@☼┊wen juhyun ᵇ wonwoo barely glanced up from his works, as if her words were nothing more than a background noise. his expression remained calm despite the thunder revolting in front of him. it's not usual for juhyun to outburst this way, but wonwoo knows how to handle her tantrums.
"ah yes how tragic isn't it? a creme bear with brown clothes and a hat. sounds irreplaceable, truly i think the world should stop spinning until it's found, eh?" he set the tablet down, and crossing his arms as his cold gaze finally met hers. "you mean to tell me you've been losing sleep over some stuffed toy? and now it's my fault that it's missing? are you being serious, wen juhyun?" he tilted his head as his lips pressing into a thin line.
" i hate to break it to you, my dear but i don't exactly have a tracking device installed in your precious bear. maybe, it decided to run away because it couldn't handle the pressure to be your bedtime therapist." his eyes narrowed. of course it was his own doing.
wonwoo despised the bear at the moment juhyun got them. yeah he's totally being possessive. he feels his privilege as husband got revoked by a mere bear. hence he took the matter into his own hands by throwing and burn the stuffed bear in the forest.
"or maybe you should ask yourself why — just fking why you're so desperate to cling to a toy when there's a perfectly real person lying next to you every night."
@☼┊wen wonwoo ᵃ juhyun’s mouth hung open in shock. did he seriously just call it trash? she stared at him for a moment, trying to process his sharp words. then, her surprise quickly turned into frustration. her brows furrowed, and her lips jutted out in a pout, her irritation written all over her face.
“it’s not trash!” she shot back, her voice rising a little. “i was just hugging it to sleep the other night. it’s a creme—light brown bear with brown clothes and a little hat. are you sure you haven’t seen it?” her words came out fast, almost frantic, as she watched her husband’s expression, searching for any sign that he might care.
that bear wasn’t just some random thing she picked up. she had bought it just last week while wandering through the mall. it had caught her eye immediately—soft, cute, and dressed in the most adorable little outfit. it was a limited edition, too, which made it feel extra special.
she’d bought it partly because she couldn’t resist how cute it was, but also because it made her feel less alone at night. her husband might be there in bed, but he was distant, his warmth never quite reaching her. that bear had been something she could hold, something that brought her a small sense of comfort. and now it was missing.
juhyun let out a deep sigh, her chest rising and falling as she tried to keep calm. “i just bought it a few days ago, and now it’s gone. who else am i supposed to ask about it if not you?” she said, her voice tinged with frustration and just a hint of hurt. she stared at him, hoping for some sort of reaction through his cold gaze.
