✿┆ x. minghao。ˢⁿᵒʷ ˡᵉᵒᵖᵃʳᵈ Once having Minghao’s preference in mind, Yugyeom puts the red apple back and picks up two decent yellow ones. ‘These will do..’ he thinks before continuing to listen to Ming.
“Sir Yugyeom?” He enjoys the way Ming talks. “Honestly, same. I just jump in wherever I feel most confident. However, the chaos is real in those other places. So, I’m actually glad you decided to ask me to hang out. One on one is a lot better in my opinion.” He expresses whilst grabbing an apple cutter, knife and cutting board. Glancing over to Minghao’s stash of junk food his eyes widening.
“It looks like we’ll be set for the next week.” He teases, placing the apples in the sink to be washed. Yugyeom washes his hands quickly before returning to the apples. Giving them a good scrub and patting them dry with a towel. He heads toward the counter once again.
“My name, a nickname, I don’t mind. I have a lot of nicknames around here.” He nonchalantly chimes whilst using the apple cutter to quickly slice the apples.
“What about you? Do you mind if I call you Ming? Or is that reserved for close friends?” He picks up the knife to begin carving out the middle of the chunks to remove the excess core.

@✿┆ k. yugyeom。ʳᵉᵈ ᵖᵃⁿᵈᵃ As Minghao is shuffling up and down the aisles gathering his choices of chips and jerky. He is still listening closely to Yugyeom , his head peeking out from one aisle as he hears the question. His spotted leopard ears flickering in interest before his lips purse out.
"Yellow please. Also I don't blame you for enjoying the silence more. I'm always lost in most conversations in the public rooms because my mind tends to wander elsewhere or I get distracted and linger away...also. Snack time is never a joke, Sir Yugyeom." He responds casually while he steps out of the aisle, walking closer to the counter with a piece of dried mango between his lips as he sets his items down on the countertop. He doesn't hesitate to reach for his wallet thats in his sweatpants pocket, humming a little to himself.
"Oh yeah- do you care that I call you by your name? I know some individuals may prefer to be called a nickname or something."

@✿┆ x. minghao。ˢⁿᵒʷ ˡᵉᵒᵖᵃʳᵈ “I usually just see you in passing, I’m not often in the other places around here. I enjoy peace and quiet for the most part.” He explains, knowing that it probably sounded weird to Minghao. Yugyeom could promise there was no funny business.
“Precisely, you get it.” His eyes widen slightly with amusement present on his face at the way Minghao holds himself up straight.
“Snack time is no joke to you, is it?” He teases, but fully trusted that Ming would pick out great options. “I’ll be careful, no worries.” He had barely finished that sentence before he heard a myriad of bags being manhandled. Yugyeom lightly shakes his head and heads to the counter where apples sat in a bowl.
“Oh, Minghao, do you have a preference on apple? Green, Red, Yellow?” He asks in a somewhat louder register whilst picking up a red one, thumb caressing over the shiny peel of the fruit.

@✿┆ k. yugyeom。ʳᵉᵈ ᵖᵃⁿᵈᵃ As he is completely focused at observing the aisles of snacks, like a child in his favorite store. Brown irises showing a sense of enjoyment before he glances over to Yugyeom with a quirked brow.
"How do you know I eat those...? Do you see me often?" He questions as he doesn't quite remember Yugyeom being around when he does eat his favorite snacks, though he could be mistaken.
"Sweet and savory is a good choice, makes the options more versatile too." He comments as his spotted ears flicker in excitement when he hears Yugyeom say he can pick out junk food.
He now fully faces Yugyeom with one finger in the air as he stands straight.
"I shall not disappoint! Be safe cutting apples, don't hurt your fingers, yeah?" He finishes off his sentence before scurrying down the aisles like a mad man, ensuring to get as much stuff in his arms as possible. The sounds of bags scrunching in the background can be heard.

@✿┆ j. jungkook。ⁿᵉᵗʰᵉʳˡᵃⁿᵈ ᵈʷᵃʳᶠ -notices that you have premade noodles and I point to them-
We can home make the noodles, they’ll be way tastier that way. We just need all-purpose flour, water and an egg.
-my sleeves are rolled up at this point, an apron adoring my torso so I can keep my clothes clean-

@✿┆ x. minghao。ˢⁿᵒʷ ˡᵉᵒᵖᵃʳᵈ Yugyeom is patient as he waits for Minghao to share his preferred snacks. Occasionally meeting Ming’s eyes when he glances over, a simple smile displays itself on his features.
“You know, I have seen you usually holding a bag of chips or gummy worms, so, that makes sense.” He chuckles toward the end of his statement, hands now tucked into the pocket of his hoodie. The very hoodie Jungkook had given him when they went to eat out one night. That, of course, was a whole other story.
“My favorite snacks,” he turns the corner with Minghao, entering the cafeteria and watching the amazement appear on the latter’s face, “I enjoy a lot of things too, but don’t really have a favorite. Give me sweet and savory and I’m golden.” Another, softer, laughter escapes Yugyeom, now taking his turn to look over the prepared options. “I could probably prepare some apple slices real quick while you pick the junk food snacks for us? Get it done faster and we can be on our way to the lake.”

"Lots of snacks. I'll eat almost anything...but I really like potato chips and gummy candies...though I try not to eat them as often to keep a healthy body but I always fail. What about you?"
He returns the question while turning the corner into the cafeteria, the look on his face lights up as the sight of snacks as if he has never been here before but he has plenty of times.

@✿┆ k. yugyeom。ʳᵉᵈ ᵖᵃⁿᵈᵃ Thought he couldn’t clearly pick up what was provided here he turns his attention to his phone he pulled out from his pocket, scrolling through tiktok though not for long when he hears the familiar voice of a fellow panda. With a lift of his head he’s greet with the smiling and rushed state that is Yugyeom, Sangmin chuckles with amusement and stuffs his iPhone back into his pocket. “Hey, you made it…” he greeted in return, stepping beside the older male with a nod of his head. “Yeah, let’s get going. I did smell out a few good things in there.” A smile pulls at his lips as he steps inside of the cafeteria, the smell of food surrounds the area. Umber orbs darting around slowly in observation. “So where shall we start?”

@❀┆ m. sangmin。ᵖᵃⁿᵈᵃ Once Yugyeom had sent his text he sprung up from his spot on the bed. He slipped into a black hoodie to keep himself warm and slid into some sandals he had lying next to his door. After collecting his phone and room key, he left.
It wasn’t more than five minutes before he reached the cafeteria. Spotting Sangmin sniffing the air he raised a hand.
“Sangmin, I’m here!” He chimes, walking toward the alpha with a tired smile. “Shall we?” Yugyeom reaches for the cafeteria door and gestures for Sangmin to go first.

@✿┆ k. yugyeom。ʳᵉᵈ ᵖᵃⁿᵈᵃ Moments after he had exchanged texts with Yugyeom, Sangmin headed towards the cafeteria the two agreed to meet up. He’s the first to arrive, still in his sleep wear from bed; a black tee and some grey joggers. The black and white panda making his way to a find a place to sit while he waits for Yugyeom to show up and in the midst of waiting he’s looking around at the possibilities of what they could eat, his nose also sniffing in the air to seek out anything hidden.

I’m…still not really sure how it works for betas…I heard it alternates for some and others it depends on their mate or partner. It’s a little confusing haha.
