Dominic retreated into his room; a pack of cigarette with only four left was tossed inside a bowl by the door where the room key was stowed. The main light switched off and was replaced with a warm light floor lamp by the desk. The adjustable brightness was set to dim. Dominic then sat on his desk chair, staring out at the night sky as a form of relaxation, and some music to accompany him.

The next focus was the bed - white sheets replaced with navy blue ones, instantly elevated the mood. He also grabbed a medium sized jar of coconut scented candle along with a candle warmer, which was immediately set up on the desk out of excitement. The soft, sweet and creamy fragrance slowly filled the room, providing comfort and relaxation.

Thinking that his room could use a bit of life, Dominic bought a mini bouquet of white dried baby's breath and a small clear glass vase to display it in. He sets it on the desk by the window, next to his laptop, feeling proud for finally taking the step - a small start to a bigger change.
