@❁┆ y. jungwon。ʳᵘˢˢᶦᵃⁿ ᵇˡᵘᵉ He nods his head trying to assure both himself and the other, there wasn’t a way for them to get lost in the woods, and surely if there was… they’d be able to find their way back, right? There would be no need for a search party to come get them, at least he had hoped. Despite everything the nerves of his excitement mingled well with the tingling of his nervousness to enter the woods.

he mumbles lightly before patting jungwon’s shoulder with a single nod and nudging his head to follow the path

He snickered lightly a hand lightly holding onto Jungwon’s arms as he led them further into the woods until the lights from the main camp area were out of view.

@❁┆ s. jake。ᵇᵉᵃᵍˡᵉ once the two quit texting and he was given a timeframe to meet the older, he began to get himself ready too. both physically and mentally as he didn't bother to attempt to find how how this area of the woods are like...yknow since that'll ruin the surprise.. and perhaps the scare factor of the whole situation. once ready, he'd followed jakey to the woods, walking alongside him and gazing around the newer surroundings with semi wide eyes, tilting his head as his tail sways gently behind himself.
yeah... you should be right, hyungie, because this doesn't look like a maze..? or maybe it is--
he shrugs his shoulders and blinks a few times before glancing at the older, nods.

@❁┆ y. jungwon。ʳᵘˢˢᶦᵃⁿ ᵇˡᵘᵉ after texting jungwon, and making plans, jake got himself ready, wearing slightly comfortable clothing, in case they had to make a run for it (he was still scared of the idea of getting lost in the woods), he went to jungwon's cabin to drag him out to the haunted woods, immediately stepping in to the wooded area to help get past the initial 'scare' of entering.
they should have marked the way leading to the scares, right? so granted we are not dumb....
he pauses and blinks for a second, wondering if he should retract that statement before continuing.
then we should do just find in the woods..... right?

Gives your hand a reassuring squeeze, wanting you to know I wouldn’t leave your side. I try not to walk too far ahead of you since you’re the one holding the lantern. I could only see so far in the dark. With how close we’re walking I feel like one of us could trip over the other at some point.
Ah, I understand that, they really like jump scar-
I cut myself off, stopping in my tracks when I hear the shuffling and crunching of leaves. My adrenaline already picking up, eager to see what we’ll run into. I slowly begin to walk again when the sounds seemed to have subsided… but suddenly! There is a nerve-wrecking wail in the near distance. Quickened, thud-like footsteps charging our way! A gruesome faced goblin stepping into the radius of our lantern’s light. He’s hunched over and the makeup makes him look severely beaten and bloody. The jaw on the mask is hanging loosely as fake blood oozes from it. Gargling sounds could be heard from the behind the prosthetic. He’s swiping his disturbingly crooked fingers at us, seemingly trying to grab one of us.
Geeez-us!
I gasp, not prepared to see such a hideous sight already. My free hand resting on my chest to aid in calming my pounding heart.

@✿┆ k. yugyeom。ʳᵉᵈ ᵖᵃⁿᵈᵃ hearing your realization to attending something like this with me for my first time made me chuckle, though eyes look endearingly at you from how your body wriggles from the excitement.
Just don't laugh if I get too scared-
nods in agreement to your words as you start leading us, my eyes looking around at the entry way and what comes after, the aesthetics are pleasing and the added spooky sounds really created a scary ambience. i keep myself close to your side with our hands held together, holding up the lantern so we both are able to see.
Hm... honestly I'm not sure.. I think anything that jumps out without warning will most likely scare me

/tail is tucked between my legs, clearly scared once faced with the dark path with eerie music and faint screams in the background. there are red lights flashing somewhere in the distance, probably the first location on the map./ uhh...i believe you'll be better at taking photos...mhm. i'll use my lantern then so you can focus on the pictures.
/is unsure if i made the right call but nevertheless i hand over the camera, flicking on my lantern. quickly checks the nearby surroundings, the trees on either side, to make sure there are no hidden monsters. keeps the lantern steadily lighting the road forward as it's not a smooth trail but rather full of tree roots and hollows parts, so easy to trip over./ careful, babe...i don't want you to fall. you can only fall for me :3 /chuckles, trying to distract myself from the scary with some flirting./
do you watch horror movies, woo? we should watch some together...and if you get scared...i'll go down on you to comfort you <3 heh /nudges your shoulder with mine, the cheeky smile on my face disappearing when suddenly a female scream and a loud bang was heard which had me jump with a high pitched yelp.

I wiggle in my spot, further showing my excitement. I admire the simple spooky decorations on the outside.

Wah, it’s giving me the willies already!
I take the initiative to lead the way, guiding you carefully through the maze-like path. There are a few scary sounds being played through speakers strategically placed throughout.

@✿┆ k. yugyeom。ʳᵉᵈ ᵖᵃⁿᵈᵃ The woods it is, I do like the woods a lot. Though this is the first time it’ll have jump scares— for sure going to memorable.
does not recall ever doing something like this, but to know that there would be time to calm down time from the jump scares I was at ease. we aren’t into the course yet but the entranceway to it was decorated with all the Halloween aesthetics.

offers a smile as I reach with a hand to turn the lantern on before taking it with my free hand, holding onto the handle of it securely before looking around, I spot what looks like an eery entrance; most likely the start.

Takes you toward the woods, excited to experience it. I would be lying if I said I wasn’t also a little scared.
‘Here are your lanterns, try not to swing them around as a weapon. We’ve been having a few accidents like that lately.’
My eyes widen, surprised to hear that people were being assaulted with the lanterns, but surely they had to be aware that being frightened can induce your fight or flight response. I take one of the lit lanterns.

I curl the map up and put it in my back pocket after giving it a good look over. I hold my lantern and wonder which one of us should be taking photos. Smiles when you squeeze my hand, giving yours a reassuring one back. I follow you through the beginning section of the woods-
Hm, they didn’t say, should I turn mine off until we find out? We can converse the energy that way. Also, which one of us is gonna have the steadies hands when taking pictures? He said something about making sure the pictures are clear enough to make out what monster it is.

/takes your hand in mind, eagerly leading the way to the haunted woods, the first part of the halloween event. despite the cheerful smile and the wagging tail, i knew i would end getting scared of my own shadow at some point, actually not as brave as i tried myself to be./
my roommate said there's a great cafe at the end with amazing cakes. i haven't had cake in so long, i really want to. you got a favorite dessert?
/once at the entrance of the woods, we're given a map by the staff and explained that we can complete some missions to earn rewards. we're given lanterns and a small digital camera and we're shown to the start point of the horror route through the woods. squeezes your hand tight, swallowing thickly as i try to be courageous, taking the first few steps on the dark path, holding my lantern with my free hand./ they didnt mention if we should save up lantern power...would it last us till the end?

@• ✿┆ k. sunwoo。ᵛᵃˡᵃᶦˢ ᵇˡᵃᶜᵏⁿᵉᶜᵏ sunwoo at his doorstep startled him, and he was pretty lucky he was already in acceptable pjs with the way sunwoo pulled him out of his cabin so quickly. he looked over his shoulder when he got pushed in front of sunwoo, snorting.
Fine, fine, you can use me as a shield then, but if you abandon me I'm dragging you back in as the shield.
he smiles innocently and reaches behind him to pull sunwoo along with him

@❀┆ l. juyeon。ᶜʰᵉᵉᵗᵃʰ after making plans and agreeing to explore the haunted woods together, sunwoo dragged juyeon out from his cabin, to the start of the wooded area. he held onto the olders arm loosely with his hand, pushing him lightly more in front of him.
i'm not letting me use me as a shield.. you gotta go in first.
