he whispered softly the words falling out of his mouth as he could somewhat sense your concern, it was obvious the two were interested in each other, so really.. it shouldn’t have came as a surprise to him, but he always had his own self doubts. He tilted his head down just a tad as you fastened the necklace around his neck, and once it was placed his hand immediately moved to hold it in his fingers, it was a weird feeling, really, accepting a gift from someone as way to show their intentions with each other, but a small part of him had been excited and hopeful for what the future held. dropping his hand back down, he let out a soft laugh, following yours before looking up at you, eyes soft as they silently searched yours for a brief moment, his voice quiet and warm as he spoke.
you’ll have to teach me your way of courting though, so I know what to expect.

he clears his throat and offers a light laugh, knowing full well that everyone knew the two had been together lately.

the words come out with ease, mainly because it’s true, and also slightly out of relief to be received well.

he huffs softly, feeling as if it wasn’t really getting anywhere mainly due to his own lack of communication skills. so he slips off the bed and moves to kneel in front of you, grimacing as he takes his necklace out of his shirt and undoes the chain.
this is a necklace i like to wear often, it’s kind of a good luck charm of sorts— it means a lot to me, which is exactly why i am going to offer it to you now.
he clears his throat, glancing down at the chain and then back up at you with a soft breath.
sunwoo. i want to cherish you in my life. i want to learn with you, and grow as a person beside you.. and yes, i know i am young, i know it’s not going to be perfect and the road is going to be long and winding- but i, right now, cannot imagine another person i want to spend it with than you.

he groans, wishing his brain was a little clearer so he could speak better. his eyes slowly move to you, cursing softly beneath his breath before scooting closer and placing an arm around your back, keeping the touch minor so as not to pressure you.
i love when you talk to me, look at me, want to hug me or kiss me or see me.. i love having someone who wants me for those things. i need to work on being able to provide those things, and that has nothing to do with what you are doing. i have been busy, extremely busy with schedules due to the holiday season.. and for that, i am truly sorry. but you need to start considering yourself as a priority in my life too— an important aspect just like my job, you know

the arrived at the premised 35 minutes later, hair tousled from the quick jog that halted in front of the designated cabin door. his knuckles knocking against the wooden partition while he waits for his beckoning to be answered.

He had some liquor of his own sitting on the table beside his bed, just in case, that he had set in ice that he nabbed from the cafeteria on his way back. He lingered by the door once he heard the message sent, unsure if the universe would give him the second miracle of receiving a digital indication that his company had arrived
