@❀┆ m. sangmin。ᵖᵃⁿᵈᵃ The sensation of Sangmin squeezing his hand so often brings a sort of comfort to Yugyeom. Even if he didn’t show it on his face, the elder felt how the latter did through the way he tightened and relaxed his hold.
“I appreciate the apology, but knowing what I know now… I couldn’t be upset with you. It would have only made it harder on you if I badgered you and tried to make you stay. That would have been so selfish, you needed to do what was right for you. In the future, if you ever feel that you need to leave, please.. just tell me. I’ll try to let you go peacefully.” Yugyeom softly explains, his eyes glistening for an entirely different reason now. Knowing that Sangmin was struggling was difficult to hear, but he was human and the mind can be a cavernous, lonely minefield.
His dark, yet soft, orbs raise to meet Sangmin’s when he’s told the reason for Sangmin’s return. Momentarily, he’s speechless at the confession. Heart rate picking up speed at each and every word that slipped past Sangmin’s lips.
“I- You… like me? Like, like me, like me?” He questions, wanting to be sure he heard Sangmin right. Now he could hear his heartbeat in his ears. His body warming and mind sprouting little blossoms of serotonin.

@✿┆ k. yugyeom。ʳᵉᵈ ᵖᵃⁿᵈᵃ Sangmin also pulls his head back when the other does so, looking into his gaze while intently listening to what Yugyeom had to say. The fact that Yugyeom had shed some tears because he left stung at his chest, he didn't expect that sort of reaction from the elder so to hear that happened left him in shock, making sure the expression didn't show on his face so Yugyeom could continue to talk without worry. In the process the younger gives his hand a gentle squeeze with each word, the beta went through a lot. Sangmin now realizing just how impactful his leave at that time was.
"I am sorry for causing you all that, it truly wasn't my intention. I had left while in a very bad head space. Though I should have let someone know, you especially. So for that I am sorry, sorry for not letting you know. You also had every right to be cold to me." Sangmin's gaze drops to their still conjoined hands, lightly brushing his thumb to the back of the elder's hand. "I returned because of you though and because I missed the environment here. While I was away.. I soon began to realize how much I actually like you. I couldn't shake the feeling, couldn't shake the thought of you."

@❀┆ m. sangmin。ᵖᵃⁿᵈᵃ Yugyeom could do this for hours, tenderly kiss and hold onto Sangmin. Each time they did he was sure he was becoming addicted. The sensations that came along with these kisses altering his brain chemistry. It’s when their lips are parted that a small sound of disapproval escapes Yugyeom, lips chasing the latter’s for an extra moment. Giving up once their foreheads are pressed together. Eyes slowly open as he’s spoken to, another squeeze is given to Sangmin’s hand. He gently parts their foreheads, leaning into the latter’s hand.
“I… When you left so suddenly after kissing me I was incredibly distraught. I thought it was my fault that you left. That I overwhelmed you because I had asked you to do it. I-I may have cried the moment I found out you went back to the city. Those passing days felt so long.. I tried to preoccupy myself. It wasn’t working and then suddenly.. you came back. I didn’t reach out first because I didn’t know the reason you left. I was surprised when you texted me. That’s why my texts might have seemed a bit cold at first.” He spills out all of the pent up emotions he had.

@✿┆ k. yugyeom。ʳᵉᵈ ᵖᵃⁿᵈᵃ Kissing Yugyeom felt like a whole new world, it was a different feeling than any kisses he’d share with anyone, but perhaps that’s also because of the fact of how much he cherished Yugyeom. A soft hum emits into the kiss with how soft lips mesh together in a chaste lip lock, another squeeze being giving to their conjoined hands and after a few more moments Sangmin reluctantly pulls away. He presses their foreheads together, the hand still at his cheek caressing gently against it, looking into his earthy orbs. “Start whenever you want to, okay?” He says tenderly.

@❀┆ m. sangmin。ᵖᵃⁿᵈᵃ The squeeze to his hand causes Yugyeom to lift his dark orbs to Sangmin’s. Skin warming so much more when in the younger’s grasp.
“I’m happy to know that you ate well. What kind of ice cream did you-“ before he can finish asking his face is turned toward Sangmin, cheeks lightly flushing at the proximity. Those gaze catching orbs of his falling flickering from the latter’s eyes to his lips. Fully fluttering closed once their lips make contact. Yugyeom vaguely tilts his head to the right, accepting those lovely brims. Those tiers that take his breath away, the ones that shift and dance so soothingly against his own. The very ones that make him forget about all his worries, even just for a few moments.

@✿┆ k. yugyeom。ʳᵉᵈ ᵖᵃⁿᵈᵃ With a sigh of content and relief Sangmin’s body goes lax from being with Yugyeom, keeping a hold on his when their conjoined hands get brought over close to the beta; the action was endearing and he gives the elder’s hand a gentle squeeze in return. “Glad you ate well. I did have dinner, I had some pizza and ice cream as dessert.”
Sangmin knows they had something to discuss, but before all of that could come he decides to lean over, lifting his feee hand to gently turn the beta’s head, pressing their lips together with his own for a slow sweet kiss, lips dancing together.

@❀┆ m. sangmin。ᵖᵃⁿᵈᵃ Yugyeom keeps that warm smile present the entire time he waits for Sangmin to climb on the bed. The soft kiss and holding of his hand turns that grin into a somewhat timid one. There was something about being in his room, hearing those words and experiencing those feelings that made him this way.
“I missed you too. My dinner was great, my stomach is happy. Have you eaten?” Yugyeom questions, bringing Sangmin’s hand closer, his other hand holding onto their conjoined hands, his thumb brushing along Sangmin’s.

@✿┆ k. yugyeom。ʳᵉᵈ ᵖᵃⁿᵈᵃ The light of the projector is what shows where Yugyeom is, smiling as his eyes sees the beta sitting down and greets him brightly. Once he’s invited further inside Sangmin enters completely, making sure to shut and lock the door behind him so they wouldn’t be disturbed. Walking to the bed and kicks off his shoes before taking a seat next to the elder, a tender smile on his lips, leaning over to press a small kiss to his lips, reaching to take his hand in a secure hold. “I missed you. I hope you’ve had dinner.”

@❀┆ m. sangmin。ᵖᵃⁿᵈᵃ Yugyeom had been sitting on his bed watching a movie on a projector when Sangmin walked in. The intruding light from just outside the hall alerting Yugyeom to the door being opened. He glances to the door and smiles warmly.
“Sangmin, hey!” He chimes happily, though he felt the nerves beginning to pile up as they would talk about the difficulty Yugyeom had when Sangmin left. He takes a moment to pause the movie and pats an open spot on his bed. “Come, sit!”

@✿┆ k. yugyeom。ʳᵉᵈ ᵖᵃⁿᵈᵃ Thanks to Yugyeom leaving the door unlocked Sangmin was able to make it inside rather quickly, quietly making his way down to the elder's room and making sure he didn't disturb anyone else in the cabin, once in front of Yugyeom's room he gently knocks a few times before slowly opening the door and stepping inside. "Yugyeom?.."

Yugyeom sleepily steps through the door, closing it behind him. He kicks off his shoes and sheds out of his hoodie. Letting it drop to the floor as he had no desire to keep himself disciplined when he was this tired. He climbs into his already messy bed and pulls the blankets over him, snuggling deep into the mattress.
“So comfy..”

@❀┆ m. sangmin。ᵖᵃⁿᵈᵃ “Really? Were you successful in making them?” He’s curious to know if the pickles ended up tasting good. The image of Sangmin hard at work, pickling cucumbers to make the delicious, sour treat. This causes a warm smile to tug at his lips. “I’d like that. I wanna learn how to do it, teach me well, Sangmin!”

Dark, longing spheres gaze down at their fingers desperately trying to hold on. It’s as if one of them will disappear if they let go. The back of his eyes begin to sting and eventually his eyes are glistening. Yugyeom lifts his head from the door and tilts his head back briefly to blink away the determined tears. He raises his free hand, gently wiping away at his eyes as he takes in Sangmin’s words.

“I admire your will to not act on your wants no matter how desperately you feel them. I know it’s not easy.. the amount of times I thought about opening this door and falling into your embrace is..astonishing.” Yugyeom confessed, slowly pulling his fingers back. “A-anyways, we should continue eating these snacks. What’s next?”

@✿┆ k. yugyeom。ʳᵉᵈ ᵖᵃⁿᵈᵃ "And you like dill pickle as well, another thing we share. I also enjoy dill pickles though, any pickle honestly. Y'know I have been interested in trying to make my own pickles." Every time he learned something about Yugyeom that he shares with him it makes him content, a tender smile his lips. "Maybe we can make them together? Add that to our list of things to do together, what do you think?"
The time spent together right now made their time apart seem like it didn't even exist, but of course it's the wooden door separating them that keeps a reality check on Sangmin. His finger had slipped under the crack of the door for the reason of yearning for the other and when he feels the soft slender digits touch his, goosebumps form along his arms and a giddy feeling takes over. The younger slightly curls his digits with Yugyeom's giving them a squeeze as much as possible. Sangmin could relate to how the beta felt, he felt the same regarding their separation this week. The two had grown rather close, more than before, and although he doesn't admit it verbally.. Yugyeom was precious to him.
"I know.." The panda hybrid lifts up his free hand and gently presses it to the door, how he wished it wasn't in his way, but it was good that it was. Sangmin wasn't sure how much he'd be able to hold back. "If you didn't lock the door I would have.. somehow found my way in. I don't want to do that.. I don't want to be feral. Not when you mean so much to me now.. cause as much as I want to and trust me I want to.. yknow.." he feigns clearing his throat and looks around before speaking quite but loud enough just for Yugyeom to hear. "To touch you and kiss you in various places."
