@α┊taylor zakhar-perez The sound of Taylor prounouncing Taeyong’s name made him smile a little giddy for an odd reason. Perhaps it just made everything all the more real fofr him. He listened as Taylor spoke and laughed along with him “The flyer was pretty shady—I think they need to work better on their marketing but hey it worked out right? Don’t apologize! We were riding the same wave length—maybe thats why we got paired up? System wanted to prove itself.” He laughed and felt some of the tension he had before ease away slowly. It nice to know both of them of were equally skeptical of the flyer but they managed to get this far and that had to count for something. Hm, Taeyong’s thoughts halted for a moment as Taylor’s words seem odd and so he asked “Switch it off? Do you mean because you need like a korean phone now?” he asked curious but hoped he wasn’t being too nosy. He smiled when he saw the older man take a fruit. He took out a container of berries and began to pop a couple in his mouth to munch on along with his new friend.

“Besides that is all well? Do you need any help like adjusting or like finding shops? I can help you if you ever need it Taylor. Can’t imagine how overwhelming it might get sometimes being in a whole new country.” Taeyong adds in with a small sigh as he thinks. He chuckles at the other’s comment about the food. “Well if we don’t finish it all today we can take some back. I’d hate for any of it to go to waste.” He says and finishes a few more berries before he sits up straighter when work is mentioned. A tease of a grin touches his lips and he asks “Would it be silly if I had you guess?” He asks and cups his face while looking up at Taylor “What do you think i do for work?” He asks playfully.

@Ω┊lee taeyong "Taeyong," he repeated, making sure his pronounciation was correct, taking a seat next to the other, "hah! Funny thing I've actually thought that it was a scam at first," his body shook with laughter before his face softened, tone apologetic when he realized he must have sounded like a jerk, "sorry about that. The flyers aren't shady at all it's just you can never be too careful you know?" Leaning back with his arms propped up, Taylor darted his attention from the waves to Taeyong, "my first week was good so far. Though I have to keep my phone switched off for a week," his tone tinged with irritation momentarily, "really? I'm happy that things are running smooth for you so far and this flower buddy thing- it's actually a good idea - one on one bonding session," a banana was then taken from the cooler, amused and appreciative of the variety, "we better finish everything then. Anyways, Taeyong what do you do for work?"

@α┊taylor zakhar-perez Taeyong lifted his head and smiled at Taylor at the sound of a new voice. The moment their eyes met, he felt a rush of excitement. It was real—the whole thing was real, and he wasn’t scammed into some weird cult or catfish situation. There was hope fluttering in his chest at the prospect of a new friend. He smiled widely and greeted Taylor with a hug. “Hey! Its great to meet you too. I’m Taeyong.” He sits up and faces his flower buddy. “I’m really glad that flyer was legit—up until now I was still kind of worried it’d end up as a scam of sorts.” He chuckled shyly and ran a hand through his hair.


“So, how has your first week been? I’ve only been in the community for about two weeks so I’m still trying to get a sensee of Everything. It's been nice so far, " he says, running a nervous hand through his hair. He hoped his nerves wouldn’t get to him this afternoon but it was a hard ask. He began very quietly playing with the sand at his side to distract himself from the anxiety. “I brought snacks! I know we said to keep it simple but—I just couldn’t decide what to get. Please help yourself to anything.” He gestures to the cooler, which holds fruits, chips, sandwiches, and other small snacks.

@Ω┊lee taeyong A community board in the communal area was filled with an array of pinned flyers It was the first thing that caught Taylor's attention when he stepped into the communal area to get acquainted with the place. Among it, only one caught his interest with a title 'flower buddy'. For Taylor, the flyer seemed suspicious at first. Paranoia hardly hits him however the particular flyer emphasizing on 'promised connection between community members' did it for him. It sounded like a cult... or maybe he was watching too much movies. After inquiring a number of people regarding the legitimacy of the said flyer, Taylor texted the number and soon he was set for a hangout session with a hybrid named Taeyong. A companionship in a foreign land is what Taylor needed the most. He had met a few community members on his first day, had a little chat but he wanted to get to know one or two properly.

When a notification rang, Taylor looked at his phone. The man just arrived and was smiling fondly at the photo of the ocean, somehow reminded him of home. Feet leisurely made its way to Taeyong, one hand carrying a plastic bag filed with two bottles of lemon sodas, clueless as to what to bring to the picnic albeit Taeyong already told him he would be the one to bring the food and drinks. "Hey!" a huge smile greeted the other, followed by a quick hug, "uh I brought sodas," the beverages were set down and a hand extended for a proper greeting, "I'm Taylor, nice to finally meet you,"

@α┊taylor zakhar-perez The day was beautiful and Taeyong counted everyone of his lucky stars. The sky was a lovely shade of blue and sun was up high and sky but it wasn't too hot either. A pleasant breeze brushed through his air and he could taste the salt in it. It brought him some ease as he moved through the soft sand to find just the right spot to meet his 'flower buddy'. It'd been a silly flyer in the communal space that promised connection between the community members. Something Taeyong craved for more than he'd like to admit out loud. He'd been feeling a little lonely for awhile and so this chance though comical in it's presentation felt like a golden opportunity. He'd texted the number and not long after that he was connected with another new member. Taylor. Taeyong couldn't even recall ever meeting the man which intrigued him even more. The texting was fun, Taylor seemed like a nice enough guy so it only felt right to meet in person. Besides who didn't like a good excuse for a picnic?

Once he found the perfect spot Taeyong played out a large blanket and made more to weigh it down with bags and some rocks. He then took out some snacks and set the cooler beside himself. He checked his phone and texted Taylor 'Hey, I just got here. It's super nice out we picked a great day!' Along with the text he sent a picture of the ocean view that went on endlessly. He smiled to himself and stared out into quietly as he waited for his new friend to arrive.

@α┊ahn hyoseop ♛ “It’s not silly? But you’re not scared of the water..? You said you like to surf and stuff right? How do you feel safe..?” Seongmin asked softly honestly curious, he wondered if maybe it was in his head. “So maybe if I don’t think about them then maybe I’ll be able to enjoy the water more right.. I- no seoppie if you wanna swim we can swim but as long as when I put my feet down I can touch something.. I don’t wanna take you away from the water”

Grateful for the slower pace Seongmin gave your arm a gentle squeeze of appreciation. Once off the sand he was able to walk normal pace again keeping up with you. A small bounce in his step showing how happy he was. “Yeah we’re pretty cute, the big ears is what gets most people but I haven’t shown my shift to anyone before, not even my members.. I think shifting is special and should be kept for someone special to witness before others.” letting out a bubbling laugh Seongmin shook his head looking up at you. “Water zoo.. I’m calling it that from now on.. I love that and well sashimi is super yummy I just wouldn’t eat it in front of the fishies… I’d feel bad- that if that was like their uncle or brother or something and I’m just smiling like a crazy person eating their loved one in front of them.. I’d be a monster. I think I do that with a bubble back and a nice cold drink.. safer and after I can just lounge around in my robe and shove icecream in my face”

hyoseop noticed his comparatively larger strides, and slowed his pace. his brown orbs are drawn to the cerulean ocean, calm accept small foamy waves forming on the surface.

its not silly.

he assured before continuing, his voice a tad louder than usual otherwise it would be swallowed by the chaos around them. certainly, weekends are always crowded anywhere.

its a plausible reason. if you think about the unknown creatures that lurk in the ocean. but hey, doggie paddle is a good place to start.

hm. how about we find a place somewhere near the water and build a sandcastle instead of swimming?

he chuckled at your suggestion, albeit nodding affirmatively.

i remembered someone calling the aquarium a water zoo once. well, not exactly weird. I'd the weirder one because i think sashimi whenever i see fishes in the aquarium.
you go on little adventures, huh? sounds so much fun, minnie.
ahh, i just like surfing a bit. you know let my worries wash in the ocean.

One of those aimless, unsure where he'll end up, walks. He found himself at the beach, the sand frozen at this time of year, offering a firm foundation under his strides. Bayi reaches his destination where the water and sand collide: dark, empty orbs searching the waves that wash up, wishing for the waves to drag him into the freezing waters.

His gaze fixated on the soothing sounds of the calm waves, soon his mind would adrift, lost in sea of darkness and memories, painful memories he wished to forget, that he could toss into the water and watch it sink far away from the surface.

Bayi took a deep inhale, it was shaky, his body struggling to intake the cold, brisk air as it attacks his lungs.

What would have happened that one day? All those days? What if his mother wasn't there.....Who would have won? Would he be alive and standing here?

He let out a bitter laugh, his mask of being emotionless and composed was melting off. The alpha felt his throat restrain itself, challenging breathing and swallowing. He recalled his dad, is what he was supposed to be called, but a monster, a jealous monster who wished for his son to be dead. His hands were strong, full of determination that day, and all those other nights he attempted to commit murder.

Bayi dropped to his knees, the compact of the sand would have made him winced, instead he let out a cry, stuck in his throat. Memories start flooding him; his body trembles with fear and desires; he is a mess.

If he died that day, would his father cover up the murder...would he even have a proper funeral or be left rotting, returning to the earth? The alpha closed his eyes, hands limp on his lap as he pictured himself as the victor. Would he cover up or come clean and go to jail for that monster....?

Recent conversation flickers, its been in the back of his head ever since, tickling and pushing him over the edge. It was terrible how much he would stay up, thinking of horrible deeds he would do to his father....He felt guilty but his body trembled with anticipation. The eye bags he now carried with him, all because he was daydreaming if and how he would come on top, and show that man, he was strong enough....That he was able to fight back.

He really wanted that man to die, buried out in nowhere, with no fancy, thoughtful goodbyes, letting nature do its job, swallowing and breaking him down to bones. Bayi brought his hands up, cupping over his face, he felt weight, a heaviness behind his eyes but no tears would see the light. It had been forever since he was able to cry, to feel and cry freely, had been long lost and didn't know if he could be capable of it anymore.

He sat there till, eventually, his emotionless mask would take control, returning him to a vessel with no passion. In the back of his mind, the coal was still hot, and just the right thing would set his mind ablaze if it made contact. Maybe he could be free one day, of all of this. One day.

@α┊ahn hyoseop “Yeah but dont worry ill show you when we come back if i let go of your arm.” Seongmin glanced up at hyoseop, “Ah i dont, actually im scared of the ocean- like the sharks and not knowing all the creatures in it? Its silly i know and i kinda dont know how to swim? I can whats it called- doggie paddle but thats it..” he shrugged holding on to your arm a little tighter almost slipping. “But i didnt want to say no, plus the beach is pretty and i can still go in the water and have fun- oo or look for shells or build a sand castle!”

“Ooo well have to get the crab ones if they have it then so you can try-but maybe two bags..i want a whole bag to myself” He jokes glancing up with a warm smile. “Im a fennec fox, small face big ears tiny body. Were pretty cute adults usually way around 3 maybe 3.5 pounds max.. And with i usually hang out at the aquarium actually.. Weird huh? Scared of the water but likes learning about the creatures in it or that need it to survive in the wild.. Oh or the trials or forrest when i need to just shift and run around, hunt a little.. What about you? Is the beach your usual go to spot? You look like a beach body~”

@Ω┊ahn seongmin hyoseop chortles when a vivid motion picture comes to his mind, of a waddling penguin. quiet oddly in the woodlands because he'd been curious about benedict cumberbatch as the narrator.

the alpha sounded and looked very much surprised, but only because he enjoyed surfing and sitting at the beach alone, often. it helped clear his head. the necessary moment of respite.

ah. where do you usually go to hang out then?

he nodded in affirmation, the prospect of getting food always got him excited, for obvious reasons.

allergies, I don't have. not that I know of. pft. don't worry, I am sturdy enough to withstand anything, but a cold.
perhaps it has to do with the fact that I am a wolf, minnie. do you mind if I ask what type of hybrid, you are?
crab-flavoured is new. I never had any, before. we should search for it at the store.

@α┊ahn hyoseop “Thank you thank you~” Seongmin laughed doing a small spin and curtsys as a thank you before finding himself shyly wrapping a hand around your arm to hold on to. “Mmm a little, you should have seen me walking to our spot- i looked like a penguin seoppie just waddling along..which is fine because i love penguins, and thank you- for helping. I dont really go to beaches so i forgot the appropriate attire it seems.” seongmin watches the ground walking next to you to make sure he doesnt trip even with your help sure he would die of embarrassment if he did so.

He glances up eyes sparkling with delight, cheeks tinting with a soft dust of pink “Really..? Then next time ill prepare my best sandwiches for you hyung..No allergies right?if i accidentally killed you id be super sad” Seongmin nudged your side with his arm smiling. “That makes sense, need all that protein to keep you looking like you do- oo crisps do sound good.. I hope they have the crab flavored ones.. Those are the best seriously- once i start i cant stop with them."

hyoseop looks at the print on the front of your shirt, bending forward a bit.

I can see that. the print is quite high quality as well. we should be good to leave with that much, yes. you're so smart, minnie.

he waits, while you prepare to leave. nodding his head, he offers his arm, the one without the bag, for you to hold on.

it must be difficult to walk on the sand because of the shoes, no? hold on me.

I didn't bring anything to eat either, minnie. since there are stores and plenty of good restaurants near by. nothing beats the taste of free seafood. but, I'd love to try sandwiches made by you, they happen to be one of my favourites.
I like sausauges and onigiri. sometimes, I snack on some crisps. but I am always craving protein, so even my snacks turn to full fledged meals.

@α┊ahn hyoseop “Ah I felt a little spicy today so I added some yellow and white too~ don’t worry plenty of pink to come though~ and thank you, I found it ad a theist store and knew I had to have it. It has kittens on it.” He smiled nodding, “The blanket should be good to stay there right? If I leave some juice boxes and the bag with my change of clothes on it people would assume we’re in the water or something right and won’t take our spot?”

He pats his coat making sure he had his wallet and phone. “All good! Let’s get us some yummy snacks and stuff, I can’t believe I forgot snacks, I was so excited it completely slipped my mind. I could have made cute little sandwich and cut out out fruits in little shapes..” Seongmin frowned missing such an opportunity to show his style of making food. But he didn’t frown to long, it just meant more time with the alpha. “What kind of snacks do you like seoppie?”

hyoseop repeated, momentarily confused, trying to figure out which was his left arm. the frown on his face immediately changed into a bright one, despite squinting against the sunlight. he waves back at you, enthusiastically.

I can definitely see you bouncing.

he replied with a low chuckle, jogging towards you, hanging up the call immediately, after. hyoseop surveyed your attire, down and up.

I was expecting top to bottom pink, that's why I couldn't find you. your shirt is really cute though.

at the mention of the spot you'd chosen, he glanced past you.

no,no, that place is absolutely perfect. we might have to leave for a bit though. grab some snacks from the convenient store before settling down. shall we?

@α┊ahn hyoseop Kneeling on the blanket sseongmin looked around eyes squinting behind his glasses. He stands up covering his eyes with his hand spotting a figure where you described and let out a small laugh. “Turn like thirty degrees to your left seoppie i found us a spot under an umbrella a little bit away from you, Im waving can you see me? Now im bouncing too”

Seongmin did both laughing into the mic. Walking over leaving his back and blanket to meet you half way only hanging up when he was close enough wondering if a hug would be to much to hope for. “You look really handsome.. I like the blue on you, it matches your complexion seoppie~ i uh hope the spot over there isnt to bad.. Figured if more people decided to come to the beach too wed at least have a squiet spot–but if you have a better spot ill just grab my blanket and bag”

the wolf could be heard singing on repeat, in a tone so soft that only his ears could perceive them. the briny, cool air greeted him as soon as he stepped out from the cab, opting out of the alternative to drive his own car, in case he were to drink. (which he most definitely will)

the sound of the waves clashing on the shore always brought a source of tranquility, he stood still for a bit. admiring the picturesque view, reaching for the polariod camera within the bag dangling by his side, the black strap on his shoulder. until his phone buzzed, he takes it out instead and calls the sender of the text instead.

@α┊ahn hyoseop Stepping out the cab seongmin wrapped his coat around his waist and headed down the beach with an ever-present smile on his face. He doesnt remember the last time he went to the beach- probably when he was a child as the ocean actually scared him a little but he wasnt going to turn down the opportunity for alone time with hyoseop. He pulls his phone out typing a quick message to tell the alpha he was there.
Finding a spot between the water and walkway seongmin laid down a beach blanket and sat down pulling out a few juice boxes from his bag and opening one while he waited staring out into the water wondering how the water was. He knew evenings would be cold but he hoped maybe the water wouldn't be to bad- even if it was and they couldn't enjoy it he wouldn't complain, the joy of just being there was enough.

Baekhyun let out a faint sigh as he walked down the sandy path that lead down to the sand filled beach area. His gaze roaming around it with a curious hum trying to see just how many people were present but not seeing many caused him to let out a relieved sigh. Pulls his ray band sunglass up the bridge of his nose as his steps resumed. Feet sinking into the glittering sand pile with every step until the was water tickling his toes. Head rasing to look across the expanse of water silently enjoying the view before he was trudging forward until the water reached his waist. Eyes falling shut and arms reaching to let his fingertips glide along the top of glistening waves while his head lulled back to take in the sea breeze.
